Here are some new photos of Angelina Jolie and three of her kids. Let?s see who?ve got? Know Jolie-Pitt (with a new haircut!), Vivienne and Pax. There are some assorted bodyguards too, and it looks like they were just shopping for kids? stuff. I see a princess castle? balloon? Is that a balloon? Also, I just need to say something about little Knox ? he looks so adorable with that haircut, and I really think that kid?s becoming more of a ginger as he ages. I swear, he?s going to look like Michael Fassbender when he?s all grown up. Also: I love Knox?s ?Taco Tuesday? t-shirt. He?s so cute. All of the kids are, of course, but Knox always seems like a particularly chill little dude.
Angelina and the kids are still in Australia, where she?s filming Unbroken. She and the kids just relocated to Queensland, and Angelina plans to film there, using some of Queensland?s most famous locales. Unfortunately, some of the historical preservationists (and conservationists) have their panties in a twist about it:
OSCAR-winning actor Angelina Jolie has been accused of “disrespecting Queensland’s heritage”, amid fears the filming of her new movie will damage a national park. The Hollywood superstar and her entourage descended on Queensland last week to begin shooting her World War II drama Unbroken at some of the state’s most picturesque locations.
But while Queensland Arts Minister Ian Walker has branded her movie “a major coup”, Australia’s environmental action group Conservation Volunteers is not impressed.
The movie involves building a prisoner of war camp at the historic Fort Lytton National Park, on the southern bank of the Brisbane River, at Lytton. Wayne Cameron, chair of the group’s Brisbane catchment network, is concerned about the potential for damage.
“This is just another example of the State Government treating our national parks with a fair amount of disrespect,” he said. “I would like to have a word with the wonderful Angelina Jolie about her movie and tell her a few things about the environment and the heritage at Fort Lytton. The movie set sounds like it will create the potential for mess that we will have to go in and clear up, to say nothing for the impact it will have on native regeneration.”
Built in 1881, Fort Lytton was used for the defence of Brisbane until the end of World War II. The park is usually open for public visits but has been closed for filming until November 22. Executive co-ordinator at National Parks Association of Queensland, Paul Donatiu, said he also hoped Jolie and the film crew would treat the park with respect.
“They need to make sure they leave it as they found it, or preferably in a better condition,” he said.
On Saturday the Arts Minister would not comment when asked about potential damage to Fort Lytton. His spokeswoman said it was not “an issue” for the department because the Minister had “played no role in deciding” the film locations.
National Parks Minister Steve Dickson also declined to comment. Information on the Department of National Parks website reveals there is a sliding scale of fees applicable to commercial filming. Small operators least likely to damage the environment pay lower fees, while larger-scale productions pay higher fees.
Rob Allan, of the Government’s Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, said filming at Fort Lytton was “subject to strict conditions that protect the surrounding built and natural environment.”

I can understand how conservationists and preservationists would be worried about a film crew and the potential for damage, but it seems like they?re protesting too loudly when nothing has really happened yet. It?s not like Angelina is going to personally burn the place down. If there are already existing regulations about filming in the locations, then so be it. If it gets damaged, the studio will pay to have it fixed. And that?s the way the cookie crumbles. I remember that the French government wouldn?t let Steven Spielberg film in Normandy for Saving Private Ryan, and so he asked the British government to agree to filming in some of their protected locations, and they allowed him to come and film. Spielberg ended up bringing so many jobs and so much industry to England that the Queen gave him a knighthood and none of the locations got too banged up.
In other Villainess Jolie news, the UK papers claimed last week that Angelina was considering a massive offer to write a tell-all memoir. Allegedly, Angelina?s been offered $50 million for a tell-all book. But it?s probably BS. I think the UK papers are recycling some years-old tabloid reports.

Wow, this is a gorgeous photo. At first I thought this was Angelina Jolie with Jon Voight. But then I cleaned my glasses. This man is the real-life Louis Zamperini, who is 96 years old!! Zamperini?s story was told in Laura Hillenbrand?s Unbroken ? he was a bombardier during WWII, then a prisoner of war. He was also an Olympic runner and he?s an all-around amazing man. When Angelina and Louis met, he presented her with a gift: a gold necklace with a running shoe pendant. You guys? I?m totally crying right now. That?s so sweet.
Angelina Jolie met Louis Zamperini, the 96-year-old former Olympic runner and World War II prisoner of war, last winter when she signed on to direct Unbroken, based on Zamperini’s life.
The pair became fast friends.
“Angelina is a human dynamo, and I know she will tell this story in the right way,” said Zamperini, a bombardier who survived 47 days adrift in a lifeboat after a plane crash ? only to be taken prisoner by the Japanese. Author Laura Hillenbrand’s biography, Unbroken, became a bestseller in 2010.
For inspiration, Zamperini bestowed Jolie a gold pendant in the shape of a running shoe ? a prize from his running days ? which she plans to wear during filming, which kicks off later this month.
Jolie says she only hopes the movie does him justice.
?It will be hard to make a film worthy of this great man,? says Jolie, in a statement. ?I am deeply honored to have the chance and will do all I can to bring Louie?s inspiring story to life. ? Like all readers of Laura?s book and all people who love and admire Louie, I am a fan who has learned so much. He has made me a better person.?

