It?s always exciting when Tinseltown honors its own, and last evening (January 26) Jennifer Garner headed over to Beverly Hills for the 24th Annual Producers Guild Awards.
All decked out in a swanky ensemble, the ?Catch and Release? star hammed it up for the shutterbugs outside the Beverly Hilton Hotel prior to the main event.
And while actors and directors tend to get most of the recognition during awards show season, the PGA Awards focus on the unsung heroes of the entertainment industry- the producers!
Tonight ?American Horror Story,? ?The Dust Bowl,? ?Game Change,? ?Hatfields & McCoys,? and ?Sherlock? are all up for The David L. Wolper Award for Outstanding Producer of Long-Form Television.

Always on the go, Jennifer Garner was out and about on Wednesday (January 23) in Brentwood, CA.
Clad in maroon suede pants and a black sweater, the ?Butter? beauty dropped her girls off at school before heading out on some errands.
In career news, the mom-of-three is continuing work on her next film ?Dallas Buyers Club? alongside Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto.
Loosely based on the life of a drug addicted, womanizing, homophobic who gets diagnosed with AIDS, the film is expected to hit theaters later this year.

These are just some cute photos of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner out with their daughters separately. Garner was seen out with their oldest, Violet, 7, yesterday. The two went out shopping in Santa Monica, at Fred Segal, and they also went to get a haircut for Violet. That adorable little girl always looks so happy in photos. I especially love the first photo below where she’s making a silly face. Also, check out her cute Pink striped animal hoodie hat! Her glasses, hat and sundress are all perfectly coordinated.
I like Jennifer’s casual style here, she looks really pulled together with those skinny jeans, cream boots and matching knit sweater. She looks super comfy and stylish. She also matched her Prada clutch to the look. (I couldn’t go out with just a clutch personally, I need to have a big purse for all the mom crap I carry, particularly the tech stuff.)
We also have some photos of Ben out at the Farmer’s Market on Sunday with Violet and Seraphina, who turned 4 earlier this month. This reminds me that Ben and Jennifer’s son, Samuel, turns one on Sunday. (I mean I was reminded when I checked wiki to make sure I was getting the girls’ ages right.) I can’t believe he’s nearly one already! It seems like just a few months ago that Jennifer gave birth.
Ben had a new interview and profile in the NY Times last week in which he graciously responded to the news that he had been snubbed for a Best Director Academy Award nomination. He said “We got nominated for seven Oscars, including best picture. If you can?t be happy with that, your prospects for long-term happiness are pretty sad.” He also recounted his career trajectory, which he seems to bring up at every turn, and talked about how he met the real CIA Agent whom he portrayed in the film, Tony Mendez.
Incidentally, some outlets are claiming that Ben’s vanity casting may have cost him an Oscar nod. Vanity Fair points us to an article on Fox which claims that a gratuitous shower scene, in which the audience is treated to an unnecessary scene of Affleck’s tight abs, may have turned off Academy voters. Affleck did the exact same thing in The Town – he included a shirtless workout scene of himself. An article in Vulture [via VF] pointed out that all the other actors in Argo looked like their real-life counterparts, except for Affleck, who is taller and hotter than the guy he plays. I don’t see a problem with that, but maybe Affleck should have cut the shower scene if he wanted to be taken more seriously. I mean I’m not complaining, but the scene in The Town really stuck out for me as not jibing with the story.

Checking some items off her to-do list, Jennifer Garner ran errands in Santa Monica on Wednesday (January 16).
The ?Odd Life of Timothy Green? star wrapped up in a black-and-white checked blouse under a black blazer as she toted her purchases along with her.
Joining Jen for the afternoon was her daughter, Violet, who enjoyed mom's full attention while the duo playfully palled around.
Ms. Garner and the fashionable youngster finished their day together with a trip to the local park, where the proud parent sported a sticker on her forehead.

