I don’t really understand why this news “broke” on a Friday afternoon for Us Weekly and E! News considering that Page Six already had the “exclusive” story on Monday. But here we go – Beyonce is pregnant again. Allegedly, maybe. Probably. Or something. It’s worth noting that after Page Six claimed Bey was pregnant, Us Weekly ran a story with sources claiming she definitely was NOT. Then Beyonce had to cancel one of her concerts in Belgium and everyone was all “Oh, it’s on, break out the pillows, y’all.”
Let’s just do bullet points:
*E! News says: “That’s right: Superstar supermom Beyonc is expecting her second child with hubby Jay-Z, multiple sources exclusively confirm to E! News.
The news follows rampant speculation that the “Countdown” songbird was pregnant, even as the couple remained tight-lipped about their ever-growing family.”
*Us Weekly doesn’t have any new sourcing, they’re just citing E! News. But! Us Weekly does say that when Beyonce finally did perform in Belgium (after canceling the one concert), she told the crowd, “Now, my doctors told me not to perform tonight, but there was no way in the world.”
*And People Magazine doesn’t have anything. Yet. I feel like People’s editors think that Beyonce should confirm exclusively to them, but Beyonce’s people are like, “No, Bey, you gotta wait until some big event and then pop that pillow out!” Or something.
Anyway, the long and short of it is that there’s still no real confirmation. Watch this space!

Looks like Jay-Z may have opened the floodgates to baby town as sources are telling Page Six he’s finagled another baby into Beyonce.
Bey wore a Givenchy gown with a high, belted waist that carefully camouflaged her midsection, but pictures have emerged on blogs of what looks like a baby bump from recent tour dates. Last week Beyonc, who gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy in January 2012, gave an interview to ABC?s ?GMA,? where she said, ?I would like more children. I think my daughter needs some company. I definitely love being a big sister.? But she came short of saying when that would occur: ?At some point, when it?s supposed to happen,? she told ABC?s Amy Robach.
If you’ve been paying attention, this is how you tell a celebrity is pregnant according to the media. First, the celebrity alludes to wanting kids. Next, they hide their stomach at red carpet events. Third, they eat one taco too many and show up on stage looking like a fatty.
Adding fuel to the fire, she just canceled her concert in Belgium citing dehydration and exhaustion.

Beyonce was one of the most photographed women at last night?s Met Gala. Probably because she was the co-chair, I guess. And probably because, from the looks of it, she posed the longest and the hardest on the red carpet. She wanted to make sure every photographer got every angle on her ensemble. Like Kim Kardashian (HA), Beyonce wore Givenchy. And like Kim, everything was very matchy-matchy ? matching dress and gloves and boots. I don?t know what?s happened with the house of Givenchy ? responsible for many of Audrey Hepburn?s most iconic looks ? but I honestly wondered, ?Huh, is this House of Dereon??
So, let?s talk about it. Is this punk? Eh. It doesn?t work on the ?punk? level at all, nor does it work on the ?well, at least it?s a pretty dress? level either. The combination of a sequined, cropped bustier with belt and the ?paisley fire!? fabric just seems kind of trashy and the whole thing ? like Kim?s look ? is just too matchy-matchy. I think the dress would have been more interesting if she paired it with straight-up black leather dominatrix boots and straight-up black leather gloves. That would have been a more interesting look at least. But this is just so? yeah, House of Dereon.
I don?t know where Jay-Z was? He was probably there, but I guess he didn?t walk the carpet with Bey.

