I?m so glad when I correctly predict the outcomes of some of these celebrity relationships. Naomi Campbell?s relationship with married Russian billionaire Vladimir Doronin was always going to end, and it was always going to end badly for Naomi. First of all, they were together for five years and he never managed to get a divorce from his wife. Second of all, Naomi waved around a giant ring and kept telling everybody (including Oprah!) that they were engaged. Third, Naomi moved to Russia to be with him. Yeah. It was always going to end badly. And now it has. According to Page Six, they are ?taking a break? and Vlad is already out partying in New York, probably with a long line of models at his beck and call.
Supermodel Naomi Campbell?s five-year relationship with her Russian billionaire boyfriend, Vladimir Doronin, is on the rocks, sources exclusively tell Page Six.
We?re told the pair, who have been dating since 2008, ?have been taking a break? as the British beauty?s career continues to soar with her TV show ?The Face? a hit in the US and taping in the UK, while she also appears in a sizzling shoot on the cover of Vogue Brazil.
Doronin was noticeably not with Campbell as she attended numerous Oscar parties in Hollywood in February. The couple were last seen together on the beach in Miami in March.
A source told us, ?Naomi and Vlad have broken up, and he?s been out partying in New York.? A spy added that Doronin was recently spotted at the Rose Bar at the Gramercy Park Hotel, flirting with a blonde.
Another source said, ?Naomi and Vlad have a complex relationship, and sometimes break up and make up.? The source added, ?In many ways their relationship is like a business arrangement. Naomi brings glamor to his hotels and properties, and he treats her extremely well. But they spend a lot of time apart due to work commitments.?
Campbell, 42, threw Doronin an extravagant 50th birthday bash last November in Jodhpur, India, with guests including Kate Moss, Eva Herzigova and Karolina Kurkova. Doronin, who has been building a futuristic mansion for Campbell in Moscow, is expected to be among the guests at her 43rd birthday bash May 22, which is reportedly taking place in Ibiza.
Despite his long relationship with Campbell, Doronin has not divorced his wife, Ekaterina, even though they are believed to have separated in about 1998. Prior to their split, Ekaterina was married to the property mogul for 24 years, and they have a teenage daughter, Katia. Campbell?s rep did not comment. Doronin could not be reached.

Although I didn?t say it at the time, it struck me as odd that Naomi signed on to be a judge (or whatever) on The Face last year. It meant a significant time commitment in America and away from the international parties she loves so much. And it?s not even like Naomi really needs the money ? she?s wealthy in her own right, with or without a reality show. But maybe she was feathering her nest because she finally realized that she and Vlad probably weren?t going to last. Or maybe something else happened? like she beat him with a phone. God knows.
PS? And before the anti-marriage brigade comes in here and starts yelling ?but maybe she didn?t even want to marry him, you are SO DUMB I HATE YOU? ? she went on Oprah and talked about how she wanted to marry him. Her goal was to marry him and in five years? time, he didn?t get a divorce. This just goes to show that even Naomi Campbell makes dumb relationship mistakes.

