The news from this interview Megan Fox did with USA Today?s Weekend Magazine has been coming out in drips and drabs, but now they finally put out the full interview. As it turns out, Megan sat down with Seth Rogen, and the two were interviewed together. They play off of each other nicely, and it wouldn?t be the worst idea for the two of them to star in some kind of buddy comedy (hint, Hollywood producers). This is the same interview where Megan says she isn?t trying to take Cate Blanchett down - but Cate isn?t the only celebrity Megan and Seth are talking about.
Megan and Seth were also asked ?If you were the opposite sex but had the same gifts and qualities, how would things be different?? That?s an interesting question, and Seth answers honestly, basically saying it?s okay to be funny-looking if you?re a guy, but not so much for women. Megan seems to think that the question was basically ?If you could be any guy, who would it be?? She seems to answer ?George Clooney?. Ah, wise choice.
They may love comic books and crude jokes and share a spot on new Hollywood’s hot list, but Megan Fox and Seth Rogen never got acquainted until USA WEEKEND Magazine brought them together in L.A. for this in-depth interview.
At 27, Rogen has written, produced or starred in 600 trillion movies (”around that, yeah”), including “Knocked Up” and “Observe and Report.” In summer’s “Funny People,” he plays a writer for a famous comedian. These days, Rogen looks relatively fit and groomed. But he’s quick to joke that he’s still a pothead.
Fox, on the other hand, is just smokin’. The model turned actress was “thrust into the limelight” in 2007 with “Transformers” and now is compared to a young Angelina. But as Fox, 22, is eager to prove in June’s sequel, “Revenge of the Fallen,” and future films, there is more to her than meets the eye.
Seated side by side at a cozy table after their photo shoot, the stars hit it off.
Before landing high-profile movies and magazine covers, you were both TV sitcom sidekicks. Did you ever doubt you’d wind up where you are now?
Seth: Yes! I doubt I’m even at that point.
Megan: I agree. I started acting as a way to make money and avoid college. I sort of fell into it having no idea what I was doing … in “Transformers” as well.
Is it true that you didn’t know you were the female lead in “Transformers” until the end of filming?
Megan: Yes. Everything was on lockdown. The script wasn’t released to anyone. The director, Michael Bay, was the only one who’d seen it.
Seth: Guess what? The robots transform! [Laughs.]
In “Revenge,” you flee evil Decepticons for just about the entire movie. At least your male co-stars hauled butt in comfy sneakers — you were in heels!
Megan: Stilettos — and for the last part of the film, motorcycle boots. I had major shinsplints and threw out my back a couple times. Beyond that, Michael likes everyone freakishly tan, so we were painted maroon, like in the old Westerns when they hired Caucasians to play Native Americans. I had on fake eyelashes, running through the desert with sand stuck in them, and I’m sweating off all the makeup. It looked like we were making a tragedy.
Was the set of “Funny People” a bit more chill?
Seth: No, it was pretty much like that. [Laughs.]
Men and women are not always judged equally in Hollywood. If you were the opposite sex but had the same gifts and qualities, how would things be different?
Seth: I would’ve had a much more difficult time being an unconventional-looking woman. I think being an unconventional-looking man is fine. Most of my favorite comedians have been weird-looking: Bill Murray, John Candy, Buster Keaton. It’s almost embraced in the male world. People don’t want their comedy from a real handsome guy.
Megan: I think I would be like George Clooney. He’s sarcastic, and he has a different girlfriend constantly. It’s considered charismatic. He’s like this James Bond, sexy dude. The older he gets, the better he gets. It’s a double standard. To be outspoken, or different at all, is a problem for women. As soon as you curse or, God forbid, make some sort of sexual reference that’s a joke, you’re [labeled a party girl]. They don’t do that with men, so I feel it would be a lot easier.
Olympian Michael Phelps recently got in trouble for photos of him holding a bong. Any incriminating photos of you taking a hit?
Seth: [Big laugh.] Yeah, definitely.
Megan: But you’re not on a Wheaties box.
Seth: Exactly, I never claimed to be a role model.
[From USA Weekend Magazine]
I didn?t like Seth?s answer to the Michael Phelps question. Just because Phelps was respected and admired by kids as a role model, doesn?t mean Phelps put himself out there as perfect. Kids choose their own role models, and I?m sure there are young boys who look up to Seth. Just because Seth didn?t ?claim? to be a role model, doesn?t mean he isn?t one. Maybe I?m just nit-picking, but that answer bothered me. Other than that, it?s kind of a cute interview.