Here are some assorted photos of Beyonce performing during concerts in Amsterdam and Bratislava. Some of these pics are from photo agencies and some of the photos are from Beyonce?s Tumblr (you can see more here). I have a point by describing the origins so specifically! Do you remember how Beyonce got super-pissed that Buzzfeed (and other sites) published some unflattering photos of her Halftime performance? Her publicist demanded that Buzzfeed pull the photos, and her publicist also tried to get the photo agency, Getty, to delete the photos from their archives.
This is because Queen Beyonce will not let you see an unflattering photo. Beyonce has her own personal photographer and videographer on her 24-7 staff (all of which goes into the Beyonce Archives), and she?d prefer it if you just used those photos. Now that Beyonce is on tour, she doesn?t want peasant photographers taking another unflattering photo of her, so she?s BANNING ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS from her tour. Except her personal photographer, of course.
According to Jezebel, Beyonce has banned professional photographers from her tour and she?s releasing ? through her subsidiary Parkwood Entertainment ? pre-approved images through the Associated Press. So, the AP just got in bed with Project Only Flattering Photos of Beyonce. But? as Fstoppers (via Jezebel) reported:
Beyonc banned all professional photographers from her shows, hoping this way no unflattering photos will make it to mainstream media.
But we all know how media works ? they will do anything possible to get images that other publications don?t have. If they cant send a photographer to give them original photos, the next best thing they can do is buy photos from fans in the front rows in the arena (cameras were not allowed, but no one can take away phones). It?s the next best thing for them, and a huge nightmare for Beyonc and her publicist.

When I first read this story, I thought first to the photos I?d seen of Beyonce on tour on WENN, and how those were probably about to be pulled. And then I thought about her Tumblr, which has been a God-send for a blogger like me. Whenever we don?t have photos of Bey at our photo agencies, I just check her Tumblr. She only posts flattering photos of herself, of course, but the pics are there to be used and it?s like a gift she?s giving us. I think a lot of outlets will probably be fine with only using the photos on her Tumblr. But I would love it if a fan got an unflattering photo of control-freak Beyonce and it got posted everywhere.

Beyonce is the face (and body) of H&M?s Summer campaign this year, and these are some of the photos from the campaign. I forget when the announcement came exactly ? maybe a few months ago? I didn?t think much of it at the time, other than ?Why is Bey going so downmarket? They must have paid her quite a bit.? I still can?t find how much Beyonce is getting to be the face of the brand, but I would imagine it?s probably mid-seven-figures, don?t you?
The campaign was shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. I?m not crazy about some of these photos ? Beyonce isn?t as good at modeling as she thinks she is, and her expression is exceptionally blank, even for her. I?m also not sure what?s being sold ? gold bangles, maybe? Vacations? Ah, no. The bikinis are what?s being sold. Also, this is part and parcel of Beyonce?s new ?collaboration? for her tour, like the deal she has with Pepsi. H&M ads and billboards with these images will be tagged as ?Mrs. Carter?. As in, The Mrs. Carter World Tour.
Beyonce said about the ad campaign: ?I?ve always liked H&M?s focus on fun and affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements ? fire, water, earth and wind. It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial.? Girl… “fire, water, earth and wind”? Your butt was on the beach drinking mojitos!!!!!!
Donald Schneider, Creative Director of H&M, said: ?H&M?s summer campaign starring Beyonc is an epic fantasy, with glamour, drama and also a sense of paradise. It was amazing to watch her on the shoot make it all look effortless ? a quality that makes her such an icon for women around the world. The campaign is the essence of Beyonc, and also the essence of H&M this summer.? An epic fantasy? These photos look like they?re from a Hawaiian Tropic campaign.

H&M announced today that Beyonce will replace Lana Del Rey as the new face of their brand. They also released their first official ad featuring the singer lounging in a blouse and hotpants.
The print images and television commercial were shot in the Bahamas earlier this year and the adverts will introduce the bikini-clad star as ?Beyonc as Mrs Carter in H&M?.
Items in the tropical-inspired collection ? which hits stores in May ? are ?full of her own personal style? and also include high-waisted shorts.
Beyonce said shooting the campaign on a tropical island was more like making a video than a commercial. Because shooting a commercial on a tropical island is so taxing and tedious. It’s like, ugh, you’re paid to be on this beautiful tropical island and you have to work instead of doing your own thing? I mean, what the hell, man.

