Here are photos of Jennifer Lawrence yesterday in New York City after her romantic weekend with Chris Martin. JLaw was out apartment hunting, which has been her pasttime for the past few weeks. It sounds exhausting but fun too. Real estate dreams are fun, especially when you can afford them.
JLaw was reportedly looking to rent at one point (with a $10,000 per month budget), but the New York Daily News says she’s ready to splash out and buy a place. These photos show her holding a pamphlet for the Sterling Mason building. This prime location contains luxurious amenities, including a 71-foot lap pool, a huge private courtyard garden, and an underground garage, which would let JLaw come and go undetected (unless she wants to be spotted – she has lately). The Sterling Mason is very close to Goop’s all-white Tribeca penthouse. The NYDN also adds that Jennifer wants to have enough space for when Apple and Moses come to stay:
Jennifer Lawrence is ready to play house with Chris Martin and his kids. The Hollywood starlet, who’s been eyeing multimillion-dollar condos all over Tribeca in recent weeks, has stepped up her game by scoping out a pad with three bedrooms or more so she can accommodate Martin’s son, Moses, and daughter, Apple, sources told Daily News real estate editor Katherine Clarke.
The Silver Linings Playbook and Hunger Games star was recently seen clutching a brochure for a three-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom pad at 443 Greenwich St. The asking price: a cool $15.25 million.
Lawrence and Martin appear to be spending more time together, and with Martin’s school-age kids on summer vacation, Lawrence may well find herself playing the doting stepmom.
Lawrence has also eyed apartments at nearby condos — the Sterling Mason at 71 Laight St., where there’s a five-bedroom pad available for $9.9 million, and 429 Greenwich St., which has a $10 million ninth-floor unit available.
The common thread in all of these buildings? They’re within easy walking distance of the three-bedroom penthouse at 416 Washington St. that Martin shared with Gwyneth Paltrow before their “conscious uncoupling” in March 2014. The rock star and actress bought that home in 2009, and neat freak Paltrow, who still lives there, soon stripped and redesigned it with a white marble kitchen and all-white decor, down to the appliances.

I don’t really see the major issue — other than shacking up with Mr. Coldplay — with JLaw buying a three-bedroom penthouse. She can afford it, and most A-list celebrities purchase these extravagant apartments with extra space. She doesn’t have to use the rooms for the Martin-Paltrow kids to visit, but that’s the spin in this story. Is this a big deal? Goop would probably insist on luxurious surroundings if the kids stayed with Chris when he was living with JLaw. But there’s no way the decor in JLaw’s apartment will be all-white. Her Dorito dust trails are already epic without such a stark palate.

Here are some new photos of Jennifer Lawrence in NYC where she’s been looking for an apartment. She’s reportedly holding herself to a $10,000 per month budget, which sounds like a lot of money. It IS a lot, but it won’t get her a penthouse in Manhattan. The sure thing about JLaw setting up a secondary home base (in addition to her enviable LA digs) in the Big Apple is that she’ll get papped more often. Photogs are harder to avoid without a gated residence and long driveway in a private neighborhood.
Jennifer has definitely been papped a lot lately. We saw her imitating a goofy walrus with chopsticks. Now there are even stranger photos that show JLaw walking around with a scribbled mustache and unibrow. You can see the pictures here. She knew these pictures would end up splashed all over the internet, which is why she pulled an 8th grade move.
Now I’m scratching my head over this behavior. With the chopsticks, I figured she was sloshed and slipped into goofball mode. This face-drawing seems like a beg for attention. Such playfulness is probably her usual behavior behind closed doors, but JLaw has always kept a poker face around the paparazzi. She’ll flip them off (literally and figuratively). Why is she suddenly willing to attract attention from the cameras? Some people think she’s deflecting from the Chris Martin photos where he’s walking arm-in-arm with Kylie Minogue. I’m starting to believe this may be the case.

