Joining in on the Emmy weekend festivities, Ashlee Simpson was among the stars turning up for the 9th Annual BAFTA/LA TV party in Beverly Hills, California on Saturday evening (September 17).
Held at L'Ermitage Beverly Hills Hotel, the "Bittersweet World" singer was joined by new beau Vincent Piazza as the cute couple worked the red carpet before mingling with fellow guests such as Brenda Strong, Saffron Burrows, Kathy Griffin and Ty Burrell.
Aside from her partygoing weekend, Ashlee was recently asked how big sister Jessica has been doing as she readies for another walk down the aisle.
To this, the 27-year-old replied, "She's amazing, she's great. Jess is always amazing. Jess is the best Auntie!"
Also questioned about how she's been handling the difficult task of balancing work and motherhood to son Bronx, Miss Simpson told, "With Bronx, it's easy. It works out. And he's the happiest little boy!"

There have been photos of Ashlee Simpson and her new boyfriend, Vincent Piazza, before, but they?ve always been candids. Last night was their big red carpet debut as a couple, at the Season 2 premiere of Boardwalk Empire. Vincent plays Lucky Luciano in the show, and for a while he posed solo on the carpet, and then Ashlee came over and they did photos together. I like that! I like that Ashlee?s not ?Oh, I can?t pose with my boyfriend at his premiere! We’re too cool for that.? They?re a relatively new couple, and seeing them together makes me wish them well. I even like her dress and her hair!
Ashlee has been all over New York this week, going to NYFW events and generally keeping her nose clean. Maybe it?s because no one cares about Ashlee, or maybe it?s because she?s not quite the same drunken mess she was, but there have been no reports (that I?ve seen) of Ashlee being crazy or anything. I think she?s just loved up with her boyfriend, and Vincent has come to some NYFW events with her too.
I?ve added some photos of Ashlee at the Herve Leger event two days ago - she was wearing a bandage dress, of course, and The Fug Girls were wondering aloud if Ashlee had gotten her boobs done: ??a boobalicious blonde Ashlee Simpson (are those new, or was her bra just that good?)?. In these photos, I would say no. Ashlee has never been particularly well-endowed, right? In these pics she looks small and natural, and she?s just wearing a dress that hoists her girls up and makes them look cute.

Taking advantage of a lovely Sunday afternoon, Ashlee Simpson was spotted at the Melrose flea market in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday (August 28).
The ?Pieces of Me? singer was joined by a group of friends as they perused the market and checked out all of the vintage goods.
The sighting comes as it was reported last week that Ms Simpson had one too many and drunk-dialed ex-husband Pete Wentz to tell him that she missed him.
Her rep denied the call ever happened, but a source told UsWeekly that Ashlee misses him and said she wanted him back.

It looks like there’s some “professional” rivalry between Jessica and Ashlee Simpson. The National Enquirer reports that they’re so at odds over some tween clothing line they’re working on launching together that they’re screaming at each other. Things are said to be so tense between them that Ashlee might not even go to Jessica’s wedding, whenever she’s having it. This whole story is pretty ripe considering how terribly they individually dress. Apparently Jessica’s tastes tend toward girly while Ashlee wants something closer to Avril Lavigne’s punk style. So ugly-frilly vs. ugly distressed look. Take your pick.
Jessica Simpson and her sister Ashlee… announced in June that they’re launching a joint tween clothing line, but sources say they’re now fighting like cats and dogs over it.
“Jessica and Ashlee are butting heads over the direction of the clothes,” an insider divulged.
“Jess prefers girly frills like lace and flowers. She leans more toward sexy dresses and low-cut tops. But Ashlee wants a more punk-rock look. She’s pushing for ripped jeans and neon t-shirts.
“Their disagreements have set off a virtual [war] with them screaming at each other in front of underlings…
“Jessica constantly throws her fashion success in Ashlee’s face,” the insider revealed.
“Ashlee also feels Jess wasn’t supportive after she split from husband Pete Wentz… She needed a shoulder to lean on and Jess was nowhere in sight.
“Now Ashlee is so angry with Jessica’s bossy ways that she’s threatening to boycott her wedding to Eric later this year,” said the source.

I always thought Ashlee and Jessica were tight, so this is surprising to me. Still, if you look at how they dress it’s easy to see that there’s no way they would be able to agree on styles for a joint fashion line. The photo above doesn’t really capture how stark their fashion differences are, so here are a few candids of them out separately recently. I think the common denominator here is “fug,” though. They definitely have that in common. Oh and animal prints.
Ashlee is friends with Nicky Hilton I guess. Who knew? Who cared?

