Stepping out for some promotional duties, Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal were spotted at a screening of ?Love and Other Drugs? in New York City last night (November 15).
The ?Princess Diaries? babe and her "Prince of Persia" costar chatted with audience members at the 2010 New York Variety Screening Series at AMC Loews 19th Street East 6 Theater.
As for the rumors that Anne had a birthday blowup while out to dinner last week, her rep says the incident ?never happened.?
It was previously reported that Hathaway stormed out of Tocqueville restaurant in tears after a fight with her family. An eyewitness revealed, ?It sort of came on pretty suddenly. Everyone got pretty quiet. She left crying, and then her boyfriend [Adam Shulman] followed her but her parents remained.?

Continuing their promotional tour, Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway were spotted at London?s Heathrow International Airport today (November 9).
The ?Brokeback Mountain? man and the ?Princess Diaries? babe have been working non-stop to hype up their new movie ?Love & Other Drugs.?
And during a recent press conference, Anne lent Jake a helping hand by running interference during a question about Gyllenhaal?s rumored romance with Taylor Swift.
Hathaway quipped, ?Hang on, hang on, I have to say something! I have been Jake's onscreen love interest for years, alright? You keep the conversation to me and only me, otherwise I'm going to get nasty!?

Anne Hathaway is the cover girl for the Elle UK December cover. The dress is Balmain, and it costs $35,000. Do you like it? You better, because it?s made it?s way onto something like a dozen international fashion magazine covers already. The dress has more hype than Anne, which is unfortunate, because Anne looks amazing on these covers, and she?s wearing the hell out of this dress. Her makeup is stunning too. Love it.
Anyway, Elle hasn?t released anything from their cover interview, but I suspect Anne doesn?t say anything groundbreaking. Since her boyfriend went to prison, it?s not like Anne has been some darling of the tabloids. She keeps to herself and doesn?t cause a lot of drama, from what I see. It makes her a good person and a boring celebrity. I did find this interview with her, though - Anne talking about how she?d like to finish college:
Anne Hathaway has revealed that she was would love to return to college at some stage in the future. The Love And Other Drugs actress told Jay Leno that she had completed two years of college and was eager on resuming her studies.
“I finished two years and I’m hoping that I get back,” she said. “The last time that I went to college was between Brokeback Mountain and The Devil Wears Prada so I’ve been busy since then, which is nice!”
She continued to reveal that she is currently preparing for her ten-year high-school reunion, to which Leno joked that she should bring the new issue of Vogue which features her on the cover.
“The timing has worked out pretty much in my favour, hasn’t it?!” laughed Hathaway.
“I was so invisible in high school,” she continued. “I don’t think I was unpopular because I don’t think I registered enough to matter. I was really interested in the arts and that was kind of my passion so if anybody knew who I was that was what they knew me for.”
“It will be nice to go back,” she added. “I’m curious to see how everybody is doing.”

I?m glad Anne isn?t pulling out the old ?everyone hated me, I was such a loser? trope that literally EVERY celebrity uses these days, even when you find out that they were elected class president and they were the head cheerleader and prom queen. I buy that Anne was probably not hated or bullied, she was probably just there. And it would be kind of cool if she went back to college. I wish more celebrities would take time off and put the focus on their education.

She?s been busy promoting her latest flick, ?Love and Other Drugs,? and Anne Hathaway popped in for an interview with Jay Leno on Thursday (November 4).
Dolled up in a black ensemble, the ?Devil Wears Prada? babe was all smiles as usual as she sat down with Jay and shared plenty of laughs with the late night host.
During her sit-down, Anne explained that she had just been to Utah alongside co-star Jake Gyllenhaal for movie promotions.
The audience chuckled after she revealed that she went horseback riding, "Oh, don't laugh. Utah's great," Hathaway said. "Did you hear the little tittering in the crowd? OK, sure, it's not the sexiest place in the world, but it's fun."

