All of the Swiftlunatics are in a tizzy about this, and for the life of me, I cannot understand why. Like, I romanticize Swifty?s relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal and I totally believe that Swifty had a ?meltdown? when she saw him at a Globes party on Sunday, because she has a history of freaking out on Jake at industry parties. But Tay-Tay?s relationship with Harry Styles? I don?t know, I guess I don?t really care. I cared about them when they were together. I cared when he dumped her and she stalked him for a bit. But I actually believe that they?re on somewhat friendly terms these days. So maybe that?s why I?m not seeing the drama in this video. Swifty and a group of friends ran into Harry and some of his friends. Taylor barely acknowledged him?
This was in the lobby of the Sunset Marquis on Wednesday night. Here?s the thing: Swifty is such a bad actress, I totally understand her thought process here. She knows that Harry Styles, her ex-boyfriend, is there. She?s assessed his proximity, which is why she quickly puts her head down and acts like her phone is giving her life. Don?t look up. So focused on the phone. Don?t acknowledge him. Someone is tweeting something very important. Quick glance to see where he is, give him your best angle. These text messages are epic. SO important. Oh, hey, eye contact with my ex. No biggie. Look at friends. Glance back to phone. Glance back at him. And eye-flick that says ??Sup.? Walk away. Middle School Dramz!
That?s just my reading. Harry would have said a proper hello to her if she had done a little more to acknowledge his presence. But hey, we?ve all played that game before, haven?t we?

Here are some photos of Taylor Swift in LA yesterday, heading to the gym. Do you know what I look like walking into my gym? I?m a mess. I?m almost wearing black sweats, a black mega-sports bra, black t-shirt and my kicks. I?m carrying my gym ID, a water bottle and I have my iPod in my pocket. And you should see what I look like coming out of the gym ? same outfit, only I?m drenched in sweat, with my hair plastered to my face. Swifty never has those kinds of gym moments. She swans into the gym in heels and a babydoll dress, drinks a smoothie and gossips by the treadmills, spends a few minutes primping in the locker room and then she walks out of the gym.
As we dicussed following the Golden Globes, Taylor might have had a ?mini meltdown? at one of the Globes afterparties when she saw her ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal ? go here to read the first version of the story. Soon after that version of events was published in Us Weekly, both Us Weekly and People Magazine published stories about how Swifty was NOT having a meltdown and she was actually speaking to Jake like they were still on friendly terms. Do you really believe that? Hm. Meanwhile, Star Magazine has another ?scandal? from the Globes parties: Swifty was possibly peer-pressuring Lorde to drink alcohol!!!
She?s only 18 years old, but that didn?t stop Lorde from sipping on rum and cokes after the Golden Globe Awards ? and it?s all because of her BFF, Taylor Swift! An eyewitness at HBO?s Golden Globes after party saw the 25-year-old pushing her underage bestie to drink, and when the gals headed over to the Weinstein Company?s party, the peer pressure continued.
?Taylor was drinking rum and coke and then switched to Meiomi wine,? the source tells Star. ?And she was feeding her rum and coke to Lorde!?
According to the insider, Taylor told the ?Yellow Flicker Beat? singer she didn?t have to drink if she didn?t want to, but gushed that, ?Rum is so good!? And once Lorde took a sip of the concoction, she ended up ordering one of her own!
The witness also notes that while Taylor was mixing her alcohol, she ate very little, even when a serve brought In n? Out burgers to the table! ?Everyone ate except Taylor,? the source claims. ?She only picked at hers and barely ate any of it.?

That?s the new storyline with the tabloids, to point out how little Swifty is eating these days. For what it?s worth, she has lost some weight. But I don?t believe she?s starving herself. I am willing to believe that she?s going through a partying phase though. I think she likes having a group of girlfriends and going out on the town and having some drinks. I doubt it?s some huge problem. As for Swifty telling Lorde to try her rum and coke? rum and coke is the gateway cocktail, I swear. It does taste good! Rum & Diet Coke is good too, but it has more of a bite. And it makes you want to drink other rum-based cocktails. MOJITOS! My guess is that Lorde had tasted alcohol before, and a few sips of rum & Coke for an 18-year-old at a Globes party is practically quaint.
And finally, here?s a nice Swifty story. Swifty sent a $1,989 check to a Swiftloonie to help with her student loan debt. Aw. That is really nice.