| Clooney to Testify in Rande Gerber Sexual Assault Case | Added 15 years ago | Source: Yeeeah |

George Clooney is coming to the legal defense of Cindy Crawford’s husband’s Rande Gerber, who is currently embroiled in a sexual assault lawsuit filed by a pair of former waitresses who claim they were 86ed from his restaurant after refusing his sexual advances. According to Us Weekly
While working at [Gerber's] Moonstone Lounge in San Diego, one of the women claims the supermodel’s husband attempted to kiss her three times during the night, then “put his hand up [her] dress in between her legs in an attempt to fondle her crotch.”
“I was with Rande the entire night — as were a lot of people,” [Clooney] said in a statement Monday. “They will all say the same thing that I’m saying. This event never happened. Period.”
A Gerber Group spokesperson [said] “Mr. Gerber and Mr. Clooney will take lie detector tests to prove that the allegations against Mr. Gerber are false.”
That Gerber fellow better pray that his judge is a woman, because everybody knows that no female mortal can resist the mischievous grin and smoldering eyes of the Silver-Haired Rake. His mere presence makes bras spontaneously unhook themselves and panties disappear into thin air. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve woken up on the floor of a Toledo airport bar bathroom without any underpants to speak of. It’s just a shame that I always somehow manage to miss actually seeing him when he’s there.

| George Clooney defends Cindy Crawford's husband in sexual harassment case | Added 15 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Over the weekend we heard that Cindy Crawford’s husband, Rande Gerber, was accused of sexual harassment by two different former waitresses at a restaurant he owns. One former employee at his club claims that Gerber tried to kiss her multiple times during an incident in 2008 and that he put his hand up her dress. It all looked pretty damning to Gerber, but he has at least one high profile friend who is willing to vouch for him in court. George Clooney was hanging out with Gerber on the night he’s accused of groping the women. Clooney says that he was with him the entire time and that nothing happened:
Rande Gerber’s sexual harassment lawsuit is about to get even sexier — George Clooney will take the stand. Put another way, he’s testifying against the chicks, so they may as well fold now.
Gerber, along with a couple of his employees, are being sued for sexual harassment — allegedly kissing and fondling two former waitresses. Gerber calls the claims a “blatant lie” and he’s even got witnesses to prove it — including Mr. Clooney himself.
A rep for Gerber tells us, “Mr. Gerber and Mr. Clooney are willing to take a lie detector tests to prove that the allegations against Mr. Gerber are false. Mr. Gerber will not settle this extortion case even for a single dollar and will take all actions necessary to clear his name, including filing a $10 million lawsuit for malicious prosecution once these allegations are proven false.”
Case closed.
UPDATE — Through his rep, Clooney tells us, “I was with Rande the entire night — as were a lot of people — they will all say the same thing that I’m saying. This event never happened. Period.”
[From TMZ]
I don’t know. It’s hard to claim that you were with someone the entire night and can say with certainty that they didn’t leave your side. It bodes well for Gerber that Clooney is so willing to step up and testify on his behalf, though. I usually think there’s some merit to claims like this. That’s not to say that false allegations don’t happen. In the Rob Lowe case he seems to have been railroaded by an ex employee who was looking for a quick settlement and didn’t expect him to fight back. Something similar could be happening to Gerber, but just because Clooney is saying he was with him that night doesn’t mean that the case is closed and that it was motivated by money. It’s not a simple thing to accuse someone of sexual harassment and these women deserve to have the incidents investigated.

