Did you know Angelina Jolie and the kids are in Berlin now? True story. They flew in (via private jet) a few days ago. Angelina is preparing to push In the Land of Blood and Honey at the Berlin Film Festival. The red carpet is tomorrow – I?m sure we?ll have photos on Sunday. For now, though, just enjoy this story about Brangelina?s activities in Berlin – Legoland! Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe! Wait, what? I had to ask CB if that was seriously the name of the memorial – she confirmed it. I mean, it is what it is, and that?s what happened – Jews were murdered. But maybe a gentler sounding name? Like, even “Holocaust Memorial” would sound better.
It took more than 1-degree weather to keep Angelina Jolie and three of her and Brad Pitt’s kids from enjoying Berlin’s Legoland Discovery Centre on Thursday afternoon.
Mom and Maddox, Pax and Shiloh piled into a Mercedes van and headed to the indoor fun facility, where the kids played for about 90 minutes, before selecting some Lego toys from the gift shop. Pax had the hardest time deciding which package to choose, reports the German tabloid, B.Z..
Jolie seems to be a fan of Legoland, having visited the version in England with one of her kids last September. She also has donated generously to Merlin’s Magic Wand, a worldwide charity created by the operator of Legoland to provide fun experiences for children who are seriously ill, disabled or disadvantaged.
After their visit Thursday, the Jolie-Pitts headed back to their hotel across from the landmark Brandenburg Gate to play, as Jolie prepares to show her film, In the Land of Blood and Honey, at the Berlin International Film Festival on Saturday.
On Wednesday, reports the Bild newspaper, Jolie paid a quiet visit by herself to Berlin’s Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe.

I didn?t know that Angelina was a supporter of Merlin?s Magic Wand. That?s pretty cool – you can read all about the charity here, at their website. It?s cool that Angelina is so supportive of Lego land – she took the kids to the UK version too.
Oh, I just got that no one has seen Brad in Berlin. It’s just Angelina? Did Brad not join her for this trip? Is he too busy kissing Academy ass? I hope Tilda Swinton flies into Berlin so she and Angelina can get bombed together again.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt hit up the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in LA on Sunday. Angelina was wearing a black dress which looked more like a piece of cloth hanging off a coat rack than anything. Hey, why don’t you just take that off and make yourself more comfortable.

Just shoot me in the face now, because Angelina Jolie wore a shiny black (trash bag) sack dress to the Screen Actors Guild Awards, and I LOVED IT. The dress is Jenny Packham, and yes, this is a look we?ve seen on Angelina many times before. Initially, when I saw the dress, I thought it was leather, and it reminded me of the iconic black leather Versace gown she wore to the premiere of Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2005. Of course, Angelina has worn variations on the black sack gown many times before, but that doesn?t mean I can?t still love the look on her, right?
This shiny gown is Jenny Packham, and it?s not leather. It?s some kind of treated fabric made to look like ?liquid metal?. It?s an interesting treatment for a dress, and it suits Jolie. Plus, I like her styling here. Big hair (my favorite on her), big vintage jewelry – she wore ?a bracelet and earrings by House of Lavande, a Platt Boutique bracelet, Gucci shoes and a Louis Vuitton bag.? Some of said that this is more of a premiere look for Jolie, and I don?t disagree. This is exactly the kind of thing she often wears to her own premieres. But for an awards show, does that mean this look is too ?dressed down?? I don?t think so.
CB told me that she thought Angelina?s forehead looked Botoxy when Angelina was talking to Guiliana Rancic, but I had my Brangeloonie goggles on, so I missed that. I did think Brad looked a little bit? puffy/shiny? I suspect him of Botox more than her, but I?m speaking from my Jolie-specific girl-boner. Still, I was sad to see Brad lose the SAG award, but I think it might be a good sign that Jean Dujardin won and not George Clooney. It means Clooney doesn?t have this bitch sewn up, and the Best Actor race is still a contest. Which means Brad will have to campaign even harder. Brad and Angelina should just f–king elope. Stop talking about marriage, and just do it. All for the sake of the Oscar campaign.

