Extra released a new-ish interview with Angelina Jolie yesterday – the interview actually took place last week, when Angelina was in Sarajevo for the Bosnian premiere of In the Land of Blood and Honey. What could have been a decent two-minute edited video interview is drawn out to seven minutes of real-time, unedited boringness, though. Look, I love Angelina. But she?s not half as interesting this dude thinks she is. Angelina discusses the film, whether she?ll direct again, whether she?ll ever direct Brad Pitt in a project, and around the five-minute mark, she talks about the possibility she?ll marry Brad:

Extra is claiming in their text of the interview that ?Angelina Jolie hints to Jerry Penacoli she may finally be ready to marry Brad Pitt.? Because she replied to the question, ?Maybe.? She sounded unconvinced and unconvincing. But look how she lights up when she talks about the kids – ?They figured out what marriage is now, they’re old enough so now they kind of like the idea of it. But we’re still convinced that half of them just want to party.”
In other Angelina news, she?s just been confirmed for Newsweek/The Daily Beast?s annual Women In the World Summit, which will be held in NYC next month. Angelina will be joining congresswomen, international politicians, Nobel laureates, journalists, humanitarians, businesswomen and Meryl Streep. Yay!

Here are some more photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie at the Sarajevo premiere/screening of In the Land of Blood and Honey – Angelina?s black Versace still seems dated to me, but whatever. Brad and Angie were all over the place in Europe last week – Berlin, Paris, Sarajevo and even Croatia. Angelina went to Croatia without Brad, and with the cast of ITLOBAH. Unfortunately, we don?t have photos – you can see some here. Angelina wore a long-sleeved orangey-coral-colored gown for that event. I?m not crazy about her in that color, but the style of the dress is flattering enough. I appreciate Angelina?s commitment to sleeves. Too many celebrity women fall into the ?strapless gown? trap and never get out.
Anyway, while Brad and Angie were in Sarajevo last week, they hosted a party for the film, and Us Weekly has all the details on the lavish spread:
It was a feast fit for the King and Queen of Hollywood! To celebrate the Sarajevo premiere of her Bosnian war drama In the Land of Blood and Honey, Angelina Jolie pulled out all the stops for a lavish, unforgettable dinner on Tuesday.
With love Brad Pitt at her side, the actress-turned-director, 36, hosted about 30 people who worked on the film at Zetra Sports Hall, where the local film premiere took place; about 200 guests noshed on finger food during an earlier reception.
The dinner menu, prepared by the staff at the Bristol Hotel (where the superstar couple stayed), was sumptuous indeed: bruschetta with chicken liver pate; red trout fillet with black and red rice and fennel; veal filet with three kind of herbs; kadun butic (a traditional Bosnian dish featuring three types of minced meat on a cinnamon stick), and a dessert trio of hazelnut cremino, raspberry cheese cake and tartufo nero.
Jolie and Pitt, 48, paid their compliments to the staff; “they thanked them for wonderful hospitality and tasty food,” a staffer tells Us. “Jolie tasted a little bit of everything”.
In the Land of Blood and Honey actor Fedja Stukan (who dined at Pitt and Jolie’s table) gushed about the meal via the hotel Bristol’s Facebook page: “I must admit that I never had better tasting food! Angelina and Brad agreed with me.”
[From Us Weekly]
Do you believe that Angelina ?tasted a little bit of everything?? The stans will say that she was working, she was networking, and that?s why she didn?t eat that much but she probably did eat and we?re all just haters. The anti-Jolie people will say that of course she ?tasted a little bit? and then she stopped eating because she?s so thin and TERRIBLE and EVIL. As for me… I really don?t think she looks as deathly ill as many of you seem to think. She?s slender. Her legs are especially tiny, but she?s always had really slim legs. From the hips up, I actually think Angelina is looking healthier than she has in a few years. When she puts on weight, it goes to her upper arms and her abdomen (which is incidentally why people think she looks pregnant). So, my verdict: she?s eating solid food. She could totally eat more, and I wish she would, but I don?t buy that she?s starving herself. I think she just eats like a bird.

I thought I could always count on Angelina Jolie to be the kind of woman who would never wear a gigantic rose on or around her boob. I was wrong. These are photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina at the Paris premiere of In the Land of Blood and Honey. Can I just say? I?m pleasantly surprised that this film is getting a gigantic roll-out in Europe. I wasn?t expecting to see all of these Brangelina-red-carpet photos, and they always brighten my day a little. Anyway, Angelina is wearing Ralph & Russo. Ralph & Russo also did that grey-blue cashmere gown that she wore in Berlin a few nights ago – that one that made her boobs look good. I really liked that one. Not so much with this one. Is it just me or is that one sleeve a really weird length?
It?s not that I hate Angelina in white. Remember that white/cream Versace she wore to the premiere of The Tourist? I loved that. I wish she would wear that silhouette more often – long-sleeved, deep V-neck with a wrap effect. It?s super-flattering. Part of the reason I dislike this gown is that grey-black ombre effect around the one shoulder. I just? it doesn?t look good, I don?t think. I?m just not loving this.
As for Brad… I’ve grown to hate those tinted glasses. Passionately.
Also – Angelina has a new interview in The Guardian where she’s discussing the threats that have made against her and the cast because of In the Land of Blood and Honey – go here to read it.

