Making their second awards circuit red carpet appearance in the past three days, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were all dressed up during their night out in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan on Monday night (January 9).
The Hollywood power couple happened to be making their arrival at the 77th Annual New York Film Critics' Circle Awards, as Pitt was named as Best Actor for his pair of performances over the past twelve months in "Moneyball" and "The Tree of Life" - an honor he also was doted with at this past weekend's Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala.
Other big winners chosen by the New York Film Critics' Circle included the Michel Hazanavicius directed film "The Artist" as Best Picture and Meryl Streep as Best Actress for her role as Margaret Thatcher in "The Iron Lady".

Yesterday was a huge day in Palm Springs! The Palm Springs International Film Festival handed out awards to several of the big players in this year?s awards season. Palm Springs is the biggest event for the Hollywood crowd right before the one-two punch of the Critics Choice and Golden Globes awards shows, and yes, I know I?m leaving out the People?s Choice. Hardly anyone goes to the People?s Choice Awards these days! Anyway, Brad Pitt was honored with an award for Moneyball and Tree of Life, and of course, Angelina Jolie got all dolled up in a sack dress for the occasion.
Angelina?s sack dress isn?t really a sack dress though. It?s a sack jumpsuit! Elie Saab makes sack jumpsuits now! And I know I?m just stirring the pot here and that I?m letting the tabloid reports about Angelina?s womb influence by opinion, but seriously, Angelina looks kind of knocked up to me. It?s the way the ?sack? part of the jumpsuit is falling in her mid-section. It?s also that her boobs look big and she looks really happy – a sure sign that she?s knocked up? Just putting that out there. Also: she looks really pretty here, sack or no sack. Her skin looks gorge, and I really like what she?s done with her hair. She got a cut, and she added some highlights in front.
Brad?s other accessory (besides the beautiful woman on his arm) was his cane. We saw him with the cane last week, coming out a skin-care spa, wearing a black onesie. While Brad was on the red carpet, he talked about why he was sporting the cane. Hint: It wasn?t because Angelina kneecapped him! Brad claims that he ?wiped out on a ski slope while carrying one of his twins. He twisted his knee and suffered some ACL damage in the process,? according to Entertainment Tonight. Wait, what? He was skiing while carrying a kid? I still prefer the “Angelina kneecapped him” story.

Taking care of some personal business, Brad Pitt was spotted leaving a skin care spa in Beverly Hills, CA on Thursday (January 5).
The ?Moneyball? star sported shades and a black jumpsuit while emerging from the place of relaxation using the assistance of a cane - with the reason behind the walking aid unknown at the time.
In other news, Pitt?s film ?World War Z? ? which hits theaters on December 21st - is being considered as a potential trilogy.
Reportedly, the movie?s director and Paramount Pictures are in talks of making the ?post-apocalyptic horror film? as a triple-offering, making it Brad?s first big movie franchise.

Grabbing a few groceries in preparation for their New Year's Eve celebration, Brad Pitt and son Pax were spotted shopping at Gelson's Market in Los Feliz, California over the holiday weekend (December 31).
Dressed in jackets and sneakers for their casual errand run, the pair could be seen toting their goods out of the store before riding away on the "Moneyball" star's motorcycle complete with a sidecar for little Pax.
In other news, Brad's partner, Angelina Jolie, recently surprised him with the purchase of a piece of land that contains a waterfall Pitt had been eying, according to reports.
Of the gift, a source told the London Daily Mail, ?Brad has always loved Fallingwater and his first trip there was unforgettable. Angelina wanted to get him something incredibly special and, because she knows how much he loves architecture, she thought this would be perfect.?

