Happy to be hanging out below the stage and not on it, Katy Perry attended a Bjork concert with friends at the Pantages Theater in Los Angeles on Saturday (June 8).
The "Firework" singer wore a short black dress, long black coat over it, nylons, and heels as she made her way past autograph-seekers stationed at the door.
Having enjoyed the concert, the 28-year-old songstress tweeted, "Dear Bjork, how do I join your traveling girl cult? #brilliantshow."
On Friday, Katy was spotted at the Chateau Marmont with friends, including on-again, off-again boyfriend John Mayer.

Here we go again! The perfectly gross couple is back in action and reunited because — I guess — neither one of them can find other people in their “dateability range” that will put up with their crap. If I really think about it, I don’t know who else each of them could really date at this point. John could score up-and-coming starlets, but he wants someone who already has a name that he can use for publicity. As for Katy, she seems pretty high maintenance and clingy and a lot of dudes in her fame category wouldn’t put up with that when they can always date down and find someone who will just chill. So I guess John and Katy are sort of perfect together even though they broke up for a second time in March. Now it’s on again, bitches:
Katy Perry and John Mayer are reportedly giving their romance a THIRD shot. The stars — who split for the second time in March — are said to be casually dating again. A source revealed: “They are just hanging out. They are not putting a label on it.”
The couple were spotted out on an intimate date at the weekend and have spent several recent nights together, according to US reports.
Weeks after breaking up in March, guitarist John told chat show hostess Ellen DeGeneres that he was “happier” without the Hot N Cold singer. He added: “I?m on the same journey as everyone else. Coupling is a tricky thing.” Asked by Ellen if he and Katy had split up for good, he replied: “Correct.”
It was claimed that Katy?s constant mentions of her ex [Russell Brand] was the catalyst for her split with John, who was reportedly driven to jealous rages whenever she brought Russell up.
A source said: “Katy and Russell still talk to one another and that was another thing that irked John. He’s never been in a relationship where he wasn?t the main focus all the time and it bothered him.
?Sure, Katy was unhappy that John constantly flirted with other girls and played up his heartbreaker image, even when she was standing next to him. But, Katy gave it back. She knew that she could push John?s buttons by comparing his flaws to what she saw was great in Russell, which he hated.”

So just “hanging out” but “not putting a label on it” = convenient sex? Sounds like a plan for these two rich and famous weirdoes. Yet if these two are reunited, I have to wonder if Robert Pattinson isn’t off sniffling in a corner somewhere. Honestly, I don’t think that Katy and Sparkles were a thing at all, but I think they just did silly, unorthodox things like crash wedding rehearsals together. A new update from Entertainmentwise says that Katy and Sparkles are just friends, and he “finds her really fun” because she’s “not moody like Kristen.” Still, I feel bad for Sparkles because if Katy’s back with John, she won’t have much time left for her non-gay, gay boyfriend. Every girl needs one, you know.

Katy Perry’s awful parents, Mary and Keith Hudson, are at it again. These two coast upon the goodwill generated by their daughter’s pop-star fame to sell their televangelical wares for the highest price. While they don’t mind posing with their daughter on the red carpet so that they can soak up all of the attention that comes with being “Katy Perry’s parents,” they just as often talk trash about her and say things about her being destined to go to hell because of her saucy image and the fake-lesbian song (“I Kissed a Girl”) that started it all. It was only a few weeks ago when Keith doubled down and preached to a congregation about how Katy was “a devil child” that needed healing. Now Katy herself has revealed that her mom thanks God every single day about the disappearance of Russell Brand from Katy’s life. Uh, mom? STFU:

Katy added: “Growing up, I wasn’t allowed to listen to non-religious music. Madonna, my idol, was considered worse than the devil.”

One has to wonder whether, at this point in her life, Katy merely shrugs her shoulder at her parent’s obvious antics. Is she truly bothered by this nonsense, or is she just like, “Whatever, mom and dad.” She seems like she’s over it, but I still feel bad for her for having to endure such an embarrassment.
Speaking of the devil Russell Brand, here he is departing yoga class on Monday and killing my lady boner with that Miley Cyrus post-pilates bun. Rusty’s even wearing an “Anarchy in the UK” t-shirt just like Miley’s been doing lately. Conspiracy.

Katy Perry’s parents are extremely religious but they seemed okay with Katy’s career. The millions she makes and possibly supports them with could be part of the reason. However, when they’re in the company of their religious friends, they have to keep up appearances. That’s why they went all fire and brimstone on Katy and ask people to pray for her.
The pair, who have made millions off the back of their famous daughter, show a video making Katy out to be a ?devil child? who needs ?healing?.
Speaking in Santa Fe Springs, California, Keith ranted: ?They ask how can I preach if I produce a girl who sang about kissing another girl?
?I was at a concert of Katy?s where there were 20,000. I?m watching this generation and they were going at it. It almost looked like church.
?I stood there and wept and kept on weeping and weeping. They?re loving andworshipingthe wrong thing.?
Katy?s parents ask for donations, saying they need ?not one or two dollars, but 20s? so they can go to Switzerland.
The article seems to leave out a very important detail. Why do they need to go to Switzerland? Maybe they’re going for religious reasons. People don’t know this, but even God needs a Swiss bank account. The government is killing the big man upstairs with all these taxes.

Here are some photos of Katy Perry at the Delete Blood Cancer gala in NYC last night. Katy is wearing Vera Wang, and I think she pulls it off well overall. She looks so good in bold colors, and it’s amazing that Katy has kept one hair color for over six consecutive months at this point. This dress is pretty great too — Katy’s rack isn’t busting out all over the place, her tiny waist is on full display, and I don’t even mind the mermaid tail. Plus, Katy’s makeup doesn’t look as drag-queeny as usual, and these earrings look delicious enough to eat.
That’s as far as the good news goes for this post, however. Katy’s dad, Keith Hudson, is running his mouth again. For several years, Keith and Katy’s mom, Mary, have made a tidy living off their daughter’s name and notoriety, and they travel the globe giving guest speeches at churches while publicizing themselves as “Katy Perry’s parents.” At the same time, they’ve also expressed displeasure over Katy’s choice of career because they wanted her to be a faith healer. A few years ago, Keith even said that Katy was destined to go to hell because she sang about being a fake lesbian. For awhile, Katy managed to get her parents to STFU, but now Keith must need some major money again because he’s calling his daughter a “devil child.” Poor Katy:

Oh for the love of …. this is so messed up. Keith and Mary certainly don’t mind appearing on the red carpet with Katy and soaking up the crowd’s adulation in search of the almighty dollar, do they? With evangelists such as this pair, I always wonder whether they actually believe their own words about needing large donations to truly do their God’s work or whether they give each other congratulatory “high fives” after the show for pulling the proverbial wool over gullible people’s eyes. I tend to think that Katy is, by and large, an overindulged Hollywood brat, but she must be so embarrassed about her parent’s words and actions.

The "Wide Awake" singer donned a strapless emerald Giambattista Valli gown with twig embellishment at the waist and her long dark hair worn to the side.
Stoked to hobnob with the Prez, the 28-year-old songstress tweeted, "I just witnessed our President deliver the funniest speech I have ever heard. #nerdprom."
When she's not starstruck by politicians, Ms. Perry is hard at work on her fourth studio album, scheduled for release this summer.
