Kate Hudson tends to dive head-first into her relationships. She can also jump in and out of them pretty quickly, but it seems like she definitely puts her heart into them and doesn?t hold back. Though it?s obvious she and Alex Rodriguez have been dating for some time, neither of them have ever officially acknowledged the relationship ? until now. According to Life & Style (and it is Life & Style, so grain of salt and all that), Kate called A-Rod her boyfriend at a dinner with friends ? multiple times. Which was also funny because he was right there.
In case there was any doubt, Kate Hudson is making it clear that she and Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez are officially an item, Life & Style has learned. On July 19, the couple dined with friends at seafood haven Lure in New York City, and Kate revealed to the table that Madonna?s ex is now her boyfriend.
?Kate kept saying things like, ?My boyfriend this, my boyfriend that,? when referring to Alex,? an insider tells Life & Style. ?She was talking about him even though he was right there. I think the people they were with are Alex?s friends, because Alex and the others were already there when Kate showed up around 10:30 p.m. A-Rod and his guests had gotten there closer to 9:45.?
The couple have been dating for about two months. In June, Kate was seen at a New York Yankees home game rooting for Alex, and earlier this month, the duo were spotted dining together in New York. Soon after, they spent time with Kate?s 5-year-old son, Ryder, at The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, Calif.
?They were really cute and cuddly together,? adds the insider. ?You can tell Kate really likes him. They were whispering to one another, just acting like lovers!?

That?s actually really cute. All of Kate?s relationships make me sort of nervous for her, because you can sense they can easily implode. It doesn?t seem like she ever has bad intentions or is purposely reckless with other people?s hearts. But it seems like few of them ever last longer than three or four months. On Friday Kaiser wrote that Alex treats Kate like a queen ? and he?s spoiling her son Ryder too. It?s sweet that he cares enough to try to have a good relationship with her son, and it sounds like they?re still very much in the lovey-dovey phase. Kate?s obviously very happy, and hopefully that?ll last.

In Touch Weekly has a hilarious story abut Kate Hudson this week. This classic of tabloid journalism is called ?Kate?s a Curse For Men?. In Touch runs down her past relationships with Lance Armstrong, Owen Wilson and Chris Robinson, as well as her current relationship with Alex Rodriguez. The point? Kate exhausts whichever guy she?s dating, and she basically destroys their souls. Plus, whenever she and a guy break up or maybe just get together, something really horrible happens. Oh my God, she?s a witch! Burn her, In Touch Weekly!
Some of the little photo pull-outs are funny - they?ve got some of the worst pictures of all of these men, with little snippets saying: ?Alex Is Exhausted: ?He?s burning the candle at both ends,? says A-Rod?s friend. ?He seems sluggish and tired? since dating Kate.? And don?t forget this: ?Owen Was Devasted: Owen Wilson reportedly slashed his wrists during a suicide attempt following their split.? The moral of this story is that Kate is a succubus, I think.
Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez stayed out until 2:30 on June 20, and then the next night they hit Blade Lounge.

In August 2007, Owen Wilson attempted suicide after their split. Two months after breaking up with Kate, cyclist Lance Armstrong was questioned about using performance-enhancing drugs (he tested clean). Kate?s ex-husband, rocker Chris Robinson broke up with his band and broke his hand after falling in love with her.
?I had never felt anything like that,? Chris admitted. ?It kind of took me over.? Since their 2006 separation, the band is back together.
Can Alex escape another Kate-caused controversy? His friend claims that Yankees management have already warned him not to let his latest romance become a distraction.

I don?t really hate Kate - actually, I find her mildly amusing. While I don?t really find her acting career all that interesting, I like that she doesn?t seem to follow the typical ?I?m going to sit around and be a victim and get sympathy? route that so many female celebrities do. Kate?s been dumped several times, and she?s done the dumping several times. She always moves on and she never feels sorry for herself, which I really admire. As far as the whole ?sucking the life out of a man?s soul? thing? well, most of those guys totally deserve it. Except for Owen. I really do think she messed him up big time, but it?s not all her fault. She?s not really a witch after all.

