Mariah Carey went on Oprah last week to hawk her new crappy album, and of course she dragged along her little kiss-ass husband Nick Cannon on the stage so they could prove their love to the masses before his back gave out. The Daily Mail says
They shared an exaggerated smooch as Nick bent her over, before an uncomfortable looking Mariah stopped him, saying: ‘Don’t drop me!’
Hey, that picture reminds me of this joke I once heard: How fat is Mariah Carey? Mariah Carey’s so fat, she fell in love — and it broke. Ha ha! Of course, when I first heard the joke, it was actually about yo momma. Try not to take it so personally.

She’s always a treat to hear live, and earlier today (September 18) Mariah Carey gave a killer performance on “The Oprah Winfrey Show.”
Joined by hubby Nick Cannon, the “Always Be My Baby” songstress took the Central Park, NYC stage to promote her upcoming album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, which hits stores and online retailers September 29th.
This past weekend, Mariah was up in Canada promoting her new film “Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire” as part of the Toronto International Film Festival.
Ms. Carey and Oprah worked together on the film, as Mariah starred while Oprah executive produced. Sounds like these two are quite a team.

Heading up north for promotional obligations, Mariah Carey was front and center at the “Precious: Based On The Novel ‘Push’ By Sapphire” press conference at the Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto on Sunday (September 13).
As part of the Toronto International Film Festival, the Grammy winning singer was joined by executive producer Oprah Winfrey, as well as singer Mary J. Blige for the day’s duties.
Keeping herself busy as of late, Miss Carey recently announced that she will be performing live on Oprah’s show with an air date set for Friday, September 18th.
Aside from her film endeavors, Mimi also is readying to release her new album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, which is set for a September 29th release.

Treating themselves to a lovely dinner date, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were spotted at Mr. Chow restaurant in Beverly Hills last night (September 2).
The “Touch My Body” songstress and her hunky hubby looked loved up as they arrived through the front door. But as they made their exit, they elected the rear entrance to try and avoid shutterbugs.
And it looks like Ms. Carey may have indulged a bit too much in the alcoholic libations as she appeared to be a bit tipsy as she made her way to the car.
In a recent interview, Mariah denied that she’s ever been a diva, especially since getting married. “I’ve always been the same way. I don’t think I ever was wild or anything. If it makes people happy to say that I was then so be it. I’m married now and happier than ever but still I’m the same normal girl I have always been.”

Even though the "Obsessed" single is still flirting with the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 (it currently sits at number 14), Mariah Carey is already prepping the next single in the lead-up to the September 29 release of her 12th studio album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel. The song is a cover of Foreigner's signature ballad "I Want to Know What Love Is," which originally appeared on their 1984 album Agent Provocateur. A rep for the singer said "I Want to Know What Love Is" will hit radio soon but did not specify a date.
Oddly, the report that announced the single — which Carey later posted to her official Web site
and her Twitter account — refers to "I Want to Know What Love Is" as the first "real" single from the album. However, Carey's rep clarified that "Obsessed" is indeed the album's first single.
Despite the buzz surrounding the single's release, the high-profile video,
the controversy surrounding her and husband Nick Cannon's feud with Eminem and a performance on Cannon's show "America's Got Talent," "Obsessed" has peaked at #11 on the Billboard Hot 100 thus far. According to Nielsen SoundScan, which tracks sales of albums and singles, "Obsessed" has sold 383,000 downloads in five weeks, a respectable number but not quite up to Carey's past success (comparatively speaking, last year's "Touch My Body" moved nearly 300,000 downloads in its first seven days).
Still, "Obsessed" is Carey's 40th charting single — tying her with Diana Ross for the eighth most of all time among female artists — and anticipation remains high for Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, which is now slated for a September 29 release and features production by The-Dream, Timbaland and Jermaine Dupri.
