Even though Gwyneth Paltrow likes to give the impression that she?s much, much too uptight to actually enjoy peasant sex, there has been evidence over the years that Goop actually is a sexual being. There was that time when Gwyneth gave marriage advice to a friend and that advice was basically ?oral sex.? Plus, there are all those rumors about Gwyneth?s multiple sidepieces over the years while she was married to Chris Martin. Just because she was discreet, doesn?t mean that she was some kind of (elite) sexless princess. But here?s what I?m not sure I believe: that Gwyneth is into whips and handcuffs and such. O RLY?
Gwyneth Paltrow may come off like a straight-arrow mom in her preachy, New Age lifestyle blog Goop, but when the bedroom door is closed, she turns into an oh-so-naughty, whip-wielding tigress!
Star recently caught the actress ? who?s separated from her hubby of 10 years, Chris Martin ? in a secret romantic getaway at a Utah resort with her handsome new lover, still married Glee cocreator Brad Falchuk. Now, a source tells Star that when the couple get intimate, there?s plenty of heat between the sheets.
?It goes totally against her image, but the fact is that Gwyneth really loves to get wild and kinky when she and Brad are going at it,? the insider claims. ?I?m talking handcuffs, whips, corsets and plenty of sex toys. She?s so adventurous that she?ll even bring a separate bag of goodies along with her when she and Brad are traveling. There?s no telling whether Chris was the one who initially got Gwyneth into it ? or whether her lusty relationship with Brad has brought out the animal in her for the first time!?
[From Star Magazine]
This sort of reads like the tabloid stories about Angelina Jolie. Except when it?s Angelina and the tabs are talking about whips and corsets, I?m usually like ?they?re barely scratched the surface, I bet.? What I?m saying is that I bet Gwyneth?s idea of kinky is ?doing it on un-pressed 1000 thread-count sheets? or ?hand-feeding her lover quinoa muffins.?
By the way, this week?s Goop-letter is slightly interesting. Half of the letter is Goop shilling her ?capsule collection? with Diane Von Furstenberg and the other half is an ode to all of the fun stuff to do in NYC. You can also see some of the capsule collection here at Goop. $495 for a DVF/Goop wrap dress? That actually sounds like it?s probably on-target for a regular DVF dress.

Here are some photos of Gwyneth Paltrow at Friday evening?s Stand Up To Cancer event. Gwyneth executive-produced this year?s telecast, which was broadcast on all four networks on Friday. I didn?t watch it, but it?s a good cause and a lot of celebrities participated, including: Jon Hamm, Reese Witherspoon, Pierce Brosnan, Danny McBride, Mike Meyers and many, many more. You can read more about the fundraiser here.
As some of you mentioned in Friday?s Gwyneth post, Goop has signed on to a new film. Well, sort of. The film is called Secret In Their Eyes and it?s a remake of a popular Argentinian movie which won an Oscar for Best Foreign Film in 2010. Gwyneth has apparently taken a supporting role in the film. Guess who will play the lead? Julia Roberts!! OMG. It will be smug on all sides. It will be the battle of ?who annoys you the most?? I actually get annoyed by Julia and Gwyneth in different ways ? I can generally sit through Julia?s films and enjoy her as an actress, I just can?t stand her Julia shtick in real life. Gwyneth annoys me on-screen these days though, and as for how she is in real life? well, obviously, she?s a painful elitist, but I tend to think Julia is the bigger pain in the tuchus. The worst part of this whole story? Julia and Gwyneth get to work with the impossibly brilliant Chiwetel Ejiofor. Damn it!
And finally, Gwyneth?s latest Goop-letter is all about beds, bedding, relaxation and sleepy time. You can read her Goop-letter here. People are making fun of her because she actually writes up a step-by-step tutorial on how to make one?s bed. It is simply the ONLY way to make one?s bed if one if a high-class princess, I suppose. Except that she made no mention of hospital corners, which is the way my mom always taught me to use when making the bed. I still make hospital corners because I tend to thrash around until I?m comfortable and unless the flat sheet is properly tucked in, everything is in disarray. I suspect that makes me a peasant failure. You know what else makes me a peasant? During the summer months, I sleep on top of the covers. Like, my bed is made and I just sleep on top of everything, with a light throw in case I get cold. I wonder what Goop would say about that?

