Blue Ivy Carter is only seven years old. It feels like she?s always been here, judging us for being peasants and worrying about how we?re all completely uncool. Blue Ivy Carter has already achieved so much in her seven years: she?s a fashionista, a songwriter, a singer, a model, an actress, a dancer and a teacher. She teaches her parents to be better, to do better. She single-handedly saved not one but TWO Grammy telecasts. Do I need to say it? Does Beyonce need to say it? Blue Ivy is already an icon. Beyonce said it too! Beyonce has been suing a wedding planner whose business is called ?Blue Ivy.? It?s all about who owns the name Blue Ivy/Blue Ivy Carter. I?ll let The Blast explain:
Beyonc is laying down the law in the battle with a wedding planner over ?Blue Ivy?, calling her daughter a ?cultural icon? in court documents. According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Beyonc is firing back at the Veronica Morales over in the trademark battle for ?Blue Ivy?. Beyonc and Morales have been locked in a dispute over the trademark for years. Bey has been trying to get the trademark to her daughter?s name, but Morales claims she had already been using it. They are scheduled to head to trial in the case.
In the newly filed documents, Beyonc argues her case for being granted the trademark. She even throws a little shade towards Morales in the process. Beyonc says Morales claim that, ?that consumers are likely to be confused between a boutique wedding event planning business and Blue Ivy Carter, the daughter of two of the most famous performers in the world, is frivolous and should be refused in its entirety.? Beyonc points out her trademark application is for ?Blue Ivy Carter? NOT ?Blue Ivy?.
She says, ?the presence of the word ?CARTER? ties the commercial impression of BGK?s Mark to the celebrity Blue Ivy Carter rather than Opposer?s regional event planning business.? Beyonc says Morales runs a ?small business, with just three regional offices and a handful of employees?, with weak online presence and poorly subscribed social media accounts.
She accuses Morales of having, ?exhibited a pattern and practice of affirmatively attempting to connect its brand with Blue Ivy Carter to increase its exposure and drum up business.? Bey points to interviews Morales gave following her daughter?s birth. In the radio interviews, she talked about her business receiving more attention. She even admitted reaching out to Beyonc?s agent. Beyonc says Morales also had a sale on Blue Ivy?s birthday.

I mean? this woman already had a business named Blue Ivy when Beyonce and Jay-Z named their daughter Blue Ivy Carter. Do I believe that Bey should be able to trademark her daughter?s name? For sure. But I also believe that Beyonce shouldn?t go around suing people for naming their business something years before Beyonce wanted the name for one of her children. All that being said, I?m glad that everyone acknowledges that Blue Ivy Carter is a cultural icon. Think of it this way: none of us will ever be as cool as Blue Ivy. Period, the end.

Beyonce and Jay-Z had a good 2018. It was good for many reasons their tour was super-successful, there was no elevator drama, nor was there another big marriage drama. They have three healthy children. Beyonce killed at Coachella. They both still make so much money. So, yeah, everything seems fine with them. I was surprised by how many people predicted trouble for Bey-Z in 2019 though it made me wonder if 2018 was just the calm before another storm. So is it suspicious that People Magazine ran a ?nothing to see here, folks, they?re totally fine!? story?
Beyonc and JAY-Z are ending 2018 on a good note. Following her lavish trip to India to perform at a concert during the wedding festivities for Isha Ambani, the daughter of India?s richest man, Mukesh Ambani, Beyonc and her family spent Christmas on the east coast, a source tells PEOPLE. To bring in the new year, the Carters have traveled to Los Angeles.
?It was a very special year for the whole family,? the source shares. ?Beyonc and JAY loved touring and connecting with their fans.? On Oct. 4, the pair concluded their On the Run II Tour in Seattle after traveling around the world with their three children: 6-year-old daughter Blue Ivy and 18-month-old twins Rumi and Sir.
?They enjoyed bringing their whole family on tour. It was like a big adventure for everyone. They loved showing Blue around Europe, enjoyed solo date nights and family fun,? the source says. ?Beyonc and JAY seem closer than ever. They are very grateful for another wonderful year together. They are definitely looking back at this year with huge smiles.?
OTR II brought in over $250 million and was attended by many A-list friends, including the Kardashians and Michelle Obama.