| Brad Pitt, George Clooney among Time's Most Influential People | Added 15 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
|
Time Magazine’s annual list of the one hundred most influential people in the world came out this weekend. Time splits up their lists into five categories: leaders & revolutionaries; builders & titans; artists & entertainers; heroes & icons; and scientists & thinkers. Several of the expected people made the list: President Obama, Secretary Clinton, President Sarkozy were all named in the leaders section. Artists and entertainers recognized included Penelope Cruz, Kate Winslet, John Legend, M.I.A., Rush Limbaugh, Tina Fey and Zac Efron.
What always strikes me as a celebrity-watcher is which celebrities made the list for a reason other than entertainment value. Angelina Jolie has made the list for several years, but this year she was forgotten, sort of. She wasn?t named one of the most influential people, but she did write a short essay about one of the ?Heroes?, a Cambodian women?s and children?s rights activist named Somaly Mam. Also on the ?Heroes & Icons? part of list, Time chose to include George Clooney (for his Darfur work, in an essay penned by Bono), Oprah Winfrey (essay by Michelle Obama), Sarah Palin (in an essay penned by Ann Coulter) and Michelle Obama (essay by Oprah).
One the most unexpected inclusions on the list was Brad Pitt - because he wasn?t named as an entertainer, hero or icon. Brad was included in the ?builders and titans? part, all for his work with Make It Right NOLA. In a surprisingly lovely essay, James Carville and Mary Matalin write about Brad?s affection and work for the city. Carville and Matalin are famously Democratic and Republican (respectively) political operatives and pundits, as well as a married couple raising their family in New Orleans. Here?s what they had to say about Brad:
During the civil rights movement, the distinction was made between those who would “talk the talk” ? i.e., attend parties, fundraisers and speeches ? and those who would be willing to “walk the walk” ? that is, use their bodies as a backstop for nightsticks and clubs.
In the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the news media and New Orleans itself were inundated with people who were willing to talk the talk. And from this gaggle of talkers emerged one who took the long walk with our city.
Brad Pitt found, after listening to residents, that this horrible man-made disaster created an opportunity to build something better than what had existed before. From starting the Make It Right Foundation, which is building hundreds of affordable and sustainable homes in the Lower Ninth Ward and elsewhere in the city, to his advocacy on behalf of New Orleans with congressional leaders to his filming of the movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which featured our city so beautifully, Pitt has remained committed to the people of New Orleans.
We knew we were getting a Sexiest Man Alive, and we soon found we got the most committed one too.
At a time when New Orleans’ future ? and an entire culture ? hangs in the balance, one of the most sought-after actors in the world and our fellow New Orleanian hasn’t simply helped people; he’s also given them their lives back. Pitt, 45, has brought life and hope to the nation’s most unique city and one we’re proud to call home. In a place that has been described as “the city that care forgot,” it is a fact that Brad Pitt never forgot to care.
From Time Magazine
While Brad was out promoting The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, he said several times that this will be the year that the first phase of Make It Right NOLA will complete the initial 100 homes. Brad started the organization in 2005, only a few months after the Hurricane Katrina. There are already several homes up right now, and they have some really beautiful pictures of the eco-friendly homes up on the website.
Even though I usually hate the most beautiful or sexiest lists, I tend to enjoy both Time?s ?most influential? list, as well as their Person/people of the year lists. They?re always good reads, and usually the essays are thought-provoking and interesting. Some other notable reads were Ted Kennedy, essay by Arnold Schwarzenegger, Stella McCartney by Gwyneth ?GOOP? Paltrow, and M.I.A. by Spike Jonze.

The other night in Miami, George Clooney spent 4 hours inside of a restaurant becoming one with a tequila bottle. Georgie's drunktardian ass finally wobbled out of the place with two Sarah Larson-wannabes at his side. Seriously, this is the best George could do? I mean, was The Millionaire Matchmaker throwing one of her "mixers" inside that restaurant, because that's where these two bottom-of-the-barrel bitches look like they came from. Actually, I don't think Patti Stanger would approve of them and that's saying everything. AND HOW!
Georgie ended up leaving with one of the tricks and they went back to his hotel room to play "tickle the cornhole." But by the look on Georgie's face it didn't get that far. He nibbled on her nipple a bit, barfed on her booby and then passed the fuck out. Oh how I love booze. Sometimes it really saves you when you're about to do some nasty shit with a fug ass bitch.

