Here are some photos of Halle Berry at the CBS Upfronts last week ? she was there because she?s doing advance promotion for her new TV series Extant. She looked beautiful, didn?t she? THAT FACE. I?m liking her hair these days too ? for a while there, I thought her hair was too short. She looks better with some longer pieces up front.
Anyway, Halle appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show yesterday to talk about X-Men: Days of Future Past. Ellen of course asked her about baby Maceo and getting pregnant in her 40s. Halle was subdued about it, and I buy that she really didn?t believe she could get pregnant ? Halle said: ?I didn?t think it was possible at my age, honestly. They call it a geriatric pregnancy?I was, you know, on my way. This is probably way TMI, but I was kinda premenopausal, so to have this happen was huge.” Is that really a medical term? ?Geriatric pregnancy? ? and that?s about a woman in her 40s?! Doctors can be so sexist and ageist! Why not call it a ?premenopausal pregnancy? or something less “OMG, let’s call a woman in her 40s geriatric!”
Halle also talks about the different between the way girl babies and boy babies nurse, which is what Ellen found ?TMI? (I kind of agree with Ellen). Here?s the video interview:

Amping up the hype for their upcoming thriller, CBS released a full trailer for "Extant" on Wednesday (April 30).
Starring Halle Berry, the television show follows an astronaut who must reconnect with her family after a year in space.
Steven Spielberg serves as the Executive Producer of the highly anticipated show.
Check out the trailer for "Extant" below, and be sure to tune in at 9:00 PM on July 2 for the premiere.

Working hard to prepare for her journey to the small screen, Halle Berry reviewed her script on the set of "Extant" in Los Angeles on Wednesday (April 9).
The "Monster's Ball" star looked cute in a light sweater, dark jeans, and black loafers as worked with co-star Goran Visnjic.
Recently, the 47-year-old Academy Award winner spoke to People about the latest Steven Spielberg show, saying, "It is like the new golden age of television. As a woman, when I read this, it was such a strong character. I always gravitate toward strong, complicated woman characters. When I heard Steven Spielberg is a part of it, I thought, wow, that is another big reason to be a part of it."
With two kids and her husband at home, Halle notes, "I really wanted to work in town and be with my kids. I no longer can afford to have the gypsy life. There are others who are more important and who I need to think about. This allows me to stay home and still do something really creative and cool that I love."

Halle Berry has been busy lately. I actually kind of wonder if Halle wasn?t a bit cash-poor, because right after giving birth to son Maceo, she signed on to a new TV show, Extant. She?s been filming non-stop for a few months, and sources keep saying that she?s cozying up to Goran Visnjic, her costar. Which means that Halle and Olivier Martinez might be on the outs. But what?s really happening? I have no idea. Halle sat down with Extra and she did discuss Olivier a little bit, but she didn?t say much about the state of her marriage:

Taking a moment to candidly talk about her normally-private personal life, Halle Berry opened up about her growing family during a recent sit-down with "Extra."
Sharing her joy following the birth of her five-month-old son Maceo, the Oscar-winning actress gushed, ?I just feel great because I have another baby. I never thought that at my stage in life another baby ? and a baby boy ? was coming to me, so yeah, I?m blessed.?
Dishing about how her 5-year-old daughter Nahla is adjusting to having a little brother, Halle shared, ?It?s like one of her doll babies came alive. She gets to take care of him, feed him, change his diapers, play with him, dress him up in different clothes like five times a day because she can, so she loves it.?

