For months now, we?ve known that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expecting a third child via surrogacy. They waited a while to confirm it, which I understand – there are just as many nervous moments with a surrogacy, and they wanted to wait, which is their right. Kim had a baby shower over the weekend, which says to me that the baby is due pretty soon. We?ve heard that before as well, that the baby is due before Christmas. I think Kimye Baby #3 will probably happen in early December. So, Kim is getting ready and Kanye is probably getting ready too. Kim stopped by The Ellen Show to chat, and she let is slip that they?re expecting a girl this time around. They don?t have a name yet, but it will be difficult to outdo North West.
Kim Kardashian accidentally revealed the sex of Baby No. 3 Wednesday. Making an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Kim discussed how welcoming a child via surrogate differs from her pregnancies. “I don’t know if my son [Saint West] gets it yet. Especially since I don’t have the belly, it is a different experience. I said to my sisters, ‘Would it be really creepy if I just had someone dress up like a big stork and drop the baby off at the front door?’” she said. “Isn’t that what we heard when were growing up? That storks dropped off…?”
“You’re going to mess him up real bad,” Ellen DeGeneres teased. “Don’t do that.”
“My daughter [North West] thinks she’s really tricky. We had a baby shower over the weekend. I thought, ‘I really do want to have a baby shower because I want her to feel that something’s coming and for her to really understand it,” Kim explained. “People brought toys and gifts. She was opening them all up the next day and she said, ‘Mom, Baby Sister’s not here. I think I need all of her toys in my room. I’ll play with them and just make sure they’re OK for Baby Sister.’”
Ellen replied, “She’s a toy tester…and you just told us it’s a girl!”
“Oh! I guess!” Kim said with a laugh. “Yes, it is. North is really excited about that. She’s so excited. Let’s see if it lasts. I did explain to her, ‘OK, at 4:00 in the morning, when you come in my room, I’m going to have to be with Baby Sister?I have to feed her.’ We’ll see how it goes.”
“Is that her name, Baby Sister?” Ellen joked. “Do you have a name yet?”
“We don’t have a name. At the baby shower, I was like, ‘I don’t want to play any baby games, measuring the belly?none of that will work for this time around. I just want everyone to write a name on a little tile and see if there’s something that sticks,’” Kim said. “We’re freaking out. We have no name.” Ellen had a “celebrity baby name generator” ready, but it wasn’t all that useful. Possibilities included Lip-Kit West (“Kylie would love that…”), West West (“You’ll definitely know how to spell your first and last name easily…”) and Pop West (“Not for me…”).
The best option was Star West. “You know what’s so funny? I’m not going to name her Star, but my daughter picks that name all the time,” Kim revealed to Ellen. “So, she got a toy and it’s a llama?Baby Sister’s toy that she took?and I said, ‘Well, OK, what do you want to name the llama?’ She said, ‘Star?Star West!’ So, she names everything Star West.’ I’m not vibing on it.”
Ellen, who took credit for naming Kim and Kanye West’s son, finally ran out of suggestions. “You’re so difficult!” she told the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star. “I’m trying to help you.” Kim, who said her surrogate will give birth “soon,” realizes she can be a little bit picky. “I do like different name?but short, easy to spell, one syllable,” she said. “That’s kind of my vibe.”

I?m including the clip below – Ellen is doing everything to help Kim pick out a name, and I kind of appreciate her criteria – one syllable, easy to spell, something that sounds good with West (which is actually a great surname with most first names). Personally, the names North and Saint have grown on me so much over the years, and I could totally see Kim naming this baby Star West. Someone in the audience suggested Elle West, which I could see too. One syllable names for Kimye: what should they choose? Sloane West. Lex West. Hope West. Dove West. Quinn West. She?s not listening to us, though.

Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian at the 2017 LACMA Art + Film Gala over the weekend. Her date for the night was not her husband Kanye West! Kim went with her mother, Kris Jenner, and Kris wore something resembling pajamas. Kim wore vintage Tom Ford, and I actually sort of like the idea of this. Like, I?m all for more menswear-style stuff on women, and god knows I love a woman in a tuxedo. On Kim though? I don?t know, it?s a bit too slouchy. And I sort of wish she had done one button on the jacket?? Also: Kim?s blonde looks SO scraggly. People who regularly bleach their hair, tell me: is Kim taking proper care of her blonde? I don?t think she is.
Kim and Kanye are doing better, even though ?Ye hasn?t been walking many red carpets lately. Kim and Kanye did go out together for Kendall Jenner?s 22nd birthday party, and Kanye made some rare appearances in photos with Kim – go here to see.
Meanwhile, remember how Kim dressed up as various musical icons for Halloween? She went at Selena, Cher, Madonna and? Aaliyah. The Aaliyah costume in particular was controversial, although many people noted that it wasn?t nearly as bad as it could have been. Kim basically just wore a costume from Aaliyah?s ?Try Again? music video and did her hair similarly and that was it. No blackface. Well, now Kim is apologizing for it, writing:
?When I was deciding what I wanted to be for Halloween this year, I had a lot of ideas that I narrowed down to musical icons and my second costume was Aaliyah. The look was inspired by what she wore in her ?Try Again? music video. I wore a custom bra top and J Brand leather pants. Ariel Tejada did my makeup and Chris Appleton did my hair.?
?Aaliyah was such an amazing singer and she will forever be a music legend. I saw online that some people thought my costume was in poor taste and I am truly sorry if that offended anyone. When I was creating the costume, I wasn?t dressing up as a race or culture but rather as a woman whom I will always admire. I play every kind of genre of music in my home and I like for my kids to be exposed to many different artists.?
?For me, it?s always about love and respect. I loved that Kourtney was Michael Jackson for one of her costumes, and that my son was Axl Rose. We don?t see color in my home. We were paying homage to people and artists we love and respect? it?s that simple!?

I think Kim is guilty of cultural appropriation a lot of times, but I honestly wasn?t sure if the Aaliyah costume was one of those times. It didn?t offend me on a racial level, but I rolled my eyes at the fact that we had to invoke the name of Aaliyah in the same breath as Kim Kardashian. All that being said, this is sort of a bulls–t apology. ?We don?t see color in my home? is the kind of excuse a lot of racists use for doing and saying racist sh-t. And shouldn’t she say “race” instead of “color”??

It?s totally anticlimactic now, but in a new promo for Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim Kardashian finally confirms that she and Kanye are expecting again, this time via surrogacy. She actually doesn?t confirm the surrogacy part of it in the promo, but we?ve known about the surrogacy for months now, even though Kim has tried to be ?coy? (fake-coy) about it. Granted, it?s none of our business, but Kris Jenner is the one leaking sh-t to People and Us Weekly, and obviously they wanted us to know about the surrogacy months ago. Here?s the promo:
Meh. What else? There?s a ridiculous amount of Kim K news for some reason this week, but all of it has been overshadowed by Kylie Jenner?s pregnancy news and Khloe?s pregnancy news. Kim made the choice not to go to Paris Fashion Week this year, on what would have been the one-year anniversary of her assault and robbery in the middle of PFW 20016. Kim recently talked about her struggle with anxiety post-robbery in an interview with T Singapore, saying: “I definitely get a lot more anxiety now, just with people knowing your every move.? Apparently, the mastermind of Kim?s robbery (who is awaiting a trial in France) also wrote Kim a letter of apology – go here to read TMZ?s coverage.
Kim also covers the latest issue of Vogue Mexico, and she used her cover to encourage people to donate to Project Paz:

