The last we heard from Sean Penn and Scarlett Johansson, they were grinding on each other at the White House Correspondents? Dinner a few weeks ago. Because they?re classy and deep, that?s why. The story that came out about the after-parties was that Sean was seated, talking to friends, and Scar was sitting on his lap, nibbling his ear or something. I?ve long tried to understand the dynamics of the Penn-Johansson coupling, mostly because I don?t think Scarlett is the girl most people think she is. When she married Ryan Reynolds, most people put her in the ?nice young lady who got married early to the nice young man? box, but I?ve always suspected/known that Scar is dirtier, grittier, and less ?nice? than her image. Of course, I don?t think she?s all that bright. But she?s capable, and I think she has a loose interpretation of fidelity, monogamy and ?healthy relationship?. Put that together with Sean Penn, and you?ve got yourself a good show.
So, here?s the question I?m now asking about Scar and Sean (?Scarn??): Is Sean as ?into? Scarlett as she seems to be into him? I think he might be. Call it biscuit haze, call it a midlife crisis, call it pathetic, but I think he has actual feelings for her. Or her biscuits. That?s my theory - they care about each other. It might even be ?love?. So what comes next? A baby? There have already been pregnancy rumors, which were shot down by Scar?s reps. And yet? the rumors linger:
Sean Penn may have kids almost as old as his 26-year-old girlfriend, Scarlett Johansson, but that?s not stopping the actress from wanting to have a baby with her 50-year-old beau.
?Sean?s telling her that he has no interest in starting a new family, but she?s determined to have a child with him,? a pal tells In Touch.
It also seems Sean isn?t the only one who?s not thrilled with the idea. According to the friend, Scarlett?s mom Melanie Sloan is against the May-December romance and has urged her daughter to take things slower.
?Give Sean?s bad-boy past, she?s naturally worried that he?s wrong for Scarlett,? the insider explains. ?But so far her pleas have fallen on deaf ears.?

You think that is Scar gets knocked up, Sean will run away? Maybe. Maybe not. Sean and Robin were just living together when Robin gave birth to Dylan and Hopper - they didn?t get married until 1996. Don?t think that Scarlett isn?t already thinking about Sean?s MO. Maybe she figures she?ll get pregnant and Sean will marry her after?
Here?s the thing though - even though I think Scarlett is all about Sean right now, I think she?s capable of moving on very quickly. I?m not so sure Scarlett is prepared to have Sean?s baby just so he?ll stick around, because she?s not sure if she?s going to stick around.

Still sporting the red hairdo she debuted at the White House Correspondents? Dinner, Scarlett Johansson was spotted out for a stroll in New York City yesterday (May 8).
The ?In Good Company? actress was accompanied by her Chihuahua pooch named Maggie as she hoofed it around Manhattan carrying a massive handbag.

Just the idea of Sean Penn and Scarlett Johansson together creeps me out so you can imagine what it would be like for me hearing that Sean and Scarlett engaged in an intense makeout session at the White House Correspondents Dinner over the weekend.
After being an asshole for the sake of being an asshole by refusing to put his hand over his heart when everyone sang The Star-Spangled Banner, Sean and Scarlett were shoving their tongues down each others throats during the main course. “She [Johansson] plopped down in his lap, and they were kissing. It happened right as the main course of the dinner was being put on the table.”
They later went to the courtyard where Sean grabbed a smoke and kept making out. “Scarlett was pawing at Sean, holding on to his hip while he was smoking. She gave him a short kiss. But then they took a walk some 30 feet away, broke off from the group and kissed some more.”
Sean, ever the gentlemen, stopped Scarlett before leaving before 3 a.m. to put his jacket on her shoulders, saying, “It’s cold out there.”
Aw, gross. Not only is my stomach doing somersaults at the thought of Sean probing Scarlett’s mouth like it was an anal cavity at an alien abduction, but now I’m sickened at the sweetness. He probably went home, lit a bunch of candles and drew her a bath too, huh?

On Saturday, Scarlett Johansson became the latest Hollywood actress to go red. The normally blonde, sometimes brunette actress, 26, showed off a new hue at the White House Correspondents’ bash in Washington, D.C. It’s not the star’s first foray into fiery-colored locks: She showed off red hair in 2009, as part of her role as The Black Widow in “Iron Man 2.”