| George Clooney writes editorial about Darfur | Added 15 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

|
|
|
George Clooney has written an article/editorial for The Daily Beast titled ?Nothing New To Report?. It is about the current state of Darfur, Sudan, the millions of Sudanese refugees living in Chad, and the inability of any international organization to do anything about Sudan?s genocidal madmen.
Sudan?s president, Omar al-Bashir, has just been formally indicted by the International Criminal Court. Now somebody just has to go and arrest him, something that probably isn?t going to happen any time soon. Perhaps this is why Clooney?s editorial piece seems like a study in controlled rage.
Clooney recently visited Chad and Sudan?s refugee camps. There was even controversy over whether the United Nations pulled his security detail because he was so vocal with his rage. As a wise man once said, if you?re not angry, you?re not paying attention. Here are the highlights from Clooney?s Daily Beast article, or you can read the complete piece on their site.
Last week, I visited a camp in Chad?a camp of about 12,000 refugees and internally displaced persons. I was there three years ago. The violence there is nowhere near the scale that is going on just miles across the border in Sudan.
I think what was most disturbing about the place was how little it had changed. “Normal” is 800 calories a day, sickness, threats of rebel violence, or just crime. When you see their faces, the hope that was there three years ago was all but gone. There are still moments.
…There?s too little hope. Time and time again they?ve seen the convoy of white trucks and even whiter faces pull up, drag out their camera crew and pull aside the most damaged family they can find. We film them as they give honest answers to questions no person should have to answer. ?What happened?? ?How did you lose that arm?? ?Were you raped?? ?By how many?? Then, just as they?ve seen time and time again, we jump back in our vehicles and run to the next place. ?Not really tragic enough,? is said out loud (probably by me).
…I stopped on the side of the road on the way back to my fenced-in shelter to talk to a waif of a girl who surely was raped. But the answer was ?no.? She was just sick and alone and scared. Not great headline grabbing stuff.
We all meet back up that night to assess. ?Not much new.? ?What’s the hook?? ?What makes it fresh?? These are all the best intentions. Finding a new outrage is the only way to catch the world?s attention. You spend your time looking for (and even secretly hoping for) something or someone tragic to report. A good personal story to get the attention away from what dominates our days and nights. The economy. Iraq. Ponzi schemes. The Oscars.
…Nothing new to report?except the shame of what man can do to man. And the secret seems to be that the longer it goes on, the more tolerant all of us become of it.
And yet, in the middle of all of this, we get a tiny window of hope. The International Criminal Court has now brought charges and an arrest warrant to Omar al-Bashir, the president of Sudan. He is indicted for crimes against humanity. It?s the first time a sitting president has been charged by The Hague. By the time the ICC got to them, Slobodan Milosevic and Charles Taylor were both finished with their reign of terror. Omar al-Bashir is not. Not by a long shot.
How effective these indictments will be is now in the hands of the rest of the world. Will his government turn him over? Not likely. Will the UN go in after him? Doubtful. Even if he?s caught travelling outside the safety of his country would his government be much better with other equally dangerous leaders like ?The Sudanese Six??Harun, Taha, Kushayb, Hilal, Minawi? If I were a refugee I wouldn?t bet my life on it.
So then why is this such a significant moment? Because it tells the 300,000 brutally killed and 2.5 million displaced and raped and maimed that justice must always prevail. That the rest of the world sees their struggle and stands up and demands justice.
This is the moment. And if the UN can?t use it to insist on tougher sanctions, and the United States can?t use it to pressure China, and China can?t feel the eyes of the world looking to them for leadership in the country that they profit so greatly from, then the court and the rule of international law is lost.
Now we have a headline: PRESIDENT OF SUDAN INDICTED.
From The Daily Beast, George Clooney?s ?Nothing New To Report?
George has received quite a bit of press from his visit to Sudan and Chad. After he went to the White House to speak with Vice President Joe Biden and President Obama, he pretty much gave a press conference, saying that President Obama had promised Clooney that he would send a special envoy to Sudan. Clooney also talked about it on Larry King Live, in between ?ER? and Jennifer Aniston jokes.
I meant what I said before about this Daily Beast piece being a study in controlled rage. Clooney seems very, very angry about the situation in Darfur. Most experts pinpoint the start of this genocide as 2003 - so that makes six years that innocent people have been killed, mutilated, and much more. I?m sure some will disagree, but I like Clooney angry. I like him pissed off. You can tell how much his visits have affected him, and how invested he is.

