Between Sofia Vergara’s statements that she loves looking like a transvestite and her own apparent obsession with her ridiculously huge boobs, I’m beginning to wonder whether or not she’s got anything else to add to the cultural dialogue. Sofia sat down with Health Magazine to promote both Happy Feet Two and New Year’s Eve, and as usual, most of the conversation centers around her fabulous bod. Oh, and she actually discusses a little something else too:
On Body Image: “In Latin America we do learn to be more comfortable with our bodies. Women are not shy to be in a bathing suit, in a G-string. But I also did a TV commercial for Pepsi when I was 17 on the beach in a bathing suit. And after that, everybody was like, ‘Oh my god, that body.’ And you know, you start to feel a little bit more confident if you have people thinking that you’re so fabulous!
“When I moved to America, I was more voluptuous, and I felt a little different. And one time, years ago, I remember my publicist [at the time] told me, ‘I think you should just reduce your boobs because nobody’s going to take you seriously here.’ My mother almost had a heart attack. She was like, ‘God is going to punish you! You can’t cut your boobs!’ I don?t regret not doing it, because now it?s become a big part of Gloria.”
On Plastic Surgery: “I’m not against it at all. But I think that you should go into it more thinking that you want to look beautiful than trying to look young. Because I don’t really think that plastic surgery can make you look young. It can make you look prettier, but if you go with the mentality of being young, I think that’s where accidents can happen.”
On Being Stereotyped: “I don’t mind it. I mean, it is the reality. I am a Latin woman: I’m voluptuous, I’m loud, I’m exactly what a Latin woman is. I mean, what am I going to go against it? No. I don’t think there’s anything bad in being a Latin woman. What is it? That we are loud, that we are passionate, that we are voluptuous? I prefer to be called that than, ‘You’re boring; you have a flat ass!’”
On Her Biggest Health Regret: “You know what I wish? My face is so much better, because I’ve been putting sunblock since I was young on my face. Nobody ever told me that I needed to put it in my decolletage! And so it is more sun-damaged than my face. It wouldn’t have been difficult to put a little bit there.”
On Beating Thyroid Cancer In 2000: “It changes your priorities. It’s a good thing when it comes out with a happy ending because it does make you appreciate things more. But, you know, you live your life as healthy as you can. I was twentysomething and I had never smoked, I hadn?t eaten red meat in years, so why did I have a cancer? No one knows.”

Maybe beating cancer at such a young age has something to do with Sofia’s overwhelmingly positive attitude? I do like her and think she’s pretty funny on “Modern Family,” but man, all this talk of her amazing bod gets a bit old at times. Although surviving cancer gives her certain bragging rights, she might want to evolve her shtick a bit at some point. Also, she mentions in the interview that she’s a natural blonde, which is something that I would’ve never guessed.

Sofia Vergara is nearing 40 but she looks fantastic and her body is killer. Especially her 34DD’s. Everybody loves those. Except for maybe her jealous publicist who suggested she get a breast reduction so people would take her seriously. What the insanity?
Q: Was there a time you didn?t love how you looked?
A: Oh, of course! Not everybody?s confident their whole life. For a long time, I thought that my boobs were too big and I was, like, 14 years old, and I already had these huge boobs. I was very skinny also. And now that I?m almost 40?we always have our insecurities as women. We?re never happy!
Q: Can you remember the day you started realizing, “Wait a minute, I think I?ve got it going on!”

Are you kidding? I almost had a heart attack too while reading this. Thankfully, they’re a now former publicist. But to be safe, she should tell everyone their name so we can shun them from Hollywood. Breast reduction? Why, if I had a white glove, I’d slap that publicist in their boob-ist face right now.

Taking a break from filming, Sofia Vergara was spotted on the Miami, Florida set of her new Pepsi commercial this afternoon (November 14).
Looking like a bombshell in blue, the "Modern Family" actress wrapped a white plush robe around her sweetheart cut dress and Swarovski heels in between takes at Fountainbleu Hotel.
Today's Pepsi shoot follows a super busy weekend for Sofia. On Friday, the actress flew to Las Vegas where she tended to presenter duties at the Latin Grammy Awards.
Capping it all off, Miss Vergara attended the Los Angeles premiere of her latest cinematic project, "Happy Feet Two," last night.

These are some new photos of Sofia Vergara at the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style event last night, honoring Iman and Missoni. So, obviously, Sofia showed up in Missoni. I don?t like the dress on Sofia? it looks really cheap on her, right? Like she just wrapped a Missoni knockoff towel around herself. I think the color is throwing me off too - I like that Sofia wears a lot of color on the red carpet, but sometimes those bright colors and patterns look ?cheap? on her.
Sofia has just returned from LA after a vacation with her still-on boyfriend, Nick Loeb. Sofia, as always, was tweeting during her vacation, and she ended up posting this bikini pic that has everyone all riled up:
GAH. Her body is so amazing. Look at how toned she is! Usually, Sofia is committed to wearing one-piece swimsuits? I guess because her body is so bangin?, she doesn?t want to start a riot on the beach. I guess she was just in a bikini mood, though.