| Enquirer: Angelina Jolie made Brad Pitt cry over meeting with Billy Bob in Berlin | Added 12 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |
|
|
|
|
|
When Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton both booked their respective directing efforts at this year’s Berlin Film Festival, the tabloids must have thanked their lucky stars that they’d finally be able to branch out past the Bermuda triangle love stories that have persisted for so many years. Now this week’s issue of The Enquirer has a story about how “cruel” Angelina Jolie made poor Brad Pitt cry in the middle of a restaurant when she “laughed in his face” after announcing that she planned to hang out with Billy Bob after their films premiered at the festival. Whatever. Like we’re supposed to believe that Angelina would give up life with Brad and their six children after staring into Billy Bob’s amazing Botox face and realizing what she gave up all those years ago. So ridiculous.
Of course, Billy Bob and Angelina often flaunted their steamy romance during their short marriage. But that’s all in the past, and it seems like theirs was mostly a relationship based upon sex. Jolie herself famously stated that she and Billy Bob really had “nothing in common,” so Brad has nothing to worry about where the living Madame Taussads waxwork is concerned. Still, The Enquirer’s account is slightly amusing to read as a work of fiction:
Brad Pitt stormed out of a Berlin restaurant in tears after a bitter fight with Angelina Jolie over her plans to reunite with ex-husband Billy Bob Thornton.
The handsome Moneyball actor had flown to Germany to be by Angelina’s side at the Feb. 11 premiere of her critically acclaimed directorial debut, In the Land of Blood and Honey, at the Berlin International Film Festival. But Brad blew up when he learned that Angelina was planning to meet up with Billy Bob, whose film Jayne Mansfield’s Car was also debuting at the event.
According to sources, Angelina had contacted Billy Bob — her second husband — under the pretext of congratulating him on the film, but then asked if they could get together. He agreed to meet, and the two “began talking on the phone and e-mailing behind Brad’s back,” revealed the insider. After the premiere of her movie, Angelina and Brad dined at Berlin’s Zosimo restaurant, where she admitted how excited she was about seeing Billy Bob again, revealed a friend.
“Brad flipped out,” the friend continued. “First he said, ‘No, you can’t!’ But then Angie laughed in his face and said, ‘Oh, yes I can…and I am.’ Brad is shattered and feels totally betrayed. He had flown to Berlin specifically to be by Angie’s side to support her and her film. He was so upset and caught off guard that she could be so cruel that he ran off in tears.”
The actor quickly packed his bags and hightailed it to London, said the friend, where he attended the BAFTA Awards alone.
Angelina, 36, has long had a double standard when it comes to maintaining relationships with exes. While she flaunts her friendly relations with former flames like Billy Bob and first husband Jonny lee Miller, the actress “freaks out” if Brad so much mentions any of his past romantic partners — particularly his ex-wife Jennifer Aniston.
“It’s completely unfair,” said the source. “Brad has always put up with it because he loves her, but he’s not willing to do it anymore.”
Billy Bob, 56, whose three-year marriage to Angelina crumbled in 2003, twisted the knife even further when he raved about Angelina during a press conference in Berlin. “Angelina’s a wonderful woman and one of my best friends in the world,” he told reporters. “I’ll love her until the end of my life, and she’ll love me.”
Meanwhile, Angelina has admitted in the past that she still harbors feelings for Billy Bob. “I still love him dearly and think the world of him,” she said in 2008. “I’m proud to have been his wife for a time.”
According to the friend, Brad, 48, has always been threatened by Angelina’s undeniable chemistry with Billy Bob. And although he was back in Berlin for another red carpet appearance with Angelina on Feb. 13, “Brad warned her that there will be consequences if she really goes through with seeing Billy Bob. He’s not going to put up with her ignoring his feelings anymore.”
[From Enquirer, print edition, February 27, 2012]
See how they still managed to work in Aniston’s name into this story? How crafty. Naturally, The Enquirer strategically left out that Billy Bob was saying that he and Jolie would always love each other “as friends.” So we’re supposed to believe that Brad ran out of the Berlin restaurant with tears streaming down his face even though no one got a photo of it, and you know that if Brad and Angelina fought in public that at least some random bystander would’ve taken a cell phone snap of the event. But no.
Also, here’s more about the speculation that Billy Bob has written a movie that’s inspired by his relationship with Angelina. Billy Bob told Vulture, “No! Not in the least!” when asked if this movie, which will be titled And Then We Drove, has anything to do with Angelina at all. Billy Bob seems awfully surprised that anyone even knows about this film at all, but someone must have said something if Vulture already knew the title, right? Well, the Variety reporter who wrote the original article tells HuffPo that “I stand by my article and reporting 100%” and that neither Billy Bob nor his people are demanding a retraction.
Back to the main story though — it’s rather obvious that Brad has anything to fear when it comes to Angelina and Billy Bob. Still, it’s fun for us to look back at these vintage photos, isn’t it?

