It is too funny that, on the same evening Donald Trump got indicted, Gwyneth Paltrow was ?acquitted? in her ski trial. Trump indicted, Goop innocent! Gwyneth was the defendant in a civil trial over a 2016 ski accident on the bunny slopes of Park City, Utah. Terry Sanderson tried to claim that Gwyneth crashed into him and left him with broken bones and head trauma. Gwyneth said no, Sanderson crashed into me and people did check on him. The jury believed Gwyneth and they awarded her the $1 she was asking for. Vindication!
The jury reached a verdict in the civil trial between Gwyneth Paltrow and Terry Sanderson over a ski collision that happened seven years ago. After less than three hours of deliberations on Thursday, the jury in Park City, Utah, found that Paltrow, 50, was not at fault and that retired optometrist Sanderson, 76, was at fault 100 percent and that it caused the actress harm. The jury awarded her $1.
Over the course of the two-week proceedings, the jury was tasked with determining what Paltrow and Sanderson did before and after the Feb. 26, 2016, incident, who was the downhill skier, and who crashed into whom.
Paltrow says in a statement obtained by PEOPLE, I felt that acquiescing to a false claim compromised my integrity. I am pleased with the outcome and I appreciate all of the hard work of Judge Holmberg and the jury, and thank them for their thoughtfulness in handling this case.
Her attorney Stephen Owens adds, We are pleased with this unanimous outcome and appreciate the judge and jurys thoughtful handling of the case. Gwyneth has a history of advocating for what she believes in ? this situation was no different and she will continue to stand up for what is right.
Sandersons attorney C. Peter Sorensen said in a statement, We are disappointed in the outcome, but we love and support the legal process. We thank Judge Holmberg, the jury and staff for all their efforts. We will spend the next while evaluating and discussing where we go from here.
While exiting the courtroom after the verdict was revealed, Paltrow leaned in and briefly whispered to Sanderson before continuing to leave. Sanderson confirmed to Extra that she said, I wish you well, and he responded, Thank you, dear. He told the outlet that was very kind of her.
[From People]
Yeah, Gwyneth leaning over and saying ?I wish you well? to the guy who spent years trying to sue her for millions of dollars is? cold as ice. As someone joked, that?s Brentwood-speak for ?go fk yourself.? Anyway, it?s remarkable to see as Gwyneth has come out of this smelling like a rose! In the Gossip with Celebitchy podcast coming out this weekend, I even admitted that I believed her version of events but that doesn?t change the fact that Gwyneth is an objectively terrible person. It?s just in this one particular case, she was not at fault.
Gwyneth Paltrow is INNOCENT! And, even more importantly, is now $1 richer. JUSTICE IS SERVED! https://t.co/3L3RzhBjSz pic.twitter.com/Tt34Inlr2t

Y?all, the Gwyneth Paltrow ski trial is going to break me. I cannot believe the sheer number of people obsessed with watching the live stream and posting clips from it! To recap, Gwyneth is being sued by an elderly man named Terry Sanderson (a retired optometrist) because Sanderson claims Paltrow plowed into him on a Park City bunny slope in 2016. Sanderson had significant injuries and, initially, he was trying to sue Paltrow for millions of dollars. As the lawsuit made its way through the pre-trial motions, the damages were capped for some reason, so now Sanderson is only suing Paltrow for $300K. Paltrow, meanwhile, is asking for $1 in damages, plus her legal fees.
On Friday, Gwyneth took the stand in her own defense and it was bonkers. She seemed like what she is: an unrepentant elitist and narcissist. Paltrow claimed that the crash made her miss ?half a day of skiing.? She also claimed that Sanderson was the one who plowed into her and she believed it was a sexual assault at first because she didn?t know what was happening and ?there was a body pressing against me and a very strange grunting noise.? She also claimed that a ski instructor stopped Sanderson after the crash and asked how he was doing. Sanderson?s side has an eyewitness who says it did not go down that way at all. Meanwhile, Paltrow?s PR is working overtime and they got this exclusive in People:
Gwyneth Paltrow feels icky about the ongoing Park City, Utah, civil court case involving a 2016 skiing incident, a source tells PEOPLE.
Any involvement in a trial is stressful. Gwyneth has felt icky about it, the source says. For her, the situation is even worse since the trial is streamed and she has a camera in her face every day. Its a very uncomfortable situation. Its very stressful.
Paltrow?s two kids ? daughter Apple, now 18, and son Moses, now 16 ? are expected to testify at some point during the trial, along with her husband Brad Falchuk. They were all there the day of the incident seven years ago.
She isnt happy that her children are involved either. This really has nothing to do with them, the source says. They were minors when the accident happened. The source adds, [Paltrow] isnt really speculating about what the outcome of the trial will be. This is not her focus. She just wants it to be over.
[From People]
Lord, what if Apple and Moses throw their mother under the bus and go off-script during the trial? Well, I?ll laugh. Anyway, enjoy all of the clips and memes.