I had only a passing interest in the Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz breakup earlier this year, but since it’s my job to pay attention to these relatively nobodies, I’ve gleaned that Ashlee may have cheated on Pete. It’s hard to verify, but it seems like that’s what went down. Maybe his people were leaking stories about her, though, because there were cheating rumors about him too, and one story in the Enquirer claimed he was addicted to prescription painkillers. Whatever happened, Ashlee has been spotted out with several other potential hookups since their split and so has Pete. They’ve also been photographed together, suggesting they’re still friendly or at least want to give the impression that they are.
This latest story makes me think that Pete probably wants Ashlee to look like a drunken sad sap who wants him back though. US Weekly claims she’s been drunk-dialing him and begging him to come back to her. I would think it would be the other way around, but who knows. The last we heard of Ashlee she was dating Boardwalk Empire star Vincent Piazza, but they could be over now even though US says they’re still together. I did find paparazzi photos of them together on July 10th, those are below. Here’s US’ story:
A source says [Ashlee Simpson], 26, recently placed an inebriated call to Pete Wentz, whom she’s divorcing. “Ashlee was telling Pete how much she misses him and wants him back,” says a pal of the bassist, 32. A rep for Simpson denies the call. And though the singer is dating Boardwalk Empire’s Vincent Piazza, the source says she’s so desperate to win Wentz back, she even asked his sis for help - with no luck. Says the pal, “He will never go back to her. He’s in a good place.”

This is Pete trying to save face by acting like Ashlee wants him back. She probably did drunk dial him, we’ve heard she loves her cocktails. The extent of her wanting him back is probably a few mumbled regrets that she doesn’t even remember, though.

Ready to make her departure from the City of Angels, Ashlee Simpson was spotted at LAX airport in Los Angeles, California earlier today (July 14).
The 26-year-old singer opted for a vintage ensemble for her sky-high travel plans, wearing a white knit sweater, Grateful Dead t-shirt, blue jeans and a pair of moccasins.
Ashlee, who is currently hard at work on her next album, is teaming up with big sis Jessica to create a fashionable funky tween line.
The collection is said to include everything from footwear to outerwear and is set to debut its designs later this year.

It seems like it was just yesterday that Ashlee Simpson gave birth to her son Bronx, but yesterday (July 11) she was spotted dropping him off for his first day of pre-school.
The ?Pieces of Me? singer looked lovely in a white linen dress teamed with a long silver tassel necklace as she carried her boy inside the Sherman Oaks, California school, though Bronx didn?t look too pleased to see his mommy leave.
In relationship news, Ashlee is still going strong with her new main squeeze, actor Vincent Piazza, as evidenced by their recent hot date.
Simpson and Piazza were seen dining at La Bottega inside New York City?s Maritime Hotel and according to eyewitnesses they were both pretty handsy with each other.

Gearing up for an outbound flight, Ashlee Simpson was spotted arriving at LAX International Airport yesterday (July 6).
The ?Pieces of Me? singer looked cute and casual in a white shirt, black jacket, black hat and Pink shorts as she strolled through the terminal.
In real estate news, Ashlee has finally sold her Beverly Hills house, though she definitely took a loss on the property.
Back in 2007, Simpson purchased the home for $4.5 million, and she recently let it go for $3.475 million. The listing stated, "The multilevel home includes a beamed cathedral ceiling, a fitness room, a media room, five bedrooms and 6 1/2 bathrooms in 7,100 square feet."

The ?Pieces of Me? songstress looked super cute with her short blonde ?do, lacy black top and long printed skirt as she strolled inside the Roosevelt Hotel.
Earlier this month, Ashlee was spotted out in New York City with her new boyfriend Vincent Piazza, a 26-year-old actor from Queens who also stars in ?Boardwalk Empire.?
And now that she has gone public with the relationship, Ashlee?s tweet last month makes more sense- she wrote, "This is the first day of my life. I'm glad I didn't die before I met you.?

Paying a visit to their lawyer?s office, Jessica and Ashlee Simpson were spotted out in Century City, California yesterday afternoon (May 25).
The pop singing pair were joined by their mother Tina as they attended what ended up being a 9-hour-long meeting.
As for Jessica?s upcoming wedding, the ?Come On Over? babe told press she?s not trying to outdo the newly-married Duke and Duchess of Cambridge?s nuptials.
?I absolutely adore Kate?s dress. I thought she looked absolutely beautiful, there?s no bride that can top a royal wedding. I?m not going to be wearing the same kind of thing, but it will be beautiful in its own right.?
Jessica also noted that she?s hoping to shed some pounds before saying ?I Do.? ?I am going to dance around my bedroom and hopefully lose some weight ? and lift some weights and do what I can!?