Sometimes when I?m in ?work mode,? I?m just skimming stories to see if there?s anything worth covering. When I came across Page Six?s top story this morning, my immediate reaction was to chuckle because all I skimmed at first was ?Naomi Campbell? attacked? Paris.? I thought, ?Of course. Of course she attacked the city of Paris. Of course she brought out her bedazzled phone and gave the city of Paris a major beatdown. Because she?s Naomi Campbell!? Alas, that?s not what the story actually is. Naomi was the VICTIM! After years of handing out beatdowns and whoop-asses, Naomi was attacked by unknown assailants in Paris several weeks ago, and she is still suffering from injuries now, weeks after the attack:
Naomi Campbell suffered a leg injury when she was violently attacked and robbed on a Paris street, multiple sources exclusively tell Page Six.
The supermodel was set upon by thugs as she tried to hail a cab and was ?knocked over and robbed,? we?re told. She suffered a torn ligament, and reported the incident to French cops.
One source said, ?It was terrifying. Naomi believes the assailant had been watching her, casing her out, and waited for a moment to strike when she was alone. She was attacked in the street as she hailed a cab, and robbed.
?Her leg was injured as she was violently pushed to the ground. She was understandably very upset and shaken up,? the source said. It is not known what the thugs stole from her, but it?s believed they were targeting expensive jewelry she may have been wearing.
The beauty?s billionaire boyfriend, Vladimir Doronin, immediately flew her by private jet to Vail, Colo., where she was treated by J. Richard Steadman, one of the top orthopedic surgeons in the world and the founder of the Steadman Clinic, which has treated many athletes, including Alex Rodriguez.
Naomi, 42, has been using a wheelchair and crutches to get around following the attack, which happened over a month ago. Our source added she has not spoken publicly about the assault nor told friends, at the request of French police who are hunting down the thugs.
We are also told Doronin has upped security around Naomi, as a precaution.
The model?s spokesman and agent declined to comment. When reached by phone, the Naomi said, ?I am sorry, I do not talk to press, but I am fine.?
Naomi has remained positive since the attack. She has been tweeting inspiring messages and threw a New Year?s Eve bash at her house on Miami?s Star Island. She?s now resting in Miami and preparing for next month?s launch of her TV show ?The Face.?

The only little conspiratorial buzz I have is that I find it hard to believe that Naomi ever, ever rolls without an entourage. You know? I just find it unlikely that she would be alone, on a Paris street, hailing a cab. She is known for rolling with a huge entourage at all times, and I also think it?s kind of bizarre that she wouldn?t have her own car and driver, and that she would be hailing a cab? But if her assailants were watching her for a while, maybe they just struck at exactly the rare moment when Naomi was alone. As for her injury? poor Naomi, and I hope they catch the dudes who assaulted her. At least she?s putting on a brave face. And karma, etc. I feel kind of bad for yelling ?Karma!? about this and truly, no one deserves to be attacked? but honestly, Naomi has a history of beating the hell out of people, so I feel pretty justified in saying it. Karma.
Also, I kind of hate to say this, but over the years, I?ve really grown more and more attracted to Vladimir Doronin. Um? he?s really sexy. And he?s crazy rich. And he?s probably afraid that Naomi is going to beat the hell out of him one day too.

Somebody?s going to get a bejeweled phone right in the kisser! And it will be preserved in all its glory on reality television. Yes, mega-diva Naomi Campbell is set to STAR in a new Oxygen reality series called The Face. Naomi?s role in the show will be as one of three ?supermodel coaches? – although Naomi is the only one who has been cast as of yet. Seriously, what self-respecting supermodel is going to sign on to play second-fiddle to Naomi?s unchecked ego and violent tendencies? They should call this show Who Wants to Be the Victim of a Felony Assault? Or The Face… That Is About To Get Smacked.
The NBCUniversal-owned cable network has tapped Naomi Campbell to star in The Face, a reality competition revolving around teams of models going head-to-head to become the spokesperson for a national brand.
Campbell will serve as one of three supermodel coaches, responsible for molding, nurturing and transforming contestants similar to another NBCUni property, The Voice. Campbell and the two other yet-to-be announced coaches will select their contenstants from a worldwide search before guiding them through weekly assignments.
“The Face is a fresh new series that delivers all the elements our audience craves: fashion, beauty and drama,? said Rod Aissa, senior vp original programming and development and Oxygen Media. “Oxygen has been looking for the next ideation in the modeling genre and this project delivers it.”
The Face comes as the female-skewing network has committed to increasing its original programming by 50 percent and joins the network that has been home to Tyra Banks’ America’s Next Top Model.
For her part, the series marks Campbell’s latest small-screen gig, following guest spots on scripted series including The Cosby Show and New York Undercover.
The Face, which does not yet have a premiere date, hails from Shine Media, producers of The Biggest Loser and Tabatha Takes Over, among other properties.
The Oxygen order comes 10 days after the CW’s flagship Top Model franchise saw the departure of three longtime faces in Nigel Barker, Jay Manuel and J. Alexander, who have been with the fashion series since its early days.
ANTM has been a valuable unscripted property for the network that has struggled with the reality genre. The series premiered earlier this year to a dismal 0.6 demo rating, down 45 percent year-over-year.

