A few weeks ago, Brad Pitt gave an interview in which he seemed to indicate he was softening on the idea of marrying Angelina. He said, in part, ?The kids ask about marriage. It?s meaning more and more to them. So it?s something we need to look at.? When I read that, it barely registered. But other people freaked out and there were twenty-million stories about BRANGELINA WEDDING ZOMG. Didn?t it just seem like Brad was simply talking in general terms?? Anyway, Life & Style has picked up the wedding gauntlet and run with it. According to L&S/Hollywood Life, Brad has issued an ultimatum to Angelina: Marry me now or ELSE!
After six babies and six years together, has Brad finally convinced Angelina to tie the knot? A new report says yes! But guess what she wants to exchange instead of rings!
If you thought the madness surrounding the royal wedding was insane, just picture what it will be like when the most famous parents in Hollywood, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, walk down the aisle! The A-list couple has had a change of heart when it comes to marriage, and it?s all thanks to their six kids and her desire for more!
?The kids ask about marriage,? reveals Brad, ?It?s meaning more and more to them. So it?s something we?ve got to look at.? And Angie, 36, agrees. ?Children are clearly a commitment,? she says, ?a bigger commitment [than marriage].?
So, Brad has used Angelina?s ?biggest commitment? ? their six kids Maddox, 9, Pax, 7, Zahara, 6, Shiloh, 5, and 2-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne ? to persuade her to finally tie the knot. ?Brad has told Angie that he doesn?t want to add another child to their family until they get married,? an insider shares with Life & Style. ?And she?s fine with that.?
One thing she?s not fine with is a wedding ring! ?She?ll exchange necklaces or charms instead,? reveals another source.
So, will Brangelina have a beautiful ceremony at their lavish French chateau, which has a 16th century chapel on the grounds?

Er? honestly, and let me just let my Brangeloonie freak flag fly, I?ve always wondered which one - Brad or Angelina - was more opposed to getting married. At first, when they got together and Angelina was pregnant with Shiloh, I thought that Angelina was the one who didn?t really care about getting married, and that Brad was the one to want to nail this thing down. But over time? I tend to think that Brad is the one who is more reticent about marriage. I think Angelina is the one who not-so-secretly wants to get hitched. Basically, I doubt this story simply because I don?t buy these dynamics. I think Angelina is the one more in favor of marriage.
By the way, an unnamed insider tells Gossip Cop that Brangelina have ?no plans for a wedding, by the end of the year or otherwise.? It doesn?t really mean much, but there you go.

She is the envy of many a woman for having Brad Pitt as her man, and Angelina Jolie says she absolutely loves being with the ?Fight Club? stud.
During a recent interview, the ?Changeling? chick gushed about her love for Pitt and how he makes her feel.
"I am very lucky with Brad. He is a real gentleman, but he is also a real man's man. He's got the wonderful balance of being an extraordinary, great, loving father, a very, very intelligent man and physically he's a real man...in all things that it means."
She continued, "I love being a woman. I love that I can have children. I love feeling soft, I love being with Brad, I love all the sensitivity and natural emotion."
And they?re not just committed to each other- Ang and Brad are both devoted parents to their six kids. "When Brad and I decided to have a large family we decided we?d only do it if we could be really hands-on and take the kids with us, seeing them every day. I am always there on weekends, I only ever work a five-day week, and I am often there for breakfast or dinner. When I'm working they come up at lunch."

