Good news everyone — these are brand new Tom Cruise photos! I’ve been jonesing for a few weeks as Tom has geared up for his Oblivion promotional tour because when it comes to the Cruise, I’m a lot like Kaiser with Tom Hiddleston photos, but very different too. I mean, it’s obviously not a sex thing (ha!) with Tom. I just need to see the lifts every so often because I see it as a sign of balance in the universe, so when I saw that Tom attended the Buenos Aires premiere of Oblivion, and we didn’t have access to the photos, I grew dispondent. Kaiser and CB thought my reaction was hilarious, but honestly, I started to whine pathetically like that heroin girl in the Evil Dead red-band trailer. I solemnly said to the internet, “You. Need. To. Get. Me. Those. Lifts. NOW.” Sadly, no dice.
As a close second (as in no lifts), here are some photos of Tom in Rio de Janiero on Thursday. His hair looks very Simon Cowell-esque, don’t you think? His eyes are especially crazy. I implore you to enlarge this photo and gaze into the madness.
Hopefully, we’ll see some actual premiere pictures soon. In the meantime, a story in this week’s Enquirer puts forth the amusing scenario of Tom being all upset with Katie Holmes for daring to sex it up a little bit in some recent jewelry ads and her oily, beachy Allure spread that (to quote Kaiser) made Katie look “like she’s been boning someone hot at the beach.” Allegedly, Tom is all kinds of angry that Katie would shame Suri by daring to be a little sexy instead of continuing to act like a perfect Scientology Stepford wife. Here are the details:
An irate Tom Cruise is upset with his ex Katie Holmes over her steamy poses in a series of eye-popping photos, sources say. The doe-eyed beauty let it all hang out in a sizzling new ad campaign in wich she’s made to look naked and barely covering her breasts with her hands.
Besides that, 34-year-old Katie got wet and wild on the cover of the April issue of Allure magazine, appearing to be topless and dripping wet with a sultry, come-hither look on her face.
“Tom is fit to be tied over Katie’s red-hot new image,” and insider told the Enquirer. “It is sure to burn him up because he thinks Katie is deliberately trying to rub his nose in her sassy single-girl persona.
“It seems as if Katie’s trying to get back at Tom for forcing her to live under his controlling ways for so long. The pictures might also be a way of Katie pointing a finger in Tom’s face and saying, ‘Eat your heart out, buddy — this is what you’re missing!”
Katie’s provocative poses made worldwide headlines, and the 50-year-old Mission: Impossible hunk read her the riot act for putting herself on public display like that, says the source. Tom is concerned about her sweet motherly image going to pot and their 6-year-old daughter Suri being embarrassed by the photographs, according to the source.
“The bottom line is that it galls Tom to no end that he doesn’t have the power to call the shots with Katie anymore,” says the source.
The former “Dawson’s Creek” cutie shredded her girl-next-door image by appearing in various states of undress in an ad campaign for the upscale Brazilian jeweler H. Stern. In one phot, she appears to be slipping out of her bikini top, while other shots show her flaunting her sexy body.
“The photos in the H. Stern ads are extremely hot,” noted the source. “If Katie were still married to Tom, there’s no way he’d have signed off on them. Katie had to know that releasing the photos now would drive Tom crazy.” Katie has posed for two previous H. Stern ad campaigns, but neither was as sex-sational as her latest photos.
“In the Allure magazine photos, Katie has tousled hair, wet skin, and smudged makeup,” said the source. “It seems as if she’s trying to recreate the look of a woman who’s just emerged from a wild lovemaking session.”

Call me crazy (not like Cruise), but I honestly don’t think Katie did these steamy shoots to get back at Tom and show him what he’s been missing. I don’t think she puts that much thought into the dude other than to continually attempt to shake off the PTSD associated with six years of marriage to the tiny tyrant. I think Katie did these shoots to further her career and (hopefully) show Hollywood that she’s still capable of playing “sultry.” As for Tom’s feigned concern on behalf of Suri, I just have to say …. Tom-bitch, please. Katie wasn’t showing off anything improper at all. Tom’s just mad that he can no longer tell Katie what to do.

