Here are some photos of Jessica Simpson out on 3/26 and she looks incredible. You can really see the difference in her face in that it looks thinner and more angular. Star Magazine estimates that she’s lost 20 pounds in a couple of months already, and it’s definitely possible. (They have a comparison photo from early January.) We know she’s been working out and dieting, although she’s trying to downplay how important it is to her. Good for her for getting healthy for her wedding, which may or may not happen soon.
Star claims that Jess is doing “up to six 100 minute-sessions” of cardio and strength training and that she’s eating 1,600 calories a day. That sounds too sensible for someone working with Tracy Anderson.
There’s another story about Simpson in this week’s tabloids that cracked me the hell up. The Enquirer reports that she was at the DMV recently and got told off by an employee when she asked for special treatment. That one deserves repeating:
“Jessica didn’t want to sit with the average Joes who were ahead of her. So she went to the front desk [of the DMV in Hollywood] and asked in a low voice if she could have access to a private room while waiting for her number to be called,” an eyewitness divulged…
“The no-nonsense female staffer answered Jessica in a loud, forceful voice, saying, ‘Miss Simpson, we didn’t do that for the governor and we certainly aren’t doing it for you!” the eyewitness revealed.
The 30 year-old former reality star… went back to her seat and the verge of tears and played the diva role to the hilt until her name was called two hours later, the source added.
“Jessica pouted and scowled as she sat with her arms folded and stared straight ahead, kicking her foot,” said the eyewitness. “But hopefully she learned two big lessons - everyone gets treated the same way at the DMV and next time, make an appointment!”

I have a dumb question - can you make appointments at the DMV? You must be able to in California I guess, but I’ve lived in other states on the east coast and you can’t make an appointment at any of the DMVs I’ve known. Of course they were smaller and easier to deal with than the DMVs at bigger cities.
I love how that DMV clerk was all “the governor doesn’t even get special treatment, sit down!” It’s a bitch to go to the DMV but there’s no escaping it. I do dream of a day in my life when I’ll never have to go through airport security again though. That’s ten times worse than the DMV and it lasts a fraction as long.

She's known for tweeting everything she's doing right down to her bedtime prayers, but Jessica Simpson says the next time she ties the knot it just might be in secret!
The 30-year-old, who is engaged to former NFL player Eric Johnson, has revealed she's open to marrying her man in on the down-low ? and says there's no wedding date set as yet.
"We've both been married before. We're enjoying our commitment to each other. We want to take our time ? We might elope if it gets to that point."
Jessica, who has said in the past that she wants a simple wedding and possibly to be married by Christmas 2011, also revealed there's one talented fashion mogul who will definitely have a hand in designing her wedding dress ? herself. She told, "I will be part of designing my own wedding gown."

She?s been cranking out signature looks since Fall 2005, and Jessica Simpson recently shared her favorite articles from the collections over the years.
The ?Come On Over? songstress began her list with a pair of flair-legged jeans that are as practical as they are stylish.
Of the jeans she explained, ?These Vintage Flares are my favorite ?go to? jeans- they fit great. We do them every season.?
Simpson also talked up one of her purse designs. ?I wore this Tempest handbag in every color a few seasons back. the bright color is perfect for spring.?
And what cowgirl would be complete without some boots? ?This is the first cowboy boot we ever did, and the inspiration came from my vintage red cowboy boots that I wore in my video, ?These Boots are Made for Walking.?

Finished up with her visit to the east coast, Jessica Simpson readied for an outbound flight from JFK Airport in New York City on Friday (March 25).
The "Dukes of Hazzard" darling wore a big smile on her face as she toted her designer bag through the terminal after tending to a few business meetings in the Big Apple earlier in the day.
The sighting comes as Miss Simpson continues to expand her business empire - as she recently announced plans to release "flipper" heels.
Of the odd-looking aqua-blue flippers with stiletto heels, Jess tweeted, "Scuba gear coming soon for @jscollection heels for every occasion ;)"
She's also among the rumored possibilities to fill a judge slot in the new US version of "The X Factor" - with Paula Abdul and Taylor Momsen among the other mentioned names in the running.

Ever since Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson announced their engagement, there have been constant rumors about the difference in their bank accounts, and what, if anything, Jessica was going to do to protect her assets from Eric?s potentially gold-digging ways. There have been mixed signals, but I believe that the last we heard, Joe Simpson and Jessica were in agreement that she would definitely need a pre-nup to protect her billion-dollar empire. And now Star Magazine has the alleged details:
Money talks before Jessica Simpson walks - down the aisle, that is! Her ultra-hands-on dad, Joe Simpson, is making sure Jess?s $1 billion fashion empire will be preserved after she weds her fianc, ex pro football player Eric Johnson - and Star has the details of the iron-clad prenup Joe has in the works with his attourneys.
?Eric is on what you might call a vesting plan,? an insider tells Star. ?He?ll get $500,000 as a wedding present. Then, on each anniversary, he?ll get another $200,000. Is he and Jessica make it to five years of marriage, he?ll get an additional $500,000 bonus - and a $1 million bonus is they make it to 10 years.?
Not that Eric is hurting for spending money while he waits to marry Jessica: ?They already have a joint checking account,? adds the insider, ?and Jessica also gave him his own high-limit Visa Black Card and an American Express Platinum card!?

