Here are more endless premiere photos from the Mockingjay Part II promotional tour. Last night was the big LA premiere for the film, and Jennifer Lawrence managed to not go ass over tea kettle in front of the cameras. So? it was a good night, for her at least. No one on the carpet spoke to the assembled media outlets, something about respect for the victims of the Paris Attacks. Many of the stars wore the Mockingjay pins with small, French tricolor ribbons attached. J-Law wore her pin/ribbons on her coat.
Jennifer wore Dior, like she has at almost every big carpet for this film. I get the feeling that as the tour progresses, we?re moving into the Dior dresses she doesn?t really care for. This one is okay, but it looks like a wedding gown that?s been repurposed as a red carpet gown. For Dior, it also isn?t giving me a luxurious vibe. This feels like a dress any designer could have made. That being said, I love the look when she?s wearing the coat.
Natalie Dormer wore Vivienne Westwood, brilliantly representing an English designer. I really love this gown. Westwood gowns are so flattering.
Jena Malone in Gauri and Nainika. I love this too! See, I think this would have looked amazing on J-Law. To me, this dress outshines Jennifer?s Dior.
And hands down, my favorite gown and the most striking and enchanting look of the night? Elizabeth Banks in Dolce & Gabbana. I love her style. I love that she rocked this look. She?s such a badass.

Fug bridal sacks aside, Jennifer Lawrence is not dreaming of walking down the aisle in a perfect Vera Wang wedding gown. That?s not where she is right now, and maybe she?ll never be there. This is sort of personal to me, mostly because I am that person. I?m missing The Bride Gene. Do I enjoy looking at wedding photos and judging your wedding gown? For sure. Do I love reading about what food was served at your wedding? Absolutely. Do I judge you for not serving a cake? Yes, I do. But I have never, ever had the desire to plan my wedding or wear the white dress or any of it. I?m just lacking that part of womanhood, I guess. And it?s nice to see a high-profile fellow traveler like J-Law.
Jennifer sat down with Diane Sawyer for a nice interview with Good Morning America/ABC News. Diane was utterly charmed by J-Law, because of course. Through the course of the interview, Jennifer referenced her ?five years? with Nicholas Hoult and she sounded very bittersweet about it. Then she discussed how she kind of thinks she?s not into marriage.
Some assorted quotes:
The end of an era, being done with Nicholas Hoult & the Hunger Games: “These movies had been my life for so long and they had to come first in everything. I was also in a relationship with somebody for five years and that was my life. So my life was this person and these movies and we broke up around the same time that I wrapped those movies. Being 24 was this whole year of, ?Who am I without these movies? Who am I without this man?’”
On the idea of marriage: “I don’t know if I ever will get married and I’m OK with that. I don’t feel that I need anything to complete me. I love meeting people, men, women, whatever, I love people coming into your life and bringing something. I don’t really plan on getting married. I might. I definitely want to be a mother. I don’t really imagine getting married anymore.”
Her wage gap essay: ?My question to myself was why am I not asking for it? And I think I know I have always kind of carried a habit of submissiveness with the idea that it makes me more likeable. I felt like I had had to say something because we need to talk about it. On average women are paid 21 percent less than men… We can ask for the same exact thing that men do and we do face the reality that we do get judged more. It’s just something that is intrinsic, and I would love to see change.”
[Via E! News]
I wonder if her anti-marriage talk is just a phase, a reaction to the end of her relationship with Hoult, and then whatever went down with Chris Martin. Maybe it?s just me, but if I had to listen to Chris Martin sing about my ?magic,? I would want to shut down the idea of ?happily ever after? as well. I do wonder about Hoult though. It seemed like? they complemented each other so well. It seemed like a real love match. It seemed sweet AND hot. Maybe after five years with a guy like that, you need to take a few years to reassess and figure out what it is you really want. Anyway? I would watch The Diane & J-Law Show for a long time. Jennifer needs to stay with Diane Sawyer whenever she?s in NYC. They?re very cute together.

