Chris Martin spends his whole life surrounded by women. I still don’t get it. The last we heard about him and Jennifer Lawrence, they split a dessert in January. He spent Valentine’s Day with Goop. He hung out last month on a beach with Kate Hudson. And last week, he went to Mexico for a spring break holiday with Goop and their children. I assumed he and JLaw were done, not so much because of the Goop stuff. I’d feel weird if a boyfriend was hanging out with a newly single, bikini-clad Kate.
Martin Lawrence is still together and loving it. The above photo shows Jennifer heading to a private jet out of Boston (Bobby DeNiro was also there). They flew to Boston, where she met up with Chris in New Jersey. The Mail has photos of them at Teterboro Airport where they caught another private jet (that’s what the Mail says) to NYC. Here are the details about their romantic Central Park date from Page Six:
Jennifer Lawrence had a romantic date with Chris Martin at Central Park?s Tavern on the Green Saturday before taking a stroll through Strawberry Fields.
One spy told us, “Jennifer arrived first and waited in her car for a bit, then went to the table and sat with her bodyguard until Chris arrived.
“They had a quick lunch: She ate a roast beef sandwich, and he had eggs Benedict. Their table faced the courtyard, and people ran outside to take pics of them, but the bodyguard put a stop to that.”
An onlooker told us, “They were talking softly to each other throughout the meal. As they left, she changed shoes and her sweater, and she was overheard telling him she wanted to take a walk through Strawberry Fields, and they left holding hands.”
Oscar winner Lawrence, 24, and Martin, 38, were reunited just after he returned from a vacation with his kids and ex Gwyneth Paltrow in Mexico, a year after Paltrow announced their “conscious uncoupling.”
Sources say while Paltrow and Martin are continuing with their divorce, they have remained on friendly terms.

She ate roast beef, and he opted for eggs benedict. Now that’s the kind of detail I’m looking for in a Jennifer Lawrence story. The Strawberry Fields walk sounds romantic too, but it’s hard for me to picture JLaw “talking softly” on any occasion.
I guess Martin Lawrence is solid, and no matter what we see Chris do, they’ll probably stay together unless something big happens. TMZ says Goop and Chris are still working out their divorce terms by “working regularly with a private mediator to hash out the terms of their divorce.” People adds some details about this weekend: “They see each other when they can, yet each continues to do their own thing. Both have full plates, and they like it that way.” Honestly, I think this type of relationship is ideal for two in-demand artists. I just don’t understand why JLaw’s wasting the opportunity on Chris Martin.

With so many amazing film offers on the table, Jennifer Lawrence is looking to wrap up her residency at the ?X-Men? fanchise.
During an interview with MTV News, the ?American Hustle? hottie explained that she?s done playing Mystique after ?X-Men: Apocalypse.? ?It?s my last one, actually,? she declared.
Meanwhile, J-Law premiered her brand new movie ?Serena? with Bradley Cooper over the weekend in New York City. She joked that she ?forced? Cooper to take the gig- ?I mean, any male role is going to make me think of Bradley because in my opinion, he?s the best, and I love working with him.?

Here are photos of Jennifer Lawrence outside the NYC screening of Serena. She wore a Dior couture mini-dress with side cutouts. I like the sparkly, striped top and the shape of the skirt, but the skirt’s fabric is fussy and fug. JLaw switched outfits for the afterparty, where she wore a black Helmut Lang dress that looked like a drawstring nightie. Her makeup looks nice, and her hair is growing out. This is also a rare public appearance. Jennifer skipped Paris fashion week for her Joy duties in Boston. I hope there haven’t been any more David O. Russell screaming matches, but he’s probably watching his mouth for now.
I have no idea why Magnolia Pictures held a Serena screening. The film’s already available on VOD and earned a dismal 24% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The studio trotted JLaw and Bradley Cooper out for this event anyway. This is their third movie together (and Joy will be their fourth), so Us Weekly asked the duo about their chemistry:
“Honestly, it’s just happenstance,” Cooper said of working so often with Lawrence. “We both got cast in Silver Linings, and she was going to this other movie and the role was open and so that worked out.”
The party took place at the Top of the Standard where guests sipped Belvedere cocktails — named Mountain Moonshine and Pemberton’s Punch, in keeping with the plot of the film.
After their chemistry in Silver Linings Playbook proved to be potent — the film earned Cooper an Oscar nomination and Lawrence a win — they decided to keep it up.
“I respect her so much as a professional, as an actor, and I think she’s the best there is,” the newly single actor said. “I just learn from her. You always want to work with people who are better than you.”
“And I feel the same way about him,” Lawrence added. And though they both cop to being each other’s work spouses, the Dior spokesmodel assured Us that there is “no sex!” in their relationship.

