Farty McMallHair was ?awarded? the ?Style Icon of the Year? Award by Us Weekly, you may remember. And last night, Us Weekly had a big event in which celebrities actually showed up and took home awards. Shocking. Anyway, this is Jessica on the red carpet. She looks? um?oh, dear. CB?s first comments were about Jessica?s hair. It?s pretty bad. You remember that Jessica and her BFF hair stylist Ken Paves broke up, right? Well, since Ken left Jessica, her hair was actually looking better for a while. And then this happened. Jess must have found a new hair person with Ken?s tacky-ass style. As for Jessica?s dress and her body? I can?t tell if the dress is slimming (how could it be??) or if Jessica has just lost weight. Her body looks good, I think. I just wish she would stop slumping and lift up her head. She must be exhausting keeping all of that mall hair up.
When Jess got up to accept her award, she managed to fart out some shock:
?Style Icon of the Year, really? I’m not really that stylish, like to be honest with you. Like I wear my fianc’s Yale hoodie and a pair of sweat shorts that have been cut off, and Uggs, and Hanky Pankies, little pair of panties, you know? I’m not really that stylish, but I do know how to make a woman look beautiful, and when I want to look great, I know how to make it happen.”

Jesus, did she really go up there and talk about her panties? Jessica, girl, you need to stop talking about burping and farting and picking your nose and your drawers while you?re in public. You are gross.

She?s never one to miss out on a fabulous shindig, and last night (April 26) Jessica Simpson was spotted at the 2011 Us Weekly Hot Hollywood Party.
The ?Angels? songstress was all smiles as she arrived at Eden in Hollywood, sporting a multi-colored minidress with black heels.
Earlier this week, Jessica and her fiance Eric Johnson returned to the West Coast via LAX International Airport.
Ms. Simpson, who was named Us Weekly?s Style Icon of the Year, shared, ?I have the best job in the world! This year, I?ve taken time for myself to enjoy being engaged and in love and being a businesswoman instead of an entertainer. It?s really helped the collection!?

Through this one in the same pile as Jennifer Lopez winning ?Most Beautiful? of the year from People Magazine - Us Weekly has named Jessica Simpson their ?Style Icon of the Year? of the year. For. Real. They?re not just talking about her fashion lines - which, admittedly are doing very well. They?re talking Jessica Simpson as a Style Icon, because she wears stuff like reindeer leggings (which were pushing their limit), translucent muumuus, and torn jeans to fancy restaurants. But? I have to say, Jessica?s interview with Us Weekly is kind of cute. She uses a phrase that I?m totally going to steal. Take it away, Farty!
Describe your style.
JS: Very laid-back, with hints of flash. I love to wear denim with a corset, or the opposite: a flannel shirt over a dress. Even if I?m walking around my house in Uggs and my favorite yummy sweater, I still have on a headband or something cute.
Looking back, was there a risk that didn?t work?
JS: High-waisted jeans are a risk for me - I?m short! They don?t work unless I?m wearing major platforms and something flattering up top, but not a high collar. If I don?t show my collarbone, I skew uni-boob. We have some high-waisted jeans coming out that I might try. But it does make me sweat, I have to say!
Who are your favorite designers?
JS: Donna Karan for evening, Alexander McQueen for spring and summer. I?d love to gift myself something from Etro, like a caftan. I love H&M, and Topship for lower-end, trendy pieces.
Is Ashlee one of your style advisors?
JS: My sister can put anything on and it works. My curves are a challenge. I have to be more conscious of what I?m wearing so I don?t look like a complete tool. Ashlee is a rock star!
Will you help design your wedding dress?
JS: I think every bride wants to be involved in that. I?m still trying to figure out what we?re going to do about all of the plans. We have four dates floating around - we both have huge families, so I think it?s going to end up being big!
What makes you feel sexy?
JS: Eric brings out my womanly side. Being loves - even when I?m blowing my nose - makes me feel sexy. Though I wouldn?t say that you have to have a guy to feel sexy. I just own myself more now that I have someone to love for the rest of my life.

I LOVE ?If I don?t show my collarbone, I skew uni-boob.? I feel the same way! It?s like? once your boobs get to a certain size, you can really no longer wear high crewnecks or turtlenecks. You just look like a really heavy, mono-boobed blob. You have to show some skin up top just to look and feel normal. Oh, Jessica. I love you for that quote. I also loved the obliviousness of ?High-waisted jeans are a risk for me.? Um, REALLY? Because historically, most of Jessica?s fashion disasters have started with high-waisted jeans, and it has nothing to do with her being short and everything to do with her thicker abdomen. Whatever, Farty!

Jessica Simpson waddled her way into People Magazine’s Annual Most Beautiful issue, with a caption above her photo announcing it the “Year of the Bombshell.” I think that’s a typo, though. It’s clear from the picture that they obviously meant to write “Year of the Butter Pecan Ice Cream Cone.”

