Taking care of her daily duties, Jennifer Garner showed up at her daughter Violet's school in Santa Monica yesterday afternoon (April 15).
The ?Catch and Release? actress looked cool and casual in an army green puffer vest with skinny jeans and sunglasses as she collected her youngster and walked back to her car.
Over the weekend, Jen took Violet along with siblings Seraphina and Samuel on a shopping spree and lunch outing for some family bonding.
As for their favorite free time activity, Garner told press her kids love to read books- ?We love A Series Of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. My daughter Violet is so into the series, she talks about the Baudelaire kids like they are part of our family. It's a blast!?

Picking up some morning fuel, Jennifer Garner grabbed a cup of Joe and a smoothie from Starbucks for herself and husband Ben Affleck on Wednesday (April 10).
The "Butter" star looked cute in a purple and black striped sweater, blue jeans, and brown boots as she carried out the drinks to her hubby in the car.
As the 40-year-old actress heads back to work this summer, Ben is preparing to get back in shape to switch to primary caretaker of their three children.
On Monday, the "Argo" star told People, "Jennifer is going back to work and she told me to go to the gym."

Enjoying an afternoon out with her girls, Jennifer Garner headed to the Farmers Market in Pacific Palisades, CA on Sunday (April 7).
Accompanied by daughters Violet and Seraphina, the ?Dallas Buyers Club? cutie browsed the fresh fruits and veggies, letting her little ladies sample the offerings.
Once all the shopping was done, a pony ride was in order for her delighted younger child, as mom and big sis looked on.
Satisfied with their purchases, and worn out from all the activity, fresh air, and sun, the trio headed back on their way home.

Jennifer Garner was interviewed in Britian’s Telegraph to promote the UK release of The Odd Life of Timothy Green, which is out there on Friday. (I lived in Europe for a while and it’s maddening how long it takes movies to premiere.) It’s a nice, long interview and profile, which is what the British press excels at. The interviewer must have had a good rapport with Garner, or maybe she was just ready to spill her guts, because she seemed to open up about a lot of things: the paparazzi, her husband’s controversial Oscar speech, and how it feels to be a celebrity.
Note that some of the interview is translated into “Brit speak,” they have her say “mum” instead of “mom” and some of it is phrased in a distinctly British way that makes it sound made up. Keeping herself busy in the acting front, Jennifer Garner is in talks to join Ivan Reitman's upcoming film ?Draft Day.?
According to Variety, the ?Odd Life of Timothy Green? star would play the secretary of Kevin Costner?s football general manager character.
A comedy, the film is follows the general manager of the Buffalo Bills and his great lengths to secure his top pick in the NFL draft.

With arms laden with her daughter's things, Jennifer Garner dropped off Violet Affleck at daycare in Pacific Palisades, California on Monday (April 1).
The "Butter" star smiled at her little one in a gray hooded sweatshirt, black warm-up pants, and white sneakers while her happy girl donned a Pink sweatshirt and gray skirt.
Recently, the 40-year-old wife of Ben Affleck spoke to The Telegraph about family life and being a working mom.
Sharing how they divide their time, Jen says, "I definitely work less because Ben is so busy but we have three kids, that?s just part of the deal. I want to be a mum. I?m happy for him that he?s as energised about work right now as he is. He should be out there doing it. That's just what makes sense for our family."

Just the day before, Garner was pictured picking up her daughters from karate class in Santa Monica, and last week the happy Tinseltown family cheered on Violet at her basketball game and even made a fun trip to the farmer's market.
