Kicking off another work week, George Clooney was looking studly in a suit while in Milan, Italy on Monday (August 2).
The "Up In the Air" stud greeted on-set workers before delving into a shoot for a brand new Nespresso commercial.
The sighting comes as George is dealing with a PR headache thanks to girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis - who was implicated in a cocaine club scandal in Milan.
Claiming to have seen Miss Canalis use the drug at the now-closed Italy hotspot, French escort Karima Menad said, "I used cocaine along with other people, among whom was Elisabetta Canalis."

Sorry ladies, but George Clooney is still off the market.
After rumors soared that the 48 year-old and his Italian beauty Elisabetta Canalis called it quits, Clooney couldn?t keep quiet.
?Once again the story is made up, spread to other outlets and now denied," Clooney, said in a statement released after the reports covered Internet. Adding he said, "But don't let facts get in the way of a good story." The couple has been together for nine months and was first seen together last summer, with their first appearance at September?s Venice Film Festival.
Meanwhile, 31 year-old Elisabetta will appear on five episodes of TNT?s "Leverage" playing a mysterious woman known as ?the Italian.?

He?s been plugging away on the set of ?The Descendants? as of late, and George Clooney was spotted doing his thing in Hawaii over the past week.
In a recent interview with British Airways High Life magazine, Mr Clooney opened up about when he first visited Los Angeles many, many years ago.
The ?Up in the Air? actor told, ?On my very first day in LA, my cousin Miguel took me for a drive up Sunset Boulevard.?
He continued, ?All these girls came up asking if we wanted to party. I said, ?Girls love me, man!? Miguel just replied, ?They?re hookers, you idiot.??

Logging the long hours at work, George Clooney was busy filming scenes on the set of "The Descendants" in Oahu, Hawaii on Wednesday (March 17).
Showing that he still has a little spryness at the age of 48, the "Up In the Air" stud donned a blue polo with shorts as he sprinted along the streets while cameras captured his each and every move.
Due out in 2011, Clooney's new flick is being directed by Alexander Payne and co-stars a cast including Beau Bridges, Shailene Woodley and Judy Greer.
As for the movie's plot, a synopsis via IMDB tells: "A land baron tries to re-connect with his two daughters after his wife suffers a boating accident."

This isn?t really a story. I just saw these cute photos of George Clooney in Hawaii, where he?s filming a movie, and I was struck by how much happier he looked since the last time we saw him. That?s right, his drunken, grumpy appearance at the Oscars, where he happened to be with his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis. Now, why does George look so happy in Hawaii one week later? Is it just because he?s in Hawaii, that lucky bastard? Or is it because there?s no sign of Elisabetta? Because I?m starting to wonder she got pushed away just as soon as Clooney finished campaigning for his second Oscar. I’ve been thinking for a few months that Canalis was on her way out, and I seriously can?t find any news about whether Canalis is in Hawaii with him - methinks he already sent her packing back to Italy.
Anyway, George is in Hawaii filming The Descendents with director Alexander Payne. It also stars Matthew Lillard, who I love and I always wish he got hired for more projects. He?s a really underrated character actor, and maybe working with Clooney will give him a career boost. I had forgotten that Clooney signed on for this movie, but apparently it?s been on schedule since last November. Here?s a basic rundown of the plot:
“The Descendants” focuses on Matthew King, a wealthy landowner with Hawaiian royalty in his blood. Life is far from perfect for Matthew ? he has two irascible daughters in the form of ten-year-old Scottie and seventeen-year-old Alex, not to mention the fact that his high maintenance wife has slipped into an irreversible coma.
Making the impending death of Matthew’s wife even worse is the fact that her secret lover hasn’t been informed of the situation. Acting upon a sense of obligation, Matthew and his two daughters hit the road in search of the mystery man, perhaps the only man Matthew’s wife ever truly loved.

I wonder if Lillard is the mystery lover? No, he can?t be, right? That would be such weird casting. But strange casting is kind of what Payne does so well, even though I don?t always care for his films. About Schmidt was probably one of the most overrated films of all time, in my opinion. Anyway, I?m sure we?ll be hearing more about this project, especially if Canalis is really gone and Clooney is recruiting a new cocktail waitress/model-type who likes it kinky.