Angelina Jolie allegedly has a new interview with The Telegraph (UK). I say ?allegedly? because even though some of the quotes seem new to me, many of the Brangeloonie commenters on Telegraph?s site are claiming that they were pulled from other sources. Perhaps we can agree that even if Angelina didn?t technically say this stuff to The Telegraph, she said it to somebody, and thus, it?s newsworthy? You can read the full Telegraph piece here - I found it to be an interesting, although exhaustive and sycophantic read. Here are some highlights:
Angelina on being told that Johnny Depp considers she and Brad the ?Taylor-Burton? couple currently: Jolie smiles when I pass on Depp?s observation. ‘Did he really say that?? I can?t tell if she?s pleased or not. ‘Well, I?ll take it as a compliment. When we made The Tourist we hung out constantly, although we were boring and just had play dates with the kids. [Depp?s boy] Jack and Maddox played the computer the whole time.?
Jolie on her attatchment to the now David Fincher-helmed Cleopatra project: ‘[Cleopatra] has been very misunderstood,? Jolie tells me. ‘I thought it was all about the glamour, but then I read about her and she was a very strong mother, she spoke five languages and she was a leader.? The producer, Scott Rudin, conceived the film with Jolie in mind. Taylor herself was reportedly not pleased. Insiders have said that she rebuffed Jolie?s attempts to get her blessing for the project and hated the idea of the film being remade. ‘My performance will never be as lovely as Elizabeth?s,? Jolie says. ‘We are trying to get into a different truth about her as a pharaoh in history and not as a sex symbol, because she really wasn?t. Even this idea of her having many lovers ? it was possible that it was only two. She is very interesting, but she wasn?t a great beauty.?
On the subject of marriage: ‘We are obviously extremely committed to the children and as parents together,? is all she will say on the subject. That and that she ‘loves France. I can?t move about Paris as much as I?d like to but the children go out with other people sometimes so that they can have the experience.?
On child-rearing: ‘When Brad and I decided to have a large family we decided we?d only do it if we could be really hands-on and take the kids with us, seeing them every day,? says Jolie. ‘I am always there on weekends, I only ever work a five-day week, and I am often there for breakfast or dinner. On motorcycles: ‘I have an MV Augusta,? she says. ‘But Brad is the real rider. He?s really good.? She also flies a plane. ‘But that said, I love being a woman. I love that I can have children. I love feeling soft, I love being with Brad, I love all the sensitivity and natural emotion.?
On her full-length feature directorial debut, In the Land of Blood and Honey: It was originally being filmed in Bosnia itself but had to move to Hungary when protests broke out over a rumoured inter-ethnic rape scene, which Jolie denies. ‘That was a misunderstanding,? she tells me. ‘I sat down and decided I would write one day,? continues Jolie. ‘I didn?t intend on writing anything or directing anything but I wrote a piece and Brad read it and said, ?You know what, honey, it?s not too bad. It?s pretty good.? We joked about it, but then the next thing I knew I didn?t trust anyone else with the material and I was directing the movie. I had such a great experience and Brad was so supportive.?
More on Brad: ?I am very lucky with Brad,? she goes on. ‘He is a real gentleman, but he is also a real man?s man. People called her Marshmallow because she was so soft. But also she was so strong of heart and fiercely protective of her kids. Her integrity was unbreakable. The world couldn?t darken her. And now my daughters are very strong, too.?
The future: Once Kung Fu Panda 2 is released she?ll work on the distribution of her Bosnian War love story and begin developing a film about Churchill and Roosevelt (Sir Anthony Hopkins may take on the role of Churchill). This summer she?ll also star in the new Louis Vuitton advertising campaign, at about the same time as beginning pre-production on Cleopatra. ‘I love my job and I love my family,? she concludes. ‘But I?m not 20 anymore and I?m going to want to do a lot of other things with my life. At some point I will slow down.? Just not yet.

I found the stuff about the Cleopatra movie interesting, because I?m so, so worried about it. I worry that David Fincher will cast Brad Pitt in a role. I worry that Fincher will hire Trent Reznor for the Cleopatra score. I worry that although the film is supposedly based on a book which uses the historical record on Cleopatra, that this will become a cesspool of historical revisionism. That being said, I like the idea of Angelina as Cleopatra. I just wish Clive Owen and Ian McKellan?s names were being bandied about (as Marc Anthony and Caesar, obviously).
As for the rumors about Brad and Angelina finally getting hitched - Brad talked about it in his interview over the weekend. I think it could happen, honestly. And I would pay a lot of money to see Empress Zahara?s flower girl outfit.

In the end, it was just too much color for her. Her system got overloaded by red-orange-coral sacky goodness and she ordered the gerbils to prepare a very special all-black ensemble for yet another outing, this one designed specifically to make us forget that she ever, EVER wore a color. So the gerbils arranged this outing - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, exiting Ozzie Dots yesterday in LA. Apparently the store is some kind of party supply place, and they got what seems to be birthday party decorations. Probably for Shiloh?s fifth birthday, which is this Friday (tomorrow!)? For some reason, though, I doubt Shiloh wanted a birthday theme of anything you could find at a party supply store. She probably wanted a samurai theme and Angelina was like ?How about ponies? How about a horse theme, babe??
Also, notice that in every photo, Angelina isn?t putting that lollipop to her mouth. It?s a prop! I want to see her eat a lollipop. I suspect she doesn?t know how to. She?s probably just holding it for Brad. Oh, and she?s carrying a Louis Vuitton bag. Of course!
Meanwhile, Brad has been talking about the Missouri floods and all of the terrible tornados in the Midwest: ?I spent a lot of time in Joppa Joplin*, MO. My grandparents are from there and it is about 50 or 60 miles from where I grew up, so we?re looking into it now? My thoughts are certainly with (the victims) and of course a lot of them will be coming out in the next few days, they have a big mountain ahead of them. I wish them the best.?

After spending the previous night on the red carpet, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie paired up for a relaxing afternoon of shopping in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday (May 25).
The lovely couple first headed to La Luz De Jesus Gallery before stopping at Ozzie Dots to check out some costumes - possibly in preparation for a costume party for Angelina's upcoming birthday on June 4th.
As for their night on the red carpet on Tuesday, Brangelina were busy premiering Brad's new movie "The Tree of Life" an Bing Theatre.
Talking with press during the screening, Pitt told Us Weekly of his abusive father character: "I certainly don't raise my kids the same way [as my character does]. I am painfully aware that my actions leave an indelible mark on them in these formidable years. So I make sure I don't bring my crap home. I want to keep it free."