Kim Kardashian went blonde last week, just ahead of her big, splashy return to New York Fashion Week. For several years, Kim was a constant figure at NYFWs and at Paris Fashion Weeks. She even went to London Fashion Weeks a few times. Some wondered if Kim would ever return to a fashion week again after she was assaulted and robbed last year in Paris. Paparazzi in particular were lamenting the idea that Kim – one of their favorite subjects – would never return and nothing would ever be the same. Kim has returned! To New York, at least. I bet she isn?t planning on going to Paris anytime soon. Kim has been doing NYFW events with her sister Kendall and with their mom, Kris Jenner. Kanye isn?t showing at NYFW this year, and he?s been photographed in LA – TMZ says that Kanye even went to the movies while Kim was out in New York, being ?fashionable.?
Anyway, please enjoy all of these photos of Kim and her blonde hair, which is possibly a wig. In some photos, it does look very wiggy, but in other photos, I?m almost believing that it?s her real hair. The photos of Kim in gold are from the Bazaar ICONS event several nights ago – that dress is apparently vintage Versace, which? eh. It doesn?t fit her! It would have been a really solid look for her if it was properly tailored. She also looked rather lovely in a black ensemble at the Alexander Wang party, and then the paps got some good street-style photos of Kim wearing a vintage Miu Miu fanny pack. For real. Did you know that fanny packs are making a high-fashion comeback? It’s true.
Meanwhile, Kim spoke out about all of last week?s reporting on her surrogate. Kim told E! News: “I’ve definitely seen a lot of things, we’ve never confirmed anything. So, I think when we’re ready to talk about it we will, and I think it’s super invasive when people are just… So many details out there, and like I’ve never heard this, I’ve never heard this. Like whatever. We have not confirmed it, and that’s that. I’ll let you know when we’re ready.” I understand, but let?s be real – those stories didn?t come out of thin air, and *someone* leaked information to TMZ and People Magazine simultaneously last week. Maybe it wasn?t Kim. It most likely wasn?t Kanye. But it was someone!

What?s orange and silver and latex all over? Kim Kardashian. Kim is in New York for NY Fashion Week, in what will be her first fashion week appearance since Paris Fashion Week almost one year ago, where she was held at gunpoint and robbed at her hotel/apartment after returning from a fashion week event. Kim stepped out last night for the Tom Ford show, and then she went to dinner. Kanye was not with her, and as it turns out, the new Yeezy line isn?t even showing at NYFW this year.
Anyway, Kim is doing NYFW this season, so she wanted a new look! Hair stylist Chris Appleton gave her this Khaleesi look, with long silver-blonde hair. That?s actually the only reference point I have for this – the ?Khaleesi wig? that Emilia Clarke uses on Game of Thrones. The way Kim was Snapchatting about this, it really is a dye job, not a wig though. Do you believe that? I guess I do. I think the silvery blonde would work better if Kim was less orange. Right? As for the latex dress, it?s by LaQuan Smith.

In June of this year, we heard that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had hired a surrogate to carry their third child. Kim had two very difficult pregnancies and births, and while she can still technically carry a pregnancy to term (I think?), one more pregnancy would probably be extremely disastrous to her health. In July, various sources said that Kim and Kanye?s surrogate was already three months pregnant. I believed it. Which is why I had a ????? thought bubble over my head when I read this People Mag story yesterday:
North and Saint are getting a little sibling! The surrogate whom Kanye West and wife Kim Kardashian West hired to carry their third child is pregnant, sources confirm to PEOPLE.
?The entire family is over the moon. Kim had been looking for a surrogate for months until recently when she found the perfect candidate,? a source tells PEOPLE.
?Given her health scares in the past, Kim felt the need to hire a surrogacy agency that helped serve as the liaison in finding a healthy woman who would be a great surrogate option for her and Kanye. Both of them have been super involved in the process.?
The source continues, ?They want everything to be perfect and for the baby to be extremely healthy. They don?t want any complications and Kim is providing an ideal eating regimen and diet so everyone knows what the baby is consuming before it?s born.?

Like, didn?t we know this months ago? Why the brand-new rollout for old information? IS THIS ABOUT SNAKE EMOJI? We shall never know. TMZ also had a story about the surrogacy being real and how the surrogate is already pregnant, and TMZ says the surrogate is due in January. Which puts the surrogate at? what? About five months along? So that story about her being three months pregnant was right. Sources also say the surrogate is expecting a girl. Nice – I wonder what they’ll name another girl?? It will be crazy, I’m sure, although North/Nori has grown on me considerably. Anyway, I?m glad everything is going well for Kim, Kanye and the surrogate. I do think the way this news was re-unveiled is probably about The Artist Known As Snake Emoji. Kimye is saying to the world: this is what we care about, our family, not petty snake beefs.

