Obvious tabloid story is obvious. As soon as the Summer of Splits claimed Blranda and Gwavin, you knew this was going to happen. Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton found themselves suddenly divorced and hard at work on The Voice. So with their newly single statuses, do you think they?re hooking up? Hm. I think Blake likes blondes, but I think he likes ?em sort of young. As for Gwen? I just can?t see how Blake would be her type at all. I might need to tell my mom about this (she loves Blake) and see what she thinks about this potential hookup:
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani became single at around the same time after divorcing their spouses. Now the word on the set of The Voice is that the 39-year-old country singer and the 45-year-old rock goddess have set their caps for each other and taken their friendship into romance territory. Blake and Gwen are said to be in the early stages of a blossoming romance and, despite their attempts to keep it ‘on the down-low,’ their flirtatious behavior at work has people ‘buzzing,’ according to Life & Style.
An insider told Life & Style: ‘They’re trying to keep it on the down-low, but it’s not happening partly because they’re all over each other. The chemistry between them is off the charts. Everyone on set sees that Blake and Gwen are falling for one another.’
They both just ended their respective marriages, and ‘the pain they’ve endured’ from rumours of their spouses cheating has provided Blake and Gwen something to commiserate over.
A source told Life & Style: ‘Now that they’re both single, everything has changed. The whole set is buzzing.’
As it turns out, Blake was the one who initiated the romance with Gwen, whom he admires for her talent and business sense and for her warm, maternal ways towards sons Kingston, nine, Zuma, seven, and Apollo, 18 months. Blake, who doesn’t have any children with Lambert, has always yearned to be a dad.
‘Gwen is a doting mom who comes with children,’ a friend told the publication, adding: ‘That is enticing to him.’

If Blake Shelton ? who is beloved by many moms ? decided to date a woman close to his age, a woman who is already a mom to three young children, I wonder if that would make him even more popular with women? I know I would like him more, so maybe that?s the answer. Still, I just don?t see it. I?ll buy that Blake and Gwen have a flirty, sweet relationship but nothing more. And I bet Adam Levine is super-jealous.

Here are some photos of Gwen Stefani at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Saturday. She was not wearing her wedding ring (following last Monday?s divorce-filing announcement) and she wore a somewhat odd outfit. I?m not a fan of overalls on grown women, but I understand that they are the choice du jour for some women on laundry day. What I really don?t understand is the flannel shirt being worn as a cape. Is that a thing? She doesn?t have her arms in the sleeves.
As we heard last week, Gwen possibly believes that Gavin Rossdale was cheating on her and that was one of the big reasons for their marriage ending. TMZ left it at that, that sources were telling them that Gwen believes Gavin cheated. Radar took it further by claiming that Gavin was ?pulling an Affleck? and banging the nanny. Because every man in LA is a walking clich. Anyway, Radar had some additional details about it:
According to a source, Gwen Stefani and the nanny, who cared for Kingston, 9, Zuma, 6, and Apollo, 17 months, ?were very, very close?Gwen loaned her clothes, and was very generous with the younger woman. The nanny was very attractive, but in the beginning, Gwen trusted her and treated her as a younger sister/best friend.?
According to insiders, they were even known to dress alike! The woman was also a fixture on the set of The Voice and even accompanied the family on vacations. But over time, ?Gwen had suspicions that Gavin and the nanny had become romantically involved,? the source revealed.
Both Rossdale and the woman strongly denied it, and there was no real evidence of any fling, but Stefani?s rising suspicions eventually drove the nanny to leave the job and Los Angeles and move back East, according to multiple sources. Said one source, ?The constant stress and scrutiny just became unbearable for her.?
However, a separate source insisted it was Stefani who pulled the plug. ?Gwen absolutely fired the nanny,? the source said. ?She wasn?t going to have this going on around the kids.?

The sources also say that Gwen is ?inconsolable? and Gavin ?always denied? the nanny-banging. Sources say Gwen and Gavin were ?sleeping in separate bedrooms for months? so it really didn?t make sense for Gavin to move out and upset the kids.? Meaning Gwen and Gavin are still living together for the time being.
As for how long they will live together and the divorce details which will be worked out in the months to come, Radar says that Gwen already offered Gavin a financial settlement so that she won?t have to significantly break up her alleged $120 million fortune. Sources tell Radar that Gavin?s really going after the money and Gwen is pissed about it. Everyone?s making a big deal about how Gwen didn?t make him sign a prenup, but they were married for 13 years and they live in California, you guys. In California, once you?ve been married for a decade, all sorts of community property laws come into play. So yes, Gwen is going to have to give Gavin a chunk of her fortune.

