We discussed Katie Holmes? new relationship with Emilio Vitolo Jr. the other day. Katie has been surprisingly public with Emilio they were photographed on a wine-drinking date, and then days later, there were a number of ?exclusive? photos of Katie and Emilio kissing. He?s 33 years old and a chef/restaurateur and she?s 41 years old and a single mom. I was just happy that she was getting some and having fun. But did you know that Katie Holmes is a terrible homewrecker who forced her young lover to dump his fiancee? It?s true!
Katie Holmes new boytoy has been branded a cheater who was engaged to be married and callously dumped his fiance by text after pictures emerged of him canoodling with Holmes outside a New York restaurant, DailyMail.com can reveal. DailyMail.com published exclusive images of Holmes getting handsy with her new squeeze restaurateur, chef and aspiring actor, Emilio Vitolo Jr. yesterday.
Now DailyMail.com can reveal that for Rachel Emmons, 24, they were further painful proof of the relationship that first came to public attention last week and led to the devastating end of her engagement to the man she once described as ?her world.? According to a friend who asked not to be named: Up to this press coming out Rachel had no idea what was going on. He is a cheater, and this isnt a happy ending story.
The friend said the pretty designer had devoted her life to 33-year-old Vitolo and the couple not only lived together, but had shared a puppy together since last May.
Rumors that Holmes, who at 41 is almost ten years Vitolos senior, and the chef were romantically involved were first sparked when the pair were spotted outside the restaurant Peasant in New York last week. But, according to the friend, Emmons believed that she was getting married to Vitolo until his romance with Holmes ended that.
The friend said, They had concrete wedding plans in the works?now she is just left with bad press and forced to move home.
DailyMail.com understands that Vitolo texted Emmons the day the pictures were published, perhaps aware that his relationship with Holmes was about to be blown wide open.

I was just joking about the homewrecker thing, but in all seriousness, he gives off a starfker vibe, like the kind of guy who will dump a live-in girlfriend when he gets a shot with someone like Katie Holmes. Reminiscent of the way Justin Theroux tossed aside his live-in girlfriend Heidi Bivens for Jennifer Aniston, honestly. It does beg the question? is Katie Holmes doing an Aniston-esque boyfriend rollout with a shady dude? Hm.

People have some very odd theories about Katie Holmes? love life post-Tom Cruise. Katie left Tom Cruise in 2012 in what seemed (at the time) like a near-military-level withdrawal from hostile territory. Katie learned a lot from the Cruise mess, especially when it came to guarding her privacy. She basically dated Jamie Foxx in almost complete secrecy for years and years. Some people theorized that she wasn?t ?allowed? to be seen with Foxx as part of her divorce agreement. I think she just wants to present a bland public persona so people will stay out of her business. Anyway, Katie and Jamie broke up last year. It wasn?t a huge story because most people didn?t even know the state of their relationship before that breakup. Still, I wasn?t expecting Katie to be seen on a very public date in the middle of a pandemic!

Katie Holmes has been out and about this week in NYC, wearing her mask at all times like a good citizen. But Katie is Katie and she likes some wacky fashion. Earlier this week, she wore an ensemble with wide-leg jeans, a blue-and-green plaid shirt and $430 Birkenstocks. People have strong feelings about Birks but I?ve had cheap off-brand pairs and they?re fine. But I?m saying that as a comfortable-sandal lover. I love flip flops and sandals. I actually love the colors she?s working with in this ensemble I love when people mix blue and green, and I love the combination of jeans and plaid/flannel (I?m a ?90s girl), especially with her coordinated mask and shopping bag. That being said, I had to do a close examination on the jeans because these are like optical-illusion mom jeans. I swear, from certain angles, it looks like the waistband is elastic. Also: I will be so happy if wide-leg jeans come back into style. Truly.
Katie also stepped out on Thursday in this ensemble. She?s really feeling lighter-wash denim for the late summer/early fall I guess. I?m fine with the skirt and I love a pencil skirt, always even in denim. But the sweater! OMG. I hate that. I hate the fussy puckered detail on the shoulder seams. I hate the neck. I hate the billowy sleeves. You know Katie probably got paid to wear this! And you know the sweater probably costs like $600.