Seal Team 6 brought The Hollywood Reporter to the 14th floor of the W Hotel to interview Brad Pitt. They talked about religion, pot and marriage among other things.
Brad says in the mid-to-late 90?s, he was suffering from depression and ended up smoking a lot of pot. His outlook changed when he saw a bunch of poor kids running aroun. Knowing you have it way better than someone can always lift your spirits.
While Pitt?s star ascended with 1992?s A River Runs Through It, 1994?s Legends of the Fall and 1995?s Seven, his personal life declined.?I got really sick of myself at the end of the 1990s: I was hiding out from the celebrity thing; I was smoking way too much dope; I was sitting on the couch and just turning into a doughnut; and I really got irritated with myself,? he says. ?I got to: ?What?s the point? I know better than this.? ? Pitt wrestled with dark thoughts: ?I used to deal with depression, but I don?t now, not this decade ? maybe last decade. But that?s also figuring out who you are. I see it as a great education, as one of the seasons or a semester: ?This semester I was majoring in depression.? I was doing the same thing every night and numbing myself to sleep ? the same routine: Couldn?t wait to get home and hide out. But that feeling of unease was growing and one night I just said, ?This is a waste.?
A trip to Casablanca, Morocco, in the mid-to-late 1990s, ?where I saw poverty to an extreme I had never witnessed before, and we talked about inequality and health care, and I saw just what I felt was so unnecessary, that people should have to survive in these circumstances ? and the children were inflicted with a lot of deformities, and things that could have been avoided had become their sentence. It stuck with me.? Almost overnight, he decided something had to give. ?I just quit. I stopped grass then ? I mean, pretty much ? and decided to get off the couch.? The Hollywood Reporter
In the past, Brad and Angelina Jolie vowed to never marry until gay marriage was legalized. But now those damn kids are asking about it all the time and testing their resolve.
He oscillates, too, on the subject of whether he?ll get married, and it?s clear Pitt has shifted from his promise that this won?t happen until gay marriage is legalized. ?We?d actually like to,? he says of his seven-year partner, Jolie, ?and it seems to mean more and more to our kids. We made this declaration some time ago that we weren?t going to do it till everyone can. But I don?t think we?ll be able to hold out. It means so much to my kids, and they ask a lot. And it means something to me, too, to make that kind of commitment.? Has he asked Jolie to marry him? ?I?m not going to go any further,? says Pitt. ?But to be in love with someone and be raising a family with someone and want to make that commitment and not be able to is ludicrous, just ludicrous.?
I figured they didn’t want to get married in the first place so they made up this vow to never do it until gay marriage was legalized because it would never happen. Now those stupid kids are asking why mommy and daddy don’t have a piece of metal on their fingers. Well that’s simple, mommy and daddy don’t love each other. You hear that, Maddox, Pax, Vivienne, Knox, Sleepy, Grumpy and Doc ?! Yea, that’s it. Go to your room and cry.

You know it’s a crazy day around here when I’m writing about Brangelina, right? Poor Kaiser is still sick, so you’re stuck with me, and while I don’t anticipate any Bermuda Triangle angles on this story, well, you never know.
At any rate, yesterday’s links pointed everyone towards Angelina’s bizarre farmer’s market outfit as she hangs with the kids following many required adult-oriented outings to various awards shows. Many of you commented on the unflattering manner in which Angelina was dressed; and while I too would love to see Angelina rock a pair of jeans, she’s probably just grateful to dress comfortably in her own way again. Since Brad is now up for an Oscar for his role in Moneyball, I expect she’ll be meeting with designers soon to get all dolled up again, so we have that to look forward to in the near future.
As for Brad, he’s still on publicity duty for the time being, and he’s talked to People about what his family does to spend time together while hanging out at home (wherever that might be at any given moment). Mainly, Brad loves watching “iCarly” with his kids. I wonder if tosses down the cane and engages in the show’s special random dancing along with his kids? I bet he does:
Hollywood’s awards season is a time of relative calm for the Jolie-Pitt family. Oscar-nominee Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie can celebrate their films — and the reaction to them — and also kick back with the kids.
On the latter score, Pitt says, the children have certain favorite activities — both at home and on outings.
“A lot of it, for us, is family,” the actor, 48, told PEOPLE Sunday at the Producers Guild Awards in Beverly Hills. “Just breaking away and getting to take the kids to Benihana’s or something.”
And what about when they’re lounging around the house? “iCarly,” says Pitt. “iCarly is big in our house. It is. I know every episode.”
Pitt also offered an update on his injured knee, saying he’s “got the brace for another month” but should be in the clear after that.
Otherwise, he says, awards season is a nice time to reflect on their work — he received raves for acting in Moneyball and Jolie was honored with the Stanley Kramer Award for her work on In the Land of Blood and Honey, which she directed.
“I’m so happy that the films are appreciated. That’s what this has been about for me,” said Pitt. “We get to catch up with people we haven’t seen in a while, old friends. And that’s a nice thing. I consider it part of the job.”