One of my favorite political ?news? websites is Wonkette, and the warbloggers over there have this feature called ?Wonk?d?, where people can write in about all the celebrities they see. Usually these celebrities are people like New York Times columnist Paul Krugman and maybe, if you?re really lucky, someone will have seen Newsweek?s Michael Isikoff at a Starbucks. Today, one of the Wonkette readers sent in a grainy, evocative picture of George Clooney in St. Louis, where he?s working on his new film Up in the Air. The Wonkette reader noted ?Obama confidante and gorgeous Darfur lover George Clooney was just spotted in St. Louis. Filming started today here on his new movie, Up in the Air (otherwise known as George Clooney stalks around airports in bland, featureless cities like St. Louis).?
Apparently, people in St. Louis are totally freaking out with George in their midst. The local press is treating it like a papal visit, attempting to note Clooney?s comings and goings, even though the production company ?has no comment? on Clooney?s whereabouts. St. Louis is turning into a town of stalker-razzi! Here?s some good local coverage from The Belleville News Democrat:
Dreamy — that’s how most women refer to actor George Clooney, who is currently in St. Louis for production of a movie titled “Up in the Air.”
Movie-related locations downtown include several trailers parked in a lot along Broadway, just south of Busch Stadium. The trailers have logos on them that read “Starwaggons,” and “Movie Movers Transportation Equipment.”
Production company officials have no comment on Clooney’s whereabouts. They do say that during the day, of course, Clooney is busy working and acting — playing his role in the movie. His nights are his own, however. And that’s where it gets interesting.
Clooney apparently has spent some of his off time in the Central West End. He’s already been spotted in a club known as Mandarin. And Culpepper’s waitress Laura Sieges left behind her assigned section Sunday night after somebody told her Clooney was right next door, inside Subzero. Sieges said she did not talk to him.
“No I didn’t, I was too nervous,” she said. “He was having dinner with some people.”
Sieges thought Clooney’s dinner guests were also move production officials. Sieges was asked if it looked like Clooney had a date.
“No,” she said. “There was a couple ladies and a couple gentlemen.”
Asked what she’ll do if she finds Clooney seated in her section, Sieges said, “I’ll probably run in the back and be like, ‘Oh my goodness, George Clooney’s here!’”
[From The Belleville News Democrat]
According to Cinematical, Up in the Air is supposed to be one of those weird Coen-esque comedies. They say ?Clooney will play an HR guy whose single joy is nabbing his millionth frequent-flyer mile. While his life falls apart in his frequent-flying absence, Vera Farmiga’s businesswoman will keep meeting him in airports and hotels and develop a romance with him.? Jason Bateman just signed on to play Clooney?s boss, and the film is being directed by Juno?s Jason Reitman. No word on how long Clooney will be in St. Louis… though I hope those people don?t kill him with love.

George Clooney is the father of twins - for one night only. Then he goes back to being the famous, worry-free, child-free ladies? man we all know and love.
Clooney has already filmed his ER scenes for the one episode he?s starring in during the final season of the long-running series. The story is that Dr. Ross and Nurse Hathaway have twins together - twin girls. I wonder if that was Clooney?s idea? I doubt it. He probably suggested that the character of Dr. Ross be some sort of freewheeling womanizer with a villa in Italy. Acting! Contact Music has more:
SPOILER ALERT: George Clooney?s E.R. character Dr. Doug Ross will return to the show as the father of twin girls.
The movie star and his TV partner Julianna Margulies will feature in E.R.’s finale, which will air in America on 2 April (09). And the pair will be married with twins.
Margulies, who will return as Nurse Carol Hathaway, tells America’s TV Guide magazine she never thought she’d be back on the show which made her a star.
She explains, “I said from the beginning I would come back if George came back. But I was pretty sure George wasn?t going to come back.
“It felt as though a lifetime had happened since then… (but) nothing had happened since then… Half the crew is still there, God bless them. We were all family. It was like coming home.”
But she and Clooney insisted their return to the medical drama be kept under wraps - because neither wanted to be part of a big publicity campaign.
Margulies adds, “We wanted it quiet because neither George nor I wanted to sit on talk shows getting people to watch the final episode of E.R… It?s the last thing George needs. Of course the day we get there, I could see a long lens outside the Warner Bros. gate, taking pictures of us walking to the set. Nothing?s sacred anymore.”
But she’s glad she made the decision to return: “I worked with George for two days and we had an amazing time.”
From Contact Music
Cute, right? Julianna sounds excited - I wonder if she ever regrets leaving the show. I stopped watching ER after Clooney left. My affection for Noah Wyle just couldn?t sustain me. So I really have no idea what is happening on that show, but it seems like, just judging from the commercials I see, that everything has happened to that poor hospital. They?ve had bio-medical hazards, contagions, fires, murderers, it?s probably even been bombed at some point. Let?s keep our fingers crossed they don?t give Dr. Ross the plague or something. Perhaps they?ll give him some rare ?Italian? disorder, contracted from a mysterious villa. Cue dramatic music.
Speaking of villas, CB sent me something from Hello! magazine about how Clooney and David Beckham are friends because Clooney is lending his Lake Como villa to David, Posh and the boys. It sounds really nice of him, but there?s always a possibility that Clooney is renting his home out for a price. Clooney has said he only really goes to Lake Como during the summer months, and maybe during Christmas. That?s a long time for a great house to be sitting unoccupied, and it would make sense for Clooney to rent it out to paying customers/friends. Doesn?t mean that Clooney and Beckham are best friends, although I would love to know what Clooney thinks of Posh. She might be just his type!

