Here is your Open Post for this evening?s Grammy Awards. Our hostess for this year?s Grammys? Open Post is Taylor Swift and her onesie. Chica loves a onesie. She loves showing off her legs, which is fine because she has great legs. But her love of onesies is exhausting. These are photos of Swifty at Clive Davis? pre-Grammy gala on Saturday night. The onesie is by Osman Studio, and you can see the runway look here. It was supposed to be a bit slouchy and Taylor had it tailored so it fit like a glove. Eh. It?s literally called a ?playsuit.? Oh, and her hair and makeup are pretty bad here.
I actually think tonight?s show is going to mostly be about the music, right? There?s no giant stunt queen performance, unless you count Madonna shilling her new album ? she?s reportedly going to open the show, which should be interesting. But other than that, it really feels like this year, people are simply excited for the performances and duets and such. Swifty isn?t performing ? she was too busy rehearsing for her tour, so she won?t perform any of her blockbuster hit singles. But she will be there in the audience, dancing and singing along with all the songs.
We?ll have full Grammy fashion coverage starting bright and early tomorrow, plus we?re also going to have full BAFTA coverage too. Personally, I?m more excited about the BAFTA coverage, but that?s because I LOATHE Grammy fashion. Still, it will be interesting to see Madonna, I guess? And Beyonce and Jay-Z.

Here are some photos of Taylor Swift out and about in Hollywood on Tuesday and Wednesday. She had two costume changes for the paps, and both costumes involved legs for days. If I had Tay-Tay?s legs, I would be showing them off too. But I worry about her miniskirts. That brown suede mini is WAY too short. I?m assuming she has, like, bloomers or hot pants on underneath, because how could she not? How can you wear a skirt that short and not be constantly worried that your butt is literally hanging out?
So, what?s up with Swifty this week? Lots. This week she became the second woman in history to have TWO albums on the top of the Billboard charts for ten weeks. The first was Whitney Houston. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you feel about Swifty?s live performances), Swifty will not be performing any of her hit songs at the Grammys on Sunday. She wrote on her Tumblr this week:
Hey guys! A lot of you have been asking about the Grammys this week and I just wanted to give you an update. I?m really excited to be nominated for 3 Grammys this year and even more excited that I?ll be there having a dance party/rage fest in the audience. I will also be presenting the award for Best New Artist. Since my whole life is wrapped up and entangled in the planning of The 1989 World Tour right now, I?m not going to be performing on the Grammys this year. I need this time to focus only on the tour.
I hope I?ll see you out there at one of the stadiums this summer having a rage fest of your own!

I don?t think there?s any conspiracy with this. I believe her ? she?s prepping her tour and Swifty?s tours are very important to her (and that?s how she makes most of her money too), so she didn?t have the time or energy to put together a Grammys performance. But she?ll be there, dancing in the audience.
Last story: you know how Taylor applied to trademark ?This Sick Beat?? Yeah. Well, people are freaking out about it and one punk musician named Ben Norton wrote a protest song using phrases from Swifty?s album, like ?This sick beat,? ?party like it?s 1989? and ?cause we never go out of style.? You can hear his song here. The New Yorker also ran a hilarious parody of other phrases Swifty could try to trademark, like: ?Welcome to Newark?; ?I Am an American Citizen?; ?My Name is Hillary Clinton, and I Approve This Message?; ?How Did You Get This Number??; ?Taylor Gyllenhaal?. YES!!!

