As you can see in some of these photos, Gwen Stefani wore a big ring on her left hand as part of her gloved Vera Wang ensemble at the People?s Choice Awards on Sunday. In videos, this might just look like a blur of diamonds, but in these photos, you can see that it just has a cocktail ring vibe, especially with its placement above the glove, you know? But still, because it?s Gwen and because she walked the carpet with Blake Shelton, there were engagement rumors. Gwen shut it down:
Gwen Stefani cant escape these rumors! Whenever the lead singer of No Doubt steps out with her longtime boyfriend Blake Shelton, pop culture fans cant help but keep their eyes on her finger. After all, you never know when a ring will appear. It certainly was the case Sunday night when the Fashion Icon recipient attended the 2019 Peoples Choice Awards at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif. So whats the deal with this weekends piece of bling? Lets have Gwen explain.
It might be a real ring, a real diamond but its not a wedding ring. No, no, the singer shared with E! News Jason Kennedy exclusively. It actually doesnt fit over the glove on this hand so I put it on this hand. But good, right?
Good? More like stunning!

It?s sort of weird to think about, but I get why Blake and Gwen are constantly getting engagement rumors at this point. They?ve been together for years now, they live together (mostly), he?s super-close to her sons. I think Gwen wants to get remarried, and I think Blake adores her. So why aren?t they engaged? I still don?t know. Do you think Gavin Rossdale has an issue with it? Reportedly and take this was a grain of salt Gavin is fine with Blake and he doesn?t mind that the boys are close with Blake. Maybe Gwen really is waiting to get her first marriage annulled. Hm.

Here are some photos from last night?s People?s Choice Awards. You can see the list of winners here they really do not matter at all, but it looked like an okay awards show overall. Better organized than the Critics Choice Awards in any case. Gwen Stefani was one of the few ?A-listers? who actually walked the carpet, as opposed to simply showing up for a few minutes to pick up an award. Gwen walked the carpet with Blake Shelton, and they both picked up awards for their trouble. Gwen?s award was for some kind of ?Icon? something and Blake won for Country Artist of 2019. As fashionable and fashion-conscious as Gwen is, you would think that she would be able to get Blake into a real suit instead of jeans and a vest and blazer. Not so much. Gwen was decked out in Vera Wang, and Blake was? Blake. Also: when Blake won, he said on stage, ?Gwen, I love the sh-t out of you.? Which is sweet!
Pink wore Bella Freud and came with her husband and two kids.
Zendaya is too good for this show! Her dress is Christopher Esber. Very cute and appropriate.
Jenna Dewan in Monique Lhuillier, wow she?s far along. She looks great.
Sarah Hyland in Fausto Puglisi. YIKES on everything orange orange dress, orange lipstick, that?s so wrong.
And here?s Jennifer Aniston winning an award she didn?t walk the carpet. Her black dress was ODD.

Whenever I feel bad about my kid not thinking I?m cool despite my awesome job I think about all the celebrities whose teenagers also don?t consider them cool. I?ve heard this from so many celebrities, but I remember that Liev Schreiber said his kids don?t think much of him, but that he earned dad points when he was on SNL and was able to introduce them to Lil Wayne. (His SNL episode was so good!) So your kids can think your friends or the people you know are cool, just not you. Gwen Stefani was on Seth Meyers recently. He asked how her kids, who are 13, 11 and 5, feel about her music. She said the older two don?t really care about what she does except when she can get them in touch with other celebrities.
On her big break and how she wouldn?t make it on The Voice
We were in the garage for 9 years making music we knew would never get on the radio. Then one day wrote a song called Just a Girl I thought nobody would ever hear and it got on the radio. Anytime anyone listens to my music it just brings me so much joy.
?How do you kids feel about your music??
They don?t really care about me. They ask ?mom do you have Ellen?s [number]? I want to play Fortnite with Ninja.?