Kate Hudson has been seen around town making out with Madonna’s ex, A-Rod. So it makes sense that she has an irrational fear of getting her ass kicked. Such was the case at the Veuve Clicquot’s Manhattan Polo Classic when she got word Madonna was coming with her boy toy Jesus Luz. Hudson arrived to the event disguised in a floppy hat and sunglasses. When she heard Madonna was coming at half-time, she booked it.
?Kate was completely intimidated by Madonna,? said one guest. ?She clearly didn?t want trouble and decided to keep a low profile for the rest of the match.?
Said a second guest, ?I didn?t even see Kate Hudson again after Madonna arrived. She ran away! But if I were dating Madonna?s ex, I?d be scared, too!?
?Madonna literally didn?t care,? said a third eyewitness.
?She showed up with no makeup, a dowdy [denim] outfit and her hair pulled up in a ponytail. She doesn?t need to compete with Kate, because she will always be Queen Bee.?
This makes Madonna sound like some sort of kingpin. Like she’s going to order a hit on Kate Hudson in the middle of the Polo Classic or put a severed horse head in her bed. If she wanted, Madonna could stalk out Kate in the lady’s room and smash her head through the stall door. She takes care of business herself. One time I saw Madonna kill a chicken with one slap. True story. I’d be scared too if I was Kate Hudson.

Earlier, we reported on Prince Harry?s whirlwind trip to New York, which he capped off with a polo match on Governors Island. Madonna was there to watch the game with Jesus Luz and her sons. Guess who else was there? Kate Hudson - who is now dating (and moving too fast with) Madonna?s ex, Alex Rodriguez. Kate Hudson must not have heard that Madonna is actually ?proud? that she ?raised the bar? for A-Rod?s dates, because it seems Kate was very nervous that Madonna was going to slap her silly for getting with A-Rod.
This is what went down, according to The New York Daily News. Kate Hudson arrived at the polo match more than an hour early, and settled relatively incognito in the VIP section. When photographers realized who she was, and started taking Kate?s picture, she got mad. Then, when Kate heard Madonna had arrived, she quickly moved from the front-row VIP seats to the back ?cheap? seats. Madonna and her entourage took over Kate?s seats. Reportedly, Kate is ?completely intimidated by Madonna? and she wanted ?to keep a low profile for the rest of the match.? Here?s the thing - it seems Madonna didn?t really care. Madge acted like Kate didn?t exist. Interesting:
A catfight of epic proportions could have occurred over the weekend ?if only Madonna had cared enough to let it happen.
As it turned out, Her Madgesty didn?t even seem to realize her ex-lover Alex Rodriguez?s new paramour, Kate Hudson even existed, never mind was she ready to have a girl-on-girl showdown.
Both ladies attended Veuve Clicquot?s Manhattan Polo Classic on Governors Island Saturday afternoon, and Hudson, who knew Madonna would be attending, was all about going incognito.
After she showed up disguised in a floppy hat and huge sunglasses, Hudson told party guests that she didn?t want to be recognized, and seemed upset when the media discovered her identity anyway.
Hudson, who was most recently caught out with A-Rod at Hotel ZaZa in Dallas last week, arrived nearly an hour before Madonna. However, upon hearing about the Madonna?s impending arrival at halftime, Hudson ceded her prime VIP real estate and booked it to the back of the tent; Madge took the seats she vacated.
?Kate was completely intimidated by Madonna,? said one guest. ?She clearly didn?t want trouble and decided to keep a low profile for the rest of the match.?
Said a second guest, ?I didn?t even see Kate Hudson again after Madonna arrived. She ran away! But if I were dating Madonna?s ex, I?d be scared, too!?
While Hudson hung out in the back of the tent, Madonna rocked her royal status. After showing up in a black Mercedes Benz with several police escorts, she held court with boy toy Jesus Luz, her kids Rocco and David Banda as well as pals Marc Jacobs, Lorenzo Martone and photographer Steven Klein.
?Madonna literally didn?t care,? said a third eyewitness.
?She showed up with no makeup, a dowdy [denim] outfit and her hair pulled up in a ponytail. She doesn?t need to compete with Kate, because she will always be Queen Bee.?
Holding son David?s hand, Madonna jetted immediately following the match ? in a private New York Water Taxi. Other guests, of course, took the ferries that Veuve Clicquot?s team had provided.
There was no need to be scared, Kate. Madge has got a man. And you?ve got yours ? for now!

