There are a few stories about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West today. First of all, their longtime bodyguard Pascal Duvier is no longer working for them. Pascal was the bodyguard who was looking after Kourtney at a Paris club at the same time that Kim was being robbed. While some said that Pascal should be fired, sources always insisted that Kim adored Pascal and she didn?t blame him for what happened. Still, Pascal seems to have fallen on his sword a bit ? he resigned and asked for a reassignment, and Kim and Kanye are now going with a different security team.
Next up: Kanye West is bad with money. I think we all knew this? Like, if I was in Kanye?s position, I would just let Kim handle everything regarding the finances, because I suspect that Kim is very good with money (she?s like her mother). So Kim is apparently pissed off that Kanye keeps buying crazy-stupid-expensive furniture? that they don?t even use.
Kanye West has no patience for fashion or interior designers. We?re told he has thrown out all the expensive furniture handpicked for his new home with Kim Kardashian by celebrity interior designer Sandy Gallin. West hired powerful talent manager-turned-designer to the stars Gallin to decorate their Calabasas, Calif., home and ?spent nearly all of his money? on furniture ? including a one-off $30,000 couch ? and then decided he hated it all.
A source told us, ?Kanye walked into the house, decided he hated all the furniture brought in by Gallin, and demanded it be returned to the vendors. But they refused to take it back, so he took it all out and threw it into storage. He then spent a fortune on a new set of furniture.? West has since hired Axel Vervoordt to spruce up their home, but Kardashian is growing impatient. ?Kanye spends so much money and he?s holding everything up. The house still isn?t ready. Kim just wants to be settled at home, especially after everything that happened in Paris,? the source added.
And his abrasive manner isn?t winning him friends in the fashion world. Despite constantly trying to infiltrate fashion circles, insiders tell Page Six he is persona non grata.
?He?s a wreck! Everyone in the fashion business thinks he?s crazy. He?ll start taking advice from someone successful, stop listening 15 minutes later, and then move on to someone else. He constantly fights with everyone. He?s even fighting with Adidas,? an insider told us. A source close to the rapper insists he?s adored by the trendsetters who matter. ?To say the fashion industry hates him is totally false. His friends in fashion include the most influential powerful people in the business. Anna [Wintour], Carine [Roitfeld], Demna [Gvasalia], Riccardo [Tisci], Balmain, on and on and on. Bernard Arnault. A handful of bitter fashion writers try to take him down all the time,? West?s pal told us.
Of his drama at home, the pal added, ?I was just with them in LA, and vibes were at an all-time [high] .?.?. everyone came out to the shows, and Kim was in great spirits.?

While Page Six has a thing about negative Kardashian-West stories, I kind of believe the furniture story. You know why? Because it sounds exactly like something Kanye would do. He would totally blow through hundreds of thousands of dollars on couches and gold toilet towers and one-of-a-kind coffee tables only to change his mind and put it all in storage. This is also one of the reasons why Kim and Yeezy lived with her mom for so long ? Different people react differently to shock and trauma. It seemed obvious to me that Kim Kardashian was legitimately traumatized by the robbery in Paris earlier this month. The loss of her jewelry probably hurt, but the biggest trauma was that armed gunmen broke into what she considered a safe, secure place, and they tied her up and manhandled her. She reportedly begged for her life and truly thought she was going to be raped and/or killed. We heard for weeks that Kim was still dealing with the trauma, that she wanted to go into therapy, that she was having nightmares and that she had no interest in going back to her public life post-robbery. Then some time passed. And she got bored with staying home.
Three weeks after being robbed in her Paris hotel room, Kim Kardashian West is slowly acclimating herself back into the public eye, including attending husband Kanye West?s concert on Tuesday.
?Kim was happy to attend Kanye?s concert last night,? a source tells PEOPLE. ?She is starting to seem a bit bored. She wants to make plans for more outings and maybe even a trip. Things are slowly getting back to a new normal.?
Since being gagged and bound while five masked men dressed as police officers stole millions of dollars worth of jewelry earlier this month, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has been keeping a low profile, canceling all public appearances and scaling back on social media. Though Kardashian West did take a break from filming KUWTK after the robbery, she has gradually resumed filming over the last few weeks.
?Kim still prefers to lay low,? another source says. ?She has filmed at home with her sister and Kris on a few occasions. She has been able to pick when she wants to film and how much. There is still no pressure.?
Kardashian West, who is known for going all out for her birthday celebrations, celebrated her 36th year at home with her family and two children ? North, 3, and Saint, 11 months.
?For her birthday, Kim was overwhelmed by all the congratulations,? says the source. ?She received so many gorgeous flower arrangements that they filled almost her whole house.?