You know, it sounds like Brad and Angelina only really spend quality time with other adults during award season, so I’m sure they look forward to that more than they’d like to admit. Otherwise, they’re essentially family people who bury themselves within the depth that is children’s television programming. CB reminded me that Angelina got the kids ready for twin siblings by watching “Dora the Explorer,” and more specifically, the episode where Dora’s mom gives birth to twins. Well, Dora’s not insufferable, but I’m more of a “Go, Diego, Go!” kind of girl myself. After all, Baby Jaguar is the sh-t. “Rowrr, rowrr!”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were in attendance at last night?s Producers Guild Awards, held in Beverly Hills. Jolie wore this black wool crepe and lace Michael Kors pre-Fall 2012 collection gown which? I have mixed feelings about. The positives: it fits her, it?s not a sack, and there?s sexiness to it. The negatives: the lace looks kind of cheap to me, the cut and the design of the bodice is odd, and the overall effect is not all that gorgeous. That being said, I love her hair and makeup here. I really like it when Angelina does bigger, teased up hair. It suits her.
As for Brad, he was without his cane! And if it just me, or is Brad looking a little bit ?refreshed?? He actually made the effort to groom his scraggily facial hair, and he looks so shiny, maybe it?s throwing me off and making me think he looks Botoxed when he?s just clean, for once.
Anyhoodle, Angelina was at the PGAs because she was receiving The Stanley Kramer Award for In the Land of Blood and Honey. We discussed the award previously – ITLOBAH received the award for taking on complicated social issues. Congrats to Angelina!

This is just a funny little story about Brangelina and their post-Golden Globes night. Did you know that Angelina and Brad actually went out to some industry parties after the Globes? Isn?t that surprising? They usually never party after the show. According to Page Six, Angelina and Brad made their way to the CAA party, and while Angelina sat down and relaxed, ?Brad Pitt ditched his cane and caught up with George Clooney, who was with gal pal Stacey Kiebler, and Leonardo DiCaprio and supermodel girlfriend Erin Heatherton.? Brad wants this as much as George Clooney, make no mistake. Brad was there to glad-hand and be seen. And I never though Leo and Brad were tight, so that?s interesting. Anyway, Us Weekly had a funny story about what happened when Brad and Angelina were walking into the CAA party:

Both Jolie, 36, and love of nearly seven years Pitt, 48, left Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards empty handed — Jolie’s In the Land of Blood and Honey didn’t nab the Best Foreign Language Film globe, and Moneyball star Pitt lost to pal George Clooney in the Best Actor, Drama category.
But Jolie (looking spectacular in satin one-shoulder Atelier Versace gown, bright red lipstick and a dramatic updo hairstyle) had quite the consolation prize: Pitt!
“You’re prettier than me,” Jolie gushed to her man as they arrived quietly at the CAA afterparty at unset Tower. Pitt looked dashing as always in a Salvatore Ferragamo three-piece tuxedo.
Added Jolie: “My shoes are going to kill me!”
“It’s nice when everything comes together,” Pitt told E!’s Ryan Seacrest of their double nominations. “It’s a golden night for us!”
Indeed, Jolie naughtily told the Associated Press what she was most looking forward to that evening: “Getting into bed with Brad!”

So Brad and Angelina didn?t go home immediately for their special bed-time date? instead, they went out partying, and Angelina made sure that Brad knew he was the prettiest one there. Is that really their dynamic?!? My mind is boggled.