George Clooney’s taste is women is apparently growing more refined. After dating Sarah Larson, a Vegas cocktail waitress and ex-Fear Factor contestant, Clooney reportedly now has eyes for Fatima Bhutto, a 26-year-old poet and journalist, who is the niece of slain Pakistani leader Benazir Bhutto.“He’s still out there with his usual assortment of Hollywood eye-candy hanging from his arm,” a source told The Enquirer. “But George insists those days could be coming to an end if Fatima wants to take their relationship to the next level and spend some serious time with him in the U.S.George and Fatima - who lives with her stepmother and half brother in a plush suburb of Karachi - met at an international conference last year.”Fatima Bhutto graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Middle Eastern and Asian Cultures and Languages from Columbia University and received a Masters at the School of Oriental and African Studies in South Asian Government and Politics. She has published two books and is a columnist for The News, Pakistan’s largest English-language newspaper. She probably auditioned for Fear Factor, but didn’t make the cut due to her overwhelming fear of Madagasgar Hissing Cockroaches.

| George Clooney will play real-life JAG lawyer taking on Bush, Rumsfeld | Added 15 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

George Clooney has just signed on to star and produce another political drama. It?s tentative title is The Challenge, and the script will be penned by Aaron Sorkin, who wrote the first three seasons of ?The West Wing?, and most recently, the excellent Charlie Wilson?s War.
The Challenge will tell the true story of the Supreme Court case Hamdan vs. Rumsfeld, a case which fundamentally changed the Bush Administration’s policies on habeas corpus, torture and Guantanamo. Clooney is looking to play Charles Swift, the JAG lawyer who headed up the team of lawyers defending Osama bin Laden?s driver, Salim Hamdan, who was one of the first people imprisoned at Guantanamo Bay. Hamdan was released to his family in December, 2008, after years of legal battles but is still technically considered an “enemy combatant” by the US.
George Clooney will be producing a new courtroom drama through his Smoke House company, and has tapped scribe Aaron Sorkin to write the screenplay.
“The Challenge” may be a possible acting vehicle for Clooney as Navy lawyer Charles Swift in the drama that will look at the trial of Osama Bin Laden’s driver Salim Ahmed Hamdan.
The film will be based on Jonathan Mahler’s tome “The Challenge: Hamdan cs. Rumsfeld and the Fight Over Presidential Power.” Clooney will be produced with his Smoke House partner Grant Heslov.
Sorkin has already proven he can lead a marine court-martial drama. He was behind the 1989 play “A Few Good Men” and its 1992 film.
From AHN
I realize this a celebrity gossip site, but the inside story of this court case is really fascinating, and it?s something I?ve been following for a while. Vanity Fair has had some of the most interesting, in-depth coverage of the Hamdan case, the verdict and the consequences. Swift is a really incredible person, a Naval officer and a patriot who defends every single person?s civil liberties with his life. Throughout the five-year legal battle, Swift gathered resources from the ACLU and the cream of the crop at Georgetown Law, many of whom worked pro bono with JAG. Vanity Fair even interviewed Charles Swift throughout the court case, in a piece that was published in 2007. It was a startling piece that?s a must read. I?m thrilled that Clooney will be making the film, and I hope it gets done soon.