| Angelina Jolie premieres 'ITLOBAH' in Sarajevo, discusses situation in Syria | Added 12 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Here are some photos from last night?s Sarajevo premiere of In the Land of Blood and Honey. Angelina Jolie must have exhausted her printed and neutral dress supply, because she?s back in black. And I don?t hate it. I find this dress to be very elegant and only slightly dated. Should I judge Angelina for wearing a dress that Nancy Reagan probably wore to a State Dinner during the Reagan administration? Or should I just accept that this is who Angelina is – she is the woman who likes shoulder pads, big jewelry and 1980s glamour. Brad looks especially nice here – he?s not wearing those friggin? tinted glasses, and that beautiful coat is getting a lot of action in Europe, isn?t it? He?s worn it in London, Berlin and now Sarajevo.
According to this report at the Washington Post (read the full piece here), Angelina greeted the 5,000-strong crowd with a few words in Bosnian, then she gave a little speech in English. After the film, she got a standing ovation, which made her cry, and she said, ?To share this with you means the world to me.?
At a press conference earlier in the day (in Sarajevo), Angelina talked about the need for a ?wake up call? for the international community to pay attention to war crimes and atrocities in real time. She made some pointed comments about the situation in Syria too – ?I am satisfied with what we made, I feel very strongly about it and I believe that its core issue ? which is the need for intervention and need for the world to care about atrocities when they are happening ? is very, very timely and especially with things that are happening in Syria today.? Wait? so she?s saying that we need to get involved in Syria? I mean? I understand the humanitarian argument, sure. But there?s so much more at play in Syria than encouraging America to get on a white horse and ?save the day.? Will the proponents of force say that we?ll be greeted as liberators? Again? Angelina has the heart of a neo-conservative, I swear.
She also addressed concerns by the Serb community that they are being portrayed as ?the bad guys? in the film: ?I think it is very important that this film is out at this time and … if this film points the finger at anybody it is the international community. I understand that it?s sensitive. But I also know that the Serbian people are intelligent and open-minded people. They will know the difference between what?s been forced upon them and what they feel in their own hearts? although it?s difficult, I hope that they see intention behind it.? In a rare move, Angelina is also arranging ?private screenings? for Serbs who are interested in seeing the film – she will even send the film to someone?s home, if they are interested.
Oh, and we need to talk about this hilarious photo of Angelina and the cast of ITLOBAH. Why does Goran Kostic look like that? He?s all ?FML.? Dude!

Here are some new photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie arriving in Sarajevo today. They were in Berlin last night for the Cinema for Peace event, where Angelina won an award for In the Land of Blood and Honey – I?m including more photos from that event at the end of the post. I believe they?re in Sarajevo for the Bosnian premiere of ITLOBAH, which is reportedly tonight. Here?s an interesting Bosnian news report about what?s happening with all of the premieres and stuff:
Angelina Jolie, flanked by her husband Brad Pitt and their six children, has arrived in Sarajevo today for the Balkan debut of ‘Land of Blood and Honey”, her first work as director. She also wrote the screenplay.
The film’s debut will be this evening at the Zetra Olympic sports complex, and will be in film theatres from Thursday.
Already distributed in the US and presented last week at the Berlin Film Festival in the Special section, the film is a love story between a Muslim girl and a Serbian soldier. However – said the US star – ”it is not a story of black and white”.
Jolie’s work met with praise two months ago in Sarajevo at a closed door showing for war victims, which was followed by protests from Serbs, claiming to have been shown in a negative light in the film. For this reason the film will not be shown in the Republika Srpska (RS, the Serb-majority entity of Bosnia).
The distributor has announced that the film’s debut in Croatia will take place on February 17 in Zagreb, but that a date had not yet been set for the presentation of the film in Belgrade.
The Jolie-Pitt family and their numerous entourage took up thirty rooms in Hotel Europa, the most prestigious and charming hotel in central Sarajevo. On her arrival the Hollywood star did not make any statements to journalists. She is expected to visit the Olympic museum commemorating the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Games in the afternoon.
[Via Ansamed]
So the film won?t be in any theaters in the Serb-majority areas? That?s interesting. I bet that bugs Angelina, because she really didn?t set out to make a film that took sides or tried to make the Serbs into extremists. Also – 30 rooms at the hotel?!?!? Damn.
Also, there?s this little story that I just enjoyed so much – you know how Jenny Packham is the new big designer to all of the important ladies in the world? Duchess Kate wears Jenny Packham. Angelina Jolie wears Jenny Packham. Well, Packham had her runway show yesterday, and people noticed a difference in tone with this new season. Packham explained the difference – ?It?s because we?re dressing Angelina now.? Interesting that she name-checked Jolie and not Duchess Kate, right?
By the way, I love that Brad and Angelina hold hands when they?re just coming off a plane and walking on the tarmac. They?re so tactile. It?s cute.

