Continuing to work on her project "W.E.," Madonna was spotted making her way around Villefranche-sur-Mer, France on Wednesday (July 28).
The "Material Girl" had just landed at the Nice Airport, as she headed off to look for proper filming locales in the French Riviera commune ahead of shoots scheduled for Thursday.
Aside from her movie ambitions, the Daily Mirror is reporting that Madge is plotting a six-month tour as we speak.
?It?s going to be her biggest, most unexpected tour to date,? the Mirror's source said. ?Madonna is in peak conditions so the grueling aspect of life on the road isn?t a problem."
The insider adds, ?She also road-tested dancers at her fave London club, and had her lover, Jesus Luz, give his opinion.?

She?s always up to something, and last night (July 26) Madonna was spotted out and about in London, England.
The ?Music? songstress made her exit from Club Quarters where she is filming scenes for her new film ?W.E.? in which she takes the role of director.

Enjoying a night out on the town, Madonna was spotted leaving Aura nightclub in London, England in the wee hours of Saturday morning (July 24).
The ?Material Girl? singer donned a cute fedora hat and a casual jumpsuit as she made her way out of the UK hotspot and into a chauffeured car at around 2AM.
In other news, the iconic singer is showing the world just how amazingly beautiful and youthful she really is - as she recently signed a contract for a high-profile ad campaign with Dolce & Gabbana.
Meanwhile, Madonna and daughter Lourdes have chosen punky ?Gossip Girl? actress, Taylor Momsen, as the face of their brand new clothing line called ?Material Girl.?

She?s used to being the center of attention, but today (July 20) Madonna was spotted assuming her position behind the camera.
The Material Girl was in London, England where she?s directing an upcoming film called ?W.E.?
And it seems that Madge?s staff got her into some hot water with the local police after throwing a raucous party at her residence.
Though Madonna was out of the country, she was cited for noise pollution and given a formal warning.

Lots of people start new projects on their home in the summertime, and it seems Madonna is jumping on the home improvement bandwagon.
The Material Girl is reportedly adding a new floor to her $32 million townhouse on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, designed to hold her gym equipment.
According to an inside source, Madge will add 1,614 square feet to the property, for a total of 13,847 square feet.
In addition to the gym area, Madonna is also putting in a playroom and a wine cellar, all to the tune of $1.7 million.

Coming in on a transatlantic flight, Madonna was spotted arriving at Heathrow International Airport from Los Angeles this morning (June 10).
The ?Material Girl? songstress donned an all-black and white ensemble accented with a lavender printed scarf and sunglasses as she strolled through the terminal.

US Weekly is reporting that former BFFs and expats Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow are no longer speaking to each other. It’s all due to competing egos and changing lifestyles now that Madonna ditched her British husband and Goop is sticking with hers. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard this rumor, and there’s plenty of circumstantial evidence to support it.
Gossip Cop refutes this report in their typical “the rep denies it, so it must be false” way, but it has a ring of truth to me. US Weekly gives a vague quote from Gwyneth’s May Vogue UK interview in which she hinted at trouble with a friend, “I’m having a situation right now with a friend where I’m feeling pretty angry.” From that quote, it could be anyone and the issue might be minor. However, Gwynnie took a direct jab at Madge in that interview, saying that it was a good thing Madonna was no longer working with their trainer Tracy Anderson, because Madonna “keeps people waiting - it takes up your whole day.” Gwyneth also devoted a whole issue of Goop to “friendship divorce” on February 25.
A source close to Madonna, 51, and Gwyneth Paltrow, 37, tells Us Weekly the dear pals, BFFs since 1999, are dunzo.
“They don’t speak,” says the insider. “I can’t tell you exactly why they had the falling out, but Gwyneth can be jealous and competitive.”
Although Madonna’s rep denies the “breakup,” the source says things went downhill slowly for the duo after Madonna split from Guy Ritchie in 2008, leaving “Gwyneth and Madonna with less in common.” (Paltrow’s been wed to U.K.-born singer Chris Martin since 2003.)
And to be sure, both women have a history of bagging their besties: Madge fell out with Sandra Bernhard around 1991; Paltrow cut ties with Winona Ryder in 1998.
In fact, Paltrow (who once called the singer “like an older sister”) hinted at a new feud in May’s British Vogue: “I’m having a situation right now with a friend where I’m feeling pretty angry.”

I’m thinking this is true. Madonna dropped Tracy Anderson as her trainer in October of last year, and just a few months later we heard that Madonna and Gwyneth had a falling out over some business issue. That earlier report noted that they are “both Type-A personalities” and we surely know that’s true. They were probably glad to get rid of each other once their mutually aggrandizing relationship was no longer working for them. They both have enough people around them blowing smoke up their asses to fill the role they once played in each other’s lives.

