Sofia Vergara covers the new issue of Cosmopolitan, probably to promote some of her side projects, like her K-mart line of jewelry or her Pepsi endorsement or something. I know that there?s been an undercurrent of Sofia-backlash lately ? mostly to do with her weird fianc Nick Loeb, maybe? ? but I still like her. And I thought her Cosmo interview was interesting ? she talks about being a single mother and dating, and how she would never bring the guys to her house (with her son) before she got with Nick Loeb. She also says the great line, ?But I am going to be working my whole life. I love making money.? I wish more women would say that!
On setting a wedding date with fianc Nick Loeb:
?He was already married with a big wedding and I was already married with a big wedding, so we?re going to something but not right now. When he proposed, it was my birthday, and I?d flown more than 100 family and friends to Mexico for six days of partying. It took me forever to arrange the logistics! If I had known I was going to get engaged, I don?t do this stupid birthday.?
On rumors that she and Nick were about to become parents via a surrogate:
?Well, because I froze my eggs. I had to go to my doctor?s office a hundred million times to do injections. The [rumor] probably came from that. My doctor had told me ?We have a small window.? I said, ?That?s so rude!? I already have a kid, so I never thought I would need to do that. But I will have to use a surrogate, because I had thyroid cancer and lots of radiation. I don?t want to wait forever, but not yet, because I?m working like an animal.?
On whether she?s high-maintenance in bed:
?No one can be a sex kitten every day, and anyone who tells you that is lying. But I do wear negligees and Japanese silk robes. For a long time, I lived along with my son and only saw my boyfriends in a hotel. So at home, I slept in old tee shirts. I realized when I moved in with Nick that I couldn?t do that. Now, I only keep nice pajamas around, because whatever is there, I?m going to wear.?
On the exact moment she said to herself, I?ve made it!
?In my 20s, I was already known in the Latina market. When I moved to L.A., I used to go to this club. At the end of the night, everybody would come outside to get their cars. I would be next to Leonardo DiCaprio and Justin Timberlake and my car was always right out in front! Nobody knew who I was, but the valets knew because they were Latin. But I haven?t been at this level until now. I?m greedy. I want to take advantage of my 15 minutes.?
On how her style has evolved:
?I have learned that not everything looks good on me because of my boobs. Magazines will say, ?She is wearing the same shape again.? I?m like, yes! So what? My boobs are real. They?re a 32F. I can?t wear something backless, because what holds them up? Then the magazines would be saying, ?What was she thinking with those sagging t-ts???
On a five-year plan:
?I?ve never had a plan for anything. I know I?m not going to get any more shows like Modern Family. If it ends in five years, it would be great to do movies and focus on things like my Kmart line. Maybe have a kid. But I am going to be working my whole life. I love making money. I really love it!?

I don?t understand why she feels like she can?t still wear old t-shirts to bed? I mean, sure, have some cute negligees and silk pajamas and everything, but sometimes you just want to put on your battered oversized t-shirt and curl up and sleep. I also cosign her ?wearing the same kind of dress all the time? thing ? she knows what flatters her body, and truly, she couldn?t wear many of the designs that are popular these days. So many designs are built for women with Claire Danes? body, not Sofia?s.

Aside from her acting abilities, Sofia Vergara is a household name when it comes to her stunning good looks and knock out curves, so it doesn't come as much of a surprise that she's starting her own shape-wear line.
Dishing about her new fashion endeavor, the "Modern Family" star told Women's Wear Daily, "My shapewear launch is very exciting and really fun for me because the colors and materials are so sexy."
"I'm not really a designer, but my lines are based on what I like and what I wear," Sofia added. "We have a lot of meetings and all of the product gets tried on by me."
The new nine-piece collection, which will be sold exclusively at K Mart, will feature bustiers, toning bodysuits, thigh slimmers, and more which will range from $14.99 to $23.99.
The shape-wear line will join Vergara's already-established fashion collection, Sofia by Sofia Vergara, and is set to hit Kmart stores this June.