| Gwyneth Paltrow claims she's only doing a restrictive diet because she has long Covid | Added 614 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Last week, Gwyneth Paltrow did a podcast interview and the whole thing went viral for several reasons. One, Gwyneth was hooked up to an IV as she did the interview, and she extolled the virtues of being a constant IV-user and even bragged about being an ?early adopter? of recreational IV use. In the pod interview, she also talked about her sad-sack diet, describing how she has bone broth for lunch most days and barely eats a Paleo diet for dinner. TikTokers ripped into her for being an Almond Mom and for pushing her disordered eating on everyone through her Goop empire. While Gwyneth has always been like this, it?s nice to see new generations get outraged at Gwyneth?s extreme diet-culture dressed up as ?wellness.?
Well, a funny thing happened after clips of the pod went viral, Gwyneth saw that she was once again facing a huge backlash for being too rich to swallow vitamins, and for making her vitamin deficiency everyone?s problem. So she addressed it on her social media, saying that the pod interview was actually done with her doctor and she was describing the specific diet she was on because she?s dealing with long Covid.
Gwyneth Paltrow blamed ?very high levels of inflammation? and long COVID for her wellness tips that have since been dubbed a ?starvation diet.?
?I have been working to really focus on foods that aren?t inflammatory, [and] it?s been working really well,? the actress said on her Instagram Story Friday. ?This is based on my medical results and extensive testing I?ve done over time,? the 50-year-old added, noting that her daily diet wasn?t ?meant to be advice for anyone else.?
Paltrow, who made headlines this week after describing her intermittent fasts, bone broth lunches and paleo dinners on the ?Art of Being Well? podcast, said her habits have ?been very powerful and positive? for her. The Oscar winner clarified that she doesn?t eat those routine foods ?all day every day.?
Paltrow claimed to ?eat far more than bone broth and vegetables,? saying, ?I eat full meals. I also have days where I eat whatever I want, French fries or whatever.
?My baseline has been to try to eat healthy and try to eat foods that really calm the system down,? the ?Shakespeare in Love? star continued.
[From Page Six]
She always does this, because she?s a liar. She?s either lying about her disordered eating, her crazy elimination diets, her ?intermittent fasts? and her (horsesh-t) inflammation-reduction diets, OR she?s lying about eating French fries and real meals. I know what I think she?s lying about in many ways, her Goop newsletter was a window into her starving, disordered soul, and my guess is that Gwyneth?s broken, nutrient-deficient brain doesn?t even realize how fking crazy she sounds half the time. So her publicist is like ?just tell them you eat French fries!?
Now, shes talked about having long covid before, and I buy that shes still dealing with that. Im not a doctor, I have no idea if this restrictive diet actually helps the effects of long covid. What I do know is that Gwyneths answer to every medical malady is to starve herself.

I?m sorry but this is basically starving and that?s why her skin is falling off the bone?.You need food and oils to live.Eating bone broth is not a meal I?m sorry. Idgaf what y?all say. When did you first realize that Gwyneth Paltrow is nothing more than a snob promoting disordered eating? I realized it more than a decade ago, when she ?wrote? a cookbook all about her elimination diet and it read like someone who has a profoundly unhealthy relationship with food. That combined with the first years of her Goop newsletter, which were mostly about her various ?detox diets? and ?intermittent fasts.? She?s bragged about doctors telling her that she?s dreadfully unhealthy and she?s not getting enough nutrients, but she?s spent decades being the poster girl for seriously unhealthy fad diets dressed up as ?wellness.? Well, now a new generation of celeb-watchers is figuring out that Paltrow is an OG of disordered eating. TikTokers ripped Paltrow to shreds for being an ?almond mom,? a term I?m just hearing for the first time. According to internet slang, an almond mom is ?a parent who imparts unhealthy food beliefs or disordered eating on their child.? That?s 100% Gwyneth Paltrow. Only it?s not just Gwyneth imposing this on her kids, this is the foundation of her entire Goop empire.
Gwyneth Paltrow is nothing if not controversial. The wellness guru has been dragged by TikTok users for being an ?almond mom? ? a term used for adults who push disordered eating onto their children ? following a recent podcast interview.
Paltrow, 50, appeared on Monday?s episode of ?The Art of Being Well,? and broke down her daily wellness routine while administering an IV.
?I?m really embarrassing myself right here,? the Oscar winner said of the IV in her arm. ?I love an IV, I?m an early IV adopter,? she continued, noting Glutathione and Phosphatidylcholine were her two of favorites. ?They?re quite hard to find, and those make me feel so good.?
As for her daily wellness routine, Paltrow revealed she intermittent fasts and eats something ?that won?t spike [her] blood sugar? around 12 p.m.
?I love soup ? I have bone broth for a lot of the days,? she said. ?I try to do one hour of movement, so I?ll go for a walk or I?ll do pilates or I?ll do my Tracy Anderson [workouts].?
The Goop founder then dry brushes in the sauna for 30 minutes and has a vegetable-heavy dinner in line with the paleo diet to ?support [her] detox.?
TikTok users were quick to comment on Paltrow?s makeup-free appearance, and just how ?out of touch? her routine actually is.
?Insufferable,? a user bluntly commented. ?She looks physically sick so how much are these IVs really helping??? one person wrote, while another suggested she was ?too rich to swallow vitamins whole.?
?The mother of all almond moms,? a fourth person chimed in, while another added, ?what is she detoxing from if she doesn?t eat??
[From Page Six]
I am laughing my ass off at ?too rich to swallow vitamins whole.? That?s exactly what it is. Imagine being so rich and so out of touch that you just wander around, paying for IVs instead of eating a healthy diet! Like, Gwyneth has never argued that people should simply eat in moderation, remember to get your leafy greens and try not to eat too many potato chips. The complete goal, for Gwyneth, is to simply eat as little as possible and to constantly be in a state of vitamin deficiency so severe that she has an IV connection. I love the term ?almond mom? too I?m glad the youths are calling it out and creating a term for what this is.