I believe that Jessica already gave him credit cards, and access to one of her checking accounts, just like I believe that Eric is already on her payroll. I?ll also buy that Eric has agreed to sign a pre-nup, but I don?t believe these terms. There?s no way Jessica would be stingy with the current love of her life! And there?s no way Eric would settle for a paltry $200,000 yearly bonus, either. Two hundred thou is probably what Eric is charging just to put up with Jessica?s constant farting.
But seriously, why all this drama about the pre-nup? You know that as soon as Jessica pops out a baby, she?s going to get all lovey-dovey (and dumb) and tear up whatever pre-nup they have.

This one story has made me respect Jessica Simpson. It?s probably not true, as it comes from In Touch Weekly, but I really, really hope there?s a grain of truth in here. According to ITW, Jessica Simpson?s dong-haze has worn off and now she?s looking at Eric Johnson and thinking, ?Gee, I wonder if I could do better than this K-Fed mofo.? Apparently, Jess hasn?t set a wedding date, and she changes the subject whenever the wedding is brought up, all because Eric has been annoying the fart out of her.
Jessica Simpson didn?t hesitate before saying ?yes? to her boyfriend of barely six months, Eric Johnson, when he proposed in November. But four months later, she still can?t commit to a date.
?I don?t think she?s in any hurry,? her father, Joe, confirms to In Touch. And that could spell big trouble for the couple.
?Whenever her wedding comes up, she changes the subject,? says a friend.
What has caused her to hit the brakes?
?She feels stressed and overworked,? an insider close to Jessica tells In Touch. ?She travels almost every week and has a lot of people who depend on her. She is not feeling as excited as she should be about getting married.?
But the more Jessica stalls the wedding, the more needy Eric seems to get. Every time they?re out in public lately, he holds her as close as possible. And while Jessica was once more than happy to lean on Eric, his clinginess is now killing their once-hot romance.
?She used to be so into Eric,? notes the insider. ?But they are together all of the time, and it?s starting to annoy her.?

I would love it if Jessica turned to Eric and asked, ?Dude, why don?t you have a job?? But she won?t. She?s already put him on her payroll and he travels with her constantly. I?ve begun to think of Eric like I think of Matthew Rutler, Christina Aguilera?s ?handler/boyfriend?. Both Eric and Matthew are basically just their ladies? assistants, go-to sexual partners and designated drivers. I think their main job description is ?don?t let the girl get too wasted, and when she does get blitzed, take her home.? Ah, romance.
I like to think that Jessica?s thought process, below, is ?Bitch, did I say you could speak??

She?s always been super close with her family, and Jessica Simpson credits her billion dollar fashion empire to her mom, Tina.
?I absolutely could not do this without my mom,? the ?Come On Over? singer said. ?I appointed her as creative director and we definitely do it together.?
?I?m in most of the meetings, but if I?m off doing my music stuff I can always count on my mom to be in every approval meeting and make sure that everything is cohesive and brand-appropriate. I couldn?t do it without her,? Jess continued.
In other news, word has it, Ms Simpson is working with celebrity fitness trainer, Tracey Anderson, in order to get in shape for her upcoming nuptials to fiance, Eric Johnson.

When she closed her eyes what did she see? A baby! Jessica Simpson has babies on the brain!
The 30-year-old told her Twitter followers this Sunday (March 13), "Dreamt that I had a son named Tenacious D... That was a strange one."
Simpson, who got engaged to former football player Eric Johnson in November, has never been shy about wanting to have children.
Last year while on "The View," Jessica told the ladies of the popular daytime talk show: "I can't wait to have kids. If I don't have kids by the time I'm 40, my best friend Ken Paves and I are going to have children."

This photo might be my favorite photo ever of Jessica Simpson and her K-Fed, Eric Johnson. I like what it says about the couple. Jessica looks kind of drunk, and her attention is being pulled to something else (probably something shiny). Meanwhile, Eric is diverting her, while simultaneously grabbing her purse. It says a lot.
Anyway, these are new photos of Jessica and Eric in London and New York. They were in New York for several days while Jessica had some business meetings - and Eric came along to those meetings, just because. Then she flew him to London, where I think Jessica is doing press for her clothing line. Apparently, they?re staying at Claridge?s, and last night they went to Whiskey Mist and partied and drank until the wee hours of morning. According to the British papers, Whiskey Mist has a dress code. Jessica wore torn jeans - not the kind of ?elegance? the British wanted in their establishment, but still, they let her in.
