She?s a crazy cat lady in the making, and Taylor Swift wound up on the wrong side of her feline friend Meredith?s claws over the weekend.
Referring to the rumor that she has her legs insured for $40 million, the ?Blank Space? songstress posted a photo of her scratched-up limb via Instagram, along with the caption, "GREAT WORK MEREDITH I WAS JUST TRYING TO LOVE YOU AND NOW YOU OWE ME 40 MILLION DOLLARS.?
Later in the day, Taylor covered her injury with a bandage that read ?meOW? and told her social media followers, "Couldn't help but make it into a pun, could I?"

Taylor Swift may have insured her legs for $40 million. Eh. I wrote about it a few weeks ago, when I read the original story in the National Enquirer. Since then, every major outlet has picked up the story and acted like it?s totally for sure. Taylor Swift did not confirm or deny it, which is interesting. She denies all the dating rumors, but not the insurance rumors? Hm. So maybe she did insure her legs? I have no idea. But if she did, her kitty Meredith owes her a lot of money. The 2015 BRIT Awards opened with a bang last night thanks to Taylor Swift.
The ceremony, which was held at London?s O2 arena on Wednesday (Feb. 25), began with the 25-year-old belting out her hit single, ?Blank Space.? She switched out of her awe-worthy red-carpet dress and slipped into a more stage-friendly, tuxedo-style jumpsuit for her performance. In true T-Swift style, the show ended with an explosion of glitter.
Shortly after her jaw-dropping performance, she was presented with the International Female Solo Artist award. ?I have been coming to England and playing shows for eight years and this is my first BRIT, and I?m so happy,? she gushed. ?My British fans have also changed my life."