| Gwyneth Paltrow's 'quietly converting to Judaism after years following Kabbalah' | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
A large part of Gwyneth Paltrow?s appeal, back when she was first becoming ?a thing? in the 1990s, was that she seemed like a throwback to the icy blonde WASPs of yesteryear. You could picture her in a wealthy suburban enclave in Connecticut in the 1950s. Or the 1970s. Or the 1990s. Goop has always come across that way ? icy, moneyed, not particularly religious. But she?s always talked about how both of her parents affected her ? her Jewish father and her Christian mother. Goop has even experimented with Kabbalah on-and-off throughout the years. And now Page Six says that following her split with Chris Martin, Gwyneth is ready to commit herself fully to the Judaism. Mazel tov!
Gwyneth Paltrow is converting to Judaism after her conscious uncoupling with husband Chris Martin, sources tell Page Six. The actress is quietly converting after years following Kabbalah, which originated in Judaism, and being friends with Michael Berg, the co-director of the Kabbalah Centre.
While Paltrow?s rep didn?t respond to numerous requests for comment, her late father was film producer Bruce Paltrow, a Jew, while her mother, Blythe Danner, is a Christian. The ?Iron Man? star has previously revealed that she was raised both Jewish and Christian, which ?was such a nice way to grow up.?
In 2011, she appeared on NBC?s ?Who Do You Think You Are?? which described how her family came from a long line of influential East European rabbis. She had said in a 2006 Guardian interview that her father descended from a Russian rabbinical dynasty. She was quoted as saying, ?Like, 17 generations of rabbis ? you see, I really am a Jewish princess!?
After appearing on the ancestry show, Paltrow had said that she wants to raise her daughter Apple, 10, and son Moses, 8, in a Jewish environment, even though their father Martin is Christian. She reportedly made the comment to guests of a London event that was hosted by Community Security Trust, a charity that represents Jewish interests.
Last year, while promoting her cookbook ?It?s All Good,? she declared herself ?the original Jewish mother,? because of how she enjoys cooking for people.
Paltrow told You magazine, ?Creating a meal for my family and friends, sitting together, eating, laughing and talking, that?s when I?m happy. Oh my God, if you saw the amount of food that I do. I am the original Jewish mother. I make meals from these new recipes that look, smell and taste like the food I always cooked, but are also super healthy. That is an additional joy.?
[From Page Six]
If that?s what she wants to do, good for her. I?m sure she realizes that there?s more to being Jewish than just feeding people, right? I?m sure she knows. I wonder what the rabbis will think about giving a bar mitzvah to a ?Moses Martin? and a bat mitzvah to an ?Apple Martin.?

Here are some photos of Gwyneth Paltrow outside of the Jimmy Kimmel studio in LA. She appeared on Kimmel last night to promote the Stand Up to Cancer special, which airs live on Friday night. Goop is co-executive producer this year, which means she?s probably called all of her A-list friends and asked them to make appearances. Kimmel put some clips of the interview online and I?ll be damned if I can find any video of her actually talking about Stand Up to Cancer. Instead, they talked about Goop, her school and her early career.
Here?s Jimmy kissing her ass about Goop. I love that he says that the shoes he bought for his wife didn?t fit!! ?That happens,? Goop says, idly wondering why peasants are buying her shoes.
Gwyneth talks about her kids? first day of school and first time riding the school bus. She also says that her elementary school was all about feelings and dancing and she never learned anything useful. This explains so much!
Gwyneth could have had a big part in the Vanilla Ice movie, Cool As Ice.
Not that bad. I?ll give Gwyneth credit for something ? when she?s out there hustling for a project, she?s open and playful in interviews. Coming off of too many Lip-Biter K-Stew interviews, this is refreshing.
Also ? the grey onesie is what she wore to Kimmel and then she changed into the black dress. How awful is that grey onesie? YIKES.