Well, it looks like George Clooney is keeping Elisabetta Canalis around for a little while longer. These are photos of George and Eli arriving in Switzerland over the weekend. While they don?t look particularly happy with one another, they don?t look on the verge of breaking up either. As opposed to my working theory that George had already grown tired of his Italian ?television presenter? - an opinion I formed just by watching Eli and George?s interactions at the Golden Globes, they both seemed over each other. Then George didn?t even bring Eli to the SAG Awards, and then there were some tabloid pieces about how Eli?s jealous behavior might be driving George away.
George Clooney and girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis received a very warm welcome yesterday after arriving in St. Moritz, Switzerland. George was greeted by a friend with a big hug after his private jet landed overseas.
Elisabetta went for a stroll with her sweater clad puppy during the day.
The Italian TV personality and model has been one of the most public of George?s past leading ladies.
We can?t wait to see the couple walk the red carpet at the Oscars, where George is nominated for Best Actor for his standout performance in Up In The Air.
[From OK! Magazine]
Meh. I still think Eli isn?t going to last much longer. My guess is that she?ll be George Oscar date, and then a few weeks after that, there will be a short but sweet announcement that she?s broken up with him. Because George is nice that way - he?ll make it look like he got dumped. It?s his style.
Two more notes: Eli?s puppy is not cute at all. He looks like a little rat. Also, George shaved his beard! So long, Beard Club. Do you think he?s copying Jon Hamm?

George Clooney?s star-studded Haiti relief telethon is coming on tonight, on pretty much every channel you could think of. CNN, MTV, ABC, NBC, VH1, and many, many more. Clooney admitted in a new interview that he?s been up for days trying to organize this thing, and last minute guests and performers are still being added today. Meanwhile, there has been some talk of making the guests and performers pay a ?cover charge? for entry into the telethon, but it hasn?t really gotten any traction. It might have been a good idea, but I think Clooney is just focused on getting the damn thing on the air without any technical difficulties and he?s probably not focused on trying to force all of his celebrity friends donate seven-figures immediately.
Not to say they aren?t already, though. George himself put up a million dollars, which he will likely announce during the telethon. Also, Leonardo DiCaprio was the first star to put up a million dollars for Clinton-Bush Haiti Fund, with the money being directed to ?near-term assistance and long-term recovery efforts.? Here?s more:
George Clooney and Leonardo DiCaprio are opening up their wallets to help victims in the earthquake-ravaged Haiti.
Clooney is donating $1 million to Friday’s “Hope for Haiti Now” celebrity telethon. He will officially make his donation during the telecast.
He told Entertainment Tonight that he’s been up “three days straight” trying to put together the broadcast, which will air on all four leading U.S. networks, dozens of cable channels and internationally on Internet websites. Brad Pitt and Robert Pattinson are among the participants; Beyonce and Madonna have been added as performers.
Meanwhile, DiCaprio also has donated $1 million.
His money will go to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund (CBHF) to support near-term assistance and long-term recovery efforts, his rep tells UsMagazine.com.
His donation, dispersed through the Leonardo DiCaprio Fund, which fosters awareness of environmental issues, will help with immediate relief efforts as well as with longer-term redevelopment and infrastructure projects, including a focus towards sustainable development.
“I am grateful for the generous gift Leonardo DiCaprio and his Foundation have made in support of our Clinton Bush Haiti Fund,” former President Clinton said. “Combined with the outpouring of donations from Americans and citizens around the world of all means, this support will go a long way to help save more lives, reach more people with emergency assistance, and help the Haitian people build their nation back stronger and more secure than it was before the earthquake.”
[From Us Weekly]
Beyonce will be performing from London (probably standing right next to Sparkles!), and Madge will perform in New York. Hopefully the divas will keep it to their hits and not try to push some ?new material? on us. My guess for Beyonce is ?Halo? and for Madge? ?Don?t Tell Me?. Wouldn?t that be awesome? I love that song. Ah? Madge. The other musical performers include: Bruce Springsteen, Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake and Keith Urban.
Clooney also did an MTV interview that aired last night. He told the audience: ?It’s a big world out there, and we all have a lot of responsibility to look out for people who can’t look out for themselves. So what we can do is first and foremost, raise money. Period. That’s it …If I thought we could all pick up shovels and go in there and help without being in the way, I think a lot of people would do that.” I?ll be watching (and donating!).
