Now that Madonna isn’t as interested in him anymore, Yankee star Alex Rodriguez is moving on to greener pastures. Or at least less gristly, placenta-scented pastures. According to Page Six
Last week he took Kate Hudson out on a date. Our spy says they had a three-hour meal at the Lure Fishbar… and were “very cozy.” Later, A-Rod went with Hudson to the Rose Bar, where they met up with her friend Ron Burkle.
I don’t know how A-Rod will handle dating a woman who couldn’t beat him in an arm-wrestling contest. For Chrissake, his ex-wife looked like Juggernaut with breast implants and a cheap wig, and Madonna could easily pass for the She-Hulk. And I know what you’re thinking here: why hasn’t there been a Juggernaut vs. the She-Hulk in any of the Marvel comic books? And to that I would credit the failure of the Ultimate Wolverine vs. Hulk comic book miniseries, in which Wolverine is contracted by Nick Fury to assassinate the Hulk between Ultimate X-Men issues 69 and 71 and before Ultimates 2 issue 11. There was supposed to be one new major Ultimate character introduced (rumor has it it was Ultimate She-Hulk), but after only two issues, the series was canked, thereby taking with it any chances for a Juggernaut vs. She-Hulk epic battle. So there you have it. And for the record, I did have sex with an actual man that one time, no matter what the guys in my Jedi Council forum might have told you. Trust them do not, for liars they are!

Anne Hathaway is Hollywood?s latest golden girl. At the Critics Choice Awards Thursday night, she tied with her The Devil Wears Prada co-star Meryl Streep for Best Actress, and gave a meandering but gracious speech. Included in the speech was a shout-out to her father, who ?protects me and has shown me that there are good men in this world and lets me know everyday that I am worthy of the love of good people.” That veiled comment about Raffaello Follieri got the most applause - Hathaway has arrived.
Unfortunately, this arrival didn?t save her from a beat-down from her Bride Wars co-star Kate Hudson while filming a pivotal scene. People magazine has the details.
Getting into character a little too much, Kate Hudson says she accidentally punched her Bride Wars costar Anne Hathaway in the face during the movie’s catfight scene.
“We were really tired, and I had this big rock on my finger. … I whacked Annie in the face so hard,” Hudson said on the Rachael Ray show Thursday. “She was like: No, no, keep going because she was so into it. … Two hours later, she’s sitting in the back of a car with an ice pack on her face. I was so bad. I really clocked her.”
Hudson, 29, also told Ray about the main man in her life ? her son Ryder.
“He’s got a different brain than I do. I was all sport and energy. … Ryder is a mind child,” she says, “He really loves music, and he knows every word to “Viva La Vida,” the Coldplay song.”
She’s also surprised how quickly he’s growing.
“Today we were talking about the day he was born…and now that he’s 5, it’s like: Mom come on I’m going to be five for a whole year. I’m like: Wow, that’s amazing, one whole hand,” Hudson says.

It?s rare to hear about actresses suffering physically for their work - even rarer because Bride Wars is supposed to be a silly comedy. I guess all of those pratfalls come at some physical expense, and I?m glad Hathaway kept going with the scene.
With regards to Hathaway?s veiled comments about Raffaello Follieri, I was a little surprised. She hasn?t said much about him publicly, but I thought her way of pivoting to her relationship with her father was a relatively classy way to talk about the situation. Her lead role in Rachel Getting Married continues to gain critical buzz, and she?ll probably be considered a shoo-in for an Oscar nomination now.

Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson attended the New York premiere of their movie, Bride Wars. While the premise of the movie sounds mildly interesting enough to have a significant other drag me to see it, I would be really entranced with the beauty of the two lead ladies. Both Anne and Kate are absolute stunners with one having the tits and the other the ass to create an ultimate package. One of the hardest decisions would have to be made if I was caught in a room and Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway wouldn’t consent to a threesome. Which would you choose?

She’s in town doing promotion for her new movie “Bride Wars” which opens this Friday, January 9th. And this morning Kate Hudson got an early jump on the day.
Heading over to CBS studios for an appearance on “The Early Show,” the “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” babe was spotted leaving her Manhattan apartment carrying a Starbucks beverage in one hand and a massive black handbag in the other.