?She will always be Queen Bee?? That was another dry heave moment. Would you or I be intimidated by Madonna? I?ve read time and again that Madge is a lot smaller in person than you?d think. She?s only like five foot four inches tall or something. Still, she has all of those gristly muscles, so she?s probably scrappy. Madge could definitely kick Kate?s ass, if she wanted to. But why would Madge want to? It?s not like she wants to get back with A-Rod. What was Kate so freaked out about?

Kate Hudson seems like one of those women who moves too fast in relationships and is all too eager to rearrange her life to center around her new man. She dated athlete Lance Armstrong last summer and the two quickly met each other’s families and jetted around the country together. That relationship lasted three months and seemed to flame out almost as soon as it began. To their credit, neither of them spoke about the other to the press although there were enough photos of them at hitting the paparazzi hot spots together.
Now Kate is dating a notorious ladies’ man, Yankee player Alex Rodriguez, and seems to be making the same mistakes. Rodriguez is an even worse choice for a mate than Armstrong, and Kate is supposedly traveling with him as he tours with his team. The NY Post words this to make Kate sound like a puppy dog, she’s “following Alex around,” but I would bet that the feeling is mutual and that A-Rod is more than happy to have her with him:
Alex Rodriguez, is nursing his hurt ego with Kate Hudson. They’ve been together for little more than a week, but already Hudson is following A-Rod around. She even stayed with him at the Hotel ZaZa in Dallas Wednesday night after the Yankees played the Texas Rangers.

In Touch has a story this week that claims that Hudson’s friends and family are advising her to be careful with A-Rod. This could be pure conjecture but I can’t imagine that anyone really approves of that guy as good boyfriend material:
While an associate of the baseball star says that Alex and Kate, 30, are longtime friends, it’s clear that they’ve taken their relationship to a new level. But Kate’s friends fear she’s setting herself up for heartbreak. “She should not take this too seriously,” says one pal. “Alex doesn’t stick with one woman…”
Many worry that, like Kate’s marriage to Chris Robinson and her failed romances with Owen Wilson and Lance Armstrong, her romance with A-Rod will ultimately fall apart. “He has a very short attention span when it comes to dating,” says a pal.

It seems like Kate is happy to go along with what the guy wants and to honor however much privacy he’d like to have, which could explain why there are almost no photos of her out with Owen Wilson during the months they dated on and off. Owen guards his privacy and probably wanted to make sure to keep the relationship under wraps. I doubt that Rodriguez cares much either way and we will probably see photos of the two of them together at some time - if their relationship lasts much longer. Why do otherwise smart and successful women make such bad choices for partners? This is a guy who visited prostitutes while he was married. Maybe Kate will find the right one soon, though. You have to kiss a lot of frogs.

I already told you about this four months ago, but it’s finally being confirmed — Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez are dating. Page Six says
The blond actress was photographed at Friday’s game, cheering on the Bronx Bombers at the new Yankee Stadium.
But the real action came later that night at Mustang Grill on Second Avenue… [when a] bartender at the Southwestern joint “[asked] patrons not to go in the back room around 1 a.m. because A-Rod and Kate Hudson were back there making out.”
One staffer at the restaurant confirmed the two were there celebrating… although she did not witness any lip-lock herself.
The two were [also] spotted over the weekend outside the glamorous 15 Central Park West, where A-Rod rents an apartment.
For the record, making out with a guy in the back of a bar does NOT mean you’re dating him. It just means he picked up the tab. Am I right, ladies?

Doesn’t it seem like Kate Hudson has piss poor taste in men? She was rumored to be back with Owen Wilson for a while, and he’s not the worst choice, but he also seems like a player. Lance Armstrong is just not ready to settle down, and he pretty much proved it by breaking up with her just a few months after the two went public with their relationship last year at Cannes. It seems like Kate is the type of woman who kind of throws herself into a relationship and doesn’t stop to think if the guy is the right choice for her. Rodriguez is probably into her at this point, but how long until he jets? She deserves a guy who is going to treat her decently, not these high profile douches who are known for scoring wherever they can get some.