Jennifer Lawrence covers the December issue of Vogue, and the cover interview is likely the most fascinating and funny thing you?ll read all month. Even though J-Law is arguably the biggest celebrity/actress in the world right now, she still gives interviews like an ingenue with no media training. Maybe this is all an ?act? and she?s really the smartest, most meta celebrity ever. Or maybe she?s just sarcastic, genuine, real, hilarious and truly in-the-moment. Whatever it is, J-Law is a GREAT read. The bulk of the interview takes place in her home in LA, a home which once belonged to Jessica Simpson (J-Law: ?Thank God for Jessica Simpson,? a reference to the room devoted to hair and makeup). Not just in her home ? she and Jonathan Van Meter lay in her bed for five hours, drinking wine and eating pizza. She takes off her bra in front of him and at one point, she tries to make the perfect dirty martinis that Michael Fassbender taught her how to make. You can (and should) read the full Vogue interview here (you can see the slideshow here). Some highlights:
Kris Jenner came to her birthday party: Jenner presented her with a poop-shaped cake reading ?Happy birthday, you piece of sh-t!: J-Law says: ?My knees buckled. And then I got hammered and talked to her like I think I?m part of the family.?
Her dog, Pippi, and her hacked nude photos: ?I was outside crying, and Pippi jumped up on my lap and started licking up all my tears, and I couldn?t put her down for hours. And I mean, hours. I was like, ?Well, obviously, you?re mine.? ? Looking back, does she have more perspective on the ordeal? ?It was all pain and no gain. But I don?t dwell on it unless someone brings it up. Have you seen me naked??
Her bedroom: ?This is where the maaagic haaaappens. Literally zero magic has happened in here. Cheers to my hymen growing back!?
Working with David O. Russell: ?Because I?m not so sensitive, we can really talk, like, man-to-man. Sometimes he accidentally refers to me as he or him. But he really respects and understands women, and by that I mean he doesn?t treat a woman any differently than he?ll treat a man. He would never tiptoe around a woman.?
Being cast as older in DOR?s films: ?I am obviously too young for all of David?s characters. But none of that comes from David wanting a young girl in his movies. That?s not even in his atmosphere. Everybody already thinks I?m 40.?
On the Kentucky clerk, Kim Davis: J-Law calls her that ?lady who makes me embarrassed to be from Kentucky…. Don?t even say her name in this house? all those people holding their crucifixes, which may as well be pitchforks, thinking they?re fighting the good fight. I grew up in Kentucky. I know how they are.?
Politics: ?I was raised a Republican but I just can?t imagine supporting a party that doesn?t support women?s basic rights. It?s 2015 and gay people can get married and we think that we?ve come so far, so, yay! But have we? I don?t want to stay quiet about that stuff?. My view on the election is pretty cut-and-dried: If Donald Trump is president of the United States, it will be the end of the world. And he?s also the best thing to happen to the Democrats ever.?
Her new blonde look for ?Passengers?: ?Oh, this is movie hair. I guess this is what sluts look like in space.?
Having a face full of Novocain from a trip to the dentist: ?I feel like Brandi from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She got work done and was like, I had an allergic reaction to aspirin! Did you see that Kim Kardashian got lip injections? She took a selfie and wrote, ?pregnancy lips!? Honey, that?s not a thing.?
She?s single: ?No one ever asks me out. I am lonely every Saturday night. Guys are so mean to me. I know where it?s coming from, I know they?re trying to establish dominance, but it hurts my feelings. I?m just a girl who wants you to be nice to me. I am straight as an arrow. I feel like I need to meet a guy, with all due respect, who has been living in Baghdad for five years who has no idea who I am? I can?t wait to be married. I feel like if I find that one person who I want to spend the rest of my life with, who I want to be the father of my children, that I would absolutely not f–k it up. But I?m also not banking on that.?
[From Vogue]
There?s like a ton of amazing soundbytes that I didn?t even get to. She?s utterly quotable, the master of the soundbyte, and given her position, amazingly filter-less. This interview is to promote Joy, her third David O. Russell film, and there?s a lot of DOR stuff in the piece. A lot of people think she?s going to get her four Oscar nomination for Joy this year. It wouldn?t surprise me at all.