Gwen is promoting the end of her Vegas show, which has been running for two years. She got so happy talking about it and clearly loves doing it. I was impressed by that part and with how gracious she was about her fans. She said her favorite part was talking to the audience, which was cute.
Gwen was also on Fallon, where she had on a crazy wig which made her look like Janice from the Muppets. Her face isnt looking as altered now, Ill give her that. She was great at promoting her show ending and gave away tickets to everyone in the audience She also said Zuma, 11, is a little organizer and works with the backstage crew on her shows.
On Fallon they played the clip where Blake couldnt identify Hollaback Girl in his last appearance on the show, which was funny. Blake and Gwen have been together for four years now! I?ve heard that Blake gets along really well with Gwen?s kids, and you can tell that it?s important to her to bring them with her when she?s working. It?s not like she?s talking about how hard it is to balance everything, she just wishes her kids would appreciate her more. A lot of parents can relate to that!

When Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton first got together, they went overboard and people were like ?settle down, please.? There were just too many stories, too many social media photos, too much ?odd couple/love match? shenanigans. But Gwen and Blake got the last laugh they?re still together and seem absolutely fine. They aren?t going overboard with a love tour either they seem to spend much of their time in LA, but they only get pap?d every so often, and usually it?s when they?re going to church or having a rare date night out.
Last night was one of their date nights, I guess. They went out to the LA premiere of Bennett?s War, a film about a guy with the Army Motorcycle Unit who gets injured in an IED explosion and ends up becoming a motorcross racer to earn money to save the family farm. I sh-t you not, that?s the actual premise of the movie you can see the trailer here. Country music star Trace Adkins plays the soldier?s father, and judging from the photos, Blake and Trace are tight and that?s why Blake and Gwen came out to support the film.
I think it?s cute that Gwen comes out for these kinds of things with Blake, honestly. They?re a real couple she?ll go out to a premiere of a weird motorcross movie just to support his friend. And she?ll get all dressed up in a weird ensemble too, while Blake stays lowkey in jeans. Gwen?s outfit doesn?t make any sense to me, but I enjoy it. I guess I?m still a fan of these two? Gwen?s back on the latest season of The Voice as well, and Blake?s super-pleased about it.

Anyway, Gwen and Blake are always getting rumors about an impending engagement, wedding or baby. I tend to believe Gwen wants to marry Blake and she?s just waiting for him to do something about it. I also believe that Blake got burned by Miranda Lambert, and he?s probably still gun-shy about getting hitched again. But what about babies? Gwen is 49, Blake is 42. Chances are, even if Gwen tried to get pregnant again, she wouldn?t have much luck. So what about surrogacy?
Ready to expand their family? Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are ?determined to have a child together,? an insider reveals exclusively in the new issue of Us Weekly.
?They are in the final stages of choosing the woman who will carry their baby. It?s extremely important to Gwen that she give Blake a biological child, and Blake is so excited,? the insider explains, noting that even though Shelton is grateful for Stefani?s sons, ?he wants his own child too.?

By all accounts, Blake adores Gwen?s sons. Gwen and her boys regularly spend a lot of time in Oklahoma, where Blake has a home, and he?s turned his property into a giant playground for the kids. I feel like? Gwen has always wanted more kids, and she might even try this, even though what she really wants is to just get married. I don?t know. Most celebrities keep it a secret when they?re going through the first stages of surrogacy, so I don?t know if this is a legit leak from one of their camps, or it?s just a make-believe story. Eh. It feels truthy, but God knows.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have a Christmas special coming up on December 12 on NBC called Gwen Stefani?s You Make It Feel Like Christmas. She also has that Christmas album out, You Make It Feel Like Christmas, with the title song a duet with Blake. I finally listened to it, and it’s so bad you guys! It made me grimace so much. I’m listening to it now and I can barely finish my breakfast cereal. (Honey Nut Cheerios, but I eat the generic brand because I’m fancy like that.) A lot of people must agree with me as the song has less than a million views on YouTube and it’s been out since the end of September. It’s just awful.
Anyway I buy that Gwen and Blake are the real deal, she worships that basic guy and she convinced him to accept People’s Sexiest title, although she realizes that sexy is subjective. Gwen told Ellen on her show last week that Blake is sexy because of his “big old heart and that sense of humor. He doesn’t even like take himself seriously, and he’s just such an incredible person.” I think Gwen appreciates Blake because she was stuck in a difficult marriage for years, and for what it’s worth the feeling seems to be mutual.
Gwen also did an interview at a Spotify Listening Party for her album (I wonder how many people had to stifle grimaces) where she talked about her family’s Christmas traditions. Her grandmother had one that she can’t quite live up to:
“I don?t like to brag, but I did have an incredible family and parents and grandparents,? Stefani shared during a Q&A at the Spotify Listening Party for her album, You Make It Feel Like Christmas, hosted by Fred Segal and Domino Magazine on Thursday. ?I can remember my grandma, my mom?s mom, she was a redhead, Irish. I would call her crazy lady, she would probably like that, I think.?
?She used to do gingerbread villages. Like she would start and there would be the church and each one of us got our own gingerbread house and at Christmas, we would take it home and eat it. It was over the top,? she recalled, adding that she tried to recreate the tradition two years ago — but it was “a complete disaster.”
?[It had a] horrifying taste. I don?t even know how I did it. I think I used the wrong molasses. It was different molasses in it, so I?m trying to figure it out,” Stefani said. “This year is the year though! I have to do it.?