Jessica Simpson’s photoshopped picture is on the PEOPLE Magazine’s Most Beautiful of 2011 but a picture doesn’t give quotes so they had to go to the real Jessica and asked her about her breasts. Here’s what she has to say.
Being well-endowed since sixth grade, the blonde bombshell points out that “there’s no way to hide them as much as you want to bandage your boobs down.” Simpson, 30, has since learned to embrace her chest as her “best accessory,” telling PEOPLE, “Now I can make my way in and out of parking tickets: Show the girls and give a wink!”
You mean five years ago when she was hotter, right? Because the only way she gets out of parking tickets with them now is if the cop sees donut crumbs and powdered sugar sitting in her cleavage.

She and fiance Eric Johnson are still looking for the perfect date for their wedding, but Jessica Simpson says she?s already begun the planning process.
The ?With You? songstress, who performed at Coors Field last night for military families along with Michelle Obama and Jill Biden, confessed she?s excited about tying the knot.
"I am planning a wedding, I mean I'm starting to. I hadn't started until two days ago, I was like 'okay, I'm going to jumble around three dates before the end of the year and see what fits for everybody in my life.? So we'll see what happens, but I know that I'll definitely be married by the end of the year."
Jess also shared her joy for being able to participate in the special military event. "I am very honored and very blessed to have been asked by Mrs. Obama herself to come here and to help launch this initiative, which I believe in so much. So I'm so glad that I was one of the people she chose to stand in support for this."

Giving a very special performance, Jessica Simpson was spotted singing for military families in Denver, Colorado last night (April 13).
The ?Come On Over? songstress showed up at the Colorado Rockies vs. New York Mets game at Coors Field to pay tribute to the men and women who serve this country.
Simpson was joined by First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden, who organized the whole shindig.
Jessica told press, ?The First Lady asked me to sing for the troops. That's a huge honor for me. Just to be there and show my support and say thank you.?

Here are some photos of Jessica Simpson out on 3/26 and she looks incredible. You can really see the difference in her face in that it looks thinner and more angular. Star Magazine estimates that she’s lost 20 pounds in a couple of months already, and it’s definitely possible. (They have a comparison photo from early January.) We know she’s been working out and dieting, although she’s trying to downplay how important it is to her. Good for her for getting healthy for her wedding, which may or may not happen soon.
Star claims that Jess is doing “up to six 100 minute-sessions” of cardio and strength training and that she’s eating 1,600 calories a day. That sounds too sensible for someone working with Tracy Anderson.
There’s another story about Simpson in this week’s tabloids that cracked me the hell up. The Enquirer reports that she was at the DMV recently and got told off by an employee when she asked for special treatment. That one deserves repeating:
“Jessica didn’t want to sit with the average Joes who were ahead of her. So she went to the front desk [of the DMV in Hollywood] and asked in a low voice if she could have access to a private room while waiting for her number to be called,” an eyewitness divulged…
“The no-nonsense female staffer answered Jessica in a loud, forceful voice, saying, ‘Miss Simpson, we didn’t do that for the governor and we certainly aren’t doing it for you!” the eyewitness revealed.
The 30 year-old former reality star… went back to her seat and the verge of tears and played the diva role to the hilt until her name was called two hours later, the source added.
“Jessica pouted and scowled as she sat with her arms folded and stared straight ahead, kicking her foot,” said the eyewitness. “But hopefully she learned two big lessons - everyone gets treated the same way at the DMV and next time, make an appointment!”

I have a dumb question - can you make appointments at the DMV? You must be able to in California I guess, but I’ve lived in other states on the east coast and you can’t make an appointment at any of the DMVs I’ve known. Of course they were smaller and easier to deal with than the DMVs at bigger cities.
I love how that DMV clerk was all “the governor doesn’t even get special treatment, sit down!” It’s a bitch to go to the DMV but there’s no escaping it. I do dream of a day in my life when I’ll never have to go through airport security again though. That’s ten times worse than the DMV and it lasts a fraction as long.

She's known for tweeting everything she's doing right down to her bedtime prayers, but Jessica Simpson says the next time she ties the knot it just might be in secret!
The 30-year-old, who is engaged to former NFL player Eric Johnson, has revealed she's open to marrying her man in on the down-low ? and says there's no wedding date set as yet.
"We've both been married before. We're enjoying our commitment to each other. We want to take our time ? We might elope if it gets to that point."
Jessica, who has said in the past that she wants a simple wedding and possibly to be married by Christmas 2011, also revealed there's one talented fashion mogul who will definitely have a hand in designing her wedding dress ? herself. She told, "I will be part of designing my own wedding gown."
