Here are some photos of Taylor Swift performing in Louisiana last week. Her tour has started, and I think she?s organized it a lot like her Red Tour, which is to say that Tay-Tay is mostly performing in clusters on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and then she has the rest of the week off. It?s a pretty smart way to tour, especially if you?re a big pop star and you have your own plane and everything. Taylor did an interview with BBC1 this week where she talked about how ?easy? it is to be a touring pop star. Sure?
Being a pop star is really not a bad gig?just ask Taylor Swift! The ex-country singer, 25, told BBC Radio 1?s Nick Grimshaw that touring the world “is not that hard. I’m telling you now it’s really not?Sometimes I really don’t think it’s that hard at all?When I was starting out I’d go on tour for three months and I was gone for three months. Now almost 10 years in, thank God we get to play bigger shows so I don’t have to play as many. If we’re playing stadiums, I’ll do two or three a week, not five shows a week, then I get to fly home in between. It’s not that bad.”
But while Taylor thinks the globetrotting life of a pop star is “made out to be harder than it is,” there is one part she struggles with…As she told BBC Radio 1, “I do have to leave the cats behind when I leave the country, which is the hardest part.”
But Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson surely understand their mama’s got a job to do! Taylor loves this gig, too. “That’s the best part of this [touring], when you walk off stage and you’re drenched in sweat and you’re tired and your legs hurt,” she said. “It feels like you’re really working for the job. It’s nice to feel tired after a show. I’m like ‘Oh my God, I’m finally doing something.’”
And how does Taylor reward herself for all this hard work? With some TV time, of course! “I really like the feeling of: ‘You know what? I’ve been busy. I deserve this watching two hours of TV at the end of the night.’ I like Friends because I’ve seen every episode, so it’s like switching my brain off. I know exactly what they’re about to say.”

Taylor should watch cooking shows when she wants to turn her brain off. That?s what I do ? I find cooking shows so relaxing, even when they?re not making food that I particularly want to eat. The Barefoot Contessa is probably the best one to watch after a busy day. But yes, reruns are great for relaxing too.
As for Taylor and how she finds touring so easy these days? a few points. One, from what I understand, Taylor isn?t doing really crazy, intensive dancing like some other pop stars (Beyonce). But unlike some pop stars (Britney), I believe Taylor is attempting to sing most of her songs live. Does she have backing tracks? I?m sure. But she actually is trying to give her fans a live experience. Now, all that being said? of course it?s ?easy? to be a touring pop star when you only do two shows a week, everything is expertly managed and you have a private plane to fly home after every show. I wonder who takes care of Meredith and Olivia while Tay is gone?

Adding another accolade to her massive list of accomplishments, Taylor Swift now has the record for most VEVO views in 24 hours for her new video for ?Bad Blood.?
Within the first day of its release, the clip nabbed 20.1 million plays, and since then that number has climbed to a whopping 37.8 million views.

Do you find Taylor Swift sexy? I do not. I would even argue that she comes across as purposefully sexless, like she?s still aiming for a mostly wholesome image because she knows many of her fans are still pretty young. But beyond her wholly created image, I don?t really find her that sexy in general. She?s cute sometimes, and occasionally she?s stylish and pretty. But sexy? Meh. Then again, I think women like Rachel Weisz and Angelina Jolie are sexy.
In any case, Maxim readers disagree. Maxim has just named Swifty as their #1 sexiest, hottest lady. She?s #1 on their annual Hot 100. I don?t think Maxim really did her justice with the editorial though ? I ?get? that Maxim likes their ladies damp, but Swifty looks like someone dabbed some lip gloss on an environmental refugee. How it feels to be #1 on the Hot 100: ?It?s really nice and such an incredible compliment. This year has been my favorite year of my life so far. I got to make an album exactly the way I wanted to make it. I got to put it out exactly the way that I dreamed of putting it out. Every one of these kinds of whims and ideas came to fruition. The videos?I?m proud of those, I?m proud of the tour, I?m proud of the way this has all happened. In the midst of all that, this is really nice. It really feels like a wonderful celebration of my favorite year.
Becoming more vocal about feminism: ?Honestly, I didn?t have an accurate definition of feminism when I was younger. I didn?t quite see all the ways that feminism is vital to growing up in the world we live in. I think that when I used to say, ?Oh, feminism?s not really on my radar,? it was because when I was just seen as a kid, I wasn?t as threatening. I didn?t see myself being held back until I was a woman. Or the double standards in headlines, the double standards in the way stories are told, the double standards in the way things are perceived. A man writing about his feelings from a vulnerable place is brave; a woman writing about her feelings from a vulnerable place is oversharing or whining. Misogyny is ingrained in people from the time they are born. So to me, feminism is probably the most important movement that you could embrace, because it?s just basically another word for equality.

Oh, Swifty. I feel like her feminist journey is still ongoing, that she hasn?t made it to the feminist promised land yet. Because feminism to Swifty is still ?people make jokes about my blind item songs and that?s misogyny!? No, sweetheart, it is not.
Speaking of blind item songs, her relationship with Calvin Harris is still full speed ahead, which genuinely surprises me. I thought they would be over by now, especially since Swifty is going to be on the road for the rest of the year. But E! News says that they?re really tight (she?s been staying with him at his Hollywood Hills home) and they were all over each over at the Billboard Music Awards.

Here are some photos of Taylor Swift out last night at Katsuya. She was having a girls? night with some friends, perhaps trying to sway the conversation away from Calvin Harris and boys altogether. The other girl in these photos is Fifth Harmony?s Camila Cabello. Swifty?s outfit here is cute, right? Her casual style has improved so much in the past year and a half. However, I think her hair situation is backsliding. I feel like she got a haircut recently and she asked for MOAR BANGS. And it?s just not working.
As for the continuing situation with Calvin Harris? I don?t know. Last we heard, he was in Nashville with her for several days and ?sources? claimed that it was totally on. They even kissed each other in public! But Calvin did not join Swifty in LA and who even knows where this is going? Well, sources tell Hollywood Life that Calvin is ready to change his ways for Swifty. Maybe.
While Taylor Swift, 25, and Calvin Harris, 31, have yet to confirm their relationship, it?s pretty obvious that major sparks are flying between the two musicians once they were spotted holding hands while hanging out in Nashville. Now, a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that Calvin wants to do whatever it takes to make sure Taylor won?t be writing a breakup song about him!
?Calvin has enormous respect for Taylor, and he?s been incredibly gentlemanly towards her so far in their courtship,? a source explains to HollywoodLife.com. ?For that reason, her friends, knowing full well about his past reputation, are going to give him the benefit of doubt and trust him with Taylor. There?s no doubt that Calvin has always had a long stream of female admirers. He?s also been a bit of a player in the past ? but he wants to do the right thing by Taylor.?

Eh. I don?t think Calvin is some crazy womanizer. He?s probably more of a serial monogamist, jumping from one relationship to the next. But yeah, when he?s ?single,? I bet he gets around. And I still think it?s a good idea for Swifty to deal with this sort of guy, even if it is just a short-term thing. She usually goes for twee, cutesy dudes. Calvin is different.

Here is Taylor Swift accepting the Artist of the Year award during the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
Swift was definitely the biggest winner of the night, nabbing Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Lyrics before the iHeartRadio curtains closed.
“More than anything in the world I hope all the fans who are watching know that I adore you,” Taylor said while accepting Artist of the Year. “I’m so proud of the fact that, having done this for ten years now, putting out albums, we’ve gotten closer and closer each year…I just love you, I will see you on the road, you guys.”