I doubt there’s ever been any romantic feelings between these two, but since Bradley just broke up with Suki Waterhouse, those old rumors will probably start up again. Is JLaw still with Chris Martin? Who knows. Bradley really likes being in a relationship because he’s very conscious about dating gossip. Now that we know BCoop doesn’t mind going young, he can’t use his fatherly excuse anymore. And he can’t joke about JLaw’s crotch without people drawing conclusions. So I expect Bradley to find a new girlfriend soon. Because with grins like these, gossip is bound to happen.

Braving the Boston snow, Jennifer Lawrence stepped out to take her cute pooch, Pippi, for a brisk winter walk.
The 24-year-old actress bundled up in a pair of foral-printed pants, a black parka and fur-lined snow boots. Without a stitch of makeup on, she displayed her flawless complexion and sported a pair of hipster glasses.
The ?Hunger Games? star is in the snowy city to film her upcoming drama, ?Joy,? with Robert DeNiro and Bradley Cooper. According to a recent statement from 20th Century Fox, ??Joy? is the emotionally compelling and often comedic journey of a woman who triumphed over personal and financial challenges by inventing the ?Miracle Mop,? which she sold on QVC and went on to become a hugely successful entrepreneur.?

David O. Russell has a reputation for being a real piece of work. His history of mistreating actors and crew is disturbing. One only needs to watch this video (NSFW language) of him cursing out Lily Tomlin to see evidence of his unprofessaional ways. The video shows him throwing objects as a crew member cowered in the corner! That’s not the only incident. A RadioTimes article talks about how Russell and George Clooney clashed during the production of Three Kings. Clooney reportedly told Russell, “You can?t shove, push or humiliate people.” And Russell once put Christopher Nolan in a headlock (over Jude Law’s availability) and tore off his clothes on set. He claimed to be getting his kit off in the name of Tibetan Buddhism and to “break the boundaries” with cast members.
Russell appeared to have mellowed during his last few productions. He’s still territorial with his actors and threw a fit over Jennifer Lawrence’s availability, calling her Hunger Games schedule “12 years of slavery.” JLaw previously worked with him on Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle. They’re currently filming the Miracle Mop biopic in Boston, and David lost it again. He threw Harvey Weinstein off the set and started a screaming match with JLaw:
Famed director David O. Russell went on a tear against Jennifer Lawrence and Harvey Weinstein during the filming of the movie Joy … this according to an eyewitness on the set.
We’re told there was a loud argument Tuesday on the Boston set between David and Jennifer, and it started over a scene. The eyewitness says David started screaming at her … it was was ear-piercing and laced with profanities.
A rep for the movie’s studio — Fox 2000 — tells us yes, there was screaming, but it was all method acting. David was just getting J. Law amped-up for a scene in which she screams at someone.
But it doesn’t end there. We’re also told Miramax honcho Harvey Weinstein showed up on the set Wednesday to say hi to Jennifer, but David ordered him to leave. Harvey got as far as the makeup trailer before getting booted.
The studio rep says Harvey was told Tuesday things were moving at warp speed and his visit would be a distraction, but he showed up anyway … unannounced.
And the eyewitness tells us a major exec for Fox was reamed out by David because she was trying to defend the line producer who David wants to fire. The eyewitness says it got so bad the exec started crying. The studio rep says that’s ridiculous … there was a “heated” argument over the line producer, but she didn’t cry.

The studio rep is covering tush with the denial, and of course Russell tossed out a lame excuse. Method acting must be the new Tibetan Buddism. Russell hasn’t changed at all, and I believe this story because the video with Lily Tomlin was completely frightening. This guy is unhinged, and he’s gotten away with it because he directs artsy fartsy movies that the Academy loves. Someone needs to kick him off set and into anger management therapy.
I’m including several ads for JLaw’s latest Miss Dior campaign. These look a lot less awkward than her first plasticky campaign.