I?m sure people will slam her for all of this and much more, but this is actually how many healthy people deal with trauma. They take a break, they change some of their patterns, they take time to heal and take time to feel ?normal? again. And I think that?s what has happened. Kim can?t change who she fundamentally is, which is someone who enjoys being in the spotlight, someone who enjoys being open about her life, someone who enjoys being famous. She probably will change some of her patterns ? more security, fewer jewelry selfies ? but I think it?s a good sign that Kim is getting bored.

Kim Kardashian was and is the celebrity that people love to hate. And not surprisingly, she?s not interested in playing that game anymore. Kim has been very quiet since the Paris robbery on October 3, and it?s looking more and more like Kim is going to be quiet for a while. Sources told People Magazine this week that Kim ?is still having a difficult time? and that ?she has zero desire to resume her old life.? She?s cancelled her upcoming public appearances and she?s been spending most of her time in her house, with her children. Kanye is still on tour, but in between gigs, he flies home to see her. She?s also nervous about being photographed, which makes sense to me because I believe that the robbers were able to track her because of the paparazzi documenting her comings and goings, and there were also some reports that one of the robbers had even posed as a paparazzo to track her.
It seems pretty clear that Kim is legitimately traumatized and she?s still dealing with the aftermath of the shock. Apparently, her family is being incredibly supportive and much of Kim?s business interests and reality show appearances have been left hanging. I suspect that by the end of the year, we?ll be seeing more of her, but for now, she?s doing what she needs to do. Meaning, her birthday is October 21and Kanye has already canceled the big party he had organized:

Just as well, because the Kardashians have already done flapper-themed parties before! Go with something original! As for the party cancelation? yeah, that sounds about right. Kim probably won?t even want the earrings too ? allegedly, she doesn?t want Kanye to replace the diamond ring that was stolen, and I do wonder if she?s going to really cut back on wearing jewelry in public now.

As every gossip and fashion blog has been documenting in the past week, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West arrived in Paris for Fashion Week last week. This is an annual thing for them, regardless of whether Kanye is on tour (which he is, currently). They always go to the spring and fall Paris Fashion Weeks every year. Paparazzi trail them constantly, especially when they?re in Europe, and basically anyone could trace where they are at any given time, where they?re staying, and what jewelry Kim has with her. When I say ?basically anyone,? usually that means fans and paps. But in Paris last night, that meant armed robbers.
Armed gunmen broke into Kim Kardashian’s Paris hotel room, taped her mouth shut and stole millions of dollars in jewelry and the emergency rippled quickly all the way to New York … where Kanye bolted from the stage mid-concert. There were 5 gunmen, posing as cops, who threatened the concierge and made him open the door to her room.
Our Kardashian sources say at least 2 gunman bound and gagged Kim with handcuffs and tape and then put her in the bathtub. We’re told Kim begged them to spare her life, telling them she had babies at home.
The gunmen knew exactly what they were doing … we’re told they beelined it for her jewelry and took a $4.5 million ring and a jewelry box. After the gunmen left she was able to break out of the restraints and called for help.
We’re told Kim was badly shaken but unharmed, calling it “the worst moment in my life.”
As for Kanye … he was performing at the Meadows Festival in Queens, NY — Yeezy was jamming in the middle of “Heartless” when he cut the music and made the announcement, stunning the crowd.

People Mag confirms that the armed assault and armed robbery took place at the No Address Hotel, and Kim?s children were not in the hotel room (or even at the same hotel?). Someone must have run on stage to tell Kanye what had happened because he really did leave mid-set, and most people assume he flew immediately to Paris to be with Kim. People Mag also says that the jewelry stolen from Kim is worth approximately $10 million, and I?m assuming the $4.5 million ring might be the relatively new diamond ring Kanye bought his wife a few months ago which she?s been showing off on social media, although the price tag at the time was reportedly $10 million (but who knows?). Surely Kim insures all of her jewelry?
Anyway, this is awful. I feel so sorry for Kim. If she insures her jewelry ? how could she not? ? then the financial loss won?t be anything significant. But the psychological trauma is probably extreme ? I mean, they tied her up, forced her into the bathtub and she was begging for her life. All because some douchebags wanted her jewelry. It?s horrendous.