As I said, I thought they had a good year too, and Jay and Beyonce genuinely seemed to have weathered their marriage crisis several years ago, and now they?re stronger than ever. It?s one thing for me to just assume that they?re fine it?s quite another for sources to talk about how THEY ARE TOTALLY FINE to People Magazine. It just feels like advance work on a story which will break in 2019. Maybe I?m just being too suspicious though. Hm.

Every year, Beyonce and Jay-Z schedule their summers very carefully, even when they?re in the middle of a tour. Right now, they?re in the middle of their On the Run II Tour and promoting their joint album. But they still managed to slip away for weeks to spend time on a yacht in the Mediterranean. The Carters do love spending time in Europe, and they love a good yacht vacation. It?s worth noting that the Carters are back stateside for OTRII, but Beyonce is still thinking about the #YachtLyfe. Which is why she posted some photos on her website from the vacation. And now we have the most recent photos of Rumi and Sir and Blue Ivy!
The photo of Rumi and Sir is especially notable because it feels like we never really see the twins. It was that way when Blue was really little too we really didn?t see her *that* much, and then when she got old enough to walk and take her rightful place front row at fashion shows and awards shows, then we saw more of her. I?m expecting the same of Rumi and Sir once they get old enough, they?ll be pulling up to the Grammys too. Apparently, Rumi is the one on the right, and Sir is the one looking down on the left. They are both clearly Jay-Z?s babies, much like Blue. Jay has some strong genes! Blue is amazing too.
There are still rumors going around that Beyonce is pregnant again. At this point, I kind of think we need to just stop trying to get all up in Bey?s womb. Granted, I thought she looked pregnant a month ago too, but nowadays I think she just gets a little bit bloated. Even deities find it difficult to lose weight in their midsection after a certain age too.

I?m still shook about Beyonce and Jay-Z?s ?Apesh-t? video. I went into it cold, not expecting anything other than some cool imagery and a good song. It took me a second to realize? ?holy sh-t, they shot this IN THE LOUVRE.? Very few people get to shoot anything in the Louvre. It?s not hotbed of fulfilled filming-location requests, because the Louvre is one of the biggest tourist attractions (if not the biggest) in Paris. There?s just no way that the museum could shut down to allow film productions or video productions to shoot there all the time. But they made an exception for Beyonce. So maybe that Illumanti sh-t is real the head of the Louvre must be the grand master of Priory of Sion, and Beyonce is descended from? wait, I mixed up the plot of The DaVinci Code again. Anyway, apparently the Louvre allowed Bey and Him to shoot in the museum because? they, like, visited it a few times.
David. Gricault. Da Vinci! They were just a few of the artists Beyonc and Jay-Z strategically featured in their new ?Apesh*t? music video ? performing under the name the Carters ? mostly because, oh, you know, they were given private access to the Louvre to groove around whichever masterpieces they wanted. As us plebeians can?t usually get close enough to the ?Winged Victory of Samothrace? without being yelled at by another patron to move out of their photo, we couldn?t help ponder to Apollo, the Greek god of the arts: How was the museum able to grant such a big request? And remain secretive about the whole damn thing? Silly us. Like the Louvre wouldn?t do anything for Beyonc.
?Beyonc and Jay-Z visited the Louvre four times in the last ten years. During their last visit in May 2018, they explained their idea of filming,? a spokesperson for the museum told Vulture. ?The deadlines were very tight but the Louvre was quickly convinced because the synopsis showed a real attachment to the museum and its beloved artworks.? Quickly convinced! Tight deadlines! The Palace of Versailles could never.