It?s been long-rumored, and now there?s a confirmation: Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are hiring a surrogate to carry their third child. For the most part, celebrities only announce a surrogacy after the fact, when the baby is in the world. But not Kimye. I guess that?s sort of smart of Kim and Kanye, because there?s a lot of leaking in that family, and if they had tried to keep the surrogate on the DL, it probably would have blown up in their faces. So, best to do full-disclosure from the very beginning.
The West family is expanding! Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West have hired a surrogate, a source confirms to PEOPLE. Kardashian West has long made it clear on Keeping Up with the Kardashians that she wants another child ? even though her doctors have warned her about the health risks of another pregnancy because she suffers from placenta accreta.
The couple, who wed in May 2014, are already parents to 4-year-old daughter North and 18-month-old son Saint.
?I?d just love nothing more than to expand my family and just know that I have this world at home that?s safe,? she said on the show. ?And if for some reason I left this earth sooner than I really wanted to, then my kids would have a support system at home so that I know that they would be okay if I wasn?t here.?
Kardashian West underwent a procedure to help her become able of carrying another baby if she chooses to, but it doesn?t work.
?I can?t carry anymore kids ? it?s the worst,? she told close pal Jonathan Cheban. ?It?s not going to be happy for me.. I had a full break down ? I give up.?

TMZ reports that the deal has already happened with the surrogate, whom they met through an agency. Everything seems above-board – the surrogate, Kim and Kanye are all working through this agency, it seems, and they are putting $68,850 as ?deposit? with the agency. The surrogate will be paid $45,000 in total ($4500 per month for ten months), and ?if there are multiples, the surrogate gets $5k for each additional kid.? Oh, and ?If the surrogate loses reproductive organs, she gets $4,000.? Which? what??? I have questions about that one. The surrogate cannot smoke, drink or do drugs and she can?t have sex with her partner in the three weeks after embryo implantation. She can?t go in hot tubs or saunas. She cannot apply hair dye. She cannot eat sushi. All of the regular pregnancy stuff, basically.

Last year, I sort of enjoyed how political Kim Kardashian got. She and most of her family decided to publicly support Hillary Clinton. Kris Jenner took part in a big fundraiser for Clinton in LA, and Kim talked openly and even wrote about why she was supporting Clinton. For Kim in particular, it was almost a Katy Perry-esque move, in that I was surprised that both Katy and Kim would risk alienating their more conservative fans by actually taking stances on certain issues. I was wondering if Kim would phase out the political stuff now that Emperor Baby Fists is in office. Maybe not? There were photos of Kim, Khloe and Kourtney on Friday and they were? going into the Planned Parenthood headquarters in LA?
The Kardashian girls were sisters in arms for a visit to Planned Parenthood to raise awareness. Kim, Kourtney and Khloe went to the organization’s headquarters Thursday in West L.A. to meet with leaders. We’re told they discussed PP’s health care efforts and how President Trump’s administration is impacting them.
Sources close to the sisters tell us their main focus was to find out how they can contribute to the group’s cause and work more with them in the future. Their visit was taped for “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
PP will get its message out on a popular show, while the Kardashians do something that … let’s face it, many will see as controversial. And as Hollywood knows … controversy frequently equals ratings. No word on when the episode will air.

The only thing I hate about this is that the photos are exclusive to one agency. This should have been a situation where Kim called up all of the paps. Kim, Khloe and Kourtney should have stood in front of the Planned Parenthood sign and made sure that everyone got a photo, because an image is worth a thousand words (and thousands in donations too). But other than that, I don?t hate it at all. I think this is a good use of their time and platform. While the ratings for KUWTK have plummeted this year, I do think there are certain people – younger women, perhaps – who will see the Kardashians supporting PP and it will be an educational moment.