| Gwyneth Paltrow: In the '90s, you could 'do cocaine and not get caught' | Added 680 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Gwyneth Paltrow was one of the coolest It Girls in the 1990s. It was all about Gwyneth, Winona and Kate Moss. There were others, but those were the Big Three. They were impossibly chic not that they cared and they dated the coolest guys at the time (many of whom turned out to be giant losers). You get the point: Gwyneth was cool and popular. Paparazzi trailed her. The tabloids loved her. But it was still the ?90s she could still have a private life, she could still go to parties and hook up with randos and do rails in the club bathroom.
Gwyneth Paltrow was living the high life in the 1990s. The Goop founder reflected on the raucous decade that benefited from a society without cellphone cameras and social media, meaning she and other people could get away with illicit activities.
?It was great. I mean, talk about doing cocaine and not getting caught!? Paltrow said on ?The Late Late Show with James Corden? Monday, laughing. ?Like, you could just be at a bar and be, like, having fun, dance on a table, you could ? no camera phones, especially in New York. Interestingly enough, there were no paparazzi,? she continued. ?You could stumble out of a bar and go home with some rando and no one would know.?
[From Page Six]
Eh, she was trailed by paparazzi, but maybe she?s saying that it didn?t happen that often in New York, which is possible. I remember when she was with Brad Pitt, there were always paparazzi photos of her in LA. Maybe she always disappeared in the crowd a lot easier in NYC. But yeah? everything has changed for celebrities, but for regular old people too. I have no idea what it?s like for the peeps in their early 20s now are they going to clubs, doing blow, picking up a rando and nothing ever gets documented on their phones or their friends? phones? I mean??? (And yes, Gwyneth did coke. Of course she did!)

Here are some photos of Gwyneth Paltrow at a Tuesday event in Beverly Hills. The event? Veuve Clicquot?s Solaire Culture Exhibit. Gwyneth wore a Carolina Herrera dress with an awkward midriff cutout. Cutouts cycle in and out of style every couple of years and I hate that we?re in the middle of another ?in style? cycle. In my opinion, I think this would have been such a stronger look for Gwyneth without the cutout? The thin stripes are also giving me a headache.