Let me see if Angelina has been wearing the necklace while she?s in preproduction in Australia? in all of the photos from the past few months, she?s wearing necklaces but I think I only see one photoset (at LAX) where Angelina is wearing Louis?s special running shoe necklace. Which is still cool. I?m actually positive that the necklace will be something Angelina treasures for the rest of her life. Also: I love that Louis fan-girls Angelina!! I want to take him home with me and feed him. Also: Entertainment Weekly says that Louis lives in the Hollywood Hills, so he and Angelina are neighbors. Amazing.

Continuing the search for the perfect filming location, Angelina Jolie showed up on Kangaroo Island off the coast of Sydney, Australia on Thursday (October 3).
The ?Girl, Interrupted? actress wore a wide-brimmed black hat and all-black attire as she toured the grounds and engaged with fans.
Angelina will direct the forthcoming flick ?Unbroken? about Olympian who enlisted in the military only to be captured by enemy forces during World War II.
Meanwhile, Jolie has set tongues wagging with her rumored wedding ring, however neither she nor partner Brad Pitt have confirmed or denied that they had a secret ceremony.

Angelina Jolie has been pale for a while now. I remember, back in the day, when she used to have fake tans or real tans ? it was sort of the Lara Croft era of her career. To her credit, she was rarely orange ? her skin looked natural with a little bit of color. But somewhere along the line, she began to stay out of the sun and (I?m assuming) she began to wear sunscreen every day. The pale skin works on her, I think, and she really never looks washed out to me. But it?s been a while since she?s taken a job where she has to be outside a lot. And who knew that directing Unbroken would be that kind of job? Angelina is prepping Unbroken in Australia, known for its multitude of sun-kissed blondes. So what is a pale vamp like Angelina to do? Well, her solution is kind of weird:
?Angelina Jolie loves the feeling of a tanning bed and getting UV rays, but she?s terrified of skin cancer. So she lathers on SPF 30 sunscreen before getting in her bed,? a source tells Star. ?Brad thinks it?s hilarious ? he says there?s no point in using the bed if she?s going to put sunscreen on to slow down the tan. His newest nickname for her Tangelina.?
But stubborn Angie is devoted to her odd routine, which she thinks helps prepare her skin for the sun in Australia, where she?s directing Unbroken. ?She wants her skin to be adjusted in order to prevent burning,? explains the source. ?She?s convinced the tanning bed and SPF combo gives her a glow without the tan.?

You don?t get the Vitamin D when you wear sunscreen, correct? Well, you get some but it?s negligible. Anyway, I don?t believe this. Not because I think Angelina would never obsess over skin care and preparing her skin for the Australian sun ? although I do have my doubts about that ? it?s that I can?t see how she would have the time to care to this extent. She?s looking after all six kids while Brad is filming Fury. Plus, she?s still prepping Unbroken and scouting locations and hiring people. When does she have the time to slather on sunscreen and lay in a tanning bed? Plus, she?s just as pale as usual. Vampire!
And ?Tangelina?? RLY? That sounds like the nickname we should use for Pippa Middleton.

Apparently, there is a new ?It Bag? and it?s not Hermes, nor Marc Jacobs, nor Tom Ford. This year?s It Bag is a $4700 Louis Vuitton, marketed in print ads by Michelle Williams and carried prominently by Angelina Jolie. Can you smell the exclusivity? Even though I would never spend more than $100 on a bag (and even then, it would have to be a special occasion because I?m cheap as hell), I admit that I?ve been skewed by celebrity prices and I didn?t even blanche when I saw that this purse costs $4700. Hey, at least it?s not a $17,000 fug fur Olsen bag.
Against a tide of fakes flooding the market and to avoid being seen on the arm of anyone less than an A-list celebrity, Louis Vuitton have this year made a concerted effort to return to their roots as an exclusive designer brand. And it seems their plan is working as their pricey new Capucine leather handbags are currently the must-have item in their stores across Europe.
Louis Vuitton boutiques in Milan, Paris and London have all reported shortages of the 3,000 Capucine bags since their launch in June. Each store has long waiting lists for the leather bag that comes in a variety of colours and features the designer’s LV initials and monogram flower logo.
At the time of writing, London’s New Bond Street store only had one sample bag with a ‘not for sale’ sticker on and 40 people had already reserved one. But the bags aren’t likely to be available until the end of September or early in October.
Shop assistants said they took delivery of only a handful of Capucine bags every other week over the summer, intimating Louis Vuitton may have deliberately caused the shortage to create a buzz around the product – taking a leaf out of Hermes’ book.
Officially citing production constraints, Hermes is known in the luxury world for its shortages and waiting lists, particularly for its 6,000 to 25,000 Birkin and Kelly bags, which help strengthen the brand’s appeal.
Buzz around the Capucine handbag has also been created after it was seen on the arm of Angelina Jolie last month in L.A. Meanwhile, another A-lister, Michelle Williams, was enlisted to be the face of the campaign to launch the bag.