There?s another aspect to this, of course – Naomi has watched her contemporaries – Heidi Klum, Elle Macpherson, Tyra Banks, etc – find new careers on these reality shows. Naomi is one of the few supermodels from the 1980s who still regularly appears on magazine covers – just AS A MODEL. I feel like this is Naomi crying ?uncle? – she wants what the other girls have. Another layer to her career.
And yet another layer – what happened to living in Moscow with her still-married fianc? Did that not pan out the way Naomi was hoping? Will her relationship with Vladimir Doronin survive if Naomi has to be in LA or NYC for six months at a time?

Naomi Campbell?s fianc, Vladimir Doronin, is a married man. He?s been married to a woman named Ekaterina for 24 years, although there is lots of evidence to suggest that Vlad and Ekaterina have been separated for more than a decade. The only thing standing in the way of their divorce, I?m assuming, is religion and money. As in Doronin doesn?t want to shell out half of his multi-billion-dollar fortune to his wife, and Ekaterina hates the idea of divorce (or so it?s said). This has left Naomi in a weird position for years: she gets to be Doronin?s official girlfriend, she moved to Moscow to be closer to him, they vacation together and they walk the red carpet together, but at the end of the day, Doronin still spends the holidays with his wife and their daughter. Add to the crazy mix the fact that Naomi claims she and Vlad are ?engaged? – and she even has an enormous ring to show for it. So? it?s sketchy. Naomi might be one step closer to marrying the Russian, but sources close to the couple say she is devastated because Vladimir and Ekaterina had been separated for ten years before she started dating him in 2008. He had a seven year long relationship with another woman before he met Naomi.
?Naomi is pleased that Ekaterina has finally agreed to give Vladimir a divorce, but she is upset she is planning on blaming her for the marriage breakdown. She is no homewrecker,? says a friend. ?The truth is that Vladimir had been separated from her for a very long time when he and Naomi got together.?
Ekaterina has been married to 49-year-old property mogul Vladimir for 24 years and they have a daughter, Katia, 15. His wife is believed to want a substantial slice of his huge fortune.
Ekaterina has said of her husband?s romance: ?It?s a ridiculous affair. Vladimir is married to me and we are still a couple. Naomi is deluding herself if she thinks she can take my husband.?
Naomi, who is the face of Vladimir?s property company, started dating the tycoon ? dubbed the Russian Donald Trump ? after meeting him at the Cannes Film Festival.
?Vladimir and Naomi are very much in love and are happy together,? says a friend. ?But this is going to cause them both a fair amount of stress. It?s ridiculous that Naomi is being dragged into this.?
Naomi has left the UK to set up home with Vladimir in Moscow and is said to be taking lessons in Russian. He gave her Van Cleef black earrings two years ago, but has yet to propose. A spokesman for Naomi last night declined to comment.

I might feel a little bit sorry for Naomi? if she wasn?t such a nasty piece of work. As it is, I?m wallowing in schadenfreude because I always thought Naomi was being played. I?m not even sure I believe that Ekaterina will end up divorcing Vladimir. She?ll drag this out for years? and Naomi will either have to wait it out, or she?ll just end up leaving. Some say that Naomi doesn?t even care about getting the ring – but I disagree. She?s in Moscow, acting like she already got the prize. She wants to marry him. So I suspect she?ll just wait it out.