They?re divorcing because Gavin insists on wearing ^^ drop-waist pants.
Late Monday evening, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale confirmed that they had filed for divorce. While there were rumors about the state of the Stefani-Rossdale marriage for years, the divorce announcement felt like it came out of nowhere, in this, The Summer of Breakups. One of the long-standing rumors was that Gavin cheated on Gwen, especially in the beginning of their relationship. But I truly haven?t heard anything lately about Gavin?s wandering eye. Now TMZ says that Gwen believes he cheated though?
Gwen Stefani pulled the plug on her 13-year marriage to Gavin Rossdale because she believed he was cheating on her. We’re told Gwen and Gavin have not gotten along for some time. As one source put it, the split was “a long time coming.”
We’re told Gwen complained about Gavin being away from home too much, touring with his band Bush from December 2014 through March 2015. One source says Gwen put pressure on him to stop touring and stay home. For his part, he felt it she was hypocritical because she was on the road too. Our sources say Gavin is a very good father, so both sides are seeking a joint custody arrangement.

I think it?s more than possible he was fooling around. I also think it?s possible that their marriage has been on the rocks for a while and Gavin was trying to get Gwen to acknowledge that it was over when he stayed out on the road endlessly. Sigh? I hope this won?t get dirty. I mean, on a gossip level, the dirtier it is, the more fun to cover. But still? I feel sorry for Gwen. I feel like she tried really hard to make her marriage work.

Ever since the one-two punch of divorce announcements from Jennifer Garner & Ben Affleck and Blake Shelton & Miranda Lambert, I definitely had the gossip sixth sense feeling that this summer would have at least one more major breakup. My money was on Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, quite honestly. But it turned out to be the sleeper entry in the Terrible Divorce Sweepstakes: Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale. Damn, you guys.
Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are divorcing after nearly 13 years of marriage.
“While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment,” the duo confirmed to People in a statement (Access was first to report the news). “To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time.”
The pair tied the knot in 2002 after six years of dating and were set to celebrate their anniversary next month.
“We go through so much together ? it’s a miracle that we could stay together this long,” the No Doubt singer told Cosmopolitan earlier this year. “It’s good to have those days when we both do our own things. I think that’s what keeps relationships going, when both people can be themselves and have their own individuality.”
Rossdale, 49, and Stefani, 45, share three sons together: Kingston, 9, Zuma, 6, and Apollo, 1.

This actually shocks me. Of course there have been rumors about the state of Gwen and Gavin?s marriage for years, but they always seemed pretty solid in spite of the rumors. They seemed to love their family unit and they seemed to have figured out a way to do the whole rock ?n roll marriage thing. I guess not. As for those rumors? in 2010, Gavin confirmed that he had a ?one night thing? with a male lover once upon a time, only his lover always claimed that their relationship lasted more like six years. I always believed that Gavin probably experimented a lot in his younger days and?? No judgment. Unless it turns out that Gavin had someone on the side this whole time, then there will be judgment. And for whatever reason, I just don?t believe that Gwen would ever fool around on him, but I?ve been wrong before so who knows?
Oh, and before The Batfleck, there were some rumors about Gavin and his hot nanny too. Remember that?
Last thing: Gwen and Gavin have already filed the paperwork for the divorce. Gwen filed first and they’re apparently in agreement about joint custody of the kids. You guys… what happened?!

After Gwen Stefani?s great appearance at the Grammys on Sunday, her cover of Canada?s Fashion Magazine just seems? blah. She?s a pale woman but they really washed her out. Still, I am happy to see Gwen looking much better overall. She really had me worried last year, when it looked like she was tweaking her face too much. I guess she heard the criticism and let the ?Tox work its way out. Good. As for this magazine interview, Gwen seems to be saying that she?s never really relied on her sexuality in her career. True or false?
On sexuality: ?We have this sexual side to us that is alluring and powerful. It?s a gift. When you discover it when you are around 14, it feels amazing. But you learn it?s fleeting. Sexuality is something I?ve never felt comfortable with. I won?t be doing any topless photo shoots anytime soon. It?s not my thing. I don?t judge people for it, but I didn?t even wear high heels until I was 30. It?s important to evolve outside of your sexuality to entertain people. It was never a card that I played or will play ? ever.?
On never regretting her fashion wardrobe choices: ?Everything seems to have a reason for looking a certain way. If you [hand] me an old photo of myself, I can tell you why I?m wearing what I?m wearing. Somebody just showed me a picture of me at a MTV awards, where I was wearing this blue fur bathing suit top. Right away, I was like, ?Yup, I know why I wore that.? I had just gotten off a two-and-a-half year tour with No Doubt and I felt like I needed to break free a bit. How can anyone regret wearing something? I never do. It reflects who you are at that moment.?