Is it just me or has Anne Hathaway grown up really quickly? She seems to have gone from an annoying preteen little girl in those princess movies straight into a woman in her mid thirties with no husband. I don’t get it. I guess it doesn’t really matter, she’s still hot and I wouldn’t mind

Last night was the premiere of Love & Other Drugs, which stars two of the most in-demand younger actors, Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway. They both looked nice, in my opinion. Neither really knocked it out of the park, but both gave it a good effort. Anne wore a cream Antonio Berardi dress, with those strange little flares at the hips, like most women need extra fabric right there to draw the eye?? The shoes are Sergio Rossi. Most notably about Anne is that she?s begun to seriously lighten her traditionally chocolate-colored hair. On her Vogue cover, she had some red highlights, but now Anne has gotten even more. The red looks nice on her, and I have to give her credit: this is some of the best styling I?ve ever seen her with. Usually Anne gets it wrong somehow, with too severe hair or makeup that is too garish, but her hair and makeup are quite lovely here.
The premiere comes on the heels of Jake Gyllenhaal?s Esquire UK cover interview? Jake talked a lot about the many, many sex scenes in the film:
He said to UK’s Esquire magazine: ‘We talked about what we thought was sexy, about what were the things that interested us, and through the discussion became pretty intimate with each other.’
He added: ‘There’s something about the way Annie and I both work which is inherently very musical. It’s all about rhythm. There’s a rhythm to writing, there’s a rhythm to sports, there’s a rhythm to sex.’
‘I was naked a lot in the movie. I was naked in more of it than was even in the final cut. A director’s cut? I don’t even know how that would be rated.’
For her part, Hathaway adds: ‘I don’t think there’s anything wrong with nudity in film, and I would hope that any actor that is asked to reveal that part of themselves has as loving and open an experience as we had.’

Sounds like they had a nice time working together - looks like I was wrong. I thought they didn?t really care for each other personally, ever since they did Brokeback Mountain and it seemed like everyone was treating Anne like she was ?the a–hole? of the cast. I have to admit? I want to see this movie. I probably won?t see it at the theatre, but it?s definitely a rental.
Oh, and Jake?s ?girlfriend? Taylor Swift didn?t make it to the premiere. From what I can see, she had to fly to Canada to promote her album.

Kicking off the weekend a bit early, Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway were spotted premiering their new film ?Love & Other Drugs? last night (November 4).
The super sexy stars all gathered at AFI Fest 2010 for the affair, held at the iconic Grauman?s Chinese Theatre.
Mr. Gyllenhaal is in the new issue of Esquire magazine where he shares some of the steamy details of his on-screen romps with Miss Hathaway.
Also in the house for the big event was Michelle Monaghan, who gave the paparazzi plenty of eye candy.

Getting into the holiday spirit, Anne Hathaway was among the stars on-hand for Lanvin?s Halloween Extravaganza in NYC on Friday (October 29).
Looking catty cute in an animal-print ensemble with mask, the "Princess Diaries" hottie posed for pictures while joining fellow guests including Janet Jackson.
The outing comes just after it was announced that Miss Hathaway has landed herself quite the big new gig.
The brunette beauty has been tapped as an upcoming host on the November 20th episode of "Saturday Night Live" - marking her second time helming the hit NBC show.

