Continuing her holiday in Aspen, Colorado, Mariah Carey was spotted out and about yesterday doing some last-minute shopping with her pooch pal.
The “Always Be My Baby” songstress made the most of her celebrity status, stopping into the Gucci boutique and Ralph Lauren store sporting an unmistakable red winter coat and matching fluffy red boots as she chatted on her mobile phone.

Decked out in color-coordinated outfits, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were spotted enjoying their romantic Colorado getaway on Tuesday (December 23).
The lovely pair snuggled as they explored the Aspen winter paradise with their pet pooch during a visit to Mariah’s favorite jewelry store.

Mariah Carey is really working the ?maybe I?m pregnant ? just keep wondering? angle. She has yet to confirm a thing, but has managed to do a lot of interviews lately (keeps people talking), and conveniently walk out of a prominent ob/gyn?s office holding a piece of paper that looked like a sonogram.
It certainly can?t be accidental, since Mariah knows she?s photographed all the time and everyone?s wondering about a possible bun in the oven. Obviously she wants the attention. So just to make Mariah as happy as I can, here?s a little more gossip to throw out: she?s canceled her tour, which just increases the speculation that she?s pregnant. It was also a really bitchy thing to do, because now there?s a bunch of people without jobs right before the holidays.
Mariah Carey’s pregnancy rumors refuse to go away as she has reportedly scrapped plans for a forthcoming tour to prepare for her first child.
Carey has been dogged by speculation she is expecting since marrying Nick Cannon earlier this year, but she frequently refuses to confirm the reports.
And the rumors were fueled after insiders told the New York Daily News that the star had pulled all plans for an upcoming string of concerts because she is pregnant.
A source tells the publication, “Costume designers and dancers were all called Wednesday and told the tour is off.
“Most were hysterically crying because they were relying on her for a paycheck this holiday season.”
However, a representative for Carey refutes the claims: “I have not been told she’s pregnant.”

If she is pregnant, there will be a lot less people who?ll be happy for Mariah considering her poor timing. Some people are also commenting that they don?t think she ever had serious intentions of doing a tour ? it was probably just to drum up more publicity. I?ve really started to think that the celebs who refuse to confirm their pregnancies are just the ones that want the most attention. And Mariah putting a bunch of people out of work is really the only way I can imagine to be more obnoxious about it.

Enjoying New York City’s holiday cheer, Mariah Carey was spotted at CBS Studios for her appearance on “The Early Show” this morning (December 12).
The “Always Be My Baby” songstress was more than happy to work with Macy’s “Believe” Campaign and the Make-A-Wish Foundation by meeting with a very special fan who was showered with gifts.

I dare you to think of something that you care about less than the following statement: Mariah Carey might really be pregnant. Science says it can’t be done! Page Six says
Spies in LA saw the songbird coming out of a well-known ob/gyn’s office “clutching what looked like a sonogram and being greeted by her entourage with cheers. She was ebullient.” It was the same type of paper that Minnie Driver was holding when she found out she was pregnant at the same doctor’s office. A rep said, “As far as I’m told it’s not true.”
I don’t know if I trust this “source.” Who among Mariah’s circle uses the word “ebullient” in everyday conversation? None of her former collaborators, that’s for sure. If they had said something like “Skeet skeet skeet biyatch” or “Aww, he supersoaked dat ho!” I might believe it. As it stands, though, I don’t buy it one bit.

Nick Cannon may have sunk his pubescent claws even deeper into Mariah Carey. Page Six reports today that she was seen in LA coming out of an ob/gyn’s office “clutching what looked like a sonogram and being greeted by her entourage with cheers. She was ebullient.” A rep said Mariah never tells him anything and then stomped out of the room. When Nick Cannon was asked about the pregnancy, his eyes turned into dollar signs and an audible “cha-ching” was heard. Hmm, odd.

Is she or isn’t she? The logical response to that question when regarding Mariah Carey and pregnancy should be, “Dear God, no.” But the diva herself has been very dodgy regarding this question, even when asked point blank by talk show host Ellen Degeneres a couple of weeks ago. Now, Page Six is reporting that the singer was seen coming out of a medical building clutching a sonogram printout, celebrating with her entourage/hangers-on. Is it true?

Oh, those poor PR reps - they’re always the last to know. But notice that’s not a total denial. “As far as I’m told,” the rep said. Something tells me this poor clown isn’t told too much. Mimi makes her staff operate on a strictly “need to know” basis, I bet. If Mariah is pregnant, she will most likely announce it in grand style - maybe a huge press conference outside the Hello Kitty store or something. In a bikini.

The 2009 Grammy Nominations were announced last night via a first-ever televised primetime concert with Christina Aguilera, John Mayer and Mariah Carey. The show also marked the grand opening of the new Grammy Museum, which officially opens to the public this weekend. People Magazine says
The event was cohosted by Taylor Swift and LL Cool J. Jay-Z, Ne-Yo and Kanye West were other top Grammy nominees ? each with six nods. Radiohead was nominated for five awards, as were Robert Plant and Alison Krauss.
Album of the year contenders included Coldplay (Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends); rapper Lil Wayne (Tha Carter III); Robert Plant & Alison Krauss (Raising Sand); R&B singer Ne-Yo (Year of the Gentleman); and British alt-rock heroes Radiohead (In Rainbows). Pop-rock trio the Jonas Brothers led the list of best new artist nominees, along with British soul singers Adele and Duffy.
CBS will broadcast the 51st Grammy Awards live from Los Angeles’s Staples Center on Feb. 8.
In what bizarre world is Radiohead pitted against the likes of L’il Wayne and Ne-Yo? That’s like comparing the proverbial apples and oranges. Critically acclaimed, actual instrument-playing apples and spoken-word-over-tracks-they’ve-lifted-from-other-more-talented-apples’-songs oranges. It’s not even fair. Perhaps next year they can create a category for “best crotch grab” and “most convincing slouch-and-squat in front of a bunch of chicks in bikinis’ asses” category. That way, the rappers won’t feel left out.

Nick Cannon is reinventing the art of being a gentleman - last night he personally showed up to pick up his wife Mariah Carey after she was done having dinner with a guy friend.
The actor/director donned a black pinstripe suit and tie and took a limousine over to Beverly Hills eatery Mr. Chow to give the “Touch My Body” singer a ride home- what a guy!