I’m not a baker, I’m just a middling cook and haven’t done much baking, and I can screw up a gingerbread kit. That said, now I want to make a kit with my kid. One of my favorite memories as a child was my grandfather making a huge gingerbread house with my brother and me. I’m pretty sure he made it from scratch. That’s amazing that Gwen’s grandmother made entire gingerbread villages like that! So much work and detailing must have gone into that, and it also takes incredible skill as Gwen learned the hard way. What a special memory. I just try to decorate my house and make Christmastime special and I hope that’s enough. We’re not religious at all in my family but we love Christmas and being together at the holidays. There’s no “war on Christmas” in America, but when Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are headlining Christmas specials, that’s a sign that it’s headed toward mediocrity.

In ?Huh?? news, singers Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are collaborating once again, and thankfully, it?s not on new music. According to the National Enquirer, the two are teaming up for a new clothing line for men.
A source told the Enquirer that ?Gwen wants to create comfortable and casual men?s clothes that are cut really well – no dad jeans.? I?m not sure where Blake comes into play with this project, as the source added, ?He?s letting her take the lead and will just weigh in on what guys will and won?t wear.? Sure he will.
Now don?t get me wrong, I like Gwen?s fashion sense. I have some of her L.A.M.B. stuff in my closet. I just don?t see her eccentric, Harajuku-influenced aesthetic translating to the plaid shirts and Dickies crowd that Blake attracts. But, hey, I could be wrong.
In other Gwake news, Blake turned 41 on Sunday and Gwen treated him with an…ummm…unusual cake. You may have gotten a Fudgie the Whale cake from Carvel for your birthday (do they even still make those?), but Blake got a cake shaped like an armadillo. The singer had to share his big day with Gwen?s niece, Madeline Stefani, who just graduated from college. I have questions. Is this the celebratory cake she was expecting? Does she get the front or back end of this thing?

Gwen Stefani is a nice Catholic girl. She was raised Catholic, and she?s talked about how her faith is extremely important to her. Most Sundays – when she?s in LA – she often takes her sons to church. Easter Sunday was no different this year. Her bow-tie-clad sons Zuma, Kingston and Apollo all joined their mom at church for Easter.
While I think the boys look adorable and appropriate for church, Gwen?s church ensemble gave me pause. Like, I?m sure people weren?t judging her in church – it is LA, after all – but what?s the general thought on wearing a miniskirt to church? Considering I?ve never been a church-goer, I always feel like going to church is like going to court. You should wear trousers or a skirt down to the knee. You should wear a bra. You should be conservatively dressed in general and probably not pair a flouncy miniskirt with a pair of three-inch Louboutins? Does this look seem conservative? Now, all that being said, she looks nice. She looks like a barely-decorated Easter egg. I think the white tights – OMG! – sort of make the miniskirt look somewhat appropriate.
(I just realized I sound like I?m all ?Goody Stefani is showing too much leg, burn her as a witch!? That?s not what I was trying to say. Since I?m not a church-goer, I really don?t know what is considered appropriate for today?s modern church-wear. My interest in this is sartorial and occasion-appropriate, not miniskirt-shaming.)
Also: Gwen was Snapchatting on Easter and she hinted that she had her first bite of chocolate in 40 days, meaning that she probably gave up chocolate for Lent?

