I think Radar must have a source behind the counter at the Hollywood CVS, the one that every celebrity uses to buy their home pregnancy tests, because Radar has another ?exclusive? pregnancy story. This time, they?re got it ?confirmed? from an unnamed source that Mariah Carey is expecting her first child. The secondary confirmation Radar seems to using is a cryptic non-denial from Mariah?s rep. Honestly, if Mariah wasn?t pregnant, I think her rep would probably say it, so the fact that she won?t does lend some credibility. But this report does stink:
The is-she or isn’t-she speculation is over. RadarOnline.com can exclusively confirm Mariah Carey is pregnant! The 40-year-old pop diva recently dropped out of her next film gig — a role in Tyler Perry’s For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf — fueling rumors that she’s pregnant.
Now a source close to Mariah and husband Nick Cannon tells RadarOnline.com the couple — who renewed their vows to celebrate their second anniversary in May — are at last with their first child.
?They?re both very excited and very happy,? dished our insider.
When contacted, Mariah?s longtime rep Cindi Berger gave RadarOnline.com a rather cryptic comment.
?I?m not at liberty to discuss Mariah?s personal life at this time,? the publicist told RadarOnline.com, a statement that did not outwardly deny the pregnancy.
Said our insider: ?Mariah and Nick want to keep the pregnancy quiet as long as they can.”
Which could explain why Mariah never got out of her Rolls Royce convertible during a road trip with Nick along the Malibu coastline on Saturday. She was hiding a baby bump!
Mariah and Nick got married in 2008, after knowing each other only six weeks, at the songstress? private island in the Bahamas. The two have been inseparable ever since, with this pregnancy now solidifying their rock solid relationship.
Speculation has run rampant about the impending baby since Mariah was spotted with Nick outside an Los Angeles medical clinic in May. Some had suggested the Hero singer had begun hormone enhancement therapy; a possible explanation for a noticeable sudden weight gain. Hormone supplements increase one?s chances of pregnancy and are often linked to in-vitro-fertilization.
Mariah and Nick, who have both talked about wanting to start a family, have neither confirmed or denied the pregnancy talk. But both have hinted, previously, they could soon become parents.
At the Independent Spirit Awards in March, Mariah told the crowd: ?Something else very special is on the way!?
Last week, Nick joked he too had a big announcement to make.
?I do want to make a big announcement right here on Daily 10,? he said, ?my Jack Russell terrier puppy Cha Cha is pregnant again!?
However, behind the jokes, is a beautiful silver lining. Industry figures had suggested Mariah?s decision to drop out of Perry?s movie was a lost opportunity, given she would have worked alongside Whoopi Goldberg and Janet Jackson. Filming was set to start this month. Instead, Mariah is taking on an even greater role: motherhood!

It would certainly explain why she dropped out of that movie, it would explain her weight gain, and it would explain why she?s always photographed coming out of medical buildings. But I?m waiting for Mariah to grace us with the happy news. And you know she wants to - she wants to sing about it. She wants to celebrate with us, meaning she will allow us to watch her celebrate. She was all set to star in the new Tyler Perry flick ?For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf,? but then Mariah Carey dropped out at the last minute.
The ?Touch My Body? babe has sparked pregnancy rumors with the sudden move, something she and husband Nick Cannon have been hoping for since they got married.
Carey?s rep told press, "She is not doing the movie because her doctor advised her not to. More than that I cannot comment further."
Cannon also planted the pregnancy bug when he talked to the press recently. "Her schedule is starting to calm down, you never know...In the next year or two, the rumors might come true."