Katie Holmes covers the April issue of Allure, and this photo shoot is way sexier than anything she ever did when she was married to Tom Cruise! It even seems like Katie might have gone topless for a few shots (or she was wearing a tube top, whatever). She?s all oiled up and damp-haired and clear-eyed, like she?s been boning someone hot at the beach. Does this kind of styling work for her? Not really, but it?s nice to see her mix it up a little bit. As for the interview? well, I?m not really sure what Katie is even promoting, except maybe ?her new life?. Some highlights from the interview:
Her future plans: “I hope this is a peaceful year for a lot of people in the world. When you look back on the last year, there were a lot of tragedies?Hurricane Sandy, the Connecticut shooting. I…I just hope it’s a good year for everyone.” You included? Holmes smiles, then is quiet for a few beats. “A lot of people have gone through a lot of stuff.”
Will she have more kids? “I don’t know. I’m open to it.”
She is now the face & co-owner of Alterna Haircare and the face of Bobbi Brown cosmetics: “I’ve been a fan of her makeup for so many years, because I just feel comfortable putting it on. And I don’t feel like I can screw it up.”
She was into supermodels: “Growing up, I was really into the supermodels. I would listen to RuPaul’s ‘You Better Work.’”
Suri chooses her own clothes: Suri is picking the wee high heels and feminine dresses herself. “She’s got a great eye, she really does,” Holmes says, with a hint of pride.
The best beauty advice Holmes got from her mother: “She said, ‘You may be pretty, and you may be talented, but nobody will remember that if you’re mean.’”
Law school? When asked about a National Enquirer report that Holmes might be going to law school, she is tickled. “Well, my brother and father are attorneys, and?we’ll see. I like the practical thinking of attorneys.”
Doing the now-closed play Dead Accounts: ?I was open to – well, to whoever wanted me. But it was always my goal to make it back to the stage.?

?You may be pretty, and you may be talented, but nobody will remember that if you’re mean.? Well, I think people will remember you if you?re mean, they just won?t remember you kindly. But Katie does have the reputation as one of the nicest celebrities out there ? literally no one (but Scientologists) has a bad word to say about her. Even the paparazzi like her. As for more babies? I would like Katie to find someone really amazing to just date. I don?t need her to get remarried (I would imagine she?s gun-shy about remarriage), but I think enough time has passed, and it would be great to see her with someone awesome, someone who wanted to be her life and Suri?s life, someone who maybe wanted to get Katie pregnant?

Here are some photos of Katie Holmes outside of the New York Observer 25th Anniversary Party at The Four Seasons in NYC last night. Katie is wearing Dolce & Gabbana, and I love everything about how she looks ? her hair, her makeup, the dress ? except for the shoes. The shoes are unfortunate. I think simple black pumps or heels would have been better, right? But I won?t let that distract me from how great she looks overall. I want Katie to do well ? and while I think she?s enjoying her single-mom life in Manhattan, I am worried about her career. Maybe her new career path is a variety of side-projects. Maybe it?s on Broadway (doubt it). Maybe it?s on TV (please!). Anyway, Us Weekly had a recent update on the state of Katie, Suri and yes, even Tom Cruise.
TomKat is happily divorced. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ good friend Adam Shankman told Us Weekly Sunday, March 10 that the exes and coparents are doing very well after finalizing their headline-grabbing divorce last summer. Us chatted with the Shankman, 48, at the John Varvatos 10th Annual Stuart House Benefit in West Hollywood about his separated pals.
“They are incredibly happy,” the Rock of Ages director said. “I’ve just been emailing with him. He’s coming back. He’s shooting [All You Need Is Kill] in London and seems as happy as a clam. I know he sees his daughter,” Shankman explained of Cruise’s 6-year-old daughter Suri with Holmes, who filed for divorce last June after five years of marriage. (The duo finalized their divorce in July.)
“Katie seems really happy,” he added of the actress, who served as a guest judge with him on So You Think You Can Dance. “You just fight through all the noise. And it’s noisy!”
Late last month, E! News reported that Cruise, 50, enjoyed some father-daughter time with Suri in London, where he has been filming All You Need Is Kill.
“She spent five days with him,” a source told E! News. “He has been working quite long hours on the set, but he was able to have some time off to be with her. They had a really lovely time.”
While Cruise is working, Suri spends her time with Holmes, 34, in NYC. On Monday, the mother-daughter duo were spotted heading to Suri’s tennis lessons.
Holmes has also been focused on her career since separating from Cruise. The former Dawson’s Creek star returned to the Broadway stage in Dead Accounts and debuted her Holmes & Yang clothing line at NYC’s Fashion Week last September.

It?s weird that Tom?s friends are being sent out to talk about how much time Tom spends with Suri, right? He literally didn?t see his daughter for like six months, which proved an alternate theory of Katie?s ? that Tom wasn?t simply rolling with Xenu, but that he was and is a crazy workaholic who puts his career ahead of his family. Enjoying the warmer winter day, Katie Holmes made her way over to a business meeting at a New York City hotel on Tuesday afternoon (January 29).
The 34-year-old actress donned her military green jacket with boyfriend jeans as she quickly flashed a smile to the awaiting paparazzi before heading inside.
In regards to the quickly approaching New York Fashion Week, Miss Holmes will unfortunately be a no-show this year.
Women?s Wear Daily confirmed the news earlier this afternoon, simply writing, ?Katie Holmes will be sitting out next month?s New York Fashion Week.?
Katie was expected to show her spring 2013 collection for her Holmes & Yang collection.