This comes from the bottom rungs of the British tabloids, so there?s more than a good chance that this is total crap. The Daily Star (via Celebrity Mania) is claiming that Madonna wants to ?treat? herself to $200,000 worth of plastic surgery for her 52nd birthday this August. The reason? Because she?s a gristly vampire? Nah. Apparently, Madge has been ?feeling her age? and she wants ?to keep looking her best?. You know what would have kept her looking good? If she hadn?t gone through with the first round of plastic surgery, in which chicken cutlet cheek implants were welded onto her face.
Turning 52 in August, pop diva Madonna might be giving herself a treat by going under the knife. Britain’s Daily Star newspaper has come out with a story that the queen of pop is planning to spend $200,000 on plastic surgery on some parts of her body and face in a bid to maintain her sexy look.
A source suggested that her divorce from husband Guy Ritchie and her rocky romance with Jesus Luz have something to do with her decision. “Madonna has been feeling her age since her divorce from Guy Ritchie in 2008,” the source revealed. “She thought she’d be living ‘happy ever after’ but it hasn’t happened that way. She’s been dating the model Jesus Luz who is a lot younger than her and she wants to keep looking her best.”
Daily Star reported Madonna, who recently split from Jesus, is “considering an eye lift, a boob job, lip fillers and Lipo Sculpt but is also opting for less invasive procedures including a new laser treatment that reduces the appearance of spider veins.” Though so, it is said that the “Material Girl” still “wants things to look natural with nothing too radical”.

Reasons why this could be true: Madge could be going in for some maintenance work this summer when she has some free time; she could truly be worried about her looks; she?s already had some stuff done, so why not more? Reasons why this is probably bullsh-t: Madge is cheap and I don?t see her spending $200,000 on anything that she can?t hang on her wall; after all of the criticism she received after the cheek implants, would she go under the knife again?

Putting a damper on her time in the UK, Madonna was spotted getting a parking ticket outside Aura nightclub in London, England last night (May 20).
The Material Girl looked a bit worse for wear as she exited the club, sporting a shredded black and beige getup with a black fedora.

Sometimes I really do wonder if Madonna has always been a total moron, and her whole career was just a fluke. I don?t really think that?s the case - I think Madge is a smart businesswoman and a great reader of trends, the latter being one of the most underrated qualities for celebrities today. But for all of Madge?s business savvy, she?s a f-cking idiot about history. Madonna is set to direct her second feature film in a few months. The film will be about - at least in part - the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, or King Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson. Madge recently gave an interview about the Duke and Duchess and she ended up angering the history buff in me:
Madonna, who is making a film about the Duchess of Windsor, says Nazi slurs about Wallis Simpson were unfair. Madonna’s hopes of enlisting the Queen’s support for a film that she is making about the Edward VIII abdication crisis are unlikely to be helped by inflammatory claims she has made about Wallis Simpson.
“People have accused Wallis of all kinds of things,” she says of her fellow American. ?They’ve said that she put a spell on Edward. They’ve said that she was a hermaphrodite and that he was gay. They’ve said they were Nazi sympathizers. It’s just the usual lynch mob mentality that descends upon somebody who has something that lots of other people don’t have.”
The admiration for Hitler of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, as they became, concerned the government, particularly after he entertained them in 1937.
Mandrake reported in March that Madonna would ask the Queen for filming on W. E. to be allowed in royal palaces.
“Madonna is keen to make the film as authentic as possible and would be very grateful if we are allowed to film at certain locations,” said one of her associates. “She loves the UK and holds your Queen in the highest regard.”
Madonna, who lived in Sir Cecil Beaton’s former house in Dorset during her seven-year marriage to the British director Guy Ritchie, plans to start shooting the film this summer. The singer has long been fascinated by the 1936 crisis, in which Edward VIII’s desire to marry Wallis Simpson, a twice-divorced American socialite, caused a constitutional dilemma.
The crisis was resolved by Edward’s abdication and his succession by his brother, George VI, who was the Queen’s father. Edward was given the title the Duke of Windsor and he married Mrs Simpson.

This film that Madonna will direct, it?s something that she?s been researching for years, allegedly. So how is it that Madonna never found any of the extensive documentation about the Duke and Duchess?s true sympathies for Nazis in general and Adolf Hitler in particular? Back in 1937, before the bombing of Britain, and after King Edward?s abdication (in 1936), the Duke and Duchess toured Nazi Germany and met with Hitler. They were photographed giving the ?Sieg Heil? Nazi salute. When the Duke and Duchess traveled to America during the war, Roosevelt had them monitored as anti-Allied spies. There were rumors that should Hitler ever take control of Britain, he would install (or re-install) the Duke as king, answering to the Nazi Empire. There is extensive documentation to back all of this up - so what the hell is Madonna talking about? Something tells me this film she’s doing is going to be a “reimagining” of the Windsors rather than a story with any kind of historical accuracy.