| Gwyneth Paltrow admits she gets non-surgical Thermage laser skin treatments | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
Gwyneth Paltrow has a new interview with Hello Magazine, and surprisingly enough, she?s not talking about how difficult her life is or how she works harder than all of the peasants combined. Hello spoke to Gwyneth about her best and worst features, and surprisingly enough, Gwyneth admitted that she has some physical features that she?s not happy with. Shocking!
?I think my best feature is my legs,” the 41-year-old mother of two told the publication. “But if I could change anything I wish I could get wrinkles and sun damage reversed without looking like I’d done anything.”
The Oscar-winning actress went on to say she’d rather stick with her wrinkles and sun damage “for now,” but admitted she has used the non-surgical Thermage laser treatment which allegedly eliminates “‘turkey neck’, loose jowls, [and] sagging skin.”
“It’s non-invasive but it’s quite painful, like having your face smacked with a rubber band that has an electric shock in it,” she said. “But it works.”
As for the little things she can do herself to take care of her skin, Paltrow said she thinks “it’s a lot about exercise.”
“I do an hour of cardiovascular activity five days a week and I think that sweating is detoxifying and is really good for skin elasticity,” she explained, adding that she’s also very careful about taking off her makeup before bed and exfoliating her face when she’s been using makeup.
“I didn’t really start looking after my skin until I was 39,” Paltrow confessed. “Now I use a hot cloth cleanser and Clarisonic Mia and I’ve seen a real difference in my skin. I apply Restorsea moisturizer, plus a little cream blusher and mascara, and then I’m ready.”
[From Reality TV World]
Ah, this might have been an undercover advertisement for her Restorsea contract, which is made from fish placenta (or something). Goop is getting a lot of money to shill Restorsea, so it?s interesting that she?s saying that she?s not happy with her skin. Personally, I think she looks fine for a woman in her 40s. She has some sun damage and some wrinkles, but I prefer that to plastic surgery and waxy Botox and fillers. A lot of people swear by those laser treatments and that?s one of the rare celebrity indulgances that I would actually like to try. It does seem non-invasive and I would like to know how much it hurts (a smack in the face?). I wouldn?t get it though, because it?s crazy-expensive. According to the Daily Mail, Thermage treatments cost: ?full face (3,900), half face (2,900), or just eyes (1,900).? Crazy.
Oh, and Goop was hanging out with Jessica Seinfeld over the weekend. Jessica posted an IG photo with the message: ?Okay…take it from me…hang out with people who are way uglier than you….it makes you feel so much better about yourself.?

| Gwyneth Paltrow is such an 'elitist diva' that no one in TV will work with her' | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
I go back and forth on Gwyneth Paltrow?s career these days, and I?m talking about her acting career, not her side-projects with Goop and Tracy Anderson. Gwyneth is supposed to an actress, and an A-list actress at that. She?s won an Oscar, she?s worked with major directors, she?s told Courtney Love: ?Once you?re A-list, you?re always A-list.? I know how Gwyneth thinks of herself, and she sees herself as a movie star. But Gwyneth has also ?slummed it? on Glee and tried to make herself into a country singer, deigning to perform on country music shows and the like. I also think that film roles began drying up for Gwyneth several years ago, which is why she looked to amuse herself with projects like Goop. So, would Gwyneth deign to do TV on a more permanent basis? She might. But Star Mag says that TV doesn?t want her.
It isn?t just some of her fans who are fed up with Gwyneth Paltrow?s elitist antics ? Hollywood is following suit.
?Her difficult behavior and diminishing star power have made it difficult for her to get leading movie roles,? divulges an industry insider. Now Gwyneth has turned to her Plan B: a TV role. However Gwyneth?s diva ways aren?t any more welcome on the small screen.
?Networks have been interested in her, but she wants $1 million per episode ? and it?s ridiculous! Plus she wants control of casting and script changes. She drives people crazy, so they move on.?
The source says Gwyneth?s bad attitude cost her leading roles on two upcoming prime-time shows, CSI: Cyber and Bad Judge.
?Now she?s starting to panic, but unless she gets a reality check, this will keep happening. People won?t keep putting up with her forever.?
[From Star Magazine, print edition]
I really can?t see Gwyneth on a CSI spinoff, although the money would be great. She just wouldn?t do that, I think. But I could see her being interested in a premium cable show, like Masters of Sex (something like that) or even something that was built around her, like Halle Berry got with CBS?s Extant. Again, I?m of two minds on this ? I think Gwyneth probably needs the money and she needs a steady paycheck, because keeping up four massive properties around the world is expensive. But I also don?t think she would deign to do TV on a more permanent basis. In any case, Gossip Cop spoke to Gwyneth?s rep and he said the Star story is ?all made up.? But who believes Gwyneth?s rep these days? That?s the same person who was denying, denying, denying that there was any trouble in Gwyneth and Chris?s marriage.

| Gwyneth Paltrow recoupled with Chris Martin in the Hamptons: cross-promotion? | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