She?s no stranger to getting tripped up while wearing designer gowns, and last night (November 10) Jennifer Lawrence found the floor again while attending ?The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2? premiere in Madrid.
The ?Silver Linings Playbook? babe was apparently trying to adjust the hem of her dress when she lost her balance and took a tumble while fans and paparazzi looked on.
J Law?s latest snafu brings to mind her 2013 Best Actress slip at the Academy Awards followed by her 2014 cone-tripping incident at the Oscars.

Lord, I am really, really in love with Jennifer Lawrence?s hair these days. Did I tell you I recently got four inches of hair thwacked off? For years, I?ve worn my hair long, half-way down my back. I got sick of it a few weeks ago and in a fit of pique, I asked the hairdresser to take off four inches. My hair is now a shaggy lob resting on my shoulders and I LOVE IT. It?s bouncy, it?s lighter, and I have some natural curl/waves coming in. I feel like Jennifer Lawrence is experiencing the same thing ? after years of overprocessing, extensions, weaves, etc, J-Law decided to go for this beachy honey blonde and a great ?bob? cut and she?s loving it.
Anyway, these are photos from the Madrid premiere for Mockingjay Part II. J-Law decided to forgo the endless Dior looks after her somewhat disastrous Grim, Farty Bride look in Paris on Monday. For the Madrid premiere, Jennifer wore this lacy, tiered Ralph Lauren. Coming off of too many Dior looks, the Ralph Lauren is really refreshing. It?s nice to see her in something more body-conscious because she really does have a terrific figure, and Ralph Lauren?s people know how to tailor a dress (Dior?s people do not).
Oh, and of course J-Law fell in this gown. She goes ass over tea kettle more than anyone I have ever known.
At the earlier photocall in Madrid, Jennifer wore this Mugler tuxedo dress thing in orange. CB covered those photos yesterday. Why did J-Law suddenly reject the Dior frocks? Maybe the Sack Bride look really was too much for her. Now, all that being said? she seems kind of uncomfortable in this.

I remember little Jennifer Lawrence back when she was doing her first big promotional tour for the first Hunger Games movie. It was obvious that the studio had gotten her a stylist, and her fashion during that tour was very hit-or-miss. Mostly, it felt like J-Law?s personal style was missing and she was being told what to wear. Jump ahead to the past few years, where J-Law is now the biggest A-list movie star under the age of 30, she has a lucrative Dior contract and an Oscar and everything else. And it still feels like her personal style is missing from the promotional tour.
My guess is that J-Law is 100% contractually obligated to wear Dior to any and all red carpets. That being said, she probably gets the first pick of all of the current Dior designs. So there?s no excuse for this. She wore this awful tent dress to the Paris premiere of Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2. This is easily the worst Dior she?s worn the entire tour, and in PARIS. The fashion capital of the world! La tragdie! J-Law has one of the best figures in Hollywood too, so why in the world would you put her in a shapeless bridal sack? PS? are those GD feathers on the cuff?
Her Paris photocall look (also Dior) was much better. If this had been a full-length gown, it would have been great for the premiere. And if the sack-y premiere dress had been a mini-dress, it would have been decent for the photocall. Just goes to show you? Raf Simons had no idea what the f?k he was doing. I will say this though ? J-Law?s makeup and hair game has improved a lot over the past few years. I love this shade of blonde she?s got now and her makeup looks fresh and pretty.

Kicking off the day with some press duties, Jennifer Lawrence showed up at a photocall in Madrid, Spain for her new film ?The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2.?
Joined by Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson, the ?American Hustle? hottie was all smiles as she showed some love to her Spanish fans.
Meanwhile, Jennifer posted a video to her Facebook page to prove that she washes her hands after using the restroom. Lawrence wrote, ?I hate talking to the Internet but I can't get asked another question about my hygiene on this press tour. I told MTV I didn't wash my hands after going to the bathroom because I was trying to gross out Josh and Liam and I ended up grossing out the world. Of course I wash my hands after going to the bathroom! (I can't believe I've put myself in a situation where I even have to say that.) Anyway with all the rumors I've ever heard about myself this is the one I really had to put to rest. ?Jen?

