How are we feeling about Josh Duhamel these days? Like he?s one of the lucky bastards whose wife ?forgave? him for his affair with a $10 stripper? That Fergie should have kicked him to the curb for his epic, pr0n-filled seduction? Yeah, that?s how I feel. But Fergie forgave him and they renewed their vows and so everything is okay, right? And so no one even has to ask Josh about the stripper, right? Why would we need that? Thus, Josh Duhamel?s interview in Parade Magazine this week. There are only quotes about how he fell in love with Fergie and how he ?stalked? her. What a prize! Although I do think the Parade interviewer came close to asking about the stripper with the subheadline ?Acting advice from a pro?.
At least we think he’s kidding.
“The joke in When in Rome is that all these guys are stalking Kristen Bell’s character because she grabbed the coins they threw into a fountain in Rome. I could relate. That’s how I got my wife. I literally stalked her for weeks until she said yes. They say it’s not stalking if she says yes.”
But seriously, did he and Fergie have instant chemistry?
“I’m not a huge believer in love at first sight, but I think that when it is right, often it’s somebody that you had that feeling about when you first met them. I think anytime you get into a relationship, you think ‘This is the one.’ But it’s good to wait it out, dig a little bit deeper, and over time you find out if you’re with the person that’s right, the one you really love.”
Playing the romantic leading man.
“I’ll tell you the truth: More than the good-looking guy, I had to be the straight man. They decided it would be funny if I took some pratfalls and bumped into things. You see me doing a lot of that in the movie.”
And let’s not forget his big stunt.
“When I was doing Transformers, Michael Bay, the director, was like ‘Good God, Duhamel, do I need to get you some macho juice or something? I’m trying to make you look cool here.’ So, now, maybe that’s why I try to do my own stunts. There was a scene in When in Rome where I was supposed to run into this car. On the first take, I literally went right over the car and fell on my neck. They almost stopped it right there. On the take that they used I actually broke the windshield. That was really me, folks, not some stunt guy.”
Acting advice from a pro.
“I did a scene in Las Vegas where I had to kick the crap out of this guy. So I went to Jimmy Caan, who was playing my dad, and said, ‘Do you have any suggestions?’ He went into this whole thing like, ‘Don’t be afraid to just kick him below the belt. This is the guy who killed your best friend, so don’t be afraid to punch him, choke him, do whatever you have to do.’ I said, ‘So should I take a garbage can lid and beat him over the head with it?’ He goes, ‘Yeah, if you can find one.’”
Playing the fame game.
“There’s a lot more focus on celebrities and it takes an incredible amount of moral strength to persevere through all the attention. There’s a few stars I kind of aspire to be like. Tom Hanks, for instance, is somebody who’s really been able to stand his ground. And Paul Newman was a guy who was married since he was in his 20s. And, of course, there’s Jimmy Stewart. Those are stars that have been able to sort of be professionally successful and still maintain their private lives.”
His game plan.
“It sounds cliche to say, but I just try to stay exactly who I am. If you don’t try to pretend and you don’t try to please everybody and say exactly what you’re thinking — as long as it isn’t too offensive — you’ll be fine. If they don’t like you, it’s not your fault. At least you weren’t pretending to be something different.”

Before the cheating scandal, I used to think Duhamel was a pretty inoffensive, unobtrusive guy. Maybe that?s what he?s trying to get back to. I?m not sure how claiming to be a stalker helps, but maybe he?s trying to convince us that he really does love Fergie?? Maybe? I do know that being game enough to wear a pretty tiara certainly helps. Maybe I see why Fergie forgave him.

Gearing up for a cross-country flight, Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson was spotted leaving the Ritz Hotel in Midtown Manhattan and heading to JFK International Airport today (January 26).
Joined by husband Josh Duhamel, the “Big Girls Don’t Cry” songstress will be arriving in Park City, Utah to check out all the action at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival later tonight.
Josh and Fergie will only have a short time to spend at Sundance, though, as Duhamel has to be back in the Big Apple for the premiere of his film “When in Rome.”
He explained, “She’s going with me to Utah for Sundance and then we are going to fly back for the premiere of ‘When In Rome.’”

Stepping out for a promotional appearance, Josh Duhamel was spotted at ABC Studios in New York City earlier today (January 26).
The “Romantics” stud looked to be having a marvelous time as he gave an interview on “Good Morning America,” sporting a tiara while chatting with some beauty queens in the studio audience.
Josh was in the house to promote his new film “When in Rome,” set to hit theaters nationwide this Friday, January 29th.
Also starring Kristen Bell, “When in Rome” is about a twentysomething single woman who finds herself as the object of many a man’s affection after taking coins out of a Roman fountain.

Fergie and Josh Duhamel have renewed their wedding vows in a private ceremony at a resort near Santa Barbara. A source told Radar Online that the two had an emotion-filled exchange in front of a minister on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Fergie of course stood by her man after the mini-scandal over his potential infidelity with a stripper in Atlanta, Georgia. It looks like they’ve taken steps to recommit to their relationship. US Weekly has the detail that it all was a surprise to Fergie, and that Josh whisked her away and back in a private helicopter.
The pair flew by private helicopter into the Santa Barbara Airport Wednesday, January 6 at just before 4 pm. They were met by a limo from the Bacara Resort which swept them to the lavish hotel 20 minutes away.
“They were both dressed nicely and walked right out to the bluff outside the hotel where weddings often take place,” an eyewitness told RadarOnline.com. “A minister was waiting for them.
“Fergie was crying and seemed very emotional,” the source said, adding that their private ceremony lasted less than 15 minutes.
As the sun went down the couple went into Bacara’s formal Miro restaurant where they were able to eat alone because it was before the restaurant had opened for the evening.
“They had the whole restaurant to themselves and left before the first customers came in,” the source said.
Hand-in-hand, Josh and Fergie left the hotel as quietly as they arrived, and returned to the airport for their trip back to Los Angeles.