Anne Hathaway is the cover girl for the November issue of Vogue Magazine, to promote her film with Jake Gyllenhaal, Love and Other Drugs. The cover is lovely (the shoot is by Mario Testino), but it?s also rather Christmas-y. Oh, well. I don?t hate Anne, so I enjoy seeing her on the cover of Vogue, rather than someone like Blake Lively or Kate Hudson or someone like that. Through the shoot, it seems like they?re going a little heavy on the Audrey Hepburn/Breakfast at Tiffany?s thing, which I would have hoped Anne would avoid. It seems like blondes can?t avoid the Marilyn trap, and brunettes can?t avoid the Audrey trap. The full interview is here, at Vogue. Here are some of the highlights:
On the photo shoot with Testino: ?It?s Holly Golightly meets Marge Simpson?.It was true glamour. Not just the clothes and the jewels but that feeling that glamour can produce in you, which is like a dream.?
On being in Paris: ?I?ve never seen a Kelly bag or a Birkin bag in person? and at my age, it?s about time.?
On shopping: ?I?ve been slowly trying to build a wardrobe as opposed to rushing out and buying everything in sight,? she tells me later. ?You can?t force the process.?
On Rachel Getting Married: A movie that, Hathaway says, ?transformed? her: ?I felt far closer to the person that I wanted to be and the actress that I wanted to be than I ever had before.?
On Love and Other Drugs: ?I tried not to like the script as much as I did, because it scared me,? Hathaway says. ?What if it becomes a melodrama? What if the audience doesn?t find these challenging characters charming? There were so many things that could possibly go wrong with it. I heard her voice so strongly in my head, and when that happens I just can?t tune it out,? she says. ?She feels like a girl you might actually know.?
Jake Gyllenhaal on Anne: They develop ?the intimacies and complexities between Annie and me, because we have what?s starting to be a long history together, professionally and as friends.?
Anne on the sex scenes: ?This movie certainly has a lot of nerve,? she says, arching an eyebrow. ?Oy. I hope that audiences are OK with all the nerve.? But in the end she felt the nudity was integral to who the characters are. ?These are people who have no trouble taking their clothes off?in a way, their bodies are their currency,? she explains. ?But they?re terrified of exposing their vulnerability, of becoming emotionally naked.? It was that emotional baring it all that Hathaway found difficult, to say the least. ?I was a wreck from start to finish,? she admits. ?I think I cried every single day. I had to lean so much more heavily on everyone around me than I?m used to. I?m used to pulling my own weight. But I totally fell apart.?
On her felon ex, Raffaello Follieri. ?Gosh, I hate talking about the breakup, because I don?t want it to define me, but as is to be expected, there were a lot of lingering trust issues.? (As we meet, the jewelry he gave her during their relationship?which she turned over to the FBI last spring?is about to be publicly auctioned off.) ?And I think that making a film about trust that required a great deal of trust?well, it was a challenge to get there.?
Anne on dealbreakers: I ask her to name some of her ?deal breakers? when it comes to men. She touches her index finger to her chin and gazes up, as if in thought. ?Uh . . . fraud?? she says, looking back at me and exploding with laughter. Then she gets more pensive. ?I?ve always believed in people?s capacity for goodness. I still believe that people are good. What I?m not so trusting about anymore is their relationship to their own goodness.? What would she say she?s learned? ?To be more wary. It takes a minute for me to let my guard down, but once I do and I get to know someone, I?m very open, very trusting. Some might say too trusting, because considering the amount of money that can be made from selling gossip, I could be very easily taken advantage of.?
On relationships: ?When I begin a relationship, there?s that pressure to be the most, to be more comfortable and open than anyone else. When you finally realize that you can just be your own scared, f-cked-up self and that you can still be sexy without trying to be, it?s such a great relief. When uncondensed you is enough.? She stops and laughs. ?Hey, that?s pretty good. If acting doesn?t work out, I could have a future in advertising.?
On her new boyfriend: Hathaway is currently seeing an actor named Adam Shulman, whom she met through mutual friends. ?We hit it off immediately, but it took us a pretty long time to get together,? Hathaway recalls. ?He thought that I had a boyfriend, and I thought that he had a girlfriend, so I thought that I?d better keep my distance because I didn?t want to be that girl.? Once they figured out that neither of them was attached, Hathaway says, ?things sped up a bit?and I think I?ll leave it at that.?
On aging in Hollywood: ?I?m entering a new phase of my career where the stories are becoming a lot more specific about where the character is in her life,? Hathaway says. ?People don?t always want to tell stories about women in their 30s and 40s and 50s. Obviously, some of those ages are pretty far off for me, but I know it?s coming. What I?ve observed and what I?ve imagined?and definitely what I?m hoping?happens as you get older is that there?s a mellowing, an acceptance that comes with time,? she says. ?I guess that I?ll find out.”

I think it?s clear Anne is still uncomfortable talking about the Follieri situation, and that?s why she?s making such awkward jokes. I still think she knew more than she?s spoken about publicly, but if the FBI is content with her involvement, then so be it. All in all, I am kind of rooting for her to have more successes - she?s one of the few younger actresses who I actually think can act her ass off. We?ll see!

Showing an interest in the world markets, Anne Hathaway took part in the International Monetary Fund event held in Washington, DC on Wednesday (October 6).
The "Alice In Wonderland" actress was greeted by World Bank Group President Robert Zoellick while posing for pictures alongside Nike Foundation President and CEO Maria Eitel and White House Senior Adviser Valerie Jarrett.
Releasing their forecasts and discussing pressing issues, the IMF's latest World Economic Outlook wasn't the rosiest - as it was estimated that 210 million people across the globe are unemployed, which makes for an increase of more than 30 million since 2007.
Aside from her IMF visit, Miss Hathaway also took time to participate in the "It Gets Better" campaign - which aims to help gay, bisexual and transgendered people find hope.
Created in response to the recent gay suicides, Anne joins celebs such as Ke$ha, Kristin Cavallari, Ian Somerhalder and Katerina Graham in a one-minute video urging troubled individuals to reach out to the Trevor Project for the help in which they need.