Kim Kardashian appears on today?s Ellen Show. Even though Keeping Up with the Kardashians covered Kim?s Paris robbery, this is the first real interview Kim has done about the robbery. Meaning, this is the first time Kim has spoken directly about it in public, to a professional interviewer. The clip isn?t online yet but E! News had a lot of the quotes from the interview. Kim talks about how she feels like the robbery was ?supposed to happen? to her to get her to wake up and stop being so materialistic. Some quotes:
She feels like it was meant to happen to her: “I know this sounds crazy, but I know that was meant to happen to me. I don’t want to start crying, but I feel like that was so meant to happen to me. I’m such a different person. I, um…I don’t want to start crying anymore. It was meant to happen to me. I really feel like things happen in your life to teach you things. It was probably no secret, and you see it on the show?I was being flashy and I was definitely materialistic before.?
On success & materialism: ?[There?s nothing inherently] bad with having things and working hard to get those things, and I’m really proud of everyone around me that’s successful? but I’m so happy that my kids get this me and that this is who I’m raising my kids [as]. ‘Cause I just don’t care about that stuff anymore. I really don’t. Like I said, everyone gets so excited when they get things. Or, of course when you get engaged, you’re going to show off your ring. If you get a new car?I don’t care what kind it is?you get so proud and you get so happy and you show that off on social media. But it’s just…it’s not worth it. Like, I don’t care about that stuff. I don’t care to show off the way that I used to. Even though there’s nothing wrong, truly?it’s OK if you’re proud of that and you work so hard and you get something?it’s just not who I am anymore.”
The robbers had been tracking her for years: “It was almost 2:30 in the morning. But what was crazy is meeting with my attorneys and knowing the information that I know now, they had been following me for two years. They had been hearing interviews that I did, getting excited about this jewelry or this jewelry, and saying that it’s real. It’s not to say that I’ll never wear jewelry again or anything like that, [but] I truly don’t know if I’d ever feel comfortable. I don’t know if I’d ever wear real jewelry again. Just…my whole life as changed as far as how I travel and security. I never thought that I needed security staying outside my door, even though I had a lot of jewelry. If you think about it, yeah, I should have had a security guard outside my door 24/7 when I’m traveling and I didn’t. Now, I have several, just for me to be able to sleep at night.”
What she felt when she realized what was happening: “Automatically, your stomach dropped. It’s a feeling you can’t even explain. Like, I knew that was it for me. I said a prayer, like, ‘I know I’m going to heaven. I hope my kids are OK, and my husband.’ I don’t want to cry; you’re making me cry. But it does happen really fast. It was a good seven or eight minutes of torture, but when I look back and I analyze it, I’m like, ‘OK, they weren’t aggressive.’ It could have been way worse, so I don’t want to sound like I’m not grateful. I’m out, I’m home, I’m safe, I’m such a better person?it’s OK. Let’s move on.”

I was suspicious at first that Kim would merely go through a phase where she was less showy, and then she would revert back to her old put-it-all-out-there self. But? is it weird that I think she actually has changed? I don?t think this was ?meant to happen? in the sense of ?this was fated, the universe wanted to teach her a lesson.? Because I don?t think the universe cares about Kim Kardashian. But I do think she learned some lessons and I don?t know, I buy her transformation.
Kim also talked sh-t about Caitlyn Jenner in this interview. Apparently, none of the Kardashians are here for Caitlyn?s memoir and Kim says flat-out that Caitlyn is lying her ass off.

Have you seen the trailers and ads for the new movie The Promise? That?s an awful film-title, isn?t it? With a name like The Promise, I would expect it to be one of those super-churchy films, but it?s not. It?s about the Armenian genocide. Or, let me be more specific, it?s a love story set against the backdrop of the Armenian genocide. I think this was supposed to be a bit like The English Patient, only the trailers make me feel? like this is sort of miscast? No offense to Oscar Isaac and Christian Bale, but? I don?t know. Here?s the trailer:
Anyway, the LA premiere was last night and Oscar Isaac wasn?t there (or he was not photographed at all if he was there). Christian Bale was there with his wife. But Bale barely got any attention, because the most famous Armenian-American in the world came out to the premiere: KIM KARDASHIAN. We are living in a world where Kim Kardashian goes to the same premiere as Christian Bale? and she gets more attention than Bale. Which I actually think Bale is probably fine with?
There was another famous Armenian-American in attendance: CHER! I actually didn?t know that Cher is part Armenian, but there you go. Cher happily posed with Kim and Kourtney Kardashian on the red carpet. Movies about the Armenian genocide: ON FLEEK. Speaking of on fleek, I don?t really have much to say about the fashion here. I don?t think that color complements Kim, but Kourtney?s suit is pretty great. Cher looks like Cher. Like the Ghost of Kim?s Future Faces, actually.