The question is, did Fergie believe that Josh cheated? Is she forgiving him or just trusting his lies/side of the story? I saw the stripper’s interview on a Georgia radio station and I found her entirely believable. It’s possible she was out for the money, but I bought her story and she passed a polygraph with The Enquirer. According to how she told it she wasn’t going to come out with the news until the Enquirer told her they would publish it anyway. She said Josh approached her while she was working and that they spent the night together in a nearby hotel. She didn’t know who he was at first but then one of her coworkers clued her in. Josh allegedly “wanted sex for four or five hours” and watched porn in the room all night.
These two have chosen to forgive their issues and reconnect, but how long will it be until Josh strays again? Is the old saying “once a cheater…” true? I’ve always assumed that it was. If your man was cheating, would you forgive him? Would it make a difference if it was a pro like a hooker or a stripper or if it was a long term relationship on the side? Either one is a massive betrayal, but some women chose to accept it and move on.

Celebrating their one-year wedding anniversary, Fergie and Josh Duhamel renewed their marital vows in a private ceremony outside of Santa Barbara, CA.
The “I Gotta Feeling” songstress and her “Transformers” actor hubby tied the knot last year on January 10 in Malibu, where friends and family gathered to witness the couple’s nuptials.
Radar Online is reporting that Fergie and Josh flew by helicopter into the Santa Barbara Airport on Wednesday (January 6) and were met there by a limo, which took them to the lavish Bacrara Hotel.
According to a source, “Fergie was crying and seemed very emotional.” The insider added that their private ceremony lasted less than 15 minutes.

Ready for a day of football fun, Fergie was spotted passing through the Orange Carpet at the Land Shark Stadium in Miami, Florida on Sunday afternoon (January 3).
There alongside her two main men, husband Josh Duhamel and her dad, the Black Eyed Peas frontwoman tossed on a #39 Larry Csonka throwback jersey before taking a prime seat to watch the hometown team against t take on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Having flown into Miami the previous day after celebrating New Year’s in Las Vegas, Fergie was chosen to sing happy birthday to celebrate football legend Don Shula’s 80th birthday.
The Miami Dolphins threw a party for the former coach last night, as he led them to the only perfect season in NFL history and won 347 games, a league record many consider unbreakable.

Taking all the necessary steps to keep his fit physique in top notch form, Josh Duhamel was spotted getting a jump on the Christmas dinner calories in Brentwood on Thursday (December 24).
The “Transformers” hunk joined his personal trainer for an intense jogging session, showing off his Minnesota Vikings pride as he worked up a sweat during the day’s workout.
Meanwhile, Mr Duhamel was quite excited about being home with wife Fergie over the Christmas holidays after the two spent much of their time apart due to busy work schedules.
He told press, “This Christmas I get to go home and we get to have a lot of time together so that’s nice. It’s my favorite time and she is everything to me. I can’t wait.”

Enjoying their time on the east coast, Fergie and hubby Josh Duhamel were spotted visiting the fashionable SoHo district in New York City on Wednesday (December 16).
Fresh off of attending the premiere of “Nine” the previous evening, the happy twosome ended up picking up some Christmas gifts at a local store during the day’s retail session.
As for her new movie, Fergie chatted with press about her distinct singing style throughout the film.
She tells, “It’s very robust, almost man-like, very strong. A lot of songs I’ve done before haven’t called for that, and this brought that out in me. I remember, the first time I was on set, the first person I met was Daniel [Day-Lewis], and within fifteen minutes, I was standing at a piano where I had to belt out the song in front of him. I’d go back to my dressing room, and I’d find these little notes of encouragement and support; he’d written them to me as Guido. Like, “Great job! Love, Guido.” They were so cute and charming. But it really did encourage me. Singing like that was an evolution for me, and I’m sure it will carry over to my other work. I can’t wait to do this song live.”

Looking for that all-important holiday accessory, Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson and her husband Josh Duhamel were spotted Christmas Tree shopping last night (December 10).
The “My Humps” songstress and her “Transformers” hubby looked to be in the holiday spirit as they perused a Santa Monica tree lot as the paparazzi looked on.
The night before, Fergie and Josh were spotted at the Hollywood premiere of her new film “Nine,” along with costars Penelope Cruz and Nicole Kidman.
Of the experience of working on the film with such major Hollywood stars, Fergie revealed, “I have to say that it was very intimidating flying there, going to my dressing room and going to the set – but once I got there everyone was so normal and down to earth that it was cool. The ice was broken. When I walked in it was basically me and Daniel-Day Lewis and … I’m having to be at the piano, singing ‘Be Italian’ in full voice in front of him and about a hundred other people. I had to get over it real quickly!”

Reunited back home on the west coast, Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel were spotted out for a jogging session around their neighborhood in Los Angeles on Wednesday (December 9).
The “Don’t Phunk With My Heart” singer looked fit and fine in a shirt with the phrase “We Like Electro We Like Hip Hop” along with a Los Angeles Lakers hat as her “Transformers” hubby seemed to be doing his best just to keep up with her high-energy pace.
The sighting comes after the couple spent some time apart as of late - with Josh having been busy filming a new movie while Fergie traveled the world with her band, the Black Eyed Peas.
But it sounds as if the cute couple, who recently overcame affair rumors, will be sharing a romantic Christmas season together.
Of the plans, Josh told Extra of the wintertime holiday, “"I’m just gonna spend it with my wife and her family this year.”