Before this year, I had no idea that every single radio station held ?Jingle Balls? for Christmas and that major musical stars turned out. It seems like every weekend, there are like four Jingle Balls (BALLS!) in various cities. Anyway, these are some photos of Taylor Swift at Z100?s Jingle Ball (this is like the third Jingle Ball she?s attended), plus some photos of Swifty at the Billboard Women of the Year event on Friday. I?m not crazy about either outfit, although that shade of purple looks great on her.
Taylor celebrated her 25th birthday on Saturday, although she?s been partying and enjoying early-birthday stuff all week. At the Billboard event, Aretha Franklin even sang to Tay-Tay. If you remember correctly, Aretha threw some magnificent shade at Taylor last month when Aretha was asked about her directly. Aretha?s only comment about Taylor? ?Great gowns, beautiful gowns.? But all is forgiven, I suppose.

Joining forces for some Yule Tide fun, Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner helped their gal pal Gigi Hadid decorate her apartment for the holiday season.
The ?Shake It Off? singer and the ?Keeping Up with the Kardashians? cutie looked to be having fun as they hung some lights while Ms. Hadid filmed a video clip. Gigi uploaded the footage to Instagram along with the caption, "First day of snow that sticks means TIME TO PUT UP LIGHTS @emmasittig !!!! On Tuesday night (December 9) Taylor and Kendall attended a viewing party for the 2014 Victoria?s Secret Fashion Show, so it looks like they?re becoming good buddies!

Given the massive success of her new album 1989 and all of the media fanfare surrounding her, it?s no wonder Taylor Swift caught the eye of Time magazine. As the popular publication put together the 2014 Person of the Year shortlist, the ?Shake It Off? songstress ended up near the top.
Also in the running for the coveted title are Apple CEO Tim Cook, the Ferguson protesters, NFL?s Roger Goodell, Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Ebola caregivers.

Here are some photos of Taylor Swift at the Victoria?s Secret show in London this week. When I covered some of these Swifty photos earlier this week, I noticed (but didn?t say anything) that she seemed especially small in the pics. Swifty has always been a long, lean girl ? she?s all arms and legs, and she really does have a model-type figure. But in these photos? yeah, she looks like she?s lost some weight. Considering she?s been on the promotional trail to shill her album, one theory might be that she?s simply under a lot of stress, plus she?s really busy, thus she?s lost some weight. Another theory might be this Star Mag story. ?Sources? claim that Swifty has actually been trying to slim down to a ?sub-zero?.
Taylor Swift?s startlingly thin figure has New Yorker doing double takes!
?Taylor has always had the appetite of a sparrow, but ever since she moved to New York she?s become fixated on her body image. She used to be a size zero, but she?s dropped down to a sub-zero. Her frame looks so fragile these days? it?s to the point where thigh is hardly thicker than her calf muscle.?
Factors contributing to 24-year-old Taylor?s increasingly skeletal physique are numerous ? from the bad influences in her social circle to her own dangerous mind-set ? but it doesn?t seem like anyone in her inner circle cares to confront her about it.
It?s all about the image: ?Taylor?s terrified of looking fat in a picture, so her way of dealing with that is to be underweight? but the really worrying thing is how much emphasis she puts on food. She?s always talking about her baking and stocking her pantry with fresh muffins and bagels, but she never eats a bite of it. It?s all for her guests ? so can give the image of someone who eats a lot.?
What she lives on: Coffee and salads. ?She?ll add protein here and there, or have a piece of toast, but she rarely eats a proper meal. Some people are worried that she may even become anorexic.?
Workouts: ?Taylor has convinced herself she?s building muscle because she?s using weights, but she?s not eating enough to actuall put on muscle. If anything, her workouts are burning away muscle.?
Supermodel friends: ?Taylor sees her supermodel friends as the standard of beauty and wants to live up to that.?
Party girl: ?Taylor has turned into the ultimate party girl. She regularly hosts wine nights at her house where she and her girlfriends will stay up until 6 am drinking and gossiping.?

Judging from the photos of Swifty leaving her NYC gym, I?ve never really thought she was breaking a sweat with her workouts anyway. I think she just goes to the gym for the photo-op, because she wants to be seen as a cool, normal New York girl who goes to the gym. As for the ?living on salads and coffee? thing? could be. It could be that all of the cookie-baking is all for show. I don?t know though. My instinct is to defend her, mostly because I think she?s always had and always will have that long and lean body type, and she has been stressed lately. Cut her some slack!