Vitalii Sediuk is escalating. It used to be that we only heard about him once or twice a year, and we only heard about him when he was assaulting a celebrity. He is considered by some to be a ?prank journalist,? but at this point let?s just call him what he really is: a psycho predator who assaults celebrities (usually women). We just finished talking about him last week, when he assaulted Gigi Hadid in Milan. Now he?s in Paris (for Fashion Week), and guess what? He tried to assault Kim Kardashian. If you remember, he?s already assaulted Kim once before: back in 2014, almost two years ago exactly, he tackled her legs in the middle of a paparazzi scrum in Paris and her security people had to protect her. This time, Vitalii ran up to Kim on the street and tried to put his face on her ass.
Vitalii Sediuk tried to ambush the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star outside of L’Avenue restaurant on Wednesday, but Kim thankfully was able to march right past him. In a video posted to Instagram by makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic, it appeared that Vitalii was trying to plant a kiss on Kim’s butt. It didn’t take long, fortunately, for Kim’s bodyguard to stop the attacker in his tracks.
Kim, who has unfortunately been targeted by Vitalii in the past, took to Twitter to thank security guard Pascual Duvier for keeping him safe, calling him “a G.”
Vitalii took to Instagram after the incident to confirm he was, indeed, the culprit. He wrote, “I was protesting Kim for using fake butt implants. I encourage her and the rest of Kardashian clan to popularise natural beauty among teenage girls who follow and defend them blindly.” He even attempted to add an explanation, writing, “P.s. I was sitting there outside the posh restaurant to use free wifi and eating my ice-cream. When all of a sudden, the pack of paparazzi came out and the car with Kim Kardashian. I swear I didn’t know she was going to be there. So I had to come out with an idea very fast. Does it mean if I don’t go to celebrities, they come to me? Lol”

Why wasn?t he arrested in Milan for assaulting Gigi Hadid? Why wasn?t he arrested this time for assault (or attempted assault) on Kim? Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian in Florida over the past few days. Kim has been getting pap?d constantly, almost as if she knew that people were paying attention to the Emmys and she wanted to ensure she got lots of attention too. I actually made a point of not choosing any of the photos where Kim had gotten her t-ts out and she was just wandering around, fully exposed for some reason. On Monday, Kim also posted a justification for her recent spate of public nudity, writing on her app: ?I have always loved sheer?I just don?t GAF, LOL.?
Meanwhile, Kim did make one interesting move that didn?t involve her breasts, surprisingly. A few months back, the Wall Street Journal published a full-page ad in which FactCheck Armenia (an organization devoted to denying the 1915 Armenian genocide) publicly claimed to WSJ readers that 1.5 million Armenians were never slaughtered in one of the worst genocides of the 20th century. Kim, as an Armenian-American, actually has a history of activism around the cause of recognizing the Armenian genocide. Yesterday, I claimed that Kim Kardashian was trying to kill me with ?90s nostalgia ? there were some photos of Kim in NYC, wearing a Totally ?90s black velvet dress that pretty much every ?90s Girl owned circa 1996. And now this happened! These are photos of Kim Kardashian out and about in Miami yesterday with Kanye and some of her family (Khloe, etc). Pretty much every lady my age and older has tried a variation of this look too, the bustier-top with jeans. We all tried in the 1980s and ?90s. It?s hard to pinpoint exactly when the ?peak? of this fashion really came. I would say early ?90s, but I might be wrong. This look reminds me strongly of a very famous set of photos of Cindy Crawford. Janet Jackson wore something similar in a music video too.
Still, these photos just remind me of something fundamental about Kim: she doesn?t understand her body at all. She takes lousy styling advice and she has no ?eye? for what works on her body, or for what works period. Look at how small that lingerie/bustier/bodysuit thing is! Look at what it?s doing to her breasts. And I?m sorry, but those acid-washed jeans need to be burned. I thought LeAnn Rimes? jeans were bad the other day, but I actually think these are worse (albeit cleaner).
Kim also got somewhat naked ? she was naked, but covering herself ? in some Snapchats last night and now everyone is like ?are we going to have another controversy where tons of celebrities call Kim a skank for not wearing clothes??
PS? Seriously, why are button-fly jeans a thing again? It was bad enough the first time around.