These are photos from a Hunger Games photocall in Madrid today. Lawrence is wearing a burnt orange short sleeveless dress with metallic darting at the collar. I don’t have a designer ID on this dress yet but I really love this look, it’s clean and striking. Lawrence should do menswear more often.
Last month, during a joint interview with Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, Lawrence revealed a bunch of cringe-worthy facts about her personal hygiene. The three were asked for their most disgusting habit and Lawrence volunteered “I don’t wash my hands after I go to the bathroom.” Hemsworth seemed to confirm this with the detail “she likes to come back and literally put her hands all over your face.”
“Does this smell like your mom?” Lawrence quipped.
In that same interview, there was a write-in question from Lawrence’s buddy Amy Schumer asking if she ever peed in a bidet. Lawrence explained “this is an ongoing conversation with me and Amy” and added “I’ll take it one step further, I’ve peed in some sinks.” She explained “When two girls go into a bathroom, someone’s gotta take sink and I actually like taking sink.” I often go to the bathroom with friends and I’ve never heard this before. How impatient do you have to be to pee in a sink? Maybe if you’re wasted and the line is very long, but I’ve never done this.
So Lawrence has volunteered a bunch of information about her lax personal hygiene, only she’s sick of talking about it at this point. She posted the following video to her Facebook page along with some text that seems to contradict it:
I hate talking to the Internet but I can?t get asked another question about my hygiene on this press tour. I told MTV I didn?t wash my hands after going to the bathroom because I was trying to gross out Josh and Liam and I ended up grossing out the world. In case you can’t watch the video, we see Lawrence in a bathrobe flushing a bidet. She walks away, saying “what a weird toilet” and then is told by someone off camera “that’s not a toilet it’s a bidet.”
“That’s not a toilet? Oh, then I don’t have to wash my hands.” She had half-washed her hands at that point but stopped.
Yeah, I don’t think she regularly washes her hands. Maybe she was trying to gross out Josh and Liam in that interview, but Liam was a little too quick to add that she likes to stick her hands in his face after she goes to the bathroom. At least she’s making fun of herself, but still it’s gross. No wonder everyone keeps asking her about it.

| Jennifer Lawrence in Dior for 'Mockingjay 2' in London: awkward or amazing' | Added 9 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

At last night’s London premiere of Mockingjay – Part 2, Jennifer Lawrence was at the mercy of the Dior people again. She has pushed for a more grown-up look with new stylists, but she didn’t make a big movie-star entrance like she did in Berlin. This Dior dress was rather somber, and the print reminded me of Sarah Paulson’s awful bedbug dress from a few years ago. There are also weird gaping sections (with bizarre gold-ropey connections) on the sides which reveal too much, and the effect is unflattering. However, JLaw’s hair and makeup look polished and beautiful. From the neck up, this look is a winner.
Elizabeth Banks is usually amazing on the red carpet, but this time, perhaps she made a misstep. What do you think? She wore a pant-sy Razan Alazzouni look covered with a sparkly, embroidered dress coat. This ensemble doesn’t bowl me over, but I appreciate the risk taking aspect. If her hair was more polished, that would have balanced out the poufy-coat effect.
Natalie Dormer fared better than she did in Berlin. I wasn’t sure at first what I thought of this black-and-white Ong Oaj Pairam gown, but it’s not that bad. It reminds me of a giant, swirly, asymmetrical zipper. It’s different without being too “modern art,” although she got a little lost in all that fabric.
Julianne Moore wore an Alexander McQueen monstrosity. Too many tiers, too many fringey ruffles, and her messy hair only added to the “too much” vibe. She needs new stylists, but this is nothing new. Fringaholic!
Just like last time, I put the dudes in the gallery. There’s a good chance that either Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Liam Hemsworth, and Josh Hutcherson will ring your bell. I’m also pleased to see Woody Harrelson at this premiere. He’s such a goofball, but he made the most amazing Haymitch the films could have hoped for.