| Gwyneth Paltrow: Nepotism babies have to 'work twice as hard & be twice as good' | Added 848 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Last year, Karen Elson was on the cover of InStyle, and her profile was so good. She spoke about the bitchiness within the modeling industry, and how young models need to feel empowered to talk about finances. Elson also spoke about nepotism in a very real way, saying ?I?m not trying to slight anybody here, but it helped if you came from a certain background. I have a problem with people judging a person because they were just born into a certain thing. They can?t help that. But with the fickleness of fashion, they love when you?re the daughter of someone.? That?s been stuck in my head for months, it?s so succinct: they love when you?re the daughter of someone. I bring up Elson?s words because Gwyneth Paltrow and Hailey Bieber, two nepotism aholes, decided to talk about how hard it is to get so many breaks because of nepotism.
A famous last name will only get you so far, at least according to Gwyneth Paltrow. While paying a visit to Hailey Bieber for an episode of her YouTube series Whos in my Bathroom?, the Oscar winning actress opened up about the concept of nepotism in Hollywood, saying celebrity kids arent as advantaged in the industry as some may think.
As the child of someone, you get access other people dont have, so the playing field is not level in that way, Gwyneth told Hailey on the July 27 episode. However, I really do feel that once your foot is in the door, which you unfairly got in, then you almost have to work twice as hard and be twice as good.
Why, you may ask? As she shared, Because people are ready to pull you down and say You dont belong there or You are only there because of your dad or your mom.
Dishing out advice to the nepo babies out there, Gwyneth said the label shouldnt limit their dreams, adding that nobody in the world, especially anyone who doesnt know you, shouldnt have a negative impact on your path or the decision that you make.
The inspiring message seemed to resonate with Hailey, 25, with the host responding, I need to hear this today.
[From E! News]
?Then you almost have to work twice as hard and be twice as good?? Gwyneth Paltrow: Privilege Is A Prison, I Swear. She?s really trying to make the case that nepo babies have it so hard? That nepo babies are marginalized within Hollywood? LMAO. What?s crazy is that she really believes it. I?m sure there are tons of people who look at nepo babies and say ?you?re only here because of your mom or dad.? They say it because it?s the truth. Gwyneth?s early career was BUILT on the fact that her parents are Bruce Paltrow and Blythe Danner, and that Steven Spielberg is her godfather and a close family friend. Hollywood and Fashion: they love when you?re the daughter of someone.

| Gwyneth Paltrow on her sidelined acting career: 'I really don't miss it at all' | Added 854 days ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Do you ?miss? Gwyneth Paltrow as an actress? I don?t. I?ll even say something nice about Gwyneth she made some good movies and gave some good performances and, dare I say, some underrated performances. But I still don?t really miss her as an actress, and I don?t think it?s weird or awful that she?s stepped away from acting for the most part. Even when she was married to Chris Martin, it felt like she was phasing out her acting career, mostly because she wanted to raise her children. That?s what Goop sprang out of too she wasn?t getting scripts, the scripts she did get were bad, and she wanted a little project she could do from home. When Goop kept getting bigger and bigger, Gwyneth walked away from most acting jobs, save the Marvel stuff and The Politician (which her husband produced). The Today Show?s Willie Geist interviewed Gwyneth and he asked her about her acting career.
Gwyneth Paltrow is not longing to jump back into her acting career. I??n an exclusive clip from Paltrows interview on Sunday TODAY with Willie Geist, the Goop CEO, 49, opens up about putting acting on the back burner in favor of becoming an entrepreneur.
I really dont miss it all. I think Im so lucky that I got to do it, and Im sure I still will at some point, she says of her acting career. The team is always trying to get me to do a movie, but I really love what I do and I love how immediate it is and how ? were able to create product out of thin air that we believe in so much.
The Oscar winner says the experience of developing products for her lifestyle brand Goop is so powerful. Paltrow adds that she doesnt daydream about the movie business at all.
However, The Politician alum does plan to return to her acting roots to fulfill a promise to her mother Blythe Danner.
I did promise my mother at some point before I die, I told her I would go and do a play so ? Im gonna deliver on that promise at some point, she says.
[From People]
In another clip, Geist asks Gwyneth what it would take to get her back in front of a camera and she said ?if my husband was doing something and wanted me to do it, I would do it.? Which makes sense. I don?t know? I get why people are ass-kissy about it to Gwyneth?s face and I?m sure she loves that people are like ?oh, we wish you were still acting in movies,? but isn?t the point of all of this that Gwyneth is better than everyone? That she figured it out and had the best of all worlds? She?s an Oscar-winning actress with a good IMDB page, she got to raise her children and she started a successful lifestyle business.

It?s a wonder more big-name fashion houses don?t do runway shows in LA. Whenever a designer/label decides to show in LA like, Tom Ford, or in this case Gucci?s Alessandro Michele there is sooo much interest, and they always get a huge celebrity turnout. Most LA-dwelling celebrities don?t want to make the journey to Paris or Milan for the shows. But they?ll come out for a fashion event if the runway is Hollywood Boulevard. That?s what Gucci did they rented out Hollywood Blvd last night for a star-studded open-air runway show. Serena Williams, Lizzo, James Corden, Anjelica Huston, Vanessa Bryant, Billie Eilish, Miley Cyrus and Diane Keaton were just some of the celebrities in attendance, and I?m not even going to post their photos!
I just wanted to talk about a handful of celebrities in attendance. Like Gwyneth Paltrow, who has worn Gucci for much of her adult life. I thought Gwyneth was incredibly boring for recycling her Tom Ford-for-Gucci ?90s red suit for this show. But no, she didn?t pull this one of her archives. This was Michele ?reimagining? Gwyneths famous red suit. He reimagined it so hard it looks exactly the same. Here?s the suit in 1996. There?s no difference.
