Pushing forth with overseas press duties, Julia Roberts attended the 58th San Sebastian International Film Festival in San Sebastian, Spain on Sunday (September 19).
Decked out in a fancy Lanvin frock, the "Pretty Woman" actress hammed it up for photogs while joined by co-star Javier Bardem.
The red carpet duties come just ahead of the pair's new flick's September 22nd release date for French theatres.

Fortunately, on yesterday?s WTF-is-Julia-Roberts-wearing post, very few of you yelled at me. Thank you. It was a terrible outfit, and Julia should have rethought the whole thing. But now that I?m taking that outfit with the whole scope of her promotional duties in Rome, I?m thinking that Julia wanted the one-two punch of wearing something so hideous that when she wore this fabulous dress, we would all be paying attention. Because I kind of love this black gown that Julia wore to the Eat, Pray, Love Rome premiere last night. Is it matronly? Sure, a little bit. But it makes her look like a movie star, and it compliments her tall figure so well. Also: she doesn?t look pregnant anymore. I told you, she?s not pregnant, she just has horrible style and an unwillingness to dress for her body type - most of the time.
Of course, she is kind of hiding her belly in most of these shots. Do I have to rethink my ?that?s not a baby bump, y?all? stance? I tried to throw in some shots where she?s kind of in profile to see if she has a bump? it could be. Or it could be a pasta belly. Or it could be a ?I?ve had three kids and I hate Spanx, bitches? belly. It could also just be the way she carries herself - like a truck driver. Shoulders back, people. Also note this - no major media outlet is doing any kind of Bump Watch with Julia - I really don?t think she?s knocked up. I think it?s pasta and the truck driver stance. Also: her hair still sucks.

I get that Julia Roberts is a ?dirty hippie?. She?s a Hindu, you know. She has the beads and everything. In my mind she smells like Patchouli, day-old foundation and butterscotch. Of course I know that Julia has never been stylish - generally, she doesn?t seem to give a sh-t about being a fashionista, or using the red carpet to her advantage. I kind of admire that, because it makes me think that Julia is like, ?People will come to see the movie because of me, not because of what I wear to the premiere.? So, with that in mind, I present to you Julia?s latest outfit on the promotional tour for Eat, Pray, Love.
Now - I already know that some of you are going to be like ?Oh, that outfit is cute, you?re a dumb whore, Kaiser.? True. But think about this - this is Julia in Rome, one of the major cities featured in Eat, Pray, Love. There are Eat, Pray, Love tours full of Julia-loving women coming through the city right now, waiting in line anxiously for their gelato. This isn?t just film promotion - it?s the motherload of cross-promotion. You?d think that Julia would really bring it, wouldn?t you? Even if she was just classing the sh-t up with a really gorgeous suit. But no, instead we get Julia in leggings, dominatrix sandals and a glorified muumuu, with a THAT?S SO TACKY belt. Minus the shoes, this is what you wear lounging around the house, or to pick up your groceries. The muumuu?s pattern is disturbing too - it looks really, really cheap. And it?s like a faux crocodile print too, right?
I will give Julia one thing though - her makeup does look really good here. The hair? Not so much. She needs to stop parting it down the middle. It makes her face longer and

Taking their hit film all over the world, Julia Roberts and Javier Bardem were spotted at the ?Eat Pray Love? photo call in Rome, Italy today (September 16).
The ?Pretty Woman? actress was all smiles as she posed next to the ?No Country for Old Men? stud at the St. Regis Grand Hotel.

