No pain, no gain - at least that's what the motto in Sofia Vergara's gym seems to be as she posted a couple of before-and-after workout photos on Saturday (August 17).
Shared on her WhoSay account, the first pic shows the smiling "Modern Family" star stretching her legs on some exercise equipment in a white top and gray leggings.
Just below, a second photo is a back shot of the 41-year-old actress curled up in the fetal position with the caption, "When u start like this..and they leave you like this...u know you have donne it right#necessarytorture!"
In addition to her torturous exercise, Sofia concentrates on eating right and roping her son in on her efforts, tweeting, "Good morniiiing!! Im going to make Manolo a green juice before he wakes up but he is not going to liiiiike it!!"

Not because it’s a good show, but because every time Sofia Vergara hit the screen I got a tingly feeling below my waist. Turns out viewing Modern Family, is better than watching porn.

Enjoying a weekend with family, Sofia Vergara smiled at photographers after grabbing lunch in Beverly Hills on Saturday (August 17).
The "Modern Family" star looked cute in a black T-shirt, flared jeans, and a Birkin bag as she strolled along with her adult son Manolo.
In a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar, the 41-year-old actress spoke about her penchant for luxury handbags, revealing that she owns five Birkin bags by Hermes.
Defending her investment, Sofia told the magazine, "I tell Manolo, 'If I don't have enough money for your college this month, you have to sell the Birkins.'"

Reporting for another season of duty, Sofia Vergara showed up on location in Los Angeles for ?Modern Family? on Thursday (August 15).
The gorgeous Columbian actress carried her on-screen infant and chatted with costars Rico Mendez and Ty Burrell as the cameras rolled.
Sofia is engaged to her longtime boyfriend Nick Loeb, and during her recent interview with Mario Lopez on ?Extra? she revealed her plans for the wedding.
Vergara explained, ?I did such a big party for my 40th birthday, that now either I do something more or I do something even better than that.?

Showing off her iconic curves in a bright blue wrap dress and nude heels, the Columbian born beauty worked a scene with Jon Favreau, who plays her ex-husband in the comedy.
Tweeting her sentiments from the set, the 41-year-old actress told fans ?My last day in Miami on the set of #Chef,? then wrapped the day up with ?Ciao Miami!! See ya in two weeks.?
Due out on May 9, 2014, ?Chef? follows a chef who starts up a food truck after losing his job in a restaurant in an effort to reconnect with his estranged family.

Smiling in the beautiful sunshine, the Columbian actress looked lovely in a printed black and white skirt and a black tank top as she made her way to her trailer.
Spearheaded by Jon Favreau, the comedy also stars Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey, Jr. and Dustin Hoffman.
Following a chef who loses his restaurant job and starts up a food truck in an effort to reclaim his creative promise, "Chef" is slated to hit theaters on May 9, 2014.