I?m stealing this story away from CB before she sees the word ?nap? and tries to claim that she?s the Nap Queen and therefore she has to write about ALL celebrity naps. I nap too, CB! I just don?t nap as often as her. She loves to take a nap every day. I don?t need that I just need 10-20 minutes of quiet contemplation/meditation and some heathens might refer to it as ?disco nap? and so be it. Why all this nap discussion? Because Katie Holmes is a napper, but she also makes it sound sort of like my disco napping/meditation/quiet time thing. Katie chatted at the ?Time to Hear Me Roar? health and wellness panel recently and she chatted about napping and fitness. Some quotes:
On naps: ?I?m not afraid to take a nap in the middle of the day or any time. I?m sort of always done that ? whenever I?m on set I always nap at lunch because it resets me. And sometimes I just need to be quiet for 20 minutes and think and regroup, whether it?s going through a list of gratitude in my head or what am I coming up against ands how can I figure that out and go about it in a different way, like if I?m not reaching that goal what?s standing in my way and how do I fix that because there are roadblocks and it;s really hard and you can get down on yourself, like, ?Gosh, do I suck?? And then you have to figure it out.?
On gym time/fitness: ?I do a variation. I used to put a lot of pressure [on myself], like ?Did I work out five times this week?? whatever, and then I was like, I?m going to put this in the category of self care and actually enjoy it and look at it like that because I don?t have to put the pressure. I do yoga or boxing or cycling, sometimes I run. I did the marathon in 2007 and I felt like I really ran it. I don?t run as much as anymore. I thought I would run 10 miles a week after that but oh no, that?s really long.?
Keeping active helps her mentally: ?It always makes me feel better because even if I do five minutes it?s better than sitting on the couch, just get the body moving. If I?m stressed about it something it immediately clears that and then I can think more clearly, look at it from a different point of view. It?s like taking a walk, it gets everything loosened up. I?ve been running and working out since I was about 11 and when I was growing up if I had a test I would calm myself and it just helps when you?re around with a lot of different energy or whatever and you need to get rid of that and back to being myself.?
What she does on the days she doesn?t work out: ?In general, if I don?t feel like going to work or I don?t feel like going to work out usually those are the days that I grow the most or I discover something that I never thought I would or it turned out to be one of the best days. I always try to keep that in mind.?

The ?I did the marathon in 2007? comment is interesting because at the time, there was a widespread conspiracy that Katie actually faked her New York Marathon run. Very few people saw her running the course and the only photos from her run were at the finish line. CB wrote that up at the time and I?ve always been on Team Katie Holmes Faked Her Marathon Run. Don?t get me wrong, I believe that she?s active and she used to run, in general, and she looks very fit. But I still believe she faked that. As for the napping? she seems to have an aversion to saying ?I like to quietly meditate.? It?s really okay to say that. You don?t have to disguise it!

Its rare that I get jealous of celebrity red carpet duties but this is one of those times. These are photos from a Harry Winston event that just looks amazing. Can you imagine getting paid to model diamonds worth six figures and more? Check out these women rocking these diamonds and precious stones looking pleased as hell. Kaiser reminded me of Oceans Eight today and how much jewelry, fashion, hair and makeup there was in that movie. I saw it in the theater and loved it so much. In fact Katie Holmes had a cameo in that.
Katie was in a red satin Zac Posen gown and went full old Hollywood with her hair and makeup. Zac is a friend of Katies and has dressed her for the Met Gala many times. This dress has such thoughtful design, with art deco lines and open petal sleeves. My only complaint is that her gold shoes look a little mismatched, but thats minor.
Naomi Watts had on a floral Erdem gown accented by green velvet tie belt and matching collar. This is so dowdy, especially the print and color. At least its tailored well but other than that I dislike this.
Jennifer Hudsons expression here says it all. Shes more than happy to model this jewelry. She was in a strapless navy gown with a bodice accented by floral applique and a tulle overlay. Ive never seen tulle used like that, to provide a kind of modesty panel, and its clever.
Heres Angela Sarafyan, who was such a standout in a low cut gown with a corset top and metallic sequin lattice design. I bet it was extremely hard for the Harry Winston people to resist putting a necklace on her, but it works and makes the other jewelry shine. Shes so striking.
Naomi Watts posted this video which says to me Im wearing millions worth of diamonds and I feel fabulous.