Julia Roberts sat down for a pretty decent interview with The Telegraph (UK), to promote Eat, Pray, Love. As of this very moment, I have only been able to get through half of the piece because I?m stuck on this one quote: ?It was an endeavor that took me away from my home life so I was proud that that passion was still vibrant in me.? Yes, Julia is farting about her own vibrancy. And she?s saying that making Eat, Pray, Love reaffirmed her own vibrant passion. Are you rolling your eyes yet? Oh, you?ve got to love Julia. The full Telegraph piece is here, and here are some highlights:
On her free time: ?I don?t have the luxury of sitting around any more,? she says. ?I must have had bags of spare time before I had children but I don?t know what I did with it and I didn?t appreciate it. But it?s such a terrific trade-off ? I don?t have time to get a pedicure but I sure am happy. Who cares if your feet look bad??
On her family life: ?Of course my life has changed and I don?t work a lot, so I get a lot of that special time for us to just nurture and cultivate our everyday life and the things we take enjoyment in. But I was never really one to work too much, anyway. I never really did years of movie after movie after movie.?
On her ?commitment? to Eat, Pray, Love: ?For me to make that personal commitment to do that much work and travel to all those places, not alone but with 150 crew and my whole family, really shows how much I still love what I do? It was an endeavour that took me away from my home life so I was proud that that passion was still vibrant in me. The scope is so massive that it was more work than I would normally want to be doing but I was excited about trying to portray my character?s real passion for her life, and for the people in it and for the places she goes to. When it was finished I was really exhausted but I loved every second of it.?
Relating to the spiritual journey: ?I can certainly relate to what she has gone through and there are things in the movie which everybody can relate to: trying to clarify your life and understand your own compass for where you want to go and who you want to be. These are things we all go through and I think you sort of fine tune it every decade of your life: in your twenties, then in your thirties, and then you redefine it again in your forties and fifties.?
Needing to hit the ?reset? button: ?I used to take off on a vacation every year by myself as sort of a reset button to sit and evaluate what had gone by, to read a great book, maybe get a sun tan and, you know, just collect myself. It?s important to do that. You don?t necessarily have to travel, but just take the time for yourself to exhale.?
On doing Broadway: ?That?s a hard place to be, on stage eight times a week. It?s relentless, but it?s also magical and amazing. I would absolutely do it again, for sure.?
On her own spirituality: ?You never stop pursuing greater understanding of yourself and the world, and how you relate to people and how people relate to you. That has to keep moving. It?s a definite aspect of my family life and more than anything else, a constant sense of gratitude is really the spiritual foundation of my daily life. I?m so grateful for everything? my family, all the opportunities I?ve had, the enriching relationships. Just everything.?

So she didn?t come across like a sanctimonious bitch in this interview, which is kind of disappointing. I prefer Julia when she?s being a bitch, honestly. She?s more fun! I dislike the Oprahified Julia where she?s farting about spirituality this and vibrancy that. BORING. You know that?s just what she says to pass the time before she bitches someone out. THAT’S SO TACKY.

She?s always up to something, and earlier today (August 19) Julia Roberts was spotted at the premiere of ?Eat Pray Love? in Tokyo, Japan.
The ?Pretty Woman? actress looked lovely as she arrived at Roppongi for the big event, sporting a gold long-sleeved dress with matching heels.

Enjoying her first visit to Japan, Julia Roberts was spotted doing some press duties in Tokyo earlier today (August 18).
The ?America?s Sweethearts? babe looked lovely as she attended a promotional event for ?Eat Pray Love? at the Ritz Carlton Hotel.
During her interview, Julia explained that though her new project has a very spiritual theme, she doesn?t talk about her own beliefs very often.
Roberts said, "I've realized something my mother told me 22 years ago. You're an actor, act. Don't talk about politics or religion."

Continuing on her massive publicity tour, Julia Roberts was spotted arriving in Tokyo, Japan earlier today (August 17).
Joined by husband Danny Moder, the ?Pretty Woman? actress looked to be in good spirits as she strolled through Narita International Airport ahead of the premiere of her new film ?Eat Pray Love.?

As the fall season approaches, everyone is looking for some last-minute end-of-summer action- and that?s just what ?The Expendables? had to offer over the weekend.
The Sylvester Stallone thriller fared quite well in its opening weekend, scoring a respectable $35 million so far.
Coming in at #2 was Julia Roberts? ?Eat, Pray, Love? with $23.7 million, giving Roberts her highest opening weekend numbers since 2001?s ?America?s Sweethearts.?
And in third place for the weekend was ?Scott Pilgrim vs. the World? with an anemic $10.5 million, vastly under what was expected, especially considering the warm welcome it received from Comic-Con goers.

After months and months of promos and advertising, ?Eat, Pray, Love? starring Julia Roberts hits theatres today (August 13).
Per IMDB?s website, the film is about a happily married woman (played by Roberts) who is trying to get pregnant and realizes her life needs to go in a different direction after a painful divorce, and decides to take off on a round-the-world journey.
The movie is based on the memoir by Elizabeth Gilbert and of Julia playing her in the film, Ms Gilbert told press, "It's hard to imagine that it could have been anybody but Julia because she's so loveable, and you need to care about the character to want to watch her go through all that. She's good at making people care about her."
And of Elizabeth, Julia tells, ?I relate to her search and her pursuit. But, it was definitely great to have a fulfilled sense of my own life. To play some of these scenes and come home to my family and to know it?s all good, was perfect.?
?Eat, Pray, Love? opens in theatres today (August 13).
