Rounding out the week, Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted taking her son James Wilkie to school in New York City today (October 8).
The ?Sex and the City? dame looked every bit the attentive mother as she gave her son a big kiss before releasing him to go to class.
Last night, SJP treated herself to an evening of fine arts with a trip to the New York City Ballet 2010 Fall Gala.
Parker got all gussied up for the big event and was more than happy to pose for the paparazzi outside the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center.

I wanted to hate Sarah Jessica Parker?s dress. But I can?t. The bitch looks great. These are photos of SJP at last night fall gala for the NYC Ballet. The dress is Halston Heritage (SJP is the creative director for Halston), and it could have been boring and unflattering. The color could have been off. The cut could have been tragic. But damn it, this is one of her best formal looks in a really long time. The color is a great peachy metallic nude that only a few women could pull off. The cut flatters her slender, athletic figure, and it appears she?s put on just a little much-needed weight. The hair is bouncy and very Brigitte Bardot. I only have two qualms: the jewelry isn?t that awesome (with this dress), and SJP seems to be carrying an odd military jacket, perhaps to wear over the dress when she gets cold. It looks like she?s carrying her military duffel bag on her way to fashion basic training.
The Daily Mail points out that SJP was newly elected to the board of the directors for the NYC Ballet, and that the event was a celebration for ?the New York premiere of a new ballet by NYCB Principal Dancer Benjamin Millepied set to a commissioned score from Pulitzer-Prize winning composer David Lang. The programme also included George Balanchine’s Tarantella and an excerpt from Western Symphony, as well as Jerome Robbins’ I’m Old Fashioned. Tickets for the event started from $1,500, with premium seats costing $5,000.? That Ben Millepied dude is Natalie Portman?s boyfriend. I?m surprised she wasn?t there? or maybe she was, and there are just no photos of her? Or maybe they broke up? Who knows? Mm? more fashion porn, please.

Making sure to give her eldest child the proper attention he deserves now that the family has added adopted twins, Sarah Jessica Parker took James Wilkie out for a baseball game in the West Village of New York City on Saturday (October 2).
Hurriedly walking down the street, the mother/son duo chased down a taxi cab as they hopped in to be whisked away to their destination at the local ballpark.
And while she's always sure to make plenty of time for family, this coming Wednesday night (October 7) marks an important date on SJP's schedule.
The "Sex and the City" actress is newly elected to the New York City Ballet board of directors and will be the honorary chairman at an elegant supper ball on the Koch Theater promenade following the New York City Ballet's special one-time-only gala performance to celebrate its inaugural fall season at Lincoln Center.

The last time I checked in on Sarah Jessica Parker?s twin girls, one of them had an awesome (natural?) Mohawk. Well, it looks like little Tabitha and Marion finally have enough hair to properly style, so SJP took her girls out and about in NYC. Actually, the note on the photos says that they twins were going to a doctor?s appointment. How the paparazzi know these things, I?ll never know.
Anyway, I realize it?s a non-story, I just thought the twins were adorable. They look like Matthew, don’t they? Especially the one that SJP is holding. I still don?t know which is which, but I?m going to make a judgment call (out of thin air) and say that SJP is holding Marion, the grumpy brown-eyed one, and the nanny is holding Tabitha, the grumpy blue-eyed one. Those are the faces of two babies who are afraid of needles and are preparing for a hissy fit! I could be wrong, about all of that.
Oh, and I HATE SJP?s outfit. What happened to the fabulous Burberry? These jeans need to be sent back to middle school.

Getting an early start to the day, Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted tending to her motherly duties earlier today (September 28) in New York City.
With the help of a nanny, the ?Sex and the City? chick toted twin daughters Tabitha Hodge and Marion Loretta to a morning appointment.
Meanwhile, to split the parental duties, Parker?s hubby Matthew Broderick was spotted taking their son, James Wilkie, to school earlier today.
And, of what she loves doing the most, Sarah recently told press, ?I love just being with my family -- going to the grocery store, cooking dinner, putting my twins to bed, changing their diapers, getting my older son ready for school and packing his lunch. Staying home with my family and my husband is the thing I love most in the world.?

If I had the money, I would wear so much Burberry people would be begging me to stop. I love what Chritopher Bailey has done to the house of Burberry, and he?s my pick for one of the best designers working today. Anyway, since Sarah Jessica Parker was already in London for the big Alexander McQueen memorial - they scheduled it for London Fashion Week, after all - she also went to the Burberry show. These are photos of her arrival. I am absolutely sick with jealousy about this coat. I want it so badly I want to beat SJP with a Louboutin. I would wear the hell out of it. I would take this jacket behind the middle school and get it pregnant. SJP doesn?t need it! GIVE IT TO ME.
Alexa Cung was also at the Burberry show. Can someone explain to me why Alexa Chung is considered anything special? She?s like Olivia Munn to me, only where Olivia is only popular with dumb boys, Alexa seems to only appeal to women - fashionistas especially, who think she?s God?s gift. I think she?s cross-eyed, emaciated and looks like a vagabond. And not a fashion-forward vagabond either.

The ?Failure to Launch? actress looked to be enjoying herself as she meandered around London Fashion Week at the Chelsea College of Art and Design as the paparazzi looked on.
Yesterday (September 20) SJP was seen paying tribute to the late designer Alexander McQueen at St. Paul?s Cathedral.
Parker joined celebs like Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss. She told press, "He was one of a kind. The service was bitter-sweet. Perfect."
