Stepping out to support her fianc Olivier Martinez, Halle Berry showed up at the premiere of ?Cybergeddon? in West Hollywood last night (September 24).
The ?Dark Tide? dame looked lovely as she posed with her hunky beau outside the Pacific Design Center prior to watching Martinez and his costars rock the silver screen.
And rather than running as a full-length feature film, ?Cybergeddon? will be shown in three 30-minute chapters on Yahoo.
Producer Anthony E Zuiker told press, ?I wanted to challenge the movie industry to do things that had nothing to do with the theatre. I wanted to do a movie that was free globally in 25 countries and 10 languages around the world anytime, anywhere, on any device.?
Per the synopsis, ?Framed for a cyber-crime she didn't commit, FBI Special Agent Chloe Jocelyn is forced to go on the run in order to prove her innocence. With the world on her tail, Chloe discovers that Gustov Dobreff, a ruthless cybercriminal may be behind it all. Chloe seeks the help of Chase 'Rabbit' Rosen, a former black hat hacker, currently doing time in a federal penitentiary. While chasing down one of Gustov's hackers the duo is confronted by Frank Parker, Chloe's ex-boyfriend and a member of FBI cyber-crime unit. Faced with the evidence of Gustov's involvement, Frank quickly realizes that Chloe's innocence and joins them. With the world distracted by "weapons of mass disruption" it's up to our heroes to track down Gustov and stop cybergeddon before the world, as we know it, comes to an end.?

Here’s Halle Berry promoting her film Cloud Atlas at the Toronto Film Festival. It’s an epic adventure film based on a book of the same name by David Mitchell. It also stars Tom Hanks, Susan Sarandon, Jim Sturgess, and Hugh Grant among others. It’s out on October 26th. I just watched the extended trailer and there are so many different interwovenstorylines, I came away with no idea what it’s about. It’s futuristic, it’s historical, parts look like Inception and parts like Avatar. There’s also a little Water World mixed in. Screen Rant has some advanced reviews if you’re interested. Apparently it’s getting good reviews overall and needs to do well since it cost $100 million to make.
Getting back to Halle Berry, she wore this see-through lace top to remind us of how hot she still is, and paired it with a purple snakeskin print suit with shoulder pads that has a very 90s sillouette. The only designer ID I have found for Halle’s outfit is that the blouse is Monique Lhuillier. I don’t know who made that crazy suit, but I don’t hate it. She really works it hard. I just wish she had gotten the pants tailored. We just saw Kate Hudson in some too-long pants so maybe that’s going to be a fashion “do” now. Halle’s hair and makeup are perfection. I’m so glad she ditched the crazy curls.
I came into this story thinking I would talk about Halle Berry’s silly fashion and maybe wonder aloud what’s going on with her custody battle, but having seen the Cloud Atlas trailer I realize I don’t care. It’s all part of the intricate dance of humanity, where we love, lose, die, fight for our rights and try and remain relevant with wacky fashion and extreme fitness. I don’t know. The film is described as “exploration of how the actions of individual lives impact one another in the past, present and future, as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero, and an act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution.” Here’s a brief part of a glowing review on Collider that makes me really want to see it:
?My life exists far beyond the limitations of me,? a character notes in Cloud Atlas. By the same token, The Wachowski Siblings and Tom Tykwer?s film exists far beyond the limitations of genre, narrative, identity, and time. It is a work of sweeping ambition, engrossing stories, compelling characters, and powerful emotions. The filmmakers have taken David Mitchell?s novel, and rebuilt it into a captivating sextuplet filled with love, hate, redemption, damnation, bravery, cowardice, and more. Through skillful editing and astounding performances, Cloud Atlas is a cinematic experience like few others, and it will leave viewers in awe.

I’m kind of excited for this movie. Plus I love Hugh Grant and Tom Hanks. I know it will make me cry, though. I cried at Avatar, and had to fight the urge not to bawl.

Jim Sturgess does not do it for me. I understand why Kaiser calls him “pillow weeper”

Susan Sarandon needs a new stylist, but you know she does not GAF at all. Look at her shoes.
Love Tom! I’m not a fan of that burgeoning mustache, but maybe he’s growing it in for a role.

Arriving at the airport in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Halle Berry rushed to catch her flight today (September 3).
The "Monster's Ball" star wore a beige patterned sleeveless dress, flip flops and a straw hat while she carried a beige handbag.
Lurking in the background is Halle's ongoing custody battle with ex Gabriel Aubry over their four-year-old daughter, Nahla.
Recently, TMZ reported that the 46-year-old Oscar winner plans to have her fiance Olivier Martinez testify.
The French actor will testify as to France's strict paparazzi laws, making the case that their daughter will be safer living in France. Ms. Berry's gal pal Salma Hayek, who is married to French billionaire Francois-Henri Pinault, may also be called to testify along the same lines.

