While most of struggle to find the time for an hour fitness class, former reality star and plastic surgery poster girl Heidi Montag claims she’s been spending 14 hours a day working out. It’s not like she has anything else to do. Heidi explained to US Weekly that she’s been frantically exercising to drop the weight she gained while convalescing post surgery. She was preparing for her gig hosting a party at Wet Republic in Vegas this Saturday. Heidi was probably hoping to be the only hostess, but she was joined by Hugh Hefner’s would-be bride, Crystal Harris, for a double (quadruple) helping of silicone, collagen, fake tan and bleach. If Crystal’s wedding would have gone through as planned she would have been there instead of in Vegas getting paid to party. Poor Heidi had to share the spotlight. Here’s what she said about her fitness regime, which sounds ridiculous:
Before she slipped back into a bikini for Saturday’s party at Las Vegas’ Wet Republic — the last time she was photographed in a two-piece was April 2010 — Heidi Montag spent some serious time in the gym.
“I’ve been working out from, like, 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. for two months now. I’ve been working out really hard because I had this pool party and I was like, I have to be in shape,” she told Us Weekly. “And I was actually a lot overweight. It was the most I’ve ever been because I’ve kind of been in hiding eating pie with my husband and puppies, so I needed to get back in shape.”
At her heaviest, the 5?2? reality star claimed she weighed 130 pounds; she’s currently back down to 103. How did the Hills alum lose 27 pounds so quickly?
“I’ve been running a lot, and I’ve been doing weights,” she said. “When you work out, you boost your metabolism, so you have to [make sure you eat enough].”
Montag — who listed pie and fried chicken as her weaknesses — said she’s been noshing on apples, cherries and salads to slim down. After famously undergoing 10 cosmetic surgeries in late 2009, Montag added that decided to take a year off from the gym.
“My breasts, because they’re so big, really needed some time,” she explained. “So I’m just starting to work out again after my surgery. Sometimes I get shooting pains, but I hear that’s normal.”

It’s as normal to have shooting pains in your boobs as it is to get silicone F size breasts and to have your back “scooped out”. Heidi basically has an eating disorder if she’s working out more than half the entire day and eating just some fruits and vegetables. All that obsessive work and she still got overshadowed at her bikini unveiling by Hugh Hefner’s runaway bride. At least she got a paycheck though. The last we heard of her she was flat broke, and I write that with no sense of irony.

Helping to kick off her latest reality show venture,"Famous Foods," Heidi Montag attended the official grand opening of Lemon Basket Restaurant, in West Hollywood last night (May 11).
The former "Hills" star took to the Dolce Group event in a trendy black jacket, ripped blue jeans, and a pair of black peep-toe pumps.
Heidi's "Famous Foods" co-star, Jake Pavelka, recently dished up some details of the show to Ryan Seacrest, telling, ?We closed [the restaurant] Ketchup and re-concepted it, it?s called the Lemon Basket. It?s actually at 8590 West Sunset. We?ve got some comfort food on the menu, we?ve got tuna tartare and some other healthy options too."
You can catch fellow reality restaurateurs, Danielle Staub, Ashley Dupre, DJ PAUL, JUICY J, and Vincent Pastore, when the series premieres this fall on VH1.

She gave the world a nice break from her camera crazy antics for the past few months, but Heidi Montag is back in the media in full force.
The former ?Hills? gal was spotted sipping on an iced tea at Caffe Primo on Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles, CA on Thursday (May 5) while hamming it up for the paparazzi.
In other news, it is being reported that Heidi?s younger sister, Holly, is now dating Justin ?Bobby? Brescia.
After making his rounds with Audrina Patridge and Kristin Cavallari, a source says Ms Montag and the king of grunge have been dating for awhile now.

Trying their best to get their careers back up and running, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt were spotted visiting a friend's home in Pacific Palisades, CA on Friday (April 8).
Walking past paparazzi side-by-side, the former "Hills" stars glanced over at the shutterbugs as they headed inside to spend time with their pals while closing out another week.
The outing comes as Spencer chatted with "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" the previous day (April 7) to confirm that he e-mailed the "American Idol" host's publicist because "Heidi has a gig and I?m around and living right near the station...?I?m trying to change my image and make myself more likable."
As for Miss Montag's gig, the 24-year-old is said to be teaming up with former "Bachelor" Jake Pavelka and "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Danielle Staub for a new television project which would feature the group's effort to open their own restaurant, according to People.

Not one to shy away from the spotlight, Heidi Montag flashed a smile for the cameras as she hit Sunset Plaza in Hollywood earlier today (April 6).
The "Hills" hottie kept it casual during her outing, sporting an orange scarf, gray shirt, blue jeans, and Pink fur boots during the day-beginning excursion.
The 24-year-old is said to be teaming up with former "Bachelor" Jake Pavelka and "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Danielle Staub for a new television project which would feature the group's effort to open their own restaurant, according to People.
Heidi added to the excitement when she took to her Twitter earlier in the week, teasing: "Filming's been great so far. Can't wait to show you all the new show! People keep asking what my new show is about. I say - imagine if Chekhov & Tolstoy wrote for reality TV."

Kicking off her week with a delicious meal out, Heidi Montag was spotted having lunch at Cafe Med in Los Angeles yesterday (April 4).
The former ?Hills? babe was joined by ?The Real Housewives of New Jersey? starlet Danielle Staub, lending credence to the rumors that she?s joined the cast of ?Celebrity Rehab 5.?
Ms. Montag is also said to be working on a brand new reality show of her own, though details are scarce at this point.
Additionally, rumor has it that Heidi may be joining forces with ?American Pie? stud Jason Biggs to write a new book.

She?s always up to something, and last night (April 3) Heidi Montag was spotted at the Geisha House in West Hollywood.
The former ?Hills? babe looked a little less than perfect as she exited the West Hollywood hot spot where she had been filming with former call girl Ashley Dupree and former Three 6 Crew rapper DJ Paul.
And it sounds like Heidi is already causing plenty of drama at the ?Celebrity Rehab? house, after throwing a fit about her room assignment.
Montag was supposed to share accommodations with Michaele Salahi, but had a temper tantrum and producers were forced to rearrange everything.

Unfortunately her disastrous first album sales weren?t enough to keep Heidi Montag from pursuing a career in music.
The former ?Hills? babe has just released a new single called ?Heartbeat,? though it?s not likely to raise many pulses.
Some of her choice lyrics include, "Touch me," she sings. "Let me know. Touch me. I don?t need. You enjoy myself. Enjoy myself to the music. Heartbeat."
Of the new project, Heidi told press, "I put my heart into this music ... I want to become a galaxy star."
Additionally, Heidi?s hubby Spencer Pratt has also contributed to the rap music world with ?I Go To Work,? and hopefully he?s not quitting his day job.