I?ve lost count of how many times Naomi Campbell has flown into a diva-rage and physically assaulted some random person. I want to say the number is somewhere between ?six? and ?eleventy billion?. The difficulty is getting a hard number is that A) she really does assault a hell of a lot of people and B) Her married boyfriend started paying people off so they wouldn?t sue Naomi or charge her with assault and C) WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?!?! Previously, Naomi claimed that she would stop beating people once she turned 40. Forty came and went and she?s still a violent terror who will shove a blood diamond down your throat at a moment?s notice. And now the Mail has some quotes from Naomi?s latest television interview (on CNBC on Wednesday), and Naomi is still pulling excuses out of her ass for her history of violence.
She is one of the world’s highest paid and highest profile supermodels but is equally as famous for her furious temper. Naomi Campbell revealed in an intimate interview how she is still struggling with her anger issues and claimed that although she is not completely free of her infamous temper, she is a ‘work in progress.’
The in-depth interview will be broadcast on Wednesday on satellite and cable TV and shows a calmer more reflective side to the fiery model. 41-year-old Campbell is asked during the programme if she has finally ended her sporadic attacks and tantrums.
She replied: ‘Work in progress. I?ve apologised, accepted responsibility, I did my community service.’
On the show, CNBC Meets, Campbell speaks of her personal battle against cocaine and said: ‘The challenge was to go back and face things I hadn?t dealt with, [it?s] scary for anyone to go and look at themselves in the mirror and deal with them, leave that baggage there and move forward.’
She continued: ‘I didn?t feel good. I didn?t want to work. I lost many friends. I was emotionally and physically drained. I don?t look back on it in a negative way. That was my calling, my path…?everyone?s path is different.’
In 2000 Naomi was found guilty of hitting her assistant with a phone and in 2007 she completed community service in New York for assaulting her housekeeper with a customized jewel encrusted mobile phone. The supermodel faced further court drama in 2008 when she attacked a police officer at Heathrow airport during a row after she lost a bag.
As a result she was banned by British Airways and was again ordered to do community service. Despite her troubled past the Streatham born model claims she has no regrets and added: ‘There?s no reason for doing that. It?s more like seeing or understanding a pattern you have to break.’
One possible reason that she gives for her bad behaviour is ‘abandonment’ issues due to her father who abandoned her mother Valerie when she was pregnant with Naomi.
Music producer Quincy Jones, who Naomi calls Poppy, has been a father figure to her for many years and he said: ‘For a long time I was trying to get to the bottom of what was bothering her. Just recently I said, ?What is really wrong?? She said, ?Poppy, abandonment? … a girl has to have that relationship with her father.’
Campbell says of her relationship with Nelson Mandela: ‘He?s been an amazing inspiration. Even when I?ve done wrong ? and I know I?ve done wrong ? I could go to him and never feel condemned by him.’

Naomi Campbell has been all over Cannes in the past week. I think it?s an annual thing for her - she party-hops, yacht-hops, gets wasted, etc. For this Cannes, however, Naomi threw one of her ?Fashion for Relief? runway shows in which designers and models donate their time (and clothes) for humanitarian crises (this particular show raised money for Japan). Naomi always gets people to turn out, because, seriously, when Naomi asks you to do something, you?re going to do it right? You might get maimed by a diamond-encrusted cell phone if you don?t. My point? I can?t bash her for organizing these ?Fashion for Relief? shows - they?re always big shows and good events for raising money.
What was more notable to me was that Naomi?s married lover/fianc was on her arm throughout all of the festivities. Vladimir Doronin, who is still technically married, walked red carpets and partied with Naomi night after night. I?ve asked this before, and I?ll ask it again: will Vlad ever divorce his wife? Will Naomi ever be anything more than the girlfriend/mistress? They?ve been together for more than three years now, and I have to say that I think Vlad probably loves her crazy ass. But these are the first photos of them where he?s tossed aside his stoic demeanor. He looks? sexy. I would shack up with that.