She?s never one to miss out on a big event, and Scarlett Johansson was spotted at the Evening of Cocktails and Shopping hosted by Coach last night (April 20).
Sporting a leggy red dress with beige heels, the ?In Good Company? babe looked fabulous as she strolled into the fundraiser.
Coach?s Evening of Cocktails and Shopping was set up to benefit the Children?s Defense Fund, and the guest list included Alexis Bledel, Camilla Belle, and Jennifer Garner.
The Children?s Defense fund was set up to ?ensure every child a Healthy Start, a Head Start, a Fair Start, a Safe Start and a Moral Start in life and successful passage to adulthood with the help of caring families and communities.?

This is Scarlett Johansson’s latest ad for Dolce & Gabbana. Scar became the face of the brand? in 2009, I think. Scar fronts a surprising number of ad campaigns - Mango, Moet champagne, Reebok, just to name a few - which doesn?t really comport with the ?average, low-key? image she tries to push of herself. She?s not average. Anyway, I rarely like Scarlett?s ?model face? because the girl really doesn?t have that many expressions, and her mouth is always open. In the Mango ads, she?s always styled to look rather corpsey, and there?s some of that going on this ad too. Sure, she doesn?t look deathly in this ad, but she doesn?t really look? alive, either. It doesn?t help that every photographer and stylist seems to pose Scarlett reclining on something, like she?s too lazy to actually stand up and pose? At some point, I have to stop blaming the stylists and just blame ScarJo - she just gives off a corpsey vibe in photographs.
In other ScarJo news, her old(er) lover Sean Penn has been photographed a lot over the past few days as he tries to get in shape. Photographers have gotten shots of him jogging and mucking around in the ocean and hanging out with a personal trainer. It?s great that a man his age is taking an interest in exercise, especially given that he?s a smoker, a heavy drinker, and likely a drug user (?). But something tells me that Sean?s new-found interest in exercise isn?t about health. It?s about his 20-something girlfriend.
Ladies, think about this grunting on top of you. That?s all I?m saying.

Stocking up on food supplies, Scarlett Johansson was spotted grocery shopping in Malibu, California yesterday (April 13).
The ?He?s Just Not That Into You? actress tried her best to avoid the paparazzi as she headed back to her boyfriend Sean Penn?s house.
Earlier this week, Scarlett was thought to be carrying Penn?s child when a photograph surfaced that made her look a bit full in the midsection.
However, her rep says it?s not the case. "Scarlett is not pregnant. She's been training for The Avengers for over four months and is in the best shape of her life.?

They made their relationship official by going to Reese Witherspoon’s wedding together and now Us Weekly says Scarlett Johansson has moved in with Sean Penn proving that life isn’t fair.
Relocating from her temporary digs at a West Hollywood hotel, the recently divorced 26-year-old “has essentially moved in over the last few weeks,” the source says. And now that the actress and Penn, 50, share the same roof after months of furtive sightings at hotspots in Hollywood, Mexico and beyond, “they just stay home” whenever they can.
Among their fave homebody activities? Eating in and hanging out with Penn’s kids with ex-wife Robin Wright, who are mere years younger than Johansson: daughter Dylan, 20, and son Hopper, 17.
Robin Wright must feel ecstatic to “hang out” with Sean Penn and Scarlett Johansson. Some women would turn lesbian for Scarlett and Robin gets to see her all the time. Sometimes most likely even making out with her ex-husband. What a lucky lady!

According to her rep, she?s in the best shape of her life. ?Best shape of her life? = A charming little mini-pot belly that made everyone scream about her phantom Penn pregnancy. I thought Sean Penn had moved to Haiti and he was running all of these clinics and he had to do it all himself because the UN sucks and NGOs suck and none of the people who volunteer for humanitarian aid CARE as much as Sean? You mean that was just a phase Sean went through, and now he?s going through a ?boning a dumb blonde starlet half his age? phase?

Pregnancy rumors started flying yesterday after Scarlett Johansson was photographed running with her gut hanging over her waistband, but her people quickly shot them down. Her spokesperson said in a statement (via the Daily Mail):
“Scarlett is not pregnant. She’s outside running and it’s simply the placement of her shirt that is misleading. She’s been training for The Avengers for over four months and is in the best shape of her life.”
Well, round is technically still a shape, I guess, but the only way it’s the “best shape of her life” is if she’s playing Ms. Pac-Man in her new movie. God knows there just aren’t enough superpowers of digestion in most comic book movies.