A few days ago, I was glancing through this week?s Goop-letter and I kind of gave up on Gwyneth Paltrow. I mean, I never really believed in Gwyneth or her message, but I enjoyed seeing her struggle to talk down to the peasants and try to make their lives more like hers. But these days, Gwyneth?s Goop-letters have been so? I can?t put my finger on it. They?re just paid advertisements for all of the fancy places she prefers, or they?re advertising for her various gurus and snake-oil salesmen. This week?s Goop-letter is all about the Hamptons, which is where Gwyneth summers annually. She usually ?takes off? for the month of August. As in, there are no Goop-letters for about five weeks while she?s on vacation. You don?t even know how hard she works though. The struggle of her life, the difficulties she faces talking down to people and deigning to recommend the perfect blow-dry bar in the Hamptons.
Anyway, in a brilliant stroke of cross-promotion, Page Six says that Gwyneth is already in the Hamptons? with Chris Martin.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin?s ?conscious recoupling? continues. The pair, who announced their separation in March, have been spotted together numerous times in the Hamptons this week.
Chris and Gwyneth dined with their children at Bay Kitchen Bar on Monday evening? in East Hampton. Then on Tuesday, Chris dropped into sports store Gubbins to pick up skateboards before heading to meet Gwyneth and their kids Apple and Moses at nearby Fierro?s Pizza.
One witness said, ?They were operating like a couple, and with the kids looked like a happy family.?
It?s been speculated that a reconciliation could be in the works. People magazine recently reported, ?They haven?t made any concrete decision to get back together yet, but clearly it?s a possibility .?.?. some of the pressure was just taken off.?
[From Page Six]
So, it?s happening. Chris came back to her. She gave him the space to figure out his sh-t and he came back to her. Does this make her more smug? Does she get to give interviews about how she has it all figured out and that she?s great at giving relationship advice? Here?s the thing: while I think she has every right to feel smug that Chris has returned to her, I don?t believe that much of the past year was on her terms. And I still don?t think her marriage is on her terms. I think Chris has done whatever (and whoever) he wanted and he will continue to do so.

| Gwyneth Paltrow has an entourage of 20 gurus, healers, therapists & fake doctors | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Star Magazine has an amazing story about Gwyneth Paltrow and her many, many ?gurus.? If you?ve been reading her Goop-letters for a while, you may know that Gwyneth seems to have a huge assortment of holistic healers, yoga gurus, herbalists, pseudo-doctors and questionable ?specialists? available to her at a moment?s notice. She often promotes their work, their theories, their ?specialties? and their fake sciences on Goop, and I?m consistently amazed at just how many of them Gwyneth seems to know personally. Turns out, she would make Edina Monsoon balk at the sheer size of her health/beauty/body/soul entourage.
For Gwyneth Paltrow, it really does take a village to keep her forever young!
?Gwyneth has an army of people looking after her health,? says a source revealing that the actress keeps a battalion of 20 medical care providers on call, including an allergist, blood analyst, naturopath and osteopath Vicky Vlachonis, whose actual skill set is murky.
She also has a stress-relief team comprising a meditation teacher, a yoga guru, a Qi Gong expert and not one but four different massage therapists for cupping, Rolfing, hot stones and shiatsu.
And while Gwyn touts herself as a kitchen all-star, her lithe figure is really due to her four nutritionists, three personal trainers and ?detox advocate? Dr. Alejandro Junger, who puts her on his signature cleanses.
?If anyone balks at all her gurus, she fires back that with her high-profile lifestyle, it?s necessary. Gwyneth should be the healthiest human walking the planet based on all the medical support she has!?
[From Star Magazine, print edition]
??Vicky Vlachonis, whose actual skill set is murky?? Let?s be real, almost all of these jobs are very ?murky.? I actually had to look up ?Rolfing? because I thought it was just the elite way of saying Gwyneth has an eating disorder (?She doesn?t have bulimia, darling, she just Rolfs.?) Does anyone else find it funny that Gwyneth doesn?t have a GP (general practitioner)? It doesn?t seem like ANY of the ?20 medical care providers on call? actually have a medical degree from an accredited medical school. Granted, I bet many of these healers have PhDs in Feelings from Sunbeam Granola University.
Sigh? this whole thing makes me sad. This is the very definition of #FirstWorldProblems. And what?s worse is that Gwyneth is only paying these people to tell her what she wants to hear ? I doubt her health situation is any better or worse than the average peasant on the street. It might even be worse considering all of those stupid cleanses.