These are some new photos of the LA premiere of Kung Fu Panda 2. Brad and Angelina are back in LA, obviously, and they were the stars of the red carpet. Angelina wore a BLACK SACK, of course. Except? it?s not really a sack. It?s a rather nice Michael Kors dress with a side-slit and cap sleeves, and the soul of a sack. It looks nice on her. The shoes are Ferragamo. Brad is wearing? sand. He?s all one color. Sandy Sand Sand Pitt. Brad?s kind of celebrating though - his film, Tree of Life, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, took home top honors today with the Palm d?Or. Congrats to Terrence Malick, although winning the Palm d?Or doesn?t necessarily translate into box office, wider critical acclaim or the awards season. It might just mean that Malick could fart for two hours and most industry professionals would call it ?bold, inspired, thought-provoking, adult cinema!?
A couple of things I wanted to note: are those big panda costumes supposed to terrify children? Because they?re kind of terrifying me as an adult. In close-up photography, the panda?s face looks completely unhinged and murderous. Also: Angelina?s boobs look kind of big. She looks boobier than usual, although she?s always been kind of unexpectedly booby. Do you think that Angie?s rack will inspire a new round of pregnancy rumors?
And? I kind of like Brad?s hair. I prefer him with less hair product, and honestly, this is one of the cutest bobs I?ve seen in the past year. He?s not Carey Mulligan, but hair is pretty awesome right now.

Back in the States after promoting overseas at the Cannes Film Festival, Angelina Jolie was joined by Brad Pitt for the Los Angeles premiere of DreamWorks Animation's "Kung Fu Panda 2" on Sunday (May 22).
With fellow stars Jack Black and Lucy Liu also on-hand, the castmates took to the Grauman's Chinese Theatre venue as they ready for their family film's May 26th release.
Recently talking about the Jennifer Yuh directed movie with the Sun-Times, Jolie brought up how she - as an adoptive parent - can relate to the storyline mulling over the adoption of the popular Po character.
Angelina told, ?I wondered if my children would ask questions. In our home, adoption and birth home are everyday words. Now those are words that Po is using in their favorite movie, and I think it?s just lovely.?
The mother of six added, ?We have conversations about how families come together all the time. My kids have been there to pick up a brother or sister from the orphanage. The word orphanage is not a bad word in our house. They?re good words.?

She?s always been a humanitarian, and Angelina Jolie recently took some time to thank the men and women who serve the USA in the military branches.
Last Friday (May 13), the ?Mr. and Mrs. Smith? actress paid a surprise visit to the Ramstein Air Base in Germany to show her appreciation.
Ang spent time with wounded soldiers who were waiting for flights back to the USA, posing for pictures and signing autographs along the way.
From there, she caught a flight to the South of France where she began promoting ?Kung Fu Panda 2? at the 64th Cannes Film Festival.

I heard some mutterings about this several days ago, and we?ve finally gotten the photos! Apparently, Angelina Jolie left the South of France last Friday and she flew to the Ramstein Air Base in Germany for a USO trip. Angelina has been doing work with the USO for several years now, and she?s made morale boosting trips to soldiers at Walter Reed (in Washington), and in Afghanistan and Iraq too, usually on the back of her UNCHR work. Anyway, Angelina met with wounded warriors who were on their way back to America, as well as soldiers simply stationed at Ramstein. In some of the photos, she?s greeting the USO?s European regional vice president Walt Murren, and in the other photos you can see that she?s meeting the troops.
Most sources say that the soldiers were surprised and happy to see her. One wounded warrior, Thomas Kunan, told media outlets, “I got to talk to her for a couple of minutes. It put a smile on people’s faces; it’s really cool.” According to the USO blog, Jolie also ?popped in on a departing Med Evac aircraft loaded with wounded soldiers that was set to depart for Andrews Air Force Base.? There?s video too!

OH. MY. GOD. Angelina is NOT wearing a sack dress, y?all. Of course, although it?s not a glittery sack (as the prophets had foretold), it?s still not technically a good look. Here are photos from the Cannes Film Festival premiere of Tree of Life. Brad was there. Sean Penn (and his crazy tomato face) were there. Jessica Chastain was there. And Brad?s lover Angelina was there, in this? I?m calling it ?chocolate?. This chocolate, satin, formal ball gown. I would like to see the ball gown with ball-gown-appropriate hair, please. Because if she?s just going to wear her hair down and kind of scraggly, just throw on a motherchucking sack dress.
I just saw that Angelina?s gown in Versace. I never would have guessed it, honestly. Usually Angelina + Versace = MAGIC, but not so much here. I do like the chocolate color on her, but this is just? too satiny, too fussy for Angelina. This looks like something Eva Longoria would wear. That?s the PROBLEM. (PS… there’s a thigh-high slit in the mix too. Ordinarily, I would like that, but this dress is too much for Jolie).
Oh, and is it just me, or is Jessica?s yellow gown very reminiscent of the Ungaro gown Angelina wore several years ago? Right? Same shade of yellow and everything.