Halle Berry & Kate Hudson?s relationship dramas cover the new issue of Star Magazine. Hudson?s near-breakup with Matthew Bellamy has already been established, but we haven?t heard much about Halle in a while, right? She?s been suspiciously quiet. I guess most people were just like, ?Eh, she had a baby, there?s probably no drama.? Well, there?s drama. At least according to Star Mag, and now the NYDN.
Let?s do Star first, because I think they broke the story. A story which I have to say has been flat-out denied to Gossip Cop and the NYDN by Halle?s rep. The basic gist of Star?s story is that Halle is ?on the brink of a nasty split? from Olivier Martinez and that their marriage is ?already in shambles? they have been fighting nonstop?things are really bad.? A source tells Star that Olivier thinks Halle has been spending too much time ?working and trying to lose weight and not enough time with their baby.? For Halle?s part, she finds Olivier to be controlling and jealous and she hates that he?s trying to ?tell her what to do.? Halle has been working with Goran Visnjic and Olivier is very, very jelly, according to Star. Halle went to some events on Oscar weekend and she wasn?t wearing her wedding ring. DRAMZ. Now the NYDN reports:
Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are on the fast track to splitsville, a well-placed source tells Confidenti@l. The duo, who announced their engagement in 2012 and married in July 2013 at Chateau des Conde in Vallery, France, have recently been living separate lives, we hear.
Our Hollywood insiders speculate that the reason for the tension is that the pair have drifted apart because of hectic work schedules. Berry is now shooting her new CBS series, ?Extant,? in Los Angeles, while Martinez has been busy working on ?Revenge? in a guest-star role that starts Sunday on the hit ABC show.
Once paparazzi darlings, Berry, 47, and Martinez, 48, have not been seen in public together in months. Making whispers of their split even stronger, Berry was not wearing her wedding ring as the special guest at a post-Oscars party. Meanwhile, Martinez was nowhere to be seen.
The formerly PDA-loving couple were last seen in public together on Dec. 7 looking glum as they took in a performance of ?The Lion King? at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood. Berry and Martinez have a son, Maceo, born in October 2013. Berry also has a 6-year-old daughter, Nahla, from her relationship with model Gabriel Aubry.
Meanwhile, on the work front, a source who was on the set of ?X Men: Days of Future Past,? tells us Berry, who plays Storm, was cut out of every scene but one in post-production. While filming, her role was reduced due to her pregnancy, but it turned out to be more of a cut than was expected.
?She only has one line in the whole movie,? our source says. ?They?re not telling her until the movie comes out.?

Berry?s indecisive flack Meredith O?Sullivan Wasson first told us ?no comment? then reached out later asking to change her answer to, ?This story is completely untrue.? A rep for Martinez didn?t get back to us.

OMG, that detail about X-Men: Days of Future Past is CRAZY!!! Halle was in Canada filming while pregnant, I can?t believe they cut almost all of her scenes. She?s going to be furious. But if she got paid? maybe it wouldn?t be that big of a deal??
Anyway, as for Olivier and Halle? I mean, maybe it?s true, maybe not. My gut says that they?re probably having problems and my gut also says that it?s been a long time coming. If they are splitting up? Olivier better watch his ass. We?ve been telling him this whole time that what Halle did to Gabriel Aubry should be viewed as a preview of how she will handle this breakup.

She didn't make it to the 86th Academy Awards ceremony, but Halle Berry did manage to hit the red carpet at the Fame And Philanthropy Post-Oscar Party last night (March 2).
The Oscar-winning actress donned a slimming black gown and passed a wave along to the photographers before heading inside.
As for the awards, "12 Years a Slave" took home the biggest prize of the night winning Best Picture.
Meanwhile, Jared Leto and Lupita Nyong'o scored the Best Supporting Actor trophies and Cate Blanchett and Matthew McConaughey were both recognized in the Leading Actor spots.

It?s only been four months since she gave birth to her son Maceo and already Halle Berry is back in her pre-pregnancy prime.
Last night (January 29) the ?Swordfish? starlet showed up at the 9th Annual Acapulco Film Festival After Party following the fest?s closing events.
Earlier in the evening, Halle was presented with the Silver Jaguar Award for her accomplishments in the movie industry.
And Ms. Berry looked nothing short of drool-worthy in her sleeveless black dress and flirty cropped coif as she worked her mojo for the cameras.