| Have Gwyneth Paltrow & Chris Martin 'consciously recoupled' after 3 months' | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin might be reconciling. They might already be reconciled. As we already know, Chris hasn?t even moved out of their homes in LA, Malibu or London. They are still living together for the most part, although they?ve both been traveling so maybe they?re not in the same house at the same time for the most part. But The Daily Mirror had a lengthy piece over the weekend about how ?friends? say they?re pretty much back together now:
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have put their divorce plans on ice ? just three months after declaring they were ?consciously uncoupling?. Friends believe announcing the split to the world took the heat off their 10-year marriage ? and made the superstar pair realise what they were risking.
One friend said: ?It?s true they had problems but in the weirdest way this ?conscious uncoupling? situation has relieved the pressure on them. Gwyneth had ground rules about not immediately dating, respecting each other, keeping things happy for their two children and communicating throughout but it seems to have acted as a wake-up call. Chris still lives with her, they are amazingly lovey-dovey together and she still wears her wedding ring. They may have consciously uncoupled a few months ago ? but they seem to be recoupling now. No one will be surprised if they get back together.?
One friend even compared Gwyneth, 41, and Chris, 37, to legendary Hollywood couple Liz Taylor and Richard Burton and their famous can?t-live-with-can?t-live-without relationship.
The pal said: ?There?s definitely something of Burton and Taylor in them. But Chris and Gwyn did things in a very different way. There was a lot of talking, a lot of analysis ? probably too much ? and when they decided to call it a day, actually what they?d done was clear the air and given each other an exit route. I think both of them saw it ? and then looked at what they have.?
[From The Mirror]
Liz & Dick? Are you kidding me?!?! Gwyneth WISHES. Elizabeth Taylor lived and loved passionately, wrecklessly, dangerously. Richard Burton was a genius tortured by alcoholism. Please, DO NOT compare Gwyneth ?Juice Fast? Paltrow and Chris ?Shall I Write A Dirge About This?? Martin to Taylor-Burton.
Anyway, the going theory is that Chris fell for Alexa Chung while he was married, Gwyneth couldn?t handle it so that?s why they split. Chris went to be with Alexa and Alexa might not be AS interested anymore, so that?s why Chris went back to Gwyneth. Because his mistress probably dumped him. Still, I imagine Gwyneth will be extra insufferable if she and Chris are really back together.

| Gwyneth Paltrow thinks you can change water molecules by being mean to them | Added 10 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
This story is literally a week old, but it?s slow this week and some sites have only just started to cover it. In last week?s Goop-letter, Gwyneth Paltrow shilled for one of her snake-oil salesmen, some guy who presents himself as a medical doctor. That?s been one of the most amazing things about Gwyneth?s Goop ? we get an insider?s look at the people Gwyneth surrounds herself with, and while I believe there are many celebrities who surround themselves with yes-men and enablers, the fact that Gwyneth doesn?t know the difference is somewhat unsettling. She will fall for anything having to do New Age crap, diets, juice fasts or ?energies.? This was her Goop-letter:
I am fascinated by the growing science behind the energy of consciousness and its effects on matter. I have long had Dr. Emoto’s coffee table book on how negativity changes the structure of water, how the molecules behave differently depending on the words or music being expressed around it. Below, Dr. Sadeghi explores further.
Also we went to NYC last week and crushed a number of spots that deserve to make an update (and some that don’t).
Plus some other bits, remixes, and the like.
Love,
Gp
[From Goop]
You read that correctly. Gwyneth is promoting the work of Masaru Emoto, who conducts experiments where he literally hurts the feelings of water samples (he yells at the water) and then he freezes the samples and the water freezes in an unpleasant way. But he praises other water samples and freezes them and they freeze in a pleasant way. Basically, Gwyneth surrounds herself with people who think you shouldn?t yell at water because you?ll hurt water?s feelings. And that water changes at a molecular level because of feelings.
I stopped myself short of calling this crap a pseudo-science because? well, God knows. There?s scientific evidence to suggest that plants have energies and they respond to positive and negative stimuli, so maybe water is the same, although ?feelings? won?t change water on a molecular level. That?s not the point. The point is that this is what Gwyneth spends her time thinking about ? energies and water and how we?re all being ?negative? and changing her molecular structure. She?s an idiot.