Gwen Stefani loves makeup. No, scratch that. Gwen Stefani NEEDS makeup, at least according to Gwen Stefani. She?s one of those ?I don?t leave the house without makeup? women. She often said that she never wanted Gavin Rossdale to see her bare face and that he preferred her with makeup. Personally, I think she just loves makeup and feels uncomfortable without out and it?s not about what her husband or boyfriend likes. Anyway, makeup addict Gwen has been named the newest brand-ambassador for Revlon, which is actually a great fit. To celebrate her new position, Gwen gave a long-ass interview to InStyle. You can read the full piece here. Some highlights (and keep in mind, this is supposed to be all about makeup).
She loves this new ambassadorship: “I’m like how smart is Revlon to pick me? They’re so smart. I’m probably the most excited person about makeup that you could ever choose and it genuinely is my passion. It?s something that I’ve been obsessed with for as long as I can remember. It’s art. It’s self expression. It’s transformation. It’s confidence. All day long?whether it’s on stage, photo shoots, or just my everyday routine?I get up and put tons of makeup on because I like it, and I like doing it, and I think I’m good at it.?
Choosing love: “I feel like really excited. It’s like one of those things where I would never have dreamed this big. To be a brand ambassador for a huge world brand that’s been around forever and on top of that, weirdly also has a message. They can choose any message, right? I mean, they’re speaking to the world and they choose love. Which I think is just weirdly paralleled to my life, because I feel like I had to make a choice a few years ago when things were just so hard and to choose love. I wrote a whole record about ‘this is what the truth feels like.’ And love to me is truth. Love to me is God. Love to me is just all of those things. So I think to be a part of a world message right now, it’s just an amazing platform to just say it. I feel like it’s a really amazing thing. I’ll look back and be like, ?I’m proud.?”
Her sons remind her to put on makeup: “[Makeup] says a lot, I think. Even my kids are so used to me wearing makeup that if I don’t, they’ll be like, ?Wait are you gonna put on makeup?? I’m like, ?Of course I’m going to.? It’s just who I am. Always have been. So it’s kind of perfect to be doing it in this way. And it’s inspiring, too.”
Date-night makeup for Blake Shelton: “I don’t have an ideal of any makeup, it’s all about what you’re trying to say and mood. I think that’s the same with clothes for me too. And I’m not proud of this but I think that it really affects me. If I’m not comfortable, I’ll be like, ?I don’t even want to be here right now,’ if I don’t have the right feeling, because it’s who I am. I’m saying, ‘This is who I am.’ I think that’s true even if you’re a jeans and T-shirt person.”
Whether she can go to sleep with her makeup on: “No. I cannot go to sleep with makeup on. That is so gross! I don’t have a huge routine, but I wash my face with some cleanser that takes makeup off. I just recently started using these pads from a dermatologist that takes more makeup off. I cannot believe how much makeup was on there for all those years. I think about [when I was on tour] on a bus, trying to wash my face in that little sink. That’s what I did forever! And then I put on moisturizer. It’s not that deep. It is what it is. Some days you look good, some days you don’t.”

I?m absolutely appalled when women claim that they don?t take their makeup off before going to sleep, so I?m glad that Gwen is like ?of course I wash my face!? As for the rest of it? ugh, I do believe in ?you do you.? I think Gwen reeks of insecurity, but then again? she was deeply in love with a man who cheated on her constantly, so she?s dealing with her life the way she can. That?s how I think of it – makeup is her crutch and it makes her feel better, and really, what?s the harm? Besides the harm of her sons thinking it?s weird when she isn?t wearing makeup.
Incidentally, these photos of Gwen in red Moschino, with a full face of makeup? They?re from church. This is what she wears to take her kids to church!
