Sofia Vergara has a new beauty-focused interview in People Magazine to promote her new fragrance, Love, which is out now. Just like her red carpet interview at the Emmy’s she’s kind of cross-promoting her perfume with her wedding to Joe Manganiello, slated for November. Sofia is smart and she’s a shrewd businesswoman. She knows that her romance sells and she’s trying to capitalize on that with this second perfume. Unfortunately, as we’ve seen with her sexy but entirely one-note style, Sofia has some old-fashioned ideas about beauty and styling. She told People that she doesn’t think that women should put their hair up from the ages of 40-60. What?!
What will your wedding look be?
Personally, I don?t like the natural look that some brides do. I?m 43; I don?t really need to look like a virgin getting married. I want to look sexy? with a bold lip.
Will your hair be up or down?
Down! I think women, once they hit 40, they shouldn?t put their hair up again until they?re 60.
On a typical day, if you have five minutes to get ready, what do you put on?
Concealer. I don?t wear foundation every day, sometimes just bronzer. I fill in my eyebrows. Blush. I?ve never, ever been without lipstick and mascara. I never do five minutes, but I can do it in 10?
Do you things like facial masks around Joe?
No. There are things that I don?t think you should do outside of your bathroom!

I can relate to Sofia’s position on makeup as I never leave the house without putting my face on. I just feel like a different person without makeup. However I do love a tight pony and I don’t think it’s too young for me. What is she even saying here? One thing I will give her is that ponytails damage your hair. My hairdresser told me to stop pulling mine too tight or to braid my hair instead as he was starting to see breakage. So I’ve had to use clips to put my hair back when I work out. It’s frustrating as the clips don’t stay in when I’m jumping around and it doesn’t look as polished as a ponytail.
This makes me wonder what Sofia does when she goes to the gym. I found some paparazzi photos of her outside the gym and she has her hair down with a baseball cap over it. Doesn’t that get so sweaty and uncomfortable? She’s so dedicated to a look she considers feminine that she doesn’t even put her hair up for the gym. I wonder what she thinks about short hair.

Sofia Vergara plugged her perfume like a pro at last night’s Emmy awards. That’s about all I took away from her interview with Ryan Seacrest. Oh and she’s also getting married to Joe Manganiello in November, which we’ve known for some time. Otherwise Sofia looked just about the same as she does at every awards ceremony, which is to say incredible albeit predictable. She loves strapless fitted gowns and she wears her hair down. Here she is in metallic St. John.
Also in a mermaid gown but looking much sharper we have Ariel Winter in red Romona Keveza. Ariel switches it up often so she can pull off this look without reminding us of every other red carpet she’s walked. Also, it feels creepy to admit I know this, but Ariel, 17, recently had a breast reduction. I would imagine she’s much more comfortable wearing fashion. This glamorous look is perfect for the Emmys, which is probably why Vergara repeats it so often. Ariel was there with her boyfriend, Laurent Claude Gaudette. They are adorable together.
Here’s fellow Modern Family star Julie Bowen in black full length Georges Chakra. This dress is a bit plain, with the exception of the additional shoulder strap, and there’s something off about her styling. The gown needs more color or details.
Sarah Hyland hit just the right combination of sexy and classic in this eggplant off the shoulder Zac Posen. This dress hugs her perfectly and her hair and makeup are impressive.

Long before his ?Modern Family? days, Ed O?Neill was best-known as a disgruntled shoe salesman named Al Bundy on ?Married? With Children.?
And the 69-year-old actor?s current onscreen wife Sofia Vergara decided to get creative and recreate Al?s wife Peggy Bundy?s look (originally played by Katy Segal) complete with a red wig and low-cut blouse.
Vergara posted a snapshot of her throwback ensemble via Instagram and added the caption, ?Do you like this look Ed Oneal???? purposely misspelling O?Neill?s surname. So far there?s no word on Ed?s reaction.

