Stocking up on food, Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri Cruise were spotted at a supermarket in Vancouver, Canada today (January 7).
The ?Dawson?s Creek? darling and her adorable little girl both looked to be in good spirits as they carried their finds down the street.
And it looked like Katie was planning to make a major meal, as she purchased a turkey roasting tray along with her groceries.
Of course, Suri looked as cute as a button as she pranced around in her faux fur coat, Pink hair band, and Pink rain boots.

She?s usually a fan of more conservative fashions, but Katie Holmes is all about being sexy in the February issue of Elle magazine.
The ?Mad Money? mommy shows off her fabulous legs and even a little bra-action in the photo spread that accompanies her cover story.
In the interview, Katie shares that her daughter Suri isn?t shy about sharing her opinion. "She'll really tell me [what she thinks]. Like today I'm wearing brown suede pants, and she said, 'I don't like your pants.'?
"The other day we came out of a store, and [Suri] said, 'I want to go in there,' pointing at another store quite a distance away. In that store was a dress that she wanted. I said, 'Wow, Suri. You're something. You picked that out from a football field away.'"

Katie Holmes is the cover girl for the February issue of Elle Magazine. I could have sworn she was just recently the cover girl, just a few months ago. Where is it?ah, November 2009. Not as recently as I thought. But you?ll have to forgive me, because most of Katie?s interviews are the same thing - she always talks about Suri?s style, and how Suri dresses her, and then Katie goes on to talk up her own style, as if Suri gets it from her. Not so much, Kate-Bot. Suri gets her love of high heels and pretty princess fashion from her dad. Just sayin?. Anyway, I think Katie is promoting her role as Jackie Kennedy in the History Channel?s miniseries, because she talks a lot about Jackie in the interview:
Katie on Suri?s fashion sense: “She’ll really tell me what she thinks. Like today I’m wearing brown suede pants, and she said, ‘I don’t like your pants.’” Holmes explains Suri’s advice isn’t all harsh, though: “But then she’ll say, ‘You’ve got to wear these shoes.’ Or ‘That’s so pretty, Mom. Wear that.’ She’s got a great eye.”
Suri is an instinctual shopper: “The other day we came out of a store, and she said, ‘I want to go there,’ pointing at another store quite a distance away. In that store was the dress that she wanted. I said, ‘Wow, Suri. You’re something. You picked that out from a football field away.’”
On the design process for her clothing line, Holmes & Yang: ?I have such an appreciation for the fine details and the amount of work it takes. I really appreciate clothing and designers so much more. It?s made shopping even better.?
On decorating: ?I like to create a nice table. I love roses and orchids and French tulips and berries, and then a lot of things that are just pretty and I have no idea what their names are.?
On working hard to perfect her role as former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy: ?I worked as hard as I could, because I loved her. On set there was this feeling that we had to create something very special, because these people were very special.?
On playing such a complex role: ?[The Kennedys] were like movie stars. There was such a professionalism to their public image.?
On admiring Jackie Kennedy?s strength: ?I didn?t realize that she had lost a child in August and then [Jack] was assassinated in November. I couldn?t believe it. She had so much strength?.I loved her love of family, how important it was for her to be a good mother.?
On not letting the attention from the paparazzi get to her: ?I don?t worry so much. It is what it is, and it?s fine. I?ll go somewhere because I need to get something done.?

It is startling to realize that Jackie lost baby Patrick just a few months before Jack was assassinated. I remember reading a Jackie biography years ago and figuring out how quickly those two events happened in succession. It?s no wonder Jackie was so beloved for so many years - people had tremendous sympathy for her, and she was a world-wide icon. Now, how will the zombie known as Katie Holmes do with the role of Jackie? I have no idea. Jackie didn?t talk out of the side of her mouth, I know that much. Strike one, Kate-Bot.
Also - I love the idea of Suri vetoing Katie?s pants. It cracks me up.

She?s always loved stage acting, and Katie Holmes will make her return to Broadway in the thriller ?Extremities.?
The William Mastrosimone-written play is about a revenge-driven sex attack victim named Marjorie, played by the ?Dawson?s Creek? darling.
And Katie will be joining the list of distinguished ladies who have played Marjorie in the past including Susan Sarandon and Farrah Fawcett.
Also joining Ms. Holmes in the production, slated to open sometime in 2011, is ?Big Love? babe Chloe Sevigny.