We can roll our eyes at the marketing of forced exclusivity by these ?shortages? but it probably is a good idea. The real fashionistas will wait and wait for them while the fly-by-night famewhores, C-listers and Real Housewives will still trot out their Birkin bags. But the biggest shock to me is that Angelina Jolie is ahead of the curve! She?s never really shown any interest in having the hottest new look or the coolest It Bag. La Jolie does not follow trends! Which makes me think that part of HER Louis Vuitton contract includes simply being sent the latest LV products and she just took a liking to the bag. Or is she really trying to be trendy?

Here are some new photos of Angelina Jolie and her two youngest daughters, Shiloh and Vivienne, out and about in Sydney, Australia over the weekend. Angelina and her girls were seen shopping at a local arts & crafts store, although it doesn?t look like they bought much. I suspect that the crafts were for Vivienne, considering she?s the one carrying an adorable little basket.
Again, I have to give props to Angelina (and Brad, although he?s never praised or criticized for how his children dress) for letting her kids dress like kids. Shiloh is starting to look rangy, like her dad, and I?m assuming she dresses herself, in her own little tomboy ensembles. I love her Awesome Possum t-shirt and her Chucks. As for Vivienne, clearly she is the girly-girl who loves everything Pink and floral. I wonder which is funnier to Angelina, the fact that one of her girls is a total tomboy who hates dresses, or the fact that one of her girls is so girly and frilly? Anyway, I think Viv?s leggings-and-dress ensemble is adorable. I wonder if Zahara helps her pick out clothes.
By the way, someone asked Angelina?s second ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton about the announcement that Angelina will receive an Oscar for her humanitarian work. BBT said: ?I am absolutely proud. No one deserves it more, when you put your life out there like she has it is humbling for the rest of us. This is someone who can just go along and be a star, but instead she really puts herself out there for people, and no one deserves it more.? That?s nice.

Taking some time out for just the girls, Angelina Jolie took her daughters to the Plaster Painting Studio at Fox Entertainment Quarter in Sydney, Australia on Sunday (September 15).
The "Tomb Raider" star was dressed in all black while Vivienne donned a cute floral dress and black cardigan and her big sister Shiloh wore a white T-shirt, gray pants, and a baseball cap.
Recently, the 38-year-old actress received some kind words from an unlikely source, her ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton.
Speaking about her announced Oscar for her humanitarian work, Billy Bob told Fox News, "I am absolutely proud. No one deserves it more, when you put your life out there like she has it is humbling for the rest of us. This is someone who can just go along and be a star, but instead she really puts herself out there for people, and no one deserves it more."

She?s been spending a ton of time in the air as of late, and earlier today (September 12) Angelina Jolie caught yet another flight in Australia.
Joined by her children Pax and Shiloh, the ?Changeling? actress exited the exclusive Qantas Chairman?s Lounge at Sydney International Airport to board a plane bound for Brisbane.
Jolie has been gearing up to film her new movie ?Unbroken? in the land down under, and she just put out the call for ?very skinny? Aussie men to be extras in the flick.
The casting request from Crme Management in Queensland states, "Angelina Jolie film seeking background extras, males 17-50 years, very skinny Caucasian males that can portray a Prisoner of War in a detention camp in World War Two."

Looking to pick the perfect location for her next film, Angelina Jolie continued her tour of Australia on Wednesday (September 11).
The "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" actress showed off some fresh ink on her forearm as she made her way across the tarmac after landing at Sydney Airport.
While Angie is busy scouting out spots for "Unbroken" with her brood, her partner Brad Pitt is on the set of "Fury," where he showed off his newly cut locks.
Brad is set to play Wardaddy in the flick about a crew of Americans in Nazi Germany toward the end of World War II embark on a brave mission.

Taking some time away from her busy schedule, Angelina Jolie treated her kids to a few games of bowling in Sydney, Australia on Tuesday afternoon (September 10).
The ?Girl Interrupted? gal showed off her new Arabic tattoo on her arm as she led Pax, Maddox, Shiloh, Zahara, Vivienne, and Knox to Strike Bowling Centre in the Moore Park Entertainment District.
Ms. Jolie took her brood of children down to Australia to keep them close while she spends the upcoming months directing a new movie called ?Unbroken.?
According to the synopsis, ?Unbroken? tells the true story of an Olympic runner and Air Force second lieutenant named Louis Zamperini who survived being stranded in the Pacific Ocean for 47 days during World War II.