Jennifer Lawrence attended the PGAs Saturday night as a presenter. I’ve missed her so much since she’s skipped most of this awards season. Something interesting happened — Birdman took the top producing prize. The winner of that award has scored best picture at the Oscars for the past seven years. I won’t be disappointed if the streak continues. Birdman was pretty awesome and deserves all of its nominations.
Jennifer switched up her routine and wore a Prada dress. I like it? Even with the weird, embellished belly patch, this is a gorgeous, Grecian-inspired gown. The back view is better than the front. The general consensus is that JLaw deserves recognition whenever she steps away from Dior, but her red carpet taste isn’t fantastic. She picked a good one here. Her shoes are also Prada, and she wore Irene Neuwirth earrings with and a Shay ring.
Jennifer presented Jon Feltheimer with the PGA milestone recipient award. Her speech was a nice mixture of self-deprecating humor and semi-professionalism. Here’s part of the transcript:
“Hello, past, present, and hopefully future employers. I wish I’d have thought to ask one of you for a Xanax, whoo! I normally say no to this kind of thing on the account of my crippling anxiety and the unbreakable bond between woman and couch. But I when I heard it was for Feltheimer, I had to say yes because I just assumed that I was contractually obligated. And then when I found out that I wasn’t, I had already picked out this dress. Jon has been in this business longer than I’ve been alive. I love saying that. Anything like that. And he’s exceeded expecations with anything he’s made throughout his career. He’s known for looking towards the future and adapting studio models to successfully change with the times. He’s not only held his CEO title with Lionsgate for almost 15 years, come this March, but leadership positions at Sony and New World Entertainment. And his assistant also has amazing taste when it comes to star gifts. I was so afraid of signing on to these movies a few years ago because something that size can make or break a career. I put my trust in Lionsgate and they put their trust in me and now I think we have a strong and amazing relationship that I hope lasts until my career dies at 35. … Jon was charged to insure that Suzanne Collins’ Hunger Games incredible trilogy of books was respectfully brought to life in four films and it was a … large f***ing failure!”

Yay, that was a good speech! She was clearly kidding about the Hunger Games‘ failure. It’s nice to see a presenter show proper respect for an award recipient but also manage to interject some humor into a speech. JLaw’s often labelled as goofy, but she gave a nice deadpan delivery here. Nicely done.

Jennifer Lawrence celebrated Christmas in her native Kentucky. She cheered on the Louisville Cardinals basketball team, which unfortunately lost to the Kentucky Wildcats (who had Ashley Judd in the audience). This is a video of her cheering before grabbing a slice of pizza. It always comes down to pizza with JLaw, doesn’t it? The U of Louisville Elle Raiser superfan account has some cute pictures of Jennifer at the game. She sat with her family and did the famous C-A-R-D-S cheer. Chris Martin was nowhere to be seen. Sorry, grandma. On Christmas Eve, she visited a children’s hospital and took pictures with several of the patients.
I hope JLaw enjoys her family holidays, but Hollywood hasn’t forgotten about her. She’s enjoying her first Billboard Hot 100 hit with “The Hanging Tree” from Mockingjay: Part I. Have you heard the techno version of the song? Given the lyrical subject matter, it’s slightly disturbing to hear it on the radio. People are probably dancing to it in clubs, too drunk to notice what the song is about.
Forbes has also crowned Jennifer the top grossing actor of 2014, thanks to the Hunger Games and X-Men franchises. I wouldn’t be surprised if she repeated next year. After that? Who knows. Thanks to Oscar, JLaw is much better positioned for the future than former franchise successes like Kristen Stewart, Daniel Radcliffe, and Sparkles. JLaw earned indie cred before going mainstream while the others had to work backwards. I think she has true lasting power, as long as she paces her career well.

These are phtoos of Jennifer Lawrence in NYC over the past few days. She wore workout gear and a decent grey coat, but she wore this questionable ensemble from last night. A leopard-print coat and bright Pink lipstick? She must have taken inspiration from all those reality shows she watches. This is low-key JLaw you’re seeing. She probably breathed a sigh of relief that “the Serena plan” worked. She won’t have to attend any awards shows this year. She was nominated for a Critics Choice award, but I doubt she’ll attend. She needs a serious break from the spotlight. JLaw is the most Googled celebrity of 2014. I bet many of those searches had to do with the stolen photos, which sucks.
Anyway. Jennifer may have a new boyfriend. We heard she and Chris Martin were still together last month, but I think they cooled off. Too much drama from Goop to be worth the trouble. The New York Daily News published photos of JLaw from last week. She was outside the LA home of documentary filmmaker Gabe Polsky. I side-eyed this story and figured it was a business meeting, but I see they ordered pizza twice. You know how JLaw feels about pizza. It could be on with these two:
Jennifer Lawrence has been in good company since her split with Chris Martin.
The Hunger Games star was spotted at the Los Angeles home of Red Army director and producer Gabe Polsky on Friday afternoon, a source tells the Daily News.
Lawrence, who visited Polsky?s home with her dog in tow, had a brief scare when her pup ran out on the street, the source said. But to the actress? relief, Polsky came to the rescue and retrieved her pet.
The two were spotted hanging out at his residence for about five hours, with Lawrence departing later that night. During their time together, the duo ordered pizza — not once, but twice.
“They ordered a couple of pizzas and about 30 minutes later another delivery man came with more pizza,” the source said.
“They definitely weren?t in there reading scripts,” the insider noted. “They were having a good time.”
The 24-year-old?s casual night in with Polsky, whose documentary Red Army is getting Oscar buzz, comes several weeks after her split with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
The prior couple reportedly dated for four months before splitting at the end of October.