| Angelina Jolie in a grey-blue cashmere gown in Berlin: beautiful & appropriate? | Added 12 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Sigh? she?s not going to wear a jewel tone, is she? Here are some photos of Angelina Jolie last night in Berlin at the Cinema for Peace Gala. Her cashmere dress/gown is Ralph & Russo? and I do like it. I would like it more if it was rich, deep sapphire, but this grey-blue isn?t bad. The fit is lovely though – Angelina always looks worlds better when she?s wearing something tailored for her figure. I especially love her makeup and her earrings here – she looks fresh and elegant.
Jolie won an award at the gala – they recognize films that are ?directed against human rights abuses, war and genocide.? Which sums up In the Land of Blood and Honey. You can see more pics here, at The Mail. Brad looked super-proud of her. Which brings up an interesting question – will Angelina write and direct again? She was asked that in Berlin, and her response was? interesting.
Angelina Jolie says she?s not yet sure whether she will follow her directorial debut on the Bosnian war with another film on such serious material ? but she has already written a script focusing on the conflict in Afghanistan.
Jolie, who presented her movie ?In the Land of Blood and Honey? at the Berlin International Film Festival, told reporters Monday that even her husband Brad Pitt is unfamiliar with her Afghanistan idea.
She says: ?I did write something on Afghanistan. Nobody?s seen it yet. Brad hasn?t seen it. It?s hidden. So I don?t know how very good it is, but it?s been a pleasure to write.?
Meantime, she says her next project is playing the villain in a Disney film ? something she says her kids are much happier about.
[From Access Hollywood]
A movie about Afghanistan? Hopefully she won?t step on Kathryn Bigelow?s toes – Bigelow has a movie in the pipeline about Osama bin Laden, Pakistan and Afghanistan. I bet Jolie?s story is about the refugee situation there – the refugee camps on the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan are still one of the largest refugee crises in the world. While I applaud Jolie?s efforts and her commitments? I want her to do something light. A Disney movie sounds great. She?s going to be playing Maleficent in the (Tim Burton-directed?) retelling of Sleeping Beauty.
Here are some photos of Angelina at the Berlin Film Festival premiere of The Lady several days ago – I completely missed this set of photos, and for that I apologize. But I don?t feel too bad – these pics of Angelina kind of suck. She?s wearing a Miguelina (sack) dress that does nothing for her figure. Meh. The Lady is about Aung San Suu Kyi, by the way.

Having premiered her directorial work "In The Land of Blood and Honey" the previous night, Jolie revealed to press that Maleficent will be her next project.
Ang divulged in an interview with THR, ?I haven?t acted in two years, and I haven?t done anything else since this [meaning Honey]. The next thing I am looking at is a Disney movie.?

Here are photos of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt at the Berlin Film Festival premiere of In The Land of Blood and Honey. Angelina wore this Jenny Packham gown which? I have mixed feelings about. It seems somehow under-dressed for this Berlin red carpet, probably because the dress actually looks so comfortable. It reminds me of what I always think of Angelina?s default style – she?s very influenced by 1970s stuff, probably because of her mom’s style and how she (Angelina) grew up. This seems like the kind of dress Lauren Hutton or Bianca Jagger would have worn to Studio 54 in the ?70s.
Now, that being said, it?s not a BAD dress. I kind of like the sparkly faux-animal print pattern. The color is beige-y, which I?m sure Angelina loves (bitch loves neutrals). Let her get this crap out of her system, so she can really rock something awesome at the Oscars. Bitch better work a jewel tone, and her hair better be pulled off her face, and I want her dripping in jewelry too. Sigh? I wish she would let me style her, I really do. I could make her look awesome.
Angelina and Brad are probably en route to London as we speak. They?re due at the BAFTAs tonight – I just saw photos of George Clooney in London last night, and Michael Fassbender is due at the event too. We should be getting some good photos! I?m excited. The BAFTAs are always good for winter-style eveningwear, because it?s always so cold in London for the event. Lots of long-sleeved evening gowns and long evening coats and capes, a lost art for many fashion designers.
