After dodging the question for years about her nose job, Ashlee Simpson?s dad and manager, Joe, has finally spilled the beans.
In an interview with FOX News, Joe says he had no control over Ashlee's decision to undergo rhinoplasty.
He told, "Girls have their own ideas. Anyway, there was a real problem with her breathing and that was cured."
And going back to when Ash lip-synched on ?Saturday Night Live? due to losing her voice, Papa Joe defended his daughter by saying, ?She'll never do it again. We just did a huge tour, and there was no lip-synching."

Tending to work duties before gearing up for the weekend, Ashlee Simpson was spotted leaving her office in Beverly Hills on Friday afternoon (March 26).
The former "Melrose Place" star showed off her freshly pampered black locks while donning a white sleeveless top with black pants and matching accessories.

Back home on the west coast after spending time in NYC for Fashion Week, Ashlee Simpson was spotted making her way around West Hollywood on Thursday (February 18).
Looking stylish as she passed awaiting paparazzi, the former “Melrose Place” actress happened to be readying for a pampering session at the Ken Paves Salon.
Meanwhile, Miss Simpson is currently in the midst of trying to get rid of a little real estate, as her Mediterranean Villa in Beverly Hills was recently put up for sale for $4 million.
According to an agency listing, “the five-bedroom compound sits on more than half an acre, and features cathedral beamed ceilings, both a fitness and media room, and a zen garden with a fire pit.”

As many eagle-eyed readers noted in yesterday?s Kourtney Kardashian post (about In Touch?s cover story regarding Scott Disick ?betraying? Kourtney), In Touch Weekly is running a small story about Ashlee Simpson?s nose. To be more specific, it?s about her nose ?growing back?. Now, Ashlee had a very noticeable nose job back in 2006. She denied it for a little while, then finally admitted it. Personally, I think this was one of those occasions where one surgery made a drastic, positive improvement on someone?s looks, and I was only offended when Ashlee seemed to think she could deny it or not simply be honest.
Anyway, In Touch asks if her old nose is growing back. The whole story is based on some recent photos of Ashlee over the past month, and ITW got a ?doctor? to weigh in. Jezebel had the basics:
Ashlee Simpson’s “old nose is back?. Doesn’t the 2010 picture look like someone tampered with it? Dr. Steven J. Pearlman was asked to weigh in on the difference between her nose now and her nose in 2006, and he ? quite astutely ? points out: “The photo of her now is from a straight-on angle, while the one of her in 2006 is a side profile. No nose will look the same from different angles.” O RLY?

Honestly, though, from certain angles it does look like Ashlee?s old nose is growing back. It?s not as big as it used to be, but it definitely looks bigger than it did immediately post-surgery.

Ready for a warmer climate, Ashlee Simpson and husband Pete Wentz were spotted leaving JFK Airport with their son, Bronx Mowgli Wentz, on Tuesday (February 9).
The happy trio are headed to warm Los Angeles after Ashlee’s time in the play “Chicago” in New York City has come to an end.
Meanwhile, Miss Simpson recently expressed her desire to become a mother to a second child - as she absolutely adores her duties with Bronx.
She tells, “I love being a mother. We’re together all the time. Bronx is definitely finding himself, and he’s getting his own personality, so hide-and-seek, and new little things. He does sign language, so that’s been fun.”

Stepping out for a basketball date, Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were spotted leaving Madison Square Garden after New York Knicks game last night (February 3).
The “Pieces of Me” songstress and her “Dance, Dance” hubby looked to be enjoying themselves as they stepped out into the chilly Manhattan weather, both sporting winter coats.

Enjoying a day away from her crazy schedule, Ashlee Simpson was spotted out and about in New York City this afternoon (February 3).
The “Chicago” Broadway star looked cool and casual in a black coat/black knit hat/khaki scarf combo as she did her best to avoid the nearby shutterbugs.
And it sounds like Ashlee may be given the title of “Yoko Ono” as her husband Pete Wentz has pulled out of his band Fall Out Boy.
Wentz blogged, “As far as I know, Fall Out Boy is on break… I can’t predict that I’d ever play in Fall Out Boy again. A hiatus is forever until you get lonely or old, and I don’t plan on either.”

Continuing her go on Broadway, Ashlee Simpson was spotted arriving for the Friday night show of “Chicago” in New York City.
Donning a casual outfit ahead of her wardrobe, hair and makeup session, the “Pieces of Me” singer kept her head down as she made her way inside the theater.
In other news, while Ash, husband Pete Wentz and son Bronx have been residing in the Big Apple, their Beverly Hills home has gone up for sale.
The 7,100 square foot Mediterranean-style villa is located in a gated compound and is listed for $4 million.

Getting an early start to the day, Ashlee Simpson was spotted stepping out in New York City on Wednesday (January 27).
Bundled up for the brisk weather, the former “Melrose Place” actress exited her Big Apple apartment to go to a candy store meet-n-greet in Times Square.
Tweeting about the outing, Ashlee wrote this morning: “Working w/ Hershey?s in NYC is fun. I LOVE the new York, Hershey?s Special Dark & Almond Joy Pieces. They are just as good as Reeses Pieces.”
Explaining further, Miss SImpson tweeted the previous evening: “Have you tried new Pieces Candies? Hershey’s has invited me to try some. Meet me @ Hershey’s Times Square 1/27 @ 8 a.m. to try some for free.”

With her Fall Out boy rocker hubby having flown off to France, Ashlee Simpson got in a little quality girl time in New York City on Friday afternoon (January 22).
The “Pieces of Me” singer met up with her pal at the delicious Virgil’s BBQ restaurant, where the twosome chowed down on some tasty grub while prepping for the weekend.
Later on this evening, Miss Simpson will be taking the stage, once more, as Roxie Hart during an 8PM showing of the Broadway show “Chicago”.
Nearing its end, Ashlee only has just over two weeks left before her stage stint comes to an end on February 7th.