The ?Dawson?s Creek? cutie was decked out in an eyelit black skirt and leather jacket, while her 6-year-old mini me bundled up in an adorable panda bear hat.
After grabbing some brunch, the duo took their time as they headed back to their apartment, chatting as they walked.
On Saturday, the hands -on- mom was enjoyed some time having lunch with a male companion followed by a stroll through the West Village.

Spending a leisurely weekend afternoon in New York City, Katie Holmes and a male companion had lunch at Sant Ambroeus, followed by a stroll through the West Village on Saturday (January 26).
The "Teaching Mrs. Tingle" star wore an olive overcoat, black leggings, and beige knee-high boots as she seemed to enjoy her day in the Big Apple.
After her Broadway play "Dead Accounts" unfortunately closed early, the 34-year-old actress is free to move on to other projects.
Recently, Katie has signed on as co-owner and spokesperson for the luxury hair care company, Alterna. According to a statement, Ms. Holmes says, "I'm really proud to be a part of this company ? not only because the products are incredible, but because their 'accessible luxury? and ?free of' philosophy really speaks to me. I love that Alterna uses natural and organic ingredients and stays away from harsh chemicals like sulfates and paraben. It?s good for my hair and good for the earth, so I feel good using it."

As previously reported by GossipCenter, the show was cancelled seven weeks early citing poor ticket sales and mediocre reviews.
Next up for the talented actress is a role in the romantic comedy ?Responsible Adults,? about a man who realizes his crush is his former babysitter.

Just the day before, the 34-year-old actress was spotted out and about in the Big Apple with her daughter, Suri, who looked like a mini-me in a navy winter coat just like mom's.
On Sunday, Katie will perform the last show of "Dead Accounts" as it closes seven weeks earlier than planned.

Here are photos of Katie Holmes yesterday outside the Ed Sullivan theater ahead of an episode of “Late Night with David Letterman.” It must have been really creepy to have to sit in the exact same seat as Tom just a few days ago when Letterman dropped his F-bomb. Like, I bet she could pick up his advanced, OT Level VIII scent in the chair. Maybe Dave swapped out chairs in advance for her. I’d hate to put my butt where Tom’s lift-wearing butt has been, and I haven’t even slept with the guy.
Look at what Katie’s wearing! She looks fantastic in this body-hugging, hot Pink dress, doesn’t she? Nice coat too. Katie is definitely not sleeping with Tom now, and she might even be dating again, according to an eyewitness report from the NY Daily News:
Katie Holmes may have dived into the New York City dating pool. The Dead Accounts actress and mom to 6-year-old daughter Suri was spotted with a handsome guy who walked her inside her Chelsea building late Saturday night and lingered while they said an extended goodbye.
“They were saying a long, long goodnight, talking and looking pretty romantic in the lobby around 2 a.m.,” an eyewitness tells Confidenti@l?s Marianne Garvey. “He looked like a finance type, was wearing classic Cole Haan shoes and a navy pea coat. He walked her to the elevator and then she said ‘good night’ and smiled.”
Our spy also says Holmes, who turned 34 on Tuesday, looked “gorgeous,” dressed simply in a white Burberry trench with jeans and flats and was leaning against the wall “twirling her hair with one leg up. She was very pretty and very flirty.”

Here’s a clip from last night’s Letterman episode. It’s not really noteworthy (Katie talks about forgetting part of her speech for Dead Accounts) except to see a full view of the dress. Also, the difference between this and her 2008 Letterman appearance is pretty signficant. Bye bye, Katebot.
This week’s tabloids are all worked up about whether Suri will spend Christmas with Tom or Katie. As we’ve already heard, Tom claims that all of his kids will be with him for the holidays. However, he allegedly spent Thanksgiving with Suri, so it must be Katie’s turn for Christmas. Of course, we just covered this week’s Star story that says Katie and Tom were doing it while he was visiting NYC to promote Jack Reacher, and the full story has even grosser (totally made-up) details about how “Katie’s physical passion for Tom never subsided,” and they’re going to spend Christmas together as a cohesive family unit in Telluride. Whatever.
Unfortunately, Katie changed outfits after the taping of “The Late Show,” and I really don’t know why she was wearing this. She kind of lost me here.