Sofia Vergara and Reese Witherspoon made a big deal about their wild & crazy friendship while they promoted their turd of a film, Hot Pursuit, a few months ago. I actually understand why the film happened ? take ?America?s Sweetheart? Reese ad the most popular woman on TV and put them together in a girls? road-trip/comedy and it could have worked. But it didn?t. The reviews were terrible and the film died a swift and painful death at the box office. So now Radar says that Sofia and Reese?s friendship has died a swift death too.
It was supposed to be a buddy comedy, but when Hot Pursuit flopped at the box office, it turned Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara against each other! Witherspoon and Vergara had reportedly become inseparable friends as they worked together on the film ? but things changed after the movie only barely made back its $35 million production budget.
?Sofia and Reese have turned the movie?s failure into a brutal blame game,? an insider told RadarOnline.com. ?Reese blames Sofia?s accent and ?irritating laugh,? while Sofia blames Reese for not being sexy or funny enough.?
As if things weren?t awkward enough, both women are represented by Witherspoon?s husband, agent Jim Toth! ?Jim is desperately trying to broker peace between them, but then they start accusing him of playing favorites! He can?t win.?
The actresses are reportedly ?devastated? by the monetary and critical failure. Both women stood to make real career gains if the film had been successful. Witherspoon and Vergara were both producers on the project. Additionally, Vergara was hoping that Hot Pursuit could transform her from a television star to a silver screen starlet.
?Sofia has a love/hate relationship with Modern Family,? the source said. ?Its shooting schedule is long and difficult, but if she had a real movie career, she could leave? Sofia was hoping to have some kind of leverage for next season?s contract negotiations, but because Hot Pursuit was such a turkey, she needs the show more than ever.?

Is the Modern Family shooting schedule really that arduous? I mean? it?s a half-hour sitcom on network TV. Even if there are long hours (doubtful?), it?s an ensemble where six actors carry the weight and the network is going out of their way to make the actors happy. I tend to think Sofia is in a better position overall ? she?s still the star of one of the biggest network comedies around, she has tons of side projects and of course she?ll get a chance to do more movies. But Reese? I don?t know. I guess we?re supposed to believe that this past year has been so incredible for her (and she did get an Oscar nomination), but it feels like she?s still struggling? Anyway, Reese and Sofia should stop blaming each other and blame the screenwriter. The script sounded like it was terrible.

She?s the world?s highest-paid television actress and Sofia Vergara looks pretty and proud on the August 2015 cover of Cosmpolitan UK magazine.
Though her latest movie ?Hot Pursuit? didn?t exactly kill it at the box office, the ?Modern Family? babe still had a blast working with Reese Witherspoon- "It was so much fun. Usually when you do a movie with another actress you're wary of whether you will get on. We only met two times before Hot Pursuit, so we were very lucky that we liked each other! The set was nearly all women ? the director, producers, everyone. When you work with women you take care of each other."
Vergara also discussed her reaction to finding out she had cancer at age 28- "When you are confronted with something dramatic like the word 'cancer' you look at what is important to you. I was lucky because out of all the cancers, this was one you can remove and treat. It could have been a lot, lot worse. My son was very young so I didn't mention the word 'cancer' to him, because I didn't want to create any fear or drama. I told him I had to go to the doctor, and because mine was in the thyroid ? in the neck ? I had to wait for it to heal [after surgery] and have treatment? It's amazing when you go through something like that ? you appreciate what you have and try not to dwell on things you don't have."

Showing some love to their south-of-the-border fans, Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara showed up at the Cinepolis Plaza Carso in Mexico City on Monday (June 22).
The ?Modern Family? hottie and the ?Cruel Intentions? chick were in the house to premiere their new movie ?Hot Pursuit? and they received a warm welcome from loyal followers ahead of the screening.
?Hot Pursuit? hit theaters in the USA on May 8th and was universally panned by the critics. And so far it has only grossed $35.1 million, just $100,000 above its $35 million budget. Hopefully the Mexican market will prove to be helpful!