So what’s the story here? E! says they’re just friends and that Gabe has been dating Jennifer’s best friend. Hmm, Jennifer has a handful of best friends. This could be a convenient excuse that’s just vague enough to throw off the media. Because JLaw has a physical type, and Gabe seems to fit that profile. Here’s a photo of Gabe. If you feel the way I do about the possibility of Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth as a couple, then you laughed at the title of this post. I watched Mockingjay: Part I last Friday, and I didn’t like it nearly as much as the other two Hunger Games movies. To me, it was a “placeholder” movie. I also couldn’t believe that JLaw and Liam’s romantic vibing had grown worse since the last movie. I laughed out loud when Gale walked into Katniss’ old kitchen and said, “This is where you kissed me … I’d have to be dead to forget that.” And then came the least romantic consensual kiss in the entire universe.
These two have never had chemistry together, right? I’ve never seen it. Even when they’re joking around during interviews, JLaw has always interacted far more with Josh Hutcherson. I’ll humor this story anyway. I find it amusing because it fits into the narrative of Chris Martin being stuck on Goop. He helped her open her Dallas pop-up store last week, which doesn’t sound like conscious uncoupling to me. He even let himself be photographed there, which is saying something.
The source of this new JLaw info — Heat magazine (via The Independent) — isn’t the most reliable. Supposedly, Jennifer and Liam grew closer during the Mockingjay: Part I tour. They’ve known each other for at least four years, but now is the time, y’all. Why? Because Liam is single, and Jennifer is upset about the ongoing Chris-Goop drama. Uh-huh:
Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth are reportedly ready to see where “fate takes them.”
“They intend on keeping things very low-key so they can both see where fate takes them,” an insider told Heat magazine.
Liam split from his fiance Miley Cyrus last year and recently admitted Jennifer helped get him through that because she is so fun to be around and helped him live in the moment.
“They’ve always had insane chemistry, but they’ve never been single at the same time before. In fact, when they first met on the set of The Hunger Games, Liam’s then-fianc Miley Cyrus flew out, possibly to keep an eye on them, I think, because she was jealous,” the insider said. “Jen and Liam have been friends for years and she’s always confided in him about the drama in her love life. She’s really leaned on him during all the drama with Chris [Martin].”
Even before promotional duties the pair have apparently been spending time together. Jennifer reportedly invited Liam to see her in Los Angeles so they could go over strategy for their media tour, but it led to a more personal conversation.
“Jen started pouring her heart out about Chris and things got personal. Liam knows Jen loves koala bears so, the next day, he had an enormous stuffed toy koala sent to Jen with a note saying, ‘Hold out for the perfect man,’” the source explained.
Although the signs are good, both the stars want to take things slowly. As they’ve both been burnt in the past they are in no hurry to jump straight in to a full-on romance. If they do it’s thought things could go well though, as they both prefer to fly under the radar rather than have their love life splashed around headlines.

Well, okay. I might believe there was something to this story because JLaw and Liam were both (maybe?) single for the first time during a press tour. Who knows. It’s been two weeks since somebody’s rep told People how Martin Lawrence is “still very much together.“ The important thing to remember is that JLaw and Liam have absolutely no chemistry together. Zero. Am I wrong?
FYI: Jennifer confirmed Liam’s claim that she ate gross things before kissing him on set. She told Nylon that she’d often eat “a sandwich with mustard and raw red onion” before they locked lips as Katniss and Gale. JLaw also said Liam is “my best friend.” I think Jennifer has a lot of best friends. I’ve heard of at least five at this point, which is fine. These two are probably not hitting it. JLaw should get with someone far more exciting than faux-Thor.