What would it be like to be incredibly wealthy and have the time, energy and inclination to spend money on incredible gifts for your loved ones? For Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, the gifts don?t seem to include Elizabeth Taylor-level jewelry, which is disappointing. I would love it if Brad was always buying Angelina jewelry. Alas, I don?t think Brad?s big on that. But Angelina still gives Brad the perfect presents, the gifts that keep on giving, at least according to The Mail. Their sources claim that for Brad?s 48th birthday a few weeks ago, Angelina gave Brad a waterfall. Like, she bought a swath of property that included a waterfall, and now Brad wants to design a house for their family ON the waterfall.
Brad Pitt has completely fallen for his Christmas present from Angelina Jolie ? a waterfall in California. The star now plans to take time out from his movie career to build an ambitious house over the falls near LA in the style of his favourite American architect, Frank Lloyd Wright.
The actor celebrated his 48th birthday on December 18 with Angelina, 36, and their six children and Angie told him that the falls and surrounding land were his birthday and Christmas presents.
A thrilled Pitt is now planning to embark on an ambitious and exotic building project emulating the design of Lloyd Wright’s 1939 masterpiece Fallingwater, which was built in Pennsylvania on a similar piece of land. The pair visited the house in 2006.
‘Brad has always loved Fallingwater and his first trip there was unforgettable,’ says a friend. ‘Angelina wanted to get him something incredibly special and, because she knows how much he loves architecture, she thought this would be perfect. She hopes this will be a hideaway for the family. Brad has dreamed of a home with the sound of a waterfall cascading under the house.’
The couple recently sold their Malibu home to star Ellen DeGeneres.
‘Brad has always wanted to design his own house. He wants to pull all aspects of nature, light, glass and varying levels into the concept,’ says the friend. ‘This is the present to top all presents.’ Brad has said he’d like to give up his Hollywood life, declaring: ‘While acting is my career, architecture is my passion.’

A waterfall house would be amazing? although probably not the best idea with six young children, you know? ?Where?s Knox? OMG HE?S IN THE WATERFALL.? Angelina did ?gift? Brad with a trip to Fallingwater in 2006 – there was even a lovely photo of the couple at the site. Anyway, even though I find Brad?s obsession with real estate, remodeling and architecture rather annoying, it seems like Angelina thinks it?s a nice occupation for Brad to have, and she encourages it. I guess Brad is almost done with the remodel to French chateau, so he?s probably looking for a new project.

Brad Pitt got to celebrate his 48th birthday with his family this weekend, in Las Vegas. That?s a thing for him, isn?t it? I feel like Brad and Angelina go to Vegas for his birthday often. One year, wasn?t it a boxing match? Anyway, for this year?s festivities, Brad didn?t get a date night with his girl, he got family-friendly entertainment by way of the Cirque Du Soleil. Yes, Brad, Angelina and the kids all went to see Michael Jackson The Immortal. We don?t have the blurry photos of the Jolie-Pitts in Vegas – you can see them here.
Brad Pitt?s birthday weekend was quite a “thriller”!
The Moneyball star, who turns 48 on Sunday, was joined by longtime love Angelina Jolie and their six children in Las Vegas Saturday night to experience the Michael Jackson The Immortal, the Cirque Du Soleil touring show.
“They had great seats, sitting right beside the stage,” a source said. “They really seemed to enjoy the show. The performers didn’t know they were there and a few of them recognized them while they were on stage, so it was pretty exciting.”
After giving a standing ovation, Pitt, donning round glasses, Jolie, wearing a light grey dress, and the children left just as the cast gave final bows. The family spent the night at the lavish Four Seasons.

Anyway, happy 48th birthday to Brad – his official birthday was yesterday, and throughout last week, Brad received some early birthday presents in the form of major Best Actor nominations for Moneyball. He?s been nominated for a Golden Globe, a SAG, a Critics Choice, and I feel comfortable saying that he?s one the shoo-ins for an Oscar nomination. I?m very happy that this awards season will be full of Brangelina.

Once again stepping out for her directorial debut, Angelina Jolie was joined by Brad Pitt for the red carpet premiere of "In the Land of Blood and Honey" in Los Angeles on Thursday night (December 8).
With the 36-year-old actress donning a Romona Keveza dress with Jimmy Choo heels,while her man suited up in Tom Ford, the Hollywood power couple took time to pose for a few snapshots before heading inside the ArcLight Cinemas venue to mingle with guests including Angelina's dad, Jon Voight, as well as No Doubt rocker pal Gwen Stefani.
As for Miss Jolie's new film, "In the Land of Blood and Honey" reveals a love affair between a Serbian male and a Bosnian female during the 1992 Bosnian War.
Of the effort, she recently told USA Today, ?I?ve always been drawn to war films. I did love directing. If I?m allowed, if I?m accepted, I will do it again. I am still very shy about it.?
Set for a December 23rd here in the States, the movie was made in both English and Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian language.