The Halle Berry custody battle rages on, and Halle’s people would like us to think that it’s all going in her favor. I consider this latest TMZ report spin from Halle’s camp, as is a lot of what gets reported by TMZ about her. I could be wrong, it could be a totally genius idea to have her new fiance, Oliver Martinez, testify on her behalf about how much better the paparazzi are in France compared to L.A. Or it could just make her reasons for wanting to move to France with her daughter seem transparent and the paparazzi excuse will come across like as much of a smokescreen as it looks like from the outside. At least I’m hoping that happens. Here’s TMZ’s report:
Halle Berry has a secret witness she’s going to call to the stand to support her bid to take Nahla to Paris — her fiance, Olivier Martinez.
Sources close to the case tell TMZ … Halle’s lawyer will ask Martinez — a famous actor — about his experience with paparazzi in Paris. Martinez will say the photogs are far more respectful and less aggressive in gay Paris than their counterparts in the US of A.
Martinez will also discuss their living arrangement and his involvement with Nahla. He will also tell the judge that Halle is a class A mother.
As for how the case is going, we’re told baby daddy Gabriel Aubry is having trouble making his case. On Thursday, one of Halle’s expert witnesses left the courthouse early without even testifying — he was there to counter one of Gabriel’s experts, but there was no need for a rebuttal because sources connected with Gabriel tell TMZ … his expert kinda crashed and burned.

The last we heard from Gabriel’s side, the official child custody report recommended that Nahla not be separated from her father. So I doubt that this is as cut and dried as Halle’s people would like to have us believe. That said, I truly don’t know how this is going to turn out. Halle seems to stop at nothing to get her way, and I only hope that the judge can see through that. Having her new fiance testify on her behalf seems like dumb and arrogant move, one that may backfire on her.
Radar reported reported last week that Halle and Gabriel’s custody trial would last “another 10 full days,” so we may be hearing something about this next week. That is unless Halle calls in more of her besties to try and bolster her case.

These are photos of Halle Berry looking like a million bucks in a clingy gray cowl neck dress with a blue paint splatter print. This dress is amazing, and Halle has paired it with some casual black flip flops that look just slightly fancier than the ones I’m wearing now. She looks incredible, and like she’s plotting something, right? She’s got some kind of notepad with her, she’s talking animatedly, and I would bet that the woman with her is a lawyer or someone otherwise connected to her custody case. That’s just a hunch, and I could be completely wrong, but that’s the vibe I’m getting. Halle, this unnamed woman, and Halle’s fiance Olivier Martinez were spotted out at lunch on Melrose Ave on Sunday. Ok, so it was Sunday and it might have been just friends going for lunch, but where Halle is involved I’m suspicious.
The last we heard, Halle had called in Salma Hayek to submit a sworn declaration in her custody case. Halle is of course trying to move to France with her daughter Nahla, against the wishes her Nahla’s father, Gabriel Aubry. Halle’s central argument is that the paparazzi are aggressive and threaten Nahla’s safety in LA and that a move to France would protect the child. It looks like Halle might get her way, but we haven’t heard anything yet about the judge’s ruling. So the case is either ongoing, or the decision was unfavorable to Halle and she doesn’t want the news to get out. I’m thinking that nothing has been decided yet, but TMZ’s lack of updates has definitely been suspicious. Maybe more news will come out this week.
Meanwhile Gabriel’s camp has been very quiet. He used to leak news to Radar Online, (which was not always beneficial to his image) and at some point Radar switched and seemed to be as team Halle as TMZ. Maybe Gabriel realized that it wasn’t helping his case to play the media game, although it seemed like he was just trying to defend himself. He’s had to do that quite a bit since the breakup with Halle. I hope the lack of news means that Gabe is winning this round.

Stepping out for an errand-filled afternoon, Halle Berry along with her daughter and fianc were seen making their way around Los Angeles, CA on Friday (August 9).
The ?Catwoman? starlet looked casual in a black maxi dress, fedora and sunglasses while her French actor beau Olivier Martinez happily toted around the adorable little Nahla.
Judging by this most recent outing, the pair seem to be going strong despite recent separation rumors.
On Wednesday (August 8), the 45-year-old beauty was photographed out in LA without the gorgeous emerald ring on her finger, which prompted some to wonder if the two had called it quits.

Already back in work mode after being rushed to the hospital following an on-set injury earlier in the week, Halle Berry resumed filming her new movie "The Hive" in Los Angeles on Thursday (July 19).
The Oscar-winning actress looked to be doing just fine as she roamed the trailer area with a staffer by her side during a break in the day's action.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, Miss Berry, 45, was taken to a local medical center on Tuesday after hitting her head during the course of her filming efforts.
At the time, her rep told press in a statement, "She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she checked out healthy and was released. She'll continue production as planned."
Halle's new project is a thriller in which she plays "a 911 operator who must confront her own fears in order to save an abducted teenage girl (Abigail Breslin) from a serial killer."

These are some newish photos of Halle Berry on the downtown LA set of her latest film, The Hive, yesterday. I think these photos were taken relatively early in the day on Tuesday, because later on in the day, Halle was injured on the set. It wasn?t just a light boo-boo either ? according to sources, Halle was ?rushed to Cedars-Sinai? around 10 pm. Radar says that Halle ?either fell or was hit by a falling object.? TMZ says Halle ?hit her head on concrete after taking a nasty fall.?
Whatever happened, it sounds like a head injury, which reminded CB of Natasha Richardson?s devastating (and then fatal) head injury back in 2009. While my gut says that Halle?s situation isn?t like Natasha?s, head injuries and concussions can be very tricky and it?s good that producers got Halle to the hospital quickly. Have you ever been struck on your head? I have. Head injuries always bleed like a motherf?er too. Send positive thoughts to Halle!
PS? On a superficial note, Halle is not wearing a wig in these photos ? she actually cut her hair like that.