These are photos of Jennifer Lawrence leaving a NYC restaurant in NYC. She was dining at Nobu and decided to make “walrus” faces with her chopsticks. For some reason, JLaw decided this was the funniest thing on earth and laughed uproariously once the chopsticks fell from her mouth. I’m assuming liquor was involved with Jennifer’s weirdo act.
Yeah, she was definitely a little sauced. There’s no other reason for her casual attitude in front of the cameras. JLaw likes to let loose, but she always does so behind closed doors. Girlfriend spends so much time running from paps and often flips the bird when the cameras bother her. She’d be running with her face covered if she hadn’t overindulged in a sake tray. I can’t blame her for having a little fun, and no one got hurt because she hopped into a waiting car. Still, the walrus routine was not flattering.
One nice thing I’ll say — Jennifer’s casual style has improved a lot lately. She’s wearing cute little dresses and no longer dressing straight from the 1990s. She probably also had a massive hangover in the morning and will regret these photos.
P.S. Maybe JLaw’s simply saying hello to Chris and Kylie Minogue. Hmm.

Racking up some serious frequent flyer miles, Jennifer Lawrence caught an outbound flight at LAX International Airport on Wednesday morning (June 24).
The 24-year-old ?American Hustle? hottie carried her prized pooch Pippi in her arms as she scurried from her chauffeured car into the terminal, attempting to avoid the swarming shutterbugs.
Meanwhile, Jennifer?s rumored boyfriend Chris Martin was spotted walking arm-in-arm with Australian pop star Kylie Minogue in London on Sunday evening (June 21) until approximately 1:30 in the morning!

A few months ago, Jennifer Lawrence neared a $20 million deal to star in Passengers. The film is a space drama, which is the worst news about this project. There have been several similar films in past years, and Matt Damon’s The Martian looks pretty epic. Do we need another space drama?
Sony was hesitant about that aspect and also about JLaw’s salary, but after the Sony hack revealed her sketchy American Hustle salary, the studio will probably pay up. JLaw would have a smaller role than her male co-star, Chris Pratt (who would make $12 million). Now that Jurassic World hit a home run, Sony has greenlighted the project. Deadline tried to sound cautious about the story, but Hollywood Reporter confirms the project will happen:
Pratt’s fee has jumped from $10 million to $12 million while Lawrence is getting an exceptional $20 million against 30 percent of the profit after the movie breaks even, say sources.
Hollywood?s two hottest stars are teaming for a new movie set in outer space — but only after quite a bit of behind-the-scenes drama could have taken it out of Sony?s orbit.
Sony Pictures? new motion picture chairman Tom Rothman has greenlighted Passengers, a big-budget romantic sci-fi drama starring Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt with Oscar nominee Morten Tyldum (The Imitation Game) set to direct. And thanks to a deal that tied his remuneration to the success of Jurassic World, which broke box-office records with a $524.1 million global opening over the June 12 weekend, Pratt?s fee has jumped from $10 million to $12 million.
Lawrence, an Oscar winner and considered a top star, is getting an exceptional $20 million against 30 percent of the profit after the movie breaks even, say sources. Sony declined to comment.
Whatever the famously fiscally prudent Rothman?s misgivings might have been about paying such big bucks to talent or risking $150 million on an original script that has floated around Hollywood for years, he now finds himself in possession of a two-hander star vehicle with the most in-demand male and female actors in the business.

It’s funny how Hollywood balks at the idea of “an original script.” They’d rather have a proven franchise on their hands, obviously. This film could sink or swim. Even with plenty of star power and talent, sometimes a project doesn’t work for audiences. Remember how everyone thought Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie would be electric together in The Tourist? I hope this project isn’t a giant disaster for JLaw and Pratt. If it is, he’d probably be forgiven before she would. That’s how showbiz works.
P.S. Pratt did a Nerdist podcast and said he’s glad to be a late acting bloomer: “It?s a good thing I wasn?t famous when I was young because I was doing things that would?ve ruined people?s perception of me.”