I know everyone has probably seen these photos of Mariah Carey and Nick ?Not Good Enough to Hold The Purse? Cannon leaving a medical center in LA yesterday. Dlisted already took the perspective of ?WTF is Mimi wearing?? while Bossip asked my favorite question of the week ?Why The Fu*k Is Mariah Carey Always Seen Leaving A Medical Building???? Basically, there?s all kinds of wrong happening in MariahWorld.
I have to say, it was the fashion aspect that attracted me to these photos. Mariah?s rocking the kind of Walmart-fabulous ensemble that would give Karl Lagerfeld a heart attack. Why would you pair low-key sweats with clunky heels? Does Mariah not know how to walk if she?s not wearing heels? Answer: Trick question, she barely knows how to walk, period. She?s carried everywhere. Another question: Why are the sweatpants cut like that? It makes her hips and thighs look even bulkier than they already are - and we already now Mariah has gained some ?happily married? weight. Mariah is starting to remind me of Edina Monsoon in Absolutely Fabulous. ?Thin ankles, darling, thin ankles!?
I won?t even get into how dumb Nick looks. This is the first time I?ve looked at photos of them and thought ?mother and son?. He looks a 12-year-old kid about to start whining to his mom that he wants to play ball with his boys.

Every good chola knows that nothing goes with capri-length sweats like a pair of four-inch platform stilettos. Mariah might not have a rose tattoo or any visible knifing scars, but she more than makes up for it with the diamond pacifier on a chain and the massive camel toe. Stepping out for an evening of sport, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were spotted at the Mayweather vs. Mosley fight in Las Vegas on Saturday (May 1).
The ?Touch My Body? babe and her handsome hubby looked to be having a great time as they enjoyed their primo seats.
The day before, Mariah and Nick held their third wedding ceremony so far, renewing their vows at their Beverly Hills home.
Celebrating their second wedding anniversary, Cannon told press, "We get married every year! That's our thing. [This one will] be more traditional...The last two weddings we had were kind of island-driven and off in remote places. This time we're going to do it home."
He added, "I have to do it every single year. If you were married to Mariah Carey, you'd want to marry her every year too! I just have to keep doing it to make sure it's real."

Getting all glammed up for a public appearance, Mariah Carey made her way to the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers in New York City on Thursday night (April 15).
Clad in a sexy little black dress, the Grammy winning singer was on-hand for the 12th Annual Keepers of the Dream Awards, which "recognizes exemplary displays of committed service to the tenets of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the ultimate dreamer."
Aside from her Dream Keeper outing, Miss Carey has reportedly signed on to star alongside Janet Jackson, Whoopi Goldberg, Jurnee Smollett, Kimberly Elise, Kerry Washington, Phylicia Rashad, Anika Noni Rose and Loretta Devine in Tyler Perry's new movie.
According to Mr Perry, the film will be shot in New York City this summer for an expected release in late 2010 or early 2011.
As for the new flick, it's an adaptation of a play by Ntozake Shange written in 1975, with Tyler telling press, "Making a film of four colored girls who have considered suicide when the rainbow is enough is a dream come true for me."

Mariah Carey’s representative has slammed reports that she is expecting her first child with husband Nick Cannon.The 39-year-old singer and actress sparked pregnancy rumors when she told reporters that she has something special up her sleeve, but refused to disclose any further.“I have a lot of new acting projects coming up… But there’s also something else very special on the way. I can’t say any more,” said Carey.Carey then added more fuel to the rumors when she reportedly refused to drink at an after-party.But a spokesperson for the star has quickly dismissed the speculation, telling GossipCop that there is “no truth” to the pregnancy reports.

Mariah Carey and her bulging Valentino dress intimated that she might be pregnant during an interview at last night’s Academy Awards. The Daily Mail says
To the glitz and glamour of the Oscars red carpet last night, Mariah Carey added a touch of intrigue by hinting that she was pregnant.
Looking radiant, the 39-year-old told reporters that ?something special? was about to happen but refused to elaborate further.
We don’t necessarily know that she’s referring to a pregnancy here. That “something special” that’s “about to happen” could just be that an entire triple-layer cheesecake is about to drop into her lower intestine, giving her enough room to down another couple of plates at the Oscar buffet. I don’t want to go putting words in her mouth here. Mostly because she would probably try and eat them.