Low-key couple Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx, last spotted together at Jamie?s lavish 50th birthday party last month, are continuing to take baby steps in making their relationship public. The pair, who have been linked since 2013, are ?starting to be more comfortable about their relationship,? according to US Magazine.
The magazine spoke to a friend of Jamie?s who notes that he and Katie ?care about each other a lot and they tried to stay as quiet as possible because they didn?t want to ruin that.? Confirming what we already kind of knew to be true, the friend added that the two have ?definitely become more serious? and that ?Jamie brings a lot of joy and happiness into [Katie?s] life.?
The two may be getting closer, but they remain independent and keep their families in the forefront. US?s source acknowledged that ?When they?re together it works. When they?re not, they?re on their own. It?s what works for them.? Case in point, the couple spent New Year?s Eve apart. Jamie partied the night away at Lavo nightclub in Singapore, celebrating the arrival of 2018 with his 23-year-old daughter Corrine and his sister, Deidra Dixon.
Katie spent the holiday with her 11-year-old daughter Suri. Mom and daughter bonded in the snow during a ski trip in Park City, Utah. At the opening of Las Vegas eatery Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer last Friday, the 38-year-old actress told PEOPLE, ?I?m spending my New Year?s with family and I?m really happy about that. I?ve been doing a lot of skiing with my daughter and that?s been a really great joy for me.? Side note: apparently, Suri is quite the skier. And Katie is ?an amazing mom,? an insider told US, confirming that ?She?ll choose her family over [Jamie] any day.?
Katie does really seem like an awesome parent, and she?s managed to get past splitting with Tom Cruise (and the Church of Scientology) and regained her life and career – she?ll be on the big screen in Oceans 8 this summer, which I can?t wait to see. She?s due some true happiness, and I hope that?s what she?s got with Jamie.

Katie Holmes was in Zac Posen last night and she came with Posen as her date. I have a confession to make – remember when I gushed over Zac Posen’s purses in this Kendall Jenner post a couple of weeks ago? Well I bought this one from Off 5th. It’s not very practical because the sides flap open and it has just one inside compartment but it’s gorgeous and I love it. So I’m a Posen apologist. I know that about half of you didn’t like the princess gown he created for Claire Danes at the Met Gala last year, but it was one of my favorites. So to me this is a great gown on Katie but totally underwhelming. It’s just a very nice fishtail gown with a tiered ruffled train and tiered sleeves. The top isn’t even fitted properly, like it was intended for another woman and Katie got it last minute. I expected more from him, frankly. Katie’s jewelry is amazing and her makeup is very good too. I shouldn’t like smudged blue eyeshadow but somehow it works.
Zoe Kravitz was in Oscar de la Renta and I like her styling but this dress is meh to me. It’s just a Pink satin off shoulder gown with a cape and train and some black floral poofs stuck on it. It has drama but I feel like we’ve seen this several times before.
Daisy Ridley was cute in an Oscar de la Renta gown featuring a black tank and a bold black and white floral print high-low skirt. This is lovely but it?s more for a lesser awards ceremony than the Met Gala. It doesn?t really fit the theme. They were raving over her topknot on E! Her hair does look very cool and I just love her makeup. Some of the cat eye looks last night were to die for.

Katie Holmes recently posted some photos to Instagram of daughter Suri, with Suri’s face strategically covered, at a birthday party for Katie’s mom, Kathleen, in New York City. Katie’s family lives in her native Ohio, but they come to visit her and Suri in New York often. It’s a good thing that Katie is close to her family as they seem to have been instrumental in helping her divorce Tom and escaped from Scientology (Katie’s dad is a lawyer). In a new interview with People, Katie heaps praise on her mom and says that she hopes to parent Suri, 10, the same way she was – with kindness and generosity:
When it comes to raising daughter Suri, Katie Holmes looks to her own mom, Kathleen, for parenting cues.
“She’s just so kind and has such a pure heart; she really leads with those two qualities, so I try to do the same,” Holmes, 37, told PEOPLE at the Sept. 8 opening of the restaurant Avra Madison in New York City.
“She’s just so kind and very generous, so I try my best to embody that and pass that on to my own daughter,” Holmes says.
The night before the restaurant launch ? which the actress-director hosted ? Holmes took her mother as her date to the re-opening of the Cartier Mansion in New York, an outing that doubled as a birthday celebration for Kathleen.
“It’s always a blessing to be able to have time with my mom ? especially time in the city with her,” Holmes says. “We always have a good time.”

That’s really sweet and I can definitely relate. I live in the same town as my mom and I hang out with her a couple of times a week and it still doesn’t feel like enough. And only recently have I realized how much she gave up for us and what an incredible parent and grandparent she is. Love you mom!
While it may seem like a shame that Tom Cruise seems to have decided to cut off his daughter after Katie left him and Scientology, Suri has a very practical mother who is working to give her a normal life, with family and friends around them. Considering how deep Tom is in the cult, I can imagine the alternative and it’s chilling.
Here’s a photo of Katie with her mom last week at a Cartier event. Her dress is Valentino and it’s basically a beige-colored tulle sack with sparkly moons and butterflies on it. So fug. In the header photo, the white pants with the off the shoulder crop sweater, she’s wearing H&M collection. I kind of dig that outfit.