Jennifer Garner went unconventional for the Golden Globes red carpet. My prediction (which I made to myself, because whenever I talk about Garner, people yell at me) was that she would look nice but she would go super-conservative so as to not overshadow her man. But she went much bolder than I was expecting with this red Vivienne Westwood gown. I love Westwood, and I like the idea of this on Jennifer, although I think the fit was off slightly on the top. But the skirt moved beautifully when she was onstage, didn?t it? And she got lots of PDA from her husband, which? good for her. He?s usually so surly when he?s around her, so it was nice to see her get some public love from Ben.
Amanda Seyfried wore Givenchy. I hated it on general principle, because I hate lace dresses on a red carpet. It was bridal-fug. And I didn?t understand why she wore a tie-clip on her chest??
When Kristen Wiig was doing the awards circuit last year, a lot of complained that she hadn?t really found her style identity yet, and she swayed back and forth from glam to goth to hipster and everything in-between. It looks like she might have settled on a look at this point ? as a carbon-copy of Jennifer Aniston. Seriously, I thought this WAS Aniston. Same hairstyle (bedheady, down, perfectly arranged to look unarranged), same kind of dress that Aniston always wears (black, minimalist, with cut-outs). It was ridiculous. Her dress is Michael Kors, by the way. It?s just? basic. Total Aniston. Also: her presenter-duty with Will Ferrell was GREAT.
Was it just me or was Kate Hudson, like, a non-entity on the red carpet last night? Barely anyone is talking about her today and it?s like she wasn?t even there, which never happens! Maybe after years of going to the opening of an envelope, Kate has finally worn out her welcome? Hunh. Anyway, her dress was Alexander McQueen. I wasn?t crazy about it.

With big sister Violet headed back to school, Seraphina shopped with mommy Jennifer Garner on Wednesday (January 9) in Pacific Palisades, California.
The "Alias" star was dressed down in a long-sleeved gray top and navy sweatpants as her 4-year-old showed she was not in the mood for photos by covering her face with the black hood on her sweatshirt.
Just the day before, it was Violet's turn for some retail therapy, as she was spotted out with Jennifer at the Grove in West Hollywood.
The lucky 7-year-old even got to go to the American Girl store, where she emerged engrossed in a book as her mom carried the bag full of new goods.

Gearing up for the Mayan Calendar?s end of the world, Jennifer Garner stopped by a local Starbucks caf for a trio of piping hot libations this morning (December 21).
The ?Butter? babe looked to be in good spirits as she exited the Brentwood, California establishment and sipped one of her coffee beverages, not the least bit concerned about the coming apocalypse (whoops, the Mayans were wrong!).
And while Jennifer usually keeps pretty busy with her successful film career and motherly duties, she?s no doubt looking forward to some time off this Christmas.
Garner and her husband Ben Affleck will celebrate the holidays with their daughters Violet and Seraphina, and son Samuel.

After sharing breakfast with daughter Seraphina earlier in the day, Jennifer Garner took her eldest daughter, Violet Affleck, out for an early dinner at Louise's in Brentwood, California on Monday (December 17).
The "Alias" star looked cute in a gray sweater, blue jeans, and black boots, as Violet tagged along while they picked up coffee and a pastry to go from Cafe Luxxe afterwards.
Recently, the 40-year-old actress' handsome hubby, Ben Affleck, shared some high praise for his lovely wife and mother of his three children.
The "Argo" star gushed, "There are two things for a marriage to be good. One is to work hard on it. The other one is to marry above you. And I succeeded at both of those."

On a break from shooting "Dallas Buyers Club" in New Orleans, Jennifer Garner was in Brentwood, California taking her daughter to breakfast at the Brentwood Country Mart on Monday (December 17).
The "Alias" star wore a navy overcoat, Pink scarf, and blue jeans, while Seraphina tagged along in a Pink coat and green skirt.
The Monday morning fun is an extension of her fun-filled weekend with her 3-year-old and 7-year-old Violet.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, on Saturday they headed to a party dressed in brightly-colored princess outfits followed by a trip to Disney on Ice.