Ah, lets? just go ahead and analyze (and over-analyze) everything Brangelina. Brad and Angie made it to at the Golden Globes red carpet with plenty of time to schmooze the media outlets. Brad wore a three-piece Ferragamo tuxedo which? no one paid attention to. People only looked at Brad?s cane and his hair. He looked scruffy, but I was just happy that he wasn?t wearing sunglasses like a jackass. As for Angelina, she was in this cream and red Atelier Versace. Okay, Brangeloonies, it?s time for some hard truths: I really didn?t like this gown. Seriously. It washed her out, even with the red streak. It looked padded in the bust and butt, and the cut was really weird throughout the bodice and shoulders. Now, I didn?t loathe the look, and I?m aware that there are mixed opinions. My mom loved the whole thing, and CB thought her lipstick was the biggest problem. So, go ahead and fight about it. I?m just saying, I think she could have looked so much better. And hey, at least it wasn?t a motherchucking sack.
Shall we talk about the Ryan Seacrest interview? I was laughing my ass off. You know Ryan and Angelina pretty much hate each other, right? And it goes back to the 2007 Golden Globes – go here for a minor review. Anyway, last night, Angelina wore a stunningly direct bit face while talking to Ryan, and I was totally rooting for her to smack the hell out of him. Does it even matter what they said to each other? Nope. The subtext was clear. Ryan was all, ?This bitch.? And Angelina was all, ?Come at me, a–hole. I?ll kneecap your ass too.?
As for Brangelina at the actual show – they were front and center, and there were some gratuitous cut-aways to them, but not as many as in years past. Angelina lost Best Foreign Film (while Madonna was presenting!) and Brad lost Best Actor, but both got to present. During the ceremony, Angelina wrapped herself up in a matching shawl or jacket which was not cute. And thankfully, the cameras didn?t pan to Angelina when Ricky Gervais made ANOTHER crack about The Tourist. All in all, a disappointing night for the Brangelina Brand.

They're Hollywood's hottest couple, and tonight (January 15) Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie wowed the crowd as they arrived at the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards.
Dressed to the nines as they hit the red carpet, the Tinseltown twosome were the picture of perfection for one of the year's swankiest A-list affairs.
Having been recently announced as the show's newest pair of presenters, Brad and Angelina join fellow Hollywood heavyweights Nicole Kidman, Harrison Ford and Johnny Depp.
Additionally, Mr. Pitt - who sported a Salvatore Ferragamo black three piece tuxedo - will go head-to-head against George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael Fassbender and Ryan Gosling as they vie for Best Actor in a Motion Picture in the Drama category.
Meanwhile, Angelina's directorial work "In the Land of Blood and Honey" is up for Best Foreign Language Film, a nomination in which she said, "I am grateful that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association is honoring our film. This was a true collaboration and I am forever indebted to our cast and crew, who experienced their own personal tragedies in the Bosnian War and gave me an authentic perspective into the conflict. This nomination is a tribute to the collective talent and passion of this extraordinary cast."

I always love seeing Angelina Jolie in a suit. These are photos from the American Cinematheque’s 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards Foreign-Language Nominee Event, in which Angelina joined her fellow Golden Globe-nominated directors for some photo ops, interviews, and? lunch, maybe? She posed with Aida Takla O’Reilly (the shorter, older dude), who is president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, and with Pedro Almodovar, who is nominated for The Skin I Live In. She also posed with all of her fellow ?Best Foreign Language? nominees/directors.
According to Just Jared, Angelina?s ensemble was a mix of a Michael Kors dress and a Tom Ford jacket. She wore Michael Kors last week too – Kors designed that coat she wore in Washington, D.C. Maybe she?ll be wearing Kors at the Globes tonight? Hmm? that would be interesting. Anyway, I do like it when Angelina wears suits and looks like a professional. I think her business style – pencil skirts, cashmere, well-tailored suits – is much better than her red carpet style.
Any thoughts as to whether Angelina and/or Brad will actually win a Golden Globe tonight? If it?s between the two of them, I?m hoping Brad wins Best Actor. I will be sick to my stomach if Clooney walks away with it, anointed as the frontrunner in this Best Actor race. Meanwhile, I think Angelina should be proud of her Foreign Language nomination, but there are probably more worthy winners. The Hollywood Foreign Press loves Almodovar, right? Also – both Angelina and Brad are going to be presenting tonight, so they?re both guaranteed some time on the stage. Moneyball is up for Best Picture, Drama, and how cute would it be if Angelina introduced the clip?