She?s always up to something fun, and this morning (April 17) Sofia Vergara showed up at ABC Studios in New York City.
The ?Modern Family? starlet was in the house for an interview on ?Good Morning America,? during which she shared her interesting reproductive goings on.
Sofia explained, ?I wanted to make sure I already froze my eggs. I wanted to take advantage of science. I took them out already. They?re in the refrigerators. Hopefully, they?ll be fresh by the time I use them.?
Vergara added, ?My boyfriend Nicky is three years younger than me and he?s never had a son. I have my son, Manolo. So it?s not an emergency for me to have another kid, but for Nicky, he?s never had a baby.?

Sofia stars alongside the hunky Jason Statham in a remake of the Burt Reynolds film of the same name (not the Robert De Niro movie) about a guy who provides some extra muscle for his gambling buddies in Las Vegas.

Trading in her comedic timing for something a bit more serious, Sofia Vergara filmed on the set of "Heat" in New Orleans with co-star Jason Statham on Tuesday (April 9).
The "Modern Family" star flaunted her curves in a form-fitting light blue sweater, short white skirt, and matching heels as she changed into some more comfortable Pink slippers.
Introducing her Twitter followers to her character, the 40-year-old actress posted a selfie with the caption, "Shooting "Heat" in New Orleans today. This is DD."
This past weekend, Sofia traveled back to Colombia to celebrate the bicentennial of Barranquilla, her hometown, where she was honored for her international recognition.

This is just an FYI ? Sofia Vergara is blonde now! Sofia tweeted the above photo yesterday to show off her new shade. I think this is probably closer to her natural hair color. Sofia has said in several interviews that she dyed her hair brown when she came to Hollywood because no one believed that a Latina would naturally have blonde hair. It?s not the Hollywood stereotype! So she dyed her hair darker, although there are several early-modeling shots of Sofia where you can see her natural dirty-blonde hair.
So, considering it?s close to her natural color? I like it. I?m glad she didn?t go platinum-blonde, she went for more of a caramel-honey blonde, and the shade suits her skin and eyes. I?m assuming she?s done filming Modern Family for the season because I think this might be too big of a change for the Gloria character, right?
Incidentally, we got a funny/gross tip yesterday from someone who had some dealings with Sofia?s fianc Nick Loeb several years ago. This tipster ? who wants to remain anonymous ? says that Nick ?is indeed a complete d–k and tool. He is nothing but arrogant.? The tipster also claims that at the time, Nick ?had a book of women he screwed and at the time it was something like 800. He did do drugs, and much more.? ALLEGEDLY!! I mean, last year there were some sordid reports of his womanizing, his affection for hookers and orgies, and his love affair with sweet lady cocaine. But Nick denied all of those reports. But did he ever get around to suing anybody? Hm. Anyway, this is the guy that Sofia is going to marry. And she?s going to have a baby with him too. Via surrogacy because she doesn?t want to mess up her body.

Getting in some quality time, Sofia Vergara and her fianc Nick Loeb did some shopping on Saturday (March 23) in Century City, CA.
Bundled up but looking gorgeous in a black coat, grey leggings, and black heels, the ?Modern Family? mama shared some laughs with her sweetie as they checked out housewares.
Recently, the Columbian cutie spoke with Vogue for their April issue and revealed she is interested in having more children and is freezing her eggs to help with the process.
"I have to be careful what I eat because they're freezing my eggs! They want to get as many good eggs as they can because usually you produce them but they're not good. They have to be perfect, perfect, perfect ones. My boyfriend is 37, younger than me, never had kids."

Sofia Vergara is revealed as the highest-paid woman on TV in Vogue’s April “Shape” issue, on newsstands now. Vogue says:
Sofa Vergara is now?the highest-paid woman on TV in 2012. Reporters from Forbes magazine estimated that she picked up $19 million from fees and endorsements in 2012, thereby beating Kim Kardashian ($18 million) to the top spot and leaving fellow-Latina Eva Longoria ($15 million) languishing at number three.
I’ll be honest, I saw the words “beating Kim Kardashian” and I was sold. Downloaded the entire article right then and there. I was actually kinda disappointed when I read the rest of the interview. It wasn’t the kind of beating I was hoping for.