It may be Christmas time, but Katie Holmes certainly isn?t taking a holiday from her rigorous workout regimen.
The ?Dawson?s Creek? actress was spotted making her way to a REV Spin Class at The Sports Club in Beverly Hills early this morning (December 24).
Joined by a gal pal, Katie donned a snazzy pair of red and black shoes along with a grey hoodie and black workout pants.
Earlier this week, Ms. Holmes brought her uber-fit hubby Tom Cruise along for the spin class, ensuring that they stay in top form for the New Year.

She?s been upping her workout schedule as of late, and Katie Holmes was spotted heading to the gym in Beverly Hills, CA on Thursday morning (December 23).
The ?Romantics? babe looked a bit disheveled as she headed to the fitness facility while paying little attention to the on-hand photogs.
Perhaps Ms Katie doesn?t have time to get ready anymore - as she's managing a household consisting of husband Tom Cruise, their four-year-old daughter, Suri, and Tom?s two kids from his past marriage to Nicole Kidman.
Of Isabella, 18, and Connor, 15, living with Holmes and Cruise, the ?Australia? actress told Marie Clair magazine, ?They live with Tom, which was their choice. I'd love [for] them to live with us, but what can you do?"

Back on the West Coast, Katie Holmes was spotted hitting up a fitness center in Los Angeles today (December 21).
The ?Dawson?s Creek? darling sported a grey hoodie with black trousers and leopard print boots as she carried her large tote bag past the paparazzi.
Last night, Katie was in New York City with her husband Tom Cruise and daughter Suri as they left their apartment.
The happy trio headed off to the Plaza Hotel for some family fun. The night prior they ate at the Il Cantinori Italian Restaurant.

Katie Holmes turned 32 years old on Saturday. Thirsty-two? going on a hard 40-something due to excessive Xenu and medication. Anyway, Tom Cruise managed to pry himself away from Jeremy Renner and Josh Holloway on the Canadian set of Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol (twitch) to fly down to New York to treat his girls to some family time. On Friday, Tom took Suri and Katie to see The Nutcracker, and they even got to pose with some of the ballerinas (cute pics here). Then, Tom took Katie out for two birthday dinners on Saturday and Sunday night. These photos are from last night - I guess Katie didn?t feel like wearing makeup for dinner??
Katie Holmes, having a romantic 32nd birthday dinner with hubby Tom Cruise at ABC Kitchen in New York City. The couple was casually dressed ? he wore jeans and she was in a lacy top ? and very affectionate at their late-night meal. According to an observer, the two were very cozy at their table, laughing and enjoying themselves. Earlier in the weekend, the two took daughter Suri to see the New York City Ballet’s Nutcracker ? and the family headed backstage, where Suri got to meet the dancers and pose for pictures.

So Tom got to spend some time with his girls? good for him. There was some speculation in last week?s Star Magazine that Tom and Katie are having marriage problems yet again, so this weekend came at a convenient time. Tom and Katie haven?t been spending a lot of time together, though. She?s been filming in LA, he?s been in Europe and Canada - Tom goes weeks without seeing his wife and daughter. God knows what he does in that time. Shops for lifts?

Continuing to enjoy their Big Apple surroundings, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were spotted out to dinner with their daughter Suri last night (December 19).
The ?Mad Money? mommy and the ?Minority Report? papa escorted their little girl to Il Cantinori for some delicious Italian eats.
Tom and Katie have been all over Manhattan this past weekend, making the most of Holmes? 32nd birthday.
Among the stops on their schedule were the ABC Kitchen, Gemma in the Bowery Hotel, and SoulCycle fitness center.

Getting an early start to the day, Katie Holmes was spotted leaving her Big Apple abode for a morning workout in New York City on Sunday (December 19).
Dressed in gym gear, the "Mad Money" actress was escorted to a nearby car en route to a local fitness center to work off those birthday dinner calories.
Having turned 32-year-old the previous day, Katie was treated to a romantic night on the town by husband Tom Cruise on Saturday night.
The loved-up couple kicked things off with dinner at Jean-Georges Vongerichten's restaurant ABC Kitchen before heading over to Gemma in the Bowery Hotel for a dessert nightcap.