One of the earlier Sony hack leaks dropped the news that Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams were both paid less than their male American Hustle co-stars. Amy’s role in the movie was large, and much of the film’s promotional material revolved around JLaw. Yet Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, and Jeremy Renner all received larger backend deals. At the time, Bale was the only male with a proven box-office record. Cooper has since proven he can draw audiences with American Sniper, but Renner has never pulled off a financially successful movie on his own. He’s always an ensemble player (and a douchey one too). Why would even Renner make more than the ladies?
We know the answer to that question. Hollywood (and society) often hands men higher paychecks for doing the same job as their women counterparts. JLaw has had enough, and she’s pulling a Charlize Theron. Hollywood Reporter reports that Jennifer agreed to star in a space drama/romance, Passengers, when Amy Pascal was in charge at Sony. The deal is still awaiting the final greenlight, and it sounds like this HR piece is an orchestrated push. The film would hand $20 million to JLaw and $10 milion to her co-star, Chris Pratt. Sony is starting to hesitate on Jennifer’s salary because this movie isn’t part of a franchise, but JLaw’s team put their foot down. She’ll get that salary, or she’ll walk:
If a person were to try to design a movie project that could simultaneously attract and repel a fiscally prudent studio executive like Sony Pictures’ new film chief Tom Rothman, it might be the space drama Passengers.
Rothman found Passengers awaiting his green light when he replaced Amy Pascal in the top job at the studio in late February. And while the project has obvious attractions — with red-hot Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt set to star in the interstellar love story and Morten Tyldum, who scored an Oscar nomination for directing The Imitation Game, on board — it hardly is an obvious yes: talent getting top dollar for an original idea with special effects that Rothman is said to see as a marketing challenge and that doesn’t appear to have franchise potential. Not necessarily an easy call for an executive expected to bring restraint to a studio that, under Pascal, long was known for its generosity to talent.
Before Rothman, 60, officially took over, Sony already had agreed to pay Lawrence $20 million to star, though her role actually is somewhat secondary to Pratt’s. His deal gives him about $10 million with the possibility (likelihood) of more based on the performance of Universal’s Jurassic World reboot. With its two huge stars, Passengers is important to Sony “because it has a hook; it’s marketable internationally,” argues one source close to the project, and the studio doesn’t have a lot of branded intellectual property in its cupboard.
Lawrence, 24, and her CAA reps are said to have held firm to the $20 million fee. Sources say Lawrence was prepared to walk away from Passengers if she didn’t get to $20 million on this film, and Tyldum was ready to exit with her. [Amy] Pascal herself might have fanned the flames with her February interview in which she was asked about the Lawrence pay gap. “The truth is that what women have to do is not work for less money,” Pascal said. “They have to walk away. People shouldn’t be so grateful for jobs.”

Sony needs to get it together on this film. Space movies are usually big moneymakers, and the final budget would be $80 million. Jennifer has an Oscar and a built-in audience who follows her to nearly any film (except Serena, ha), and Pratt is getting there too. HuffPo notes that “the Sony hack proved to be a blessing in disguise for Lawrence.” We’ll see. I hope Sony makes good on this deal. JLaw would join the likes of Angelina Jolie, RDJ, Denzel Washington, and Matt Damon in the salary department. Make it so!

Jennifer Lawrence wore Dior to co-host the Met Gala last night. At this point, I feel like Dior is playing JLaw hard. They usually put her in their worst designs, and she probably knows it. This relationship is strictly one of convenience for her. Jennifer doesn’t like to be bothered with styling decisions, which is fine. She’s not a fashion girl, and the industry treats her like one. Last night’s selection tried to fit the theme with a floral top stacked on top of a plain black skirt. The runway version had a shorter skirt that was pretty cute. They fancied-up the outfit for a gala, which translated into a matronly effect. The bib is perplexing. JLaw has new hair extensions now, and her spray tan has faded a bit, but her makeup is too cutesy.
Olivia Munn‘s J.Mendel gown had a weird ombre effect that reminded me of a Rocket Pop. With the halter neck and belly cutout, this dress is one big miss.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley‘s body never stops. This Versace gown impeccably fits her figure. She looks gorgeous, especially from the back. A bolder color would have been more fun though.
Uma Thurman decided to wear a Grecian toga-inspired white Versace gown. The one-sleeved detail is confusing and possibly an attempt to fit the theme.
Hannah Davis wore a strappy J. Mendel dress that’s notable for color only. SI: Swim models rarely make a splash at the Met gala. She accessorized with Derek Jeter.
Karlie Kloss didn’t dress for the event. Her black Versace is serviceable but nothing special.

She?s serving as a celebrity co-chair and Jennifer Lawrence certainly dressed to impress for the 2015 Met Gala tonight (May 4).
The ?Hunger Games: Catching Fire? cutie looked to be thoroughly enjoying herself as she chatted up a storm with her fellow famous peers while meandering around outside the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Every year the Met Gala provides the operating budget for the Costume Institute and since 1999, Anna Wintour has headed up the event, raising more than $145 million. Tickets run $25,000 each or $175,000 for a table of 10.