Beyonce covers the April issue of Shape Magazine. I LOVE that swimsuit. It’s so cute, and I love that she isn’t hanging out of it. This is her first time covering Shape, I think. And guess what she?s talking about? You?ll never believe it. She?s talking about how much weight she gained while pregnant (side-eye) and how difficult it was to lose the weight (side-eye) and how anyone can lose weight if they just live like Beysus. So inspirational! Or something.
“Talking about weight can be a very touchy subject for women,” according to Shape magazine editor-in-chief, Tara Kraft (and, well, millions of other moms out there), but someone has to do it. Who better than one of the 100 sexiest women of the 21 Century herself? Beyonce Knowles.
Shape’s April 2013 issue features Knowles, who Kraft says is bravely willing to go where few women have gone — talking about weight — “because she wanted to make every woman out there feel like they, too, could achieve what she did.”
In case you blinked and missed what that achievement is, Knowles goes on to explain it — going from bootylicious pre-baby fabulousness to pregnancy and back, all in the span of three months — in a behind-the-scenes video of her Shape magazine cover shoot.
“I gained 57 pounds when I was pregnant. I didn’t have a lot of time to lose the weight, because I scheduled a show three months after I gave birth, which I would never do again,” Knowles says in the minute-and-a-half video clip. “I’m not a person that is naturally very thin. I am a person that has to work at keeping my body in shape,” she goes on to say, adding that dance is what keeps her active.
Add cardio, lunges, and a diet full of veggies and lean meat to that, according to Shape editor-at-large, Bahar Takhtehchian, who revealed to The Insider last year what Beyonc’s post-baby fitness routine consisted of. Trainer Marco Borges said it’s one vegan meal a day that has helped Bey keep her nearly 60 pound weight gain at bay.
But while “it’s really really hard to lose your baby weight, because you don’t always have the time,” as Kraft admits, it’s easy to work it into your lifestyle the way Beyonc does, she says. “She’s not setting the bar too high, she’s helping everyone feel like they can get there.”
Beyonc, on the other hand, says that where she is, isn’t necessarily where everyone else needs to be. “Not everyone is supposed to be the same. Be healthy and take care of yourself, but be happy with the beautiful things that make you, you.”

Even though Beyonce is usually deserving of some ?O RLY?-screams, I like that she acknowledges that ?Not everyone is supposed to be the same? and at least her trainer isn?t trying to tell all women that they need to lose all of their baby weight and do it right now. So, in some ways Beyonce and her team are WAY better than Gwyneth Paltrow and Tracy ?Let Me Take Off Your Pants So I Can Body-Shame You? Anderson. Now, even with Beyonce?s caveats, I still don?t believe that it was so super-easy for her to ?get back into shape? after the baby. By most accounts, she was dancing, training and working out for like eight hours a day after Blue Ivy was born. And that?s not realistic for most women.

Beyonce’sLife Is But a Dreamdocumentary premiered on HBO Saturday night. Not having watched it, I went looking for criticisms. Then I got lazy and started browsing Reddit. Nevertheless, before that happened, I read MTV’s review. The only criticism they had they posed in the form of a question. “Was it too polished?’ Not much of a critique since that’s like asking if my abs aretoo washboardy. (Yes)
Regardless, her fans loved it especially since 13-month-old Blue Ivy Carter made her first appearance since she was born. Beyonce’s kid graced us with her presence during a closeup toward the end of the documentary. Though quick, it was enough to bring everyone to their knees and cause them to weep towards the heavens. For you do not gaze upon the face of hip-hop royalty without experiencing such euphoria.

Last night, Beyonce?s Beyonce-themed, all-about-Beyonce, directed by Beyonce documentary Life Is But A Dream premiered on HBO. I didn?t watch it, so please don?t expect me to talk about it, but feel free to discuss it. The header image is apparently an outtake image from the documentary, and it?s the first time we?ve seen Blue Ivy Carter?s full-on face in a year (although we have had glimpses of her head to varying degrees in the past year). Everyone is making a big deal about how Blue Ivy looks so much like Jay-Z? but?? I mean, I can see a resemblance to Jay. But I also think she looks like Beyonce too. She?s got an interesting blend of both parents, and maybe I?m not seeing what everyone else is seeing. Maybe she got Jay-Z?s eyes? Blue Ivy is more than 13 months old at this point ? to me she looks older than that.
In case you?re like me and you haven?t watched the documentary, various sites have recaps so I?m sure you?ll catch up. One of my favorite details that?s come out is that Beyonce claims to have gained 57 pounds during her pregnancy. For real? No she didn?t.
I?m also including some images from Beyonce?s appearance as the cover girl for The Gentlewoman?s Spring/Summer issue. It?s a UK publication, and I kind of like the subdued black-and-white images. I prefer them to Beyonce?s Terry Richardson photo shoot, you know? I don?t even know if she?s wearing makeup!