Stepping out for her directorial debut, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt took to the red carpet premiere of "In the Land of Blood and Honey" in New York City tonight (December 5).
Looking like the portrait of perfection in a pair of black ensembles, the Hollywood power couple took time to pose for a few snapshots before heading inside the Big Apple School of Visual Arts.
Once inside Brangelina worked the press area alongside one another with the lovely "Wanted" star also taking turns alongside Pitt's parents, Bill and Jane, as well as her movie's stars, Zana Marjanovic and Goran Kostic.
As for the film itself, "In the Land of Blood and Honey" reveals a love affair between a Serbian male and a Bosnian female during the 1992 Bosnian War.

This week?s tabloids are full of bizarre and negative stories about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. I was going to cover some of them, but then I saw this bizarre story of something that actually happened to Brad. According to Us Weekly, while Brad and Jonah Hill were doing a screening of Moneyball this past weekend, a ?distraught? man confessed to suicidal thoughts during the Q&A session.
Brad Pitt was a real pal to a stranger in need on Sunday. Following a special screening of Moneyball at the Cary Grant Theatre in Culver City, Calif. on Sunday, the star, 47, encountered a distraught man during a Q&A session with hundreds of fans.
According to an attendee, a 30-something struggling actor announced to Pitt, costar Jonah Hill and the crowd that he was battling suicidal thoughts alone in his car before the night’s event– but the film gave him “a renewed sense of hope.”
(In the acclaimed film, Pitt plays real-life Oakland A’s general manager Billy Beane, who built a champion team using computer-generated analysis to draft its player.)
“It was a really awkward moment,” the attendee tells Us, adding that the actor got “choked up” as he revealed his battles to the crowd.
But Pitt didn’t flinch, the witness says. “He said, ‘Look, man, life is up and down, it’s a vicious cycle, but you have to go through it and deal with that,’” the observer reveals.
The father of six and longtime love to Angelina Jolie continued in his pep talk: “‘You can be down, but then you come back up again, and every failure can lead to success.’”
“It was a touching moment,” adds a second observer. “As he left the theatre he even stopped to talk with the guy to offer him some more words of encouragement because he was obviously fragile.”
Marvels the first witness: “Brad handled the situation really well in front of several hundred people — it was a difficult moment that shocked everyone.”

I do think Brad handled it well. What are you supposed to do when a stranger lays down that kind of emotional confession at your feet? Hopefully the pep talk helped that dude.
Should we move on to less weighty subject matter? The Enquirer has a rough story about Brad and the uncool Bermuda Triangle plus Chelsea Handler. I was going to ignore this story, but I?ve seen other versions of this, and it?s a blind item too, so I?m wondering if there isn?t a kernel of truth to it. Here?s the basic gist:
Brad backed out of a TV interview with Chelsea Handler after both Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston blew a gasket.
?Talk about bad choices,? said an insider. ?Brad really got raked over the coals by Angie and Jen. For Brad, it?s all business. He just wanted to promote his movies.?
But Angelina is still harboring a lot of resentment towards Chelsea Handler after Chelsea?s profanity-laced rant in New Jersey last December.
Brad also got an earful from Jennifer, who was livid that he was trying to buddy up to Chelsea, one of her closet friends.
?Brad had to beg off the invite with the lame excuse that he couldn?t make it due to ?film commitments,?? said the insider.

What is more unlikely, that Chelsea Handler would agree to have Pitt on her show, or that Brad would agree to appear on Chelsea Lately? I don?t know – I think they?re both unlikely. The kernel of truth might have been that the studio booked Brad on some television shows, and Chelsea Lately might have been one of the shows in contention, but nothing came of it. Plus, there?s the CAA connection – Chelsea is with CAA now, and Brad has been with CAA for a while. I think Brad is hustling for an Oscar, but I doubt he would chat with Chelsea for his campaign? right?

Bringing an end to a relaxing holiday weekend, Jennifer Aniston was alongside boyfriend Justin Theroux as the couple took their pet pooch for a stroll in Beverly Hills, CA on Sunday (November 27).
Keeping herself warm with a scarf and a long sleeve t-shirt, the former "Friends" actress and her "Wanderlust" co-star looked to be enjoying their afternoon stroll as they chatted amongst one another while followed closely by a bodyguard during the midday walk.
The sighting comes amidst reports telling that Miss Aniston had a near run-in with ex-husband Brad Pitt at the Arclight Cinemas in Hollywood on Friday.
With Pitt said to have been exiting a 2PM showing of "Hugo" with his family just minutes before Jennifer and Justin turned up for a later movie, a source told X17, "Justin and Jennifer skipped the popcorn and went straight in. Like five minutes later, Brad and the kids came out of the theater. They just missed each other!"