My mind is still blown, honestly. Can you even imagine the amount of coordination, and all of it done without anyone breathing a word? They had to have the dancers all ready, and the routine ready too. They had to have all of the costumes worked out ahead of time. They had a director who knew how to film everything in that narrow time frame my assumption is that they were probably only given one night, MAYBE two nights and they had to not only get the dancing and posing, but they had to get beauty shots of all of the artwork. It?s insane.

This week?s Star Magazine has a story which I thought, at the time, was utter crap. But then I saw that a lot of people who have been to Beyonce and Jay-Z?s On The Run II tour have been thinking the exact same thing. Have you been to see one of the OTRII concerts? If so, did Bey look pregnant to you? That?s what they?re saying:
She may be on the run, but Beyonce can?t hide from Star?s spies. Tipsters at Beyonce?s concert tour caught Beyonce covering up what they suspect to be a baby bump! Rumors first swirled at her Coachella performance, where our insider claims Bey had doctors backstage: ?Several people heard them discussing her vitals after they gave her a quick checkup before she went on-stage.?
Beyonce, 36, is sure to be bulging when her OTRII tour wraps up in October. But she?s keeping things a secret in an effort to keep audiences in perfect formation. ?She?s rushing to change her costumes so that she can keep the bump covered up for as long as possible,? reveals a tour insider. ?Only a few have been entrusted with the news, but it doesn?t take a genius to figure out what?s going on.?
Insiders also say that Beyonce is thrilled to be expecting, especially if it keeps Jay-Z crazy in love: ?Beyonce isn?t quite sure her husband will never cheat again, but she knows he 100% wouldn?t think about it while she?s carrying their child. Jay worships her when she?s expecting and rarely leaves her side, which makes a nice change from when he does his own thing. It?s a shock so soon after the birth of the twins, but she?s over the moon.?

The photos in this post are from June 6th, during the OTRII concert in Cardiff. I?ve chosen the most bumpy photos I could find, clearly, but I?ll fully admit that there were plenty of photos of Beyonce looking svelte in an extremely cinched corset too. I would say that Beyonce would never wear a tight corset while pregnant, except that?s what she did during her first (pillowy) pregnancy with Blue Ivy. I hope the Beyhive doesn?t hate me for saying this too: it?s also possible that Queen Bey hasn?t lost all of the baby weight from Rumi and Sir. Which is totally understandable you get to a certain age (?36? LOL) and it gets harder to drop any kind of weight.

Some people remain unconvinced that Sanaa Lathan was the Mystery Actress who bit Beyonce. I too remain unconvinced, although I do think Sanaa is one of the likeliest suspects. TMZ claims to have sources close to Tiffany Haddish, so really those sources are just going by what Tiffany said, and who knows? I don?t know. But I?m enjoying all of the conspiracies and I love that it?s become an enormous and bizarre gossip story. So how is Beyonce feeling?
Beyonc was overwhelmed with all of the support she received after Tiffany Haddish revealed that the singer was bitten on her face by an unnamed actress at a party in December, a source tells Us Weekly exclusively.
?She thinks it?s sweet people are so concerned, but also doesn?t want to make life hard for the person that did it,? the source says. ?Beyonc?s team is being contacted by almost everyone they?ve ever met! They are getting texts and calls asking, ?Were you there? What did you see? Have you heard anything?? It?s pretty insane for anyone that works with Beyonc.?

Here are some photos of Beyonce at the Tidal X benefit show for the Robin Hood Foundation over the weekend. Without even looking it up, I assumed this gown was Givenchy and I was right! Beyonce loves Givenchy and Riccardo Tisci, even if ? don?t hurt me Beyhive ? I don?t think Givenchy is the best label for her at this point. Then again, I?ve never really thought that Beyonce is a style icon. She?s a musical icon, a pop icon, a feminist icon, an activist icon, but her style is? not great?
If you notice with this look, Beyonce wore some big matchy-matchy earrings to the event. She wore the same ensemble for her performance at the benefit show, and apparently Beyonce?s (right) earring got caught on something and her earring RIPPED OUT OF HER EAR! And as she was performing, she noticed she was bleeding.