All of the Swiftlunatics are in a tizzy about this, and for the life of me, I cannot understand why. Like, I romanticize Swifty?s relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal and I totally believe that Swifty had a ?meltdown? when she saw him at a Globes party on Sunday, because she has a history of freaking out on Jake at industry parties. But Tay-Tay?s relationship with Harry Styles? I don?t know, I guess I don?t really care. I cared about them when they were together. I cared when he dumped her and she stalked him for a bit. But I actually believe that they?re on somewhat friendly terms these days. So maybe that?s why I?m not seeing the drama in this video. Swifty and a group of friends ran into Harry and some of his friends. Taylor barely acknowledged him?
This was in the lobby of the Sunset Marquis on Wednesday night. Here?s the thing: Swifty is such a bad actress, I totally understand her thought process here. She knows that Harry Styles, her ex-boyfriend, is there. She?s assessed his proximity, which is why she quickly puts her head down and acts like her phone is giving her life. Don?t look up. So focused on the phone. Don?t acknowledge him. Someone is tweeting something very important. Quick glance to see where he is, give him your best angle. These text messages are epic. SO important. Oh, hey, eye contact with my ex. No biggie. Look at friends. Glance back to phone. Glance back at him. And eye-flick that says ??Sup.? Walk away. Middle School Dramz!
That?s just my reading. Harry would have said a proper hello to her if she had done a little more to acknowledge his presence. But hey, we?ve all played that game before, haven?t we?

Here are some photos of Taylor Swift in LA yesterday, heading to the gym. Do you know what I look like walking into my gym? I?m a mess. I?m almost wearing black sweats, a black mega-sports bra, black t-shirt and my kicks. I?m carrying my gym ID, a water bottle and I have my iPod in my pocket. And you should see what I look like coming out of the gym ? same outfit, only I?m drenched in sweat, with my hair plastered to my face. Swifty never has those kinds of gym moments. She swans into the gym in heels and a babydoll dress, drinks a smoothie and gossips by the treadmills, spends a few minutes primping in the locker room and then she walks out of the gym.
As we dicussed following the Golden Globes, Taylor might have had a ?mini meltdown? at one of the Globes afterparties when she saw her ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal ? go here to read the first version of the story. Soon after that version of events was published in Us Weekly, both Us Weekly and People Magazine published stories about how Swifty was NOT having a meltdown and she was actually speaking to Jake like they were still on friendly terms. Do you really believe that? Hm. Meanwhile, Star Magazine has another ?scandal? from the Globes parties: Swifty was possibly peer-pressuring Lorde to drink alcohol!!!
She?s only 18 years old, but that didn?t stop Lorde from sipping on rum and cokes after the Golden Globe Awards ? and it?s all because of her BFF, Taylor Swift! An eyewitness at HBO?s Golden Globes after party saw the 25-year-old pushing her underage bestie to drink, and when the gals headed over to the Weinstein Company?s party, the peer pressure continued.
?Taylor was drinking rum and coke and then switched to Meiomi wine,? the source tells Star. ?And she was feeding her rum and coke to Lorde!?
According to the insider, Taylor told the ?Yellow Flicker Beat? singer she didn?t have to drink if she didn?t want to, but gushed that, ?Rum is so good!? And once Lorde took a sip of the concoction, she ended up ordering one of her own!
The witness also notes that while Taylor was mixing her alcohol, she ate very little, even when a serve brought In n? Out burgers to the table! ?Everyone ate except Taylor,? the source claims. ?She only picked at hers and barely ate any of it.?

That?s the new storyline with the tabloids, to point out how little Swifty is eating these days. For what it?s worth, she has lost some weight. But I don?t believe she?s starving herself. I am willing to believe that she?s going through a partying phase though. I think she likes having a group of girlfriends and going out on the town and having some drinks. I doubt it?s some huge problem. As for Swifty telling Lorde to try her rum and coke? rum and coke is the gateway cocktail, I swear. It does taste good! Rum & Diet Coke is good too, but it has more of a bite. And it makes you want to drink other rum-based cocktails. MOJITOS! My guess is that Lorde had tasted alcohol before, and a few sips of rum & Coke for an 18-year-old at a Globes party is practically quaint.
And finally, here?s a nice Swifty story. Swifty sent a $1,989 check to a Swiftloonie to help with her student loan debt. Aw. That is really nice.