I remember when No Doubt really became major in the mid to late 1990s and all of the guys thought Gwen was the hottest thing. They liked her ? I believe ? because she was an interesting balance of tomboy/athlete and just good old fashioned Hot Girl. She was girly with her makeup and her platinum blonde hair but she was also all about showing off her toned abs and sweating her ass off during concerts. Now, do I think Gwen ever put herself out there like she was the sexiest chica in the world? Not really. But it seems too ?cute? to say ?It was never a card that I played or will play ? ever.?

They have great chemistry on ?The Voice,? so it?s no wonder Adam Levine and Gwen Stefani decided to join forces for the 57th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night (February 8).
The ?Harder To Breathe? hunk looked dapper as he stepped out to sing the Maroon 5 hit ?My Heart Is Open,? joined shortly thereafter by a red-dress-donning Stefani.
Adam?s bandmate James Valentine told press, "It's cool for all of us to have [Stefani] on the record. And Adam won't shut up about how cool she is as a person. A lot of times when you meet your idols it's a letdown, but it's the opposite case with Gwen, apparently."

This post is for some of my favorite looks of the Grammys. I?m realizing just now that my favorite looks were some of the simplest and most minimalist, but maybe that?s what I like? I think the Grammys can and should veer towards the over-the-top, the stunt, the look-at-me costumes and performances, but what always happens is that the people who are dressed in simple, flawless clothes end up getting most of the attention anyway.
Anyway, Gwen Stefani was hands-down one of my absolute favorites at last night?s Grammys. She wore this Atelier Versace which just rocked my world. It was beautifully tailored, it looked amazing on Gwen?s body and the construction was gorgeous. Gwen looked so Botoxy last year too, but last night her face moved and she didn?t look as waxy as before. I hope she stopped tweaking.
Jennifer Hudson wore this super-simple Tom Ford dress with some simple diamonds and a great short haircut. I think this is the best J-Hud has looked in a long time!!
Anna Kendrick killed it in this black Band of Outsiders suit. This was seriously one of my favorite looks and it?s possibly the best black suit we?ve seen in YEARS.
And finally, here?s Helen Lasichanh and Pharrell Williams, both in custom Adidas. Pharrell has a line with Adidas now, and I guess he designed this stuff for himself and Helen. He also changed into a bellhop costume for his performance of ?Happy? ? you can see the video here.

Call me crazy, but I kind of like this Cosmo cover with Gwen Stefani. I like that it?s more of a body shot, I like the star-spangled dress thing, and I like that the cover isn?t all about cleavage or whatever. In the interior shot (I?m including it at the end of the post), Gwen does flash her abs. At what age should we stop expecting celebrities to flash their body parts? Jennifer Lopez still has amazing abs at the age of 45, and Gwen is the same age, plus Gwen has given birth three different times. It?s kind of crazy. My instinct is to say, ?Eh, put it away when you?re in your 40s.? But maybe we should celebrate these #ForeverYoung celebrities. Anyway, here are some highlights from Gwen?s Cosmo interview:
On her marriage to Gavin Rossdale:

“I never really saw myself landing a guy that hot. I don’t know if I was a nerd in high school, but I definitely wasn’t the super-cute cheerleader so I never saw myself getting somebody like that. But I do think he’s quite handsome. It’s not the most important thing about him, but it is nice…and he makes really cute babies!”
On her gratitude for her long and successful music career:
“My parents taught us, ‘[music] is your hobby. People don’t make it. It just doesn’t happen.’ It still shocks me that people care about me. I trip out about it all the time. It’s mind-blowing! For me, I’ve never gotten to a point where I felt, ‘Okay, I’ve made it, I’m number one!’ It’s an amazing feeling to hit number one, but it’s not that different a feeling from not being number one. It’s really about the journey?that’s where the joy comes. It’s not about the end result, because there isn’t really ever an end.”

With Gavin and Gwen, I always thought that on paper, they were perfectly matched. They were equally hot, not too far apart in age, both were equally successful when they got together, etc. But I think Gwen really doesn?t have that much experience with men, which is strange to think about it. Like, she only really had two major relationships in adulthood and one of them was Gavin. But whatever, I think their marriage does work and I don?t see them calling it quits any time soon.

She loves showing love to her fans, and last night (January 20) Gwen Stefani showed up at the Orpheum in Los Angeles to deliver some amazing news.
The ?Hella Good? singer was in fine form as she posed for photos as part of the Priceless Surprise Performance shindig, hosted by MasterCard.
Speaking of her February 7th gig (her first solo show in six years), Stefani declared, ?[Performing] never gets old. It always is exciting, and it's always surprising to me that anyone's interested or that I get to do all this fun stuff. I feel so grateful. I've just started listening to all my old songs again and I'm learning them all. ... I don't remember any of the lyrics!"
